Could not be more disappointed in my one year plus of their service. They are an all sales no service company with miserable communication skills. they have no problem solvers just spray rig jockeys and excuses. one year and i have 2x3 foot bare spots in well irrigated areas. every answer to your complaint is can send another company out and well bill you for their services. Stay away. Move on as I did.

I am a newcomer to Florida. These people are OUTSTANDING!! I have them for lawn maintenance and pest control services. I have a Holiday Builders lawn from the last quarter of 2022, that has been severely impacted by a malfunctioning sprinkler system since I moved in, in OCT 2022. Green Island is walking me through the whole what is wrong status, the recovery process and providing expert inputs on how to handle this going forward. Wish I could use them for my house up north!!!

Green Island is the standard in lawn and pest control care in Indian River County. I have family and friends that have used there services for years and I m glad to finally be on board. There special attention to detail and customer service is obsolete! Wish I had called them sooner!

Extremely deplorable customer service, from this company. Wanted to reach out and hire this company for lawn care. The company rep B****E, sent me a price quotation for a yearly contract. I had a few questions, since it was not clear. Very next day I receive an increased price quote from the sales rep B****E. When I enquired about the sudden increase of $270/- per year from the price quotation sent just a day, the reply was price increase is based on our interactions and foreseeable future issues to cover administrative expenses. When as a paying customer I tried get my doubts clarified, the sales manager, sent me a message stating Unfortunately, we aren t going to be able to help you, we feel its best for you to contact a different vendor . This level of customer service is pathetic Shame on this company. Please be beware.

Once Russ took over, our lawn went from patchy and dry to lush and green quickly! We get compliments regularly now on how wonderful our lawn looks. Highly recommend!

Service seems good, but not great. Left side of yard seems to be dying and I have brought it to our technicians attention. We will see if we loose that side of our yard.

I want to thank Chris Richards, the service tech at Green Island who takes professional care of our lawn. As a new home owner, my grass, shrubs, trees and landscape beds needed extra care to begin to thrive. Chris consistently inspects and treats my whole yard with fantastic results. When bugs or disease begin to invade, hell let me know and offer a treatment plan. Last summer, while away for a long period, I had an irrigation issue causing a lot of drought damage. Chris took the time to notify me of the problem and helped to correct the problem. Chris will not only service your yard but leave a detailed report explaining what he did and recommendations going forward. (Me, pregnant, driving and minding my own business). Maybe next time don t use a car with your company s contact information. I m the owner of Aquidneck lawn care service. In the Palm Bay Area. Mike has some of the nicest lawns I ve seen in Florida since I ve been down here. many of my customers have switched to him and the results are dramatic most of the spray companies in the area are doing little for what they re charging you.

They did a very poor job for us after installing a very expensive system. They will likely respond to this review with some excuses, but dont believe what they say. When we asked them repeatedly to do a better job, their response was to cancel our service. They were very unprofessional. Also, at least one of the reviews below is fake. It was written by one of their employees who was faking like she is actually a customer.

Dexter comes to our house month and as we need him. He is truly professional and responds very promptly . I was attacked by multiple fore ant mounds and sent him a message on a Sunday and he was here on Monday morning My lawn and plants look wonderful and I have a very full garden!

I own a lawn service business and Mike at Green Island is the only fertilization company I trust with my clients yards. They are knowledgeable and friendly.

This is worse company you could ever deal with. The owner threatened to remove my termite baits after I paid him $1200. I didn t want to continue service because I questioned whether or not he had even been at my house. No evidence what so ever. No video, no card, this company is very shady. Don t trust the work they say they do.

Was a great service until we chose not to use them anymore for financial reasons. Then our lawn was damaged and we were charged finance charges because they had to call us. Again, was a great service until we said no. Don t say No!!!!

We live in a subdivision located in Sebastian Florida that has an HOA and they require our grass to be green and cut to a certain length. (Weather permitting with rain and sprinklers) 10 months ago our lawn had multiple yellow spots and some areas had dirt showing through even. We contacted Green Island to mange our lawns fertilization needs. They have not disappointed! Our lawn is more full and green than ever before. Overall the owner and employees make us feel like family! Their customer service is top notch! If youre in the market for great lawn care, then you need to call Green Island lawn!

Sadly I would not use this company ever due to the terrible experience I had merging on the highway in Vero Beach. My wife had to yield to traffic before merging because we had a yeild sign. Apparently, slowing down BECAUSE we had a yeild sign was too much for one of their workers behind us. Once on the highway, he rode up along side us, rolled his window down, yelled f-words at us, gave us the finger, then tried to pass us real close with his trailer coming into our lane. Oh, did I mention my there kids were in the car? I dont think the workers have the temperment to deal with customers.

We have been having problems with weeds and ant piles. We have a dog and a child so we use the yard a lot. Brooke responded quickly and helped us find a plan that worked for us. A couple days later Jay called and scheduled a lawn fertilization and weed/bug spray. Thomas arrived the following morning and fulfilled the job. We were taken care of by three professionals and are excited about the future use of our lawn.

I have had service with Green Island for going on 3 months now and my lawn has never looked better!! My lawn tech, Danny, is always polite and lets me know when he is coming so I can make sure my dogs are inside! I never thought I d have the lawn that would be the envy of my road but I have people ask all the time what I ve done! And the answer is nothing, I let the professionals at Green Island handle it!

Tried national brand lawn service for approx 9 months with little improvement. After one application from Green Island, the lawn looked so much improved. Have had them fertilizing lawn and shrubs ever since and everything looks great!

Gave them a call about a carpenter ant problem in my house and within a couple days Brooke came out to the house and found the nest within minutes. She gave me an estimate on the spot and once we approved it I got a call from Adam to schedule my treatment. They worked around my hectic schedule and got it done very promptly. As a small business owner myself I was impressed with the promptness and professionalism the team displayed.

Excellent service!. The company comes at a specific time each month. I do nothing except to arrange for lawn mowing. The lawn is weed free and remains thick and green throughout the year. After more than one year of service I am comfortable in highly recommending Green Island lawn and pest control. KCF

I had dollar weed when they started about a year ago and hardly any grass. Unfortunately I still have the dollar weed, but I now have a lush green lawn with dollar weed.

Green Island Bait and Switch We asked Green Island to come out and give us a quote to do insect and weed control on our lawn. Brooke came out in a few days to inspect, and provided us with a quote the same day. It was for $1000 per year for 6 applications. That was quite a bit more than our current service from Sandpiper, but Brooke said that their application also included weed pre-emergent, which Sandpiper does not. So we remained interested. We asked for verification in writing that their application did include weed pre-emergent. Instead of a clarification, we got a revised quote for $1975 and a note from the owner Michael D Ambra saying that they only did complete service for houses in our area! We have never had a lawn service dictate that their lawn service MUST INCLUDE plant maintenance, and that was not our original discussion with them when they said they could do what we wanted, including lawn service only. The additional $9785 (which doubled their already high quote) was for only 4 applications per year for planting and palms for fertilization and insect control! Since we currently do the management of our plants and trees ourselves, we realized that this additional $975 was being charged for about 5 hours work for the year or $195 per hour. This is the classic BAIT AND SWITCH Tactic! Additionally, the require a ONE YEAR CONTRACT WITH A CANCELLATION FEE, nothing any other yard service requires! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE UN-TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE.

They do a good job of keeping our lawn and shrubs healthy and we ve had no pest issues in our home since we began working with them.
