Ive used Maple Leaf for several years for snow removal. They are reliable and timely coming early in the morning when there is a storm and later in the day if there is additional snow.

well- run and quality oriented services firm, which manages snow removal, landscaping, lawn services and decorative brick services. We have enjoyed working with their team, especially Richard.

They do a good job of checking in prior to snow storms and of keeping you informed if theres going to be a delay in your plowing. A bit expensive but then you always know your driveway will be plowed.

This is the second project I had done with Maple Leaf and they did a phenomenal job. Craftsmanship with retaining wall block and patio pavers was great and I would highly recommend their services!

Maple Leaf has done yardwork and plowing for me for the last 30 years. They are reliable and a great value. They have been quite responsive to all of my needs and concerns. I can highly recommend them! The most recent work they did was to cut down a tree and clean my gutters and downspouts. I spoke with Joel on Thursday and Maple Leaf came early the next morning! The work was excellent and thorough.

We have always used Bruce Company but due to their tight schedule we decided to go with Maple Leaf even though their estimate was higher than Bruce Company. They were able to get us in quicker so we decided lets give them a try. I can say consider somewhere else. We had an estimate done with someone on site marking what we wanted done and we had a dogwood that was almost dead with a few green leaves that we asked to have it removed. Day of service after they left I noticed they left the one that was to be removed and removed one of our good ones that had no issues. I called and spoke to Joel and he offered another dogwood but thats not what we wanted so refused. Low and behold our remaining amount of our bill comes via email. I received it on the 2nd or 3rd of July. Invoice states due 6/30/24. Secondly we were billed full amount for removal of dead dogwood that was never removed only a good one. Hence I did email my concerns on the invoice and there has been dead silence. Not even a response. I live in a very nice new subdivision that is only 4 years old. Lots of homeowners here constantly looking for these type services. I will be posting also on our local subdivison facebook site my experience and highly recommending sticking with another company.

The workers were great. They came ready to work and knew exactly what to do. They finished spreading mulch just where I wanted it in under an hour.

Promised Spring cleanup in 1-2 weeks.3 weeks now and haven t even received a quote.

Maple Leaf has serviced us with snow removal for the past three years. We are very satisfied with their service and attention to detail.

Snow removal is easy as long as it does not snow-much. We have been Ridge Oak residents for 22 years/winters. Seen many snow removal companies come and go. The 13 outlots are a challenge for removal due to the closeness of the houses. The outlots on the South side of Ridge Oak Dr. Steep hill Drumlin need special care to prevent icing of the upper 1/2. I used to be on the board and was the contact with the snow removal companies. AKA the Snow Tsar. So I do know that the snow removal companies operate at the direction of the HOA. Which has limited financial resources. And I know its often a balance between the HOA spending as little as possible while trying to get the best out of our removal vender. Residents are typically unaware of this and just blame any deficiencies on the vender. We have had a handful of snows over 3 so far this winter. Compared to prior venders Maple Leaf has done a better job on the sidewalks than most. But did for some reason did wait an extra day or so to clear the walks on one snow. Not good as it is a safety issue. The company did put product on the outlots on a few occasions. But did not adequately address the extra needs of the outlots on the hill-Drumlin- South side of Ridge Oak drive. This should addressed in the future yes- adding additional cost to the HOA and us residents- its a safety issue. We live at the end of one of the S. Hill outlots.5109 Ridge Oak. Winter of 2022-23 my wife did fall and break her ankle and hand. Im the 60 something guy who shovels the upper 1/2 of our outlot when it snows and shovels a clear path to the sidewalk too. I use sand and ice melt on the path too. I believe that in the spirit of Quality Improvement that any critique should include specific examples of deficiencies to remedy: The one area that Maple Leaf did consistently fall short of expectations is they NEVER cleared the snow in front of the mail boxes. This needs to be addressed in the future. This might have not been included in the contract but should be in the future. Again a safety issue. on a grading scale of A,B,C,D,F. I give Maple Leaf a C. We have used Maple Leaf for several years and have never been disappointed. We plan to continue using their services.

We had a retaining wall that was not installed correctly. Drain tiles for downspouts were inadequate which was causing damage to our building as well as causing the retaining wall to fail. Water was building up behind the wall resulting in the wall leaning out and threatening to collapse. Mapel Leaf did a fantastic job of removing retaining wall, installing proper drain tile and re-installing retaining wall using existing material. Water now drains through the wall as it should and damage to our building has ended. This was done in 2021 and the wall is still a thing of beauty.

Maple Leaf has been great at taking care of my lawn, trees, mulching and garden bed weeding. They do planting and are excellent and emergency tree care and removing trees as needed. I highly recommend them!

We had a spring yard cleanup and shredded bark installed. Both jobs were completed early in the season and the workers were careful and courteous. I miscalculated the amount of bark needed and the job supervisor called the office and had a few extra yards delivered and the crew stayed on site until the job was finished! Our neighbor came over to ask who did the yard work because she was very impressed. Would highly recommend using Maple Leaf!

In a town where it snows 18 one day when no one planned for it and none when it called for a blizzard, a snow service needs to be nimble, smart, and fast. Maple Leaf is all of these. Given the crunch for staffing these days, I have no idea how they do it, but everyone on their staff is thorough and responsive. Snow service is never cheap; might as well get the best.

Maple Leaf has plowed me out every winter for years now. Great reliable service, convenient clean and thorough. If there are service delays or especially heavy storms, they send timely updates.

My lawn always looks great! And its a joy to wake up to a clear driveway the morning after a heavy snow.

I had them install elevated beds by our front porch and install a stone facade around the exposed concrete of the porch. After working with the owner on some ideas he brought out a whole bunch of example stone bricks to see what I would like instead of just looking at a picture which helped out a lot. After they walked me through there whole process which also helped me get a better understanding of what was being done. When the job started they did everything the promised, everything was cleaned up after , nothing was damaged, and it looked great. I was a little concerned about all the plants surviving since it was completed the first week if November but everything is green and coming in nicely. Even if they didnt survive they have a 1 year warranty on the plants so thats great too.

I have not received an application to my lawn yet in 2023.

the rock garden is gorgeous!!! many hands, many rocks and the plants are lovely. set up of the flower garden and trim was perfect and much appreciated. all the work to mulch around the house and trim is just right. The grass seed you use needs to be upgraded. Had to do a lot of reseeding on my own.

Ive used Maple Leaf Inc for the past few years spraying various trees for Japanese Beetles. The workers have always been on time & the 4 large Birch and Linden tree are very happy as I am. Thanks so much.

Maple Leaf did our rough grading, fine grading, seed, sod, mulch beds, and planted 2 trees at our new construction home in August of 2022. To say we are unhappy with our yard is an understatement. The rough and fine grading is horrendous. One of our trees is crooked. The mulch beds were not dug deep enough so mulch is spilling out into the lawn, and the dirt underneath is not even close to flat, so there are many areas where landscaping fabric is exposed, but valleys where there are inches of mulch. We contacted Maple Leaf on August 29th ask them to take a look at the grading because we had water pooling in our back yard and to take a look at the tree that appeared crooked. They never rang the doorbell or let us know that they were coming by, but I got an email on 10/21/22 (after following up via email twice, and several phone calls) that they had looked at it and everything was fine. In the spring of 2023, we had several inches of standing water in the middle of our yard - about 1/3 of our backyard. We asked them to come out again. Again, we had to follow up several times before someone came by to measure. We had to follow up several more times before a crew showed up with no warning, didnt speak to us at all before beginning to bring dirt to the backyard, and advised it was fixed after we went out there to see what they were doing. Luckily we were working at home to be able to speak with them. It is better than it was originally graded, but it still holds water and is clearly not done correctly. Following that, we mowed for the first time in the spring, and there are holes and valleys in a 5 foot wide area along the entire length of our backyard. I called and had someone advise that the supervisor wasnt in the office but would leave an urgent message for him to call us back. We have never heard back from them and have given up at this point. We paid a lot of money and gave Maple Leaf a blank slate to grade and the work was completed so carelessly. We would expect at least some pride in work and follow up to fix what was done poorly, but they really just do not care. Based on the quality of work performed and the absolute lack of communication afterwards, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They do my mowing and are very good. Everything is all cleaned up when they are done. If I have a question, they answer in a friendly manner.

I had an appointment and visited the site. Arranged for an estimate for the landscape work. At the site visit it was noted that a natural retaining wall created by a different company on new construction was beginning to fail. I too had notice the shifting. Maple Leaf redid the wall and moved it back to then start the stone patio space. Everything has stayed in place just like when it was new! Excellent workmanship. Excellent response to calls.

They make time in their schedule to help us on the spur of the moment when we would like a tree planted or a bush removed. They make our lot look well cared-for AND haul away all the garden debris and fallen leaves so that it looks immaculate. They are on time, efficient and careful with our property. I recommend them at the highest level possible. They are GEMS!

Lawn treatments for weeds have always been very effective and timely.

Maple Leaf snow services are dependable, as well as expertly handled. We have several front steps to our home and theyre always shoveled after each snowfall.

I spoke with a courteous person on the phone who took my detailed info regarding my query into snow removal services. He assured me an estimator would reach out to me within days. No one did. So I called the company, leaving a message clearly indicating my query, my previous phone call with their associate, and my contact information. It has been weeks and still no response. If this is indicative of their communications and service, then I suppose I am glad I was not able to engage their services.

Very efficient. The job was done professionally, in all aspects, to include cleanup. And the crew was very courteous.

They drive around like maniacs. It s only a matter of time before they cause a major accident on the road.

I hired Maple Leaf in May to remove 3 trees, a dirt pile with debris and to level the back corner of my yard. They were a nightmare from beginning to end. They first came at the end of June. Instead of removing the pile as agreed, they removed good soil and spread out the pile with construction materials. I was there and mentioned that the pile needed to go and showed them the glass and nails. The didnt seem to care. I was picking up nails and broken glass for days. After several weeks of emailing and phoning them, they contacted me at the end of September to correct the issue. While there, I asked about the timing for the trees. They said that should have been done before the grading. (which I had mentioned the first time). They sent a crew and put sod over it so it looks ok, though I am still worried the nails will make their way up through the soil. (after the tree removal) The tree crew came in October. They did not have control of the tree limbs they cut and my roof, patio table and planter box were damaged. They also ran into my back fence. Once again I started emailing with photos. At first it seemed like they were actually going to address the issue. I finally had to take apart and throw out the planter and remove the back panel of the fence as it was hazardous. I only asked that they pay to repair the roof and compensate for the table (it was newly purchased last year). They responded on October 23rd and November 1st. Each time they were going to have it resolved soon. Nothing further despite emails and filing a complaint with the BBB. I have used Maple Leaf in the past with no real issues. While their quality of work has never been stellar, it was always acceptable. No longer.

Maple Leaf has been our go-to landscaper for several years and weve been very pleased with their work, friendliness and professionalism. Weve had trees removed, new drive-way and entrance installed, back patio installed, shrubs planted, bark mulch delivered and spread, so much more.

This review is 3 stars because of the owner, not the crew doing the work. The owner and some estimate staff have terrible communication skills. the owner sent crew with no notice and changed agreed on products with no approval from me. The crew would get 5 stars. The company was prompt in meeting me for a bid for 2 small retaining walls and small lawn repair. Prompt in getting the estimate, then communication stopped. I paid 50% down and it took 6 weeks to finally get someone to get me a choice for stone. They came up with one option. I had emailed weekly because the stone had yet to be picked and ordered and the date of the job i was given had already passed. 5 months later after much painful communication the job is done. Looks great. If the stone options would have been given to me when I was told they would be the job would have been done in September not the end of November. The stone turned out to be special order . As i said , had i been given this info at the start the stone would have been ordered and delivered for a timely install. The owner hides behind his staff and lets them do the dirty work when I had directly emailed him. The staff told me they had complaints from clients on communication. Im sure they couldnt tell the owner or might have had repercussions. I was also told about the bad communication skills from staff at 2 stone yards they work with.

Everything was fine.
