Salt drivers have no idea what they are doing. Would never recommend this company and only have poor things to say about how they operate.

Very professional, only company I would call for snow removal

I have their mowing services and they have yet to come out once this year to mow. My lawn is over a foot tall. Incredibly disappointed.

OT underbid and overcharged us on multiple different phases of our project without upfront or proactive communication...including one phase where the installer decided to upgrade us without asking our permission, leaving us to pay thousands extra for an upgrade we neither asked for nor wanted. While the quality of the landscaping work itself is great, the way they handle the business side of things left us disappointed. After leaving this review, an owner did reach out in an attempt to rectify the concerns, and a billing compromise was reached. So they get some credit for being responsive to concerns in the end, though it shouldnt take a negative review for a company to do the right thing.

I have called several times and left a voice mail. Never received a call back.

Olson Toon has been servicing our lawn for years (after we couldnt keep the beetle grubs under control on our own). Everything is healthy and attractive, and we never have to think much about it because they just come at the right times and do the right things! Thanks, Olson Toon!

Their employees go to Kwik trips and don t wear masks. They put peoples lives at risk, no different than a reckless driver. 3/5/21 truck # 120

I live at Leopold Place in Sun Prairie. I have never seen such poor quality in my life. They mow so fast that everything is uneven. That s doesn t include the strips they miss because they are going 40mph on their mowers. They do not pick up any trash they see. It s a lot easier to mow over it and make a bigger mess. The person with the blower needs a lesson on how to use it. It took me 40 minutes to sweep the grass off my porch and patio furniture. I had grass in my screens. They also mow for the Smith s Crossing Neighborhood Association. They don t do any better there. Spend the extra money and hire the Bruce Company!

Messy (grass clippings everywhere over personal property); sloppy (shady) job on mowing the lawn (missed areas, uneven areas); unprofessional. Leopold Place is know for its excellence and professional appearance and maintenance and this company does not match those standards.

I had some difficult trees to remove from around my out building. Several tree services declined. Raymond from Olson Toon stopped out, shot me a bid and scheduled a time to come out. He arrived on time. He and his crew were timely, efficient, professional and did the job to my specifications despite the heat and humidity. I couldnt be more pleased. Thank you! Kevin

Wonderful company to work with

Could not say enough about this company. Customer service is wonderful and they have great response time. The workers who did the job were friendly and answered any and all questions I had. Will certainly be going back.

Olson Toon s response to this review is not correct. I could see the cedar rust on the tree they installed within the first week of it being planted, and we followed all watering and care instructions like our neighbors did. Our neighbors have requested replacements and did not receive them. We have contacted Olson Toon about our grass issues and they claim they have been out but they have not, we have had to reseed ourselves. During a work from home era it is so easy to know that Olson Toon has not returned to our property even though they claim they have. Olson Toon was the landscaper contracted with our home builder. They did such a poor job with us and our 3 neighbors that the builder no longer contracts with them. They left obvious low spots in our yard, our grass never actually grew because they planted the day before a giant storm and the seed washed away and we had to reseed ourselves. Both the bush and the tree they planted were diseased with fungus. Would give them 0 stars if I could, what a waste of $10k.

We recently moved into a newly constructed home. Olson Toon was involved from the very beginning. Everyone at Olson Toon was curtius, on time and all of their employees did excellent work. I highly recommend Olson Toon.

We recently used Olson Toon and couldn t be more pleased. Ryan, from that start, was exceptionally helpful in designing and planning out our project. He was patient as I changed my mind on things and went back and forth, and offered his honest and helpful opinion when needed. We started out with a weed bed (we had 3 huge pine trees taken down) and a torn up yard from septic replacement. Our project scope expanded a bit as we realized instead of waiting another year or two to do some additional upgrades, it would be best to just do it all at once - and that we did. We couldnt be more impressed with the crew that came to do the work: Quinn, Noah and another gentleman (I cant remember his name) worked so hard and were super professional. They cleaned up each day beyond what we would have expected. Ryan stopped by to check in regularly - it was really cool to see the plans come to life, with their team making adjustments as they went, to make the end product perfect. It really seemed like they all took pride in what they were doing, also enjoying seeing the work come together to the final product. There were also folks from the irrigation team that helped repair our broken irrigation system, so that was able to be up and running for our new grass. They were great and super helpful as well. Still today, we have people that stop when walking (and driving) by to tell us how nice everything looks. We will always recommend Olson Toon for any landscaping/lawn care needs. They exceeded our expectations, and that is because of the great people they have working for them. Ryan has been great in helping us work to maintain the lawn post project as well. Their people go above and beyond. If you re thinking if going with Olson Toon, do it. You won t be disappointed.

They did an AMAZING job removing a very large tree from our front yard! They removed the entire root and did not damage our yard at all. They even moved our American Flag from the mailbox while working, as to not get dirt on it. Everything was clean when we got home and the yard looks amazing!!! Highly recommend!!!

We hired Olson Toon to replace some existing landscaping. They were wonderful from the design process to the finished product. Very responsive and professional. I would highly recommend them.

I want to tell you just how wonderful your company is.... last week during another heavy snow fall I got stuck out in Blackhawk and I do mean stuck...actually I was sitting on top of the snow ..one of your trucks came by and even though they were obviously tired after working all day ...2 of your employees took the time to stop and help me by pulling me out with their vehicle. I am so very grateful for the help of your employees....please give those 2 men my thanks. They didnt have to stop and help me but thankfully they did.

I would not recommend! The yard turned out to be more weeds than grass and looks absolutely terrible. Yard also needs to be re-graded as it is pitched toward the house. Probably going to end up re-doing everything ourselves.

Thrilled to have Olson Toon take care of our outdoor needs. They ve taken great care of us over the years building retaining walls, landscaping, plantings, establishing lawns/prairie, snow removal, mowing etc. It was an easy choice to choose them as our pool builder after having many years of timely service, great planning, and following through if something wasn t 100%. Their level of prompt communication makes them a standout amongst landscape firms. Having all of the services I need under one roof makes bigger projects an easy task. The pool building experience was top notch from planning with Brad their landscape architect through the building process with Robbie. It is clear they know what they are doing and the result is amazing. The job took them exactly the amount of time promised. They may charge a little more than some of their competitors but having prompt service and a great team to deal with far exceeds the cost. Olson Toon will be at the top of my list if I need any other service.

So pleased with the landscape design and work done by Olson Toon. Our 3 patio areas with concrete and paver in-lays are awesome, the grass on our one acre lot grew in beautifully and the built in surround for our outdoor grill is amazing. The retaining walls are top notch, exactly how we wanted them. We also fenced in our yard and the team met their promised deadline. We loved how they involved us in the process of laying out the exact design. The most amazing thing was when we made a last minute change to add some arborvitaes to the side yard and within 25 minutes they were on site and being planted! Thanks to the entire team you all work so hard and know how to come together to get the job done.

I have been a customer of Olson Toon Landscaping for over 20 years both on commercial work and for my home. I will never work with anyone else because I know they will go the extra mile to get the job done right. They are absolute professionals and have excellent people from top to bottom. They were recently given a very unfair review about the pool work on my Timber Valley apartments. This was a very challenging project and they did a great job. It was comleted later than we thought but that was not Olson Toons fault. They had a huge crew working late and weekends in record heat. I dont blame the resident for his frustration because we were frustrated too but this was not an example of poor performance by Olson Toon but just the opposite. I know there is no other company who could have done better. I will only work with those contractors who I feel are the best. Olson Toon excels.

I havent used their service, but if it is like the way their employees drive, I certainly would not. Got cut off from one of their drivers and he had the audacity to look at me like I did something wrong.

We had a pool and gas fire pit installed by Olson Toon. They did great work and the people that helped us and did the work were amazing. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pool or landscaping work.

Great customer service, awesome pricing.

We hired Olson Toon to fine grade and seed our yard. Initially they were quite responsive in coming out to give us an estimate. They came in priced lower than the other bids and offered more in terms of putting down the straw netting. However, even after I paid 40% of the job, they wouldnt answer my calls or emails until finally I called the support staff and told them I wanted to cancel the job. After that, they were responsive. They planted the seed which is 80% weeds, 20% grass. The lawn looks awful. I had instructed them to not plant right up to the foundation and they seeded that anyways. I had instructed them to grade and seed the entire median strip and they did 3/4 of it. On the other hand, they graded and seeded more than expected on the side of the yard. When I asked for additional grass seed they said they would drop it off right away but didnt until I sent an email stating I would pay the balance only upon receipt of the grass seed. It showed up the next day. I would not recommend them. They never checked in with me after the job. If you withhold money or threaten to not pay, they are responsive.
