Although I no longer utilize their services, I am grateful for the assistance they provided in the initial stages of lawn care, which has resulted in a significant improvement in the condition of my lawn.

My lawn has never looked better and keeps improving.

I am not going into details, but I will not be using this company. EVER.

Dreamlawns is not the first lawn care company that I have used; but they are the first to do what they promised.

Third times a charm. Yes, it took me three lawn service companies before finally finding one that I will use for years to come. The first one, a large nationwide company, didnt understand the difference between warm weather grass and fescue. And because of that killed my entire backyard full of zoysia grass. The second company with three letters lacked basic customer service and refused to take responsibility for their error, which cost me a multiple applications of nutsedge, which I did not actually have. Then when I called them out on it, they were rude, dismissive with an overall owell attitude. Finally I found Dreamlawns, who has been, well, as the name implies Dreamy. They are always polite, their customer service is top notch and they have gone the extra mile to keep me informed while making me feel valued and respected. My technician, Brian, is amazing, so knowledgeable, and always takes pride in his work. This relationship has been a true partnership for the past two years and I am happy to report that our lawn may be the envy of the neighborhood. I highly recommend Dreamlawns.

Dreamlawns is an outstanding business, they are nothing like the other lawn care companies. They value their costumers and their service is top notch. I have zero weeds in my lawn. Amazing service and great people. Dreamlawns was recommended to us by a friend and I m glad we called. We were able to quickly schedule an appointment for a quote, and the appointment was informative and pressure free. They provided the quote and answered all my questions allowing me to make an informed decision. Signing up was easy and the office staff was amazing to work with, and again there was no pressure. The first application was on a few days later.

They are on time, leave specific guidance on how to follow up and make the most out of their treatment.

This Company is definitely worth using especially if You want great looking Grass. We have only used this Company for Grass related work. They come out every 5-6 weeks for Weed Control and Fertilization and do the seeding and aeration at the beginning of fall. The Technicians are professional and knowledgeable and very polite.

Dreamlawns, and Neil specifically, has transformed my lawn in a matter of months. I had used two other lawn services for a couple years at a time and the lawn would always look good for a month or so in the spring and the fall, but would quickly go downhill in the summer and winter. Neil takes the time to go over specific watering frequency and duration depending on temperature, mowing tips, etc. Then, when I did have a fungus type problem in June, he came out the day I emailed him, he identified the problem, treated it, and I was back to a green lush lawn in a week. He came back to my house twice over that week to make sure things were progressing well. The lawn has been green and lush ever since. If you want a company that is thorough, prompt, very knowledgeable, and one that genuinely cares about your lawn, don t use anyone but Dreamlawns. I now have the nicest lawn in the neighborhood!

We had the mosquito treatment done last summer. I don t think I saw a single mosquito in our yard after the treatments started. Dreamlawns let us know via text the night before they would be coming to and would arrive the next day as promised. We plan on getting the treatments again this summer and highly recommend Dreamlawns for mosquito treatments as well as any other lawn treatments they offer.

These guys are hands down the most friendly and professional lawn care team in the Hampton Roads area! I cannot recommend them enough! Dreamlawns completely changed my yard in the a great way. My grass was horrible and I contacted them and in the timeframe they gave me, I have the thick green fescue I ve always wanted. I cannot tell you how happy I am. Also every time they come out for treatment they always make sure they check in and see how things are going.

The results have been fantastic. My yard was very patchy with assorted grasses and weeds. And now my neighbors say I have the best lawn in the neighborhood. This is our 3rd year using Dreamlawns. When we started our service our yard was either brown, weeds, or just dirt. Now we have a plush, green lawn that we are proud to show off. We had lots of questions in the beginning and Dreamlawns was quick to answer with a caring smile. The guy who cares for our lawn, Jon Jon, always leaves a note telling us what he did during his visit and any helpful tips for us to keep our lawn in great condition. I have been with dreamlawns now since September of 2016 and have never been disappointed. They keep the schedule they give you and their techs and office staff are always courteous and professional. My lawn has never looked better since Ive been with them. This year I accepted a new mosquito control service from them and I havent been bit by one this year yet. Even with all the crazy stuff happening in the world they are still making good on their promises to do a great job on my lawn and everyone else I know that does business with them. Been using Dreamlawns for a few months now. Lawn is getting greener, stays healthier for longer versus my neighbors lawns, and weeds are almost non-existent now. Customer service is great, and their pricing is fair. I will continue to use their services.

This is the worst service I ve received in my life. After spending thousands of dollars on labor, sod and seed over the past 9 months to establish a beautiful and well manicured lawn, Dreamlawns recommended and persuaded us to aerate and overseed. After receiving rain for the last few days and having standing water in the grass, Dreamlawns arrived when nobody was home and aerated the lawn. They left ruts nearly 6 deep and tore patches of good sod from the ground, decimating the entire yard with ruts, tire marks, chunks of torn up sod and piles of dirt/mud.

The best of the very best. If there is a rating higher than 5 stars, Dreamlawns would get it without hesitation or reservation. On the recommendations of others, I turned to this family owned company several years ago after terrible experiences with two different national corporate owned companies. Dreamlawns knows the business cold, knows and takes fantastic interest in the customer, and keeps you religiously informed. You get the same tech every time who truly cares. I cannot say enough about Dreamlawns. Every interaction with their staff and service techs has been amazing. Our lawn was far from a dream when we purchased our home. After a few months of conditioning we noticed a major difference. Now 13 months in, we have the best grass in the neighborhood. Neighbors stop weekly asking who does our lawn. I have used Dreamlawns for the past year and a half and I am extremely pleased with their service. I recently had my lawn seeded and aerated. With the rain and warm temps, I have a beautiful thick, lush, lawn that is virtually weed free. I tried lawn care on my own, and it never worked out well for me. I also tried a major corporation, but was tired of the additional services that they kept trying to push. I had to drop them with the constant nickel and dime you to death. Dreamlawns is upfront about their pricing, which IMO is better than the big company, delivers a better quality product, and is a local business.

Technicians are polite and respectful. I always receive a text the day before service alerting me to their upcoming visit. Very convenient service as my presence is not needed for treatment so Im not tied to the house and can run errands or leave as necessary. I can just relax and enjoy my beautiful lawn. If you use this company GOOD LUCK...I had them for about two years and I have the best looking hayfield in Chesapeake, totally BROWN and great weeds...then look out about their billing and accounting...they tried to bill me three times for the same service after I sent them copies of invoice and checks...they even admitted they had a bad accounting system, so at last Christmas time I paid what they kept telling me I owed which was over $150.00.. I couldnt prove they were or were not out here so I paid...Be Careful with them saying and invoicing you they were out at your yard. I stop listening to 97.3 radio station because they advertise there...just remember the radio station is going to get GREAT SERVICE because of advertising ... Just be aware...my yard is terrible...all brown and full of weeds....terrible company.

Excellent customer service no matter who Ive spoken with, or met personally. Knowledgeable and helpful staff and they took on my lawn which really looked bad when they started. So glad I called them when I did ... they have exceeded my expectations!!

Dreamlawns has single-handedly rescued our lawn, shrubs, and trees. We had been using a certain national franchise and our lawn was essentially a mix of diseased grass and weeds. We lost our flowering cherry to insects. Everything needed a lot of TLC after a year of wasted effort. We re about a year in with Dreamlawns now and I can t believe how dramatic the turnaround has been. Rating 5 stars doesn t seem like enough.

Update: they have become better with their communication. Original post: I am having the same issues as Land Airplane without any coupon for compensation, every time they come I get a half done job it seems like. I am giving them through the spring to see if these issues resolve. But they keep saying that they have come and charging me, but my weeds do not die after 3 weeks. They also told me that the aerated and seeded and charged me when they had not, it got resolved after multiple visits and a visit from the owner but I continue to have issues with them spraying for weeds and the weeds never going away. They say that they have issues getting into my backyard but it is unlocked. I met who I think was the owner and he is a great guy but I find those who are doing the maintenance to be dishonest. Hopefully I will be able to see a change in the service soon.

They do a great job and are quick to address any concerns or changing lawn conditions. Reliably and regularly visits (and gives notice on the day before). In less than two years my lawn went from spotty and scraggly grass to lush, green turf type fescue. Im very happy with Dreamlawns.

I hired Dreamlawns last summer (2017). I have lived in my house for 15 years and for 15 years we tried to grow a nice lawn. What we ended up with was nothing but weeds. So i asked. Dreamlawns to come and give me and estimate amd to see if we could even grow grass. When they inspected.my yard, I was told they generally list the weeds and provide the customer with a pian. The saddest day was when he said i had so many different types of weeds there was no way he could identify them all... our plan of action was the spend the rest of the spring/summer killing everything off in my back yard. Along comes fall and they did in fact killed everything. So when they airated and seeded the backyard. I followedl the directions to water and sit back and watch the magic happen. I can say i have a beautiful green grassy back yard. They held true to their promise. I have now cut my beautiful green grass twice since the warm weather. I was so overwhelmed by having grass after i cut it for the first time a few weeks ago and sat on my swing and cried with joy.. it may have taken us 15 years to get grass. Impressive! We have the GREENEST lawn in the neighborhood. It s a new construction neighborhood that took some TLC, but turned the rubbish construction site into a thriving and established lawn in just one season. Aftet two years of having the worse lawn in the neighborhood. Its now the Diamond our family hoped for. I, had five different Grasses, Weeds and Crab grass that was uncontrollable. It took aeration, lawn treatments and new planting of a different grass altogether. Thank You!!!!!!!! AMAZING RESULTS! Great customer service in person and via telephone. We have been using Dreamlawns for mosquito control for 3 years now. Their customer service is is fantastic, and we get to enjoy our backyard all summer!

BLUF: Told me twice services were completed on my yard when they werent. Issues were only corrected after several tense phone conversations. I upgraded this review to 3 stars after owner, his son, and a manager came out and paid a personal visit to ensure all my questions were answered and to assure me that my business is important to him. I may upgrade review in the future if I dont see any more problems in their customer service and if the services result in the lawn I hope for. I prepaid for aeration, seeding, organic fertilizer top cover, and 7 courses of lawn fertilization and weed treatment. Aeration and seeding was scheduled for 6 October 2018. Nobody showed up on that day. I called the office at about noon time. Marquis told me the crew already showed up. I told him that was not true. Marquis then told me he would do some research and call me back in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later I had not heard form him so I called him back. He told me the crew drove by my house and confirmed my house was serviced. I told him I was standing in my lawn and it was not treated. Marquis continued to insist my house was treated. I told him to check the address. When he did, he discovered the crew went to the wrong address! A crew was scheduled to come late afternoon to complete aeration, seeding, and apply organic top cover fertilizer. Crew came but did not put down fertilizer. I was told by the crew that fertilizer would be applied Monday, 8 Oct 2018. On Sunday, 9 Oct 2018, the office called me and told me fertilizer would not be applied until Tuesday, 10 Oct 2018. When I got home on Tuesday, 10 Oct 2018, the fertilizer had not been applied. I called the office and Marquis told me the crew was there and put it on my yard. I told him I did not see or smell anyuthing. Marquis said he would call me back in 5 minutes. 35 minutes later he called me back and told me the crew scheduled to apply fertilizer had run out of fertilizer and that is why my yard was not done. He said it would be rescheduled. At that point I told Marquis I wanted a phone call from an owner. About 30 minutes later I received a phone call from a female in the office (not the owner) who told me she was sending someone out in the early evening to apply the fertilizer. He did show up and apply it. However, had I not known what seed, aeration or fertilizer looked/smelled like then I would still have an unaerated, unseeded, unfertilized yard even though I paid for it! I will return and write another rating when the services are complete. For now, I am giving two stars. The only reason I dont give one is because Dreamlawns gave me a $50 coupon toward future services. Of course, this does not even cover my time on the phone with them . . . .

The folks at Dreamlawns are local, and they treat us like family. The company is a small local business that as far as I have experienced is full knowledgeable and dedicated professionals. They are dedicated to your satisfaction. He also offered to service my lawn for the next year for FREE to try to make my lawn the way I wanted it to look and to try to keep my business. I agreed and Im glad I did. The lawn is looking much better and I think when the burmuda comes out of its dormant stage it will look fantastic. Dream Lawns is hands down one of the best companies I have ever worked with when it comes to weed control in my yard. Our landscape company decided to treat our lawn by killing patches of unwanted grass. It destroyed our beautiful lawn. We contacted Dreamlawns who performed a miracle. Within a month, they had our lawn restored to the lush green grass we were used to seeing. We still have a ways to go, but we know Mike and his team will stay on top of it and keep us in the green! Received a promotional flyer that offered a service. What the flyer didnt say, and no one reviewed, was that every six weeks they repeat the service for $60 each time. After canceling, they still came out, and I had to pay an additional $60.00.

Dreamlawns has been doing our lawn for 7 - 8 years now. It is a problem lawn because of the many trees shading the backyard. First we just had Dreamlawns do the fertilizer, etc.. Then we had them Aerate the lawn and, in the last two years, have had them do the Seeding as well. The lawn looks much better and my wife is happy with it.
