Sadly, I have had no other choice but to cancel my contract with TruGreen. I never saw the same field technician twice. When a supervisor (that came out a couple of times ) would offer an evaluation, the next tech recommended the oppoisite. No, I did not tell the tech about this but I did follow up with the supervisor. I have switched to another company. Same tech everytime for my service. What I was told was a fungus and there was nothing TruGreen could do about it, the new tech/company has been able to bring under control. He said it is not a fungus! And, he is doing a great job bringing my lawn back. Sorry TruGreen, I tried to give you time to correct my lawn and shrub problems. I was not satisfied with the results and it was time to move on. My recommendations, 1 evaluate your business model and assign a dedicated tech to a client. 2. Much more field training for your staff. 3. Monitor your field personnel! Sorry that I had to write this review but early on in our contract I gave you 5 stars and that is no longer the case.

DO NOT PREPAY!!! Extremely misleading salesman. In late October he assured me i was prepaying for 1 year service/10 visits. Not even 9 months later they have charged my card twice $53. Online account shows there are 2 visits remaining but i have been charged for visit #7 and #8. I will keep reporting them until i get a refund for the 2 charges and until the remaining 2 visits are completed. Dont advertise 10 visits if you will start charging before all 10 visits are completed.

Part of my lawn , about 30 percent does not do well. Lawn is in poor condition. The rest has brown spots and bare spots not filling in. I dont think your service is living up to hype the sales man sold me on.

The salesman who came out diagnosed my lawn as having a fungus. So, I signed up to get rid of it. I note that I have a fungal infection. So I called up, and they said fungicide was not on my service and wanted more money. Not well done, Trugreen.

Howard explained why the Robellini looked bad and treated. All other trees and shrubs are looking great!!

For the most part the service is good , if there is an issue TruGreen is pretty fast with resolving the issue.

At this point, TruGreen is totally scamming people out of their hard earned money with no good results. I signed up with TruGreen last year and prepaid over $500 for the service and that was with a discount because I had prepaid option instead of per service. I ended up canceling the service and was issued a refund of the remaining funds due to I was unhappy with the service provided and did not see a difference on my lawn with their services. Fast forward to February 2024, a regional manager, Craig Smith, showed up at my property saying that I had requested a manager to come out to the property, which was a total lie. However, I stated my concerns from the previous year of servicing and we did a walk through on the property. At that time I stated to him the inconsistences of the previous services such as the previous quotes. I had 3 previous quotes and every single one had a different price. It went from over $1400, to $780, to $540.93 to $662.34 which was paid 2/20/24, the same day that Craig Smith came out to the property. He assured me that everything would be taken care of. So here we are April after a couple of treatments, my grass locked worst than it was before their treatments had started. Imagine having over 5 thousand sqft of almost completely dead grass!! Speaking of square footage, I found it ridiculous that initially the sqft that was measured was 3417 sqft, this time around it was measured at 15403 sqft!!! How?!? We havent changed anything, added anything so I DO NOT understand HOW they came up with this ridiculous amount of square footage. When I called and spoke with a rep, she measured it at 6993 sqft. Can you understand my confusion???!!! This means that they were over charging for footage that they were not even treating! My property lot not even that big, including if they were including the house! Listen, save your money, time and frustration. Pick a company that KNOWS what theyre talking about and wont kill your lawn. It doesnt matter who you speak with at this company, EVERYONE is going to tell you something differently from pricing to service. I would never recommend or use AGAIN.

178 SE VIA LAGO GARDA PSL: My $30,000 dollar golf grass I installed has been dying under true green care and I called so many times and never got a call back. They didn t even stop by for months. My yard now looks like mud grass and nobody cares. See photos. This is after 4-5 months of their care. It looked beautiful before they started.I am contacting my attorney since nobody called me back after I requested a call back 4 times alread and my lawn is destroyed.

Had several problems with shrubs and hedges when I returned for winter. Was able to get with a supervisor and discussed a plan to get on coarse. Today they gave 1st treatment and technician spent a lot of time. Now we need to sit an wait for a month or so. Hopping we can salvage as much as possible. Will put follow up pictures in a month or so. Crossing my fingers.

Jamal was punctual, pleasant and very thorough. I would hope that we could have him for every service call, but he said that they rotate shifts. All employees should be his hard-working as him.

They guys from trugreen that come and spray my yard leave the gate open to my backyard all the time and they know we have a dog. It s been mentioned multiple times. I have two sides you are able to get into the backyard through the gated fence. One side is hard to close and the other is perfectly fine. Stop leaving my gate open!! This rating should be lower because I finally left their service. The staff are great from those on phone to people performing the service. Polite and try to help. The issue is how corporate TreGreen runs the business. 11 months of lawn care and still had several types of weeds. The company wants you to take responsibility and call them back for extra spraying. If it had the correct chemical mix with monthly sprays I should not be calling them inbetwee service calls. Each monthly service included a note of chemical mix and everything looked good. It did not look good. Weeds and bare spots. Everything is separate. Bug spray on lawn was extra and worked great when I signed up for that. But shortly after I had issue which I was told to call about and price was higher now. When I did call I received 2 lawn treatments in a week, no fungas or bug spray. Bottom line I am now with a company that treats all at same time, lawn, bugs, and irrigation, a total package. Price is a few pennies different but the team advises on all conditions, not limited to separate areas. Hope this helps

This is not a review of the quality of Tru Green lawn service. I have no opinion on that because I quickly eliminated them as my lawn service due to their HIGH PRESSURE TACTICS! I decided this past Thursday (May 5) to check out a few lawn care companies to service my lawn, shrubs and trees. I spoke to Tru Green (along with a few others) and ended my conversation with instructions for the sales rep to call me on Monday after Id have had time to think things over. He asked if he should call the next day (Friday) and I repeated, No - call me Monday!. Within 2 hours of this call, a Tru Green rep was at my house to look over my property and offer additional price savings. An hour or so later, I received a phone call from Tru Green offering yet more additional savings. Next day Friday I recd 4 phone calls and then on Saturday morning, another. I told the rep during the last call on Friday and again on Saturday that any chance of me choosing Tru Green was long gone due to their high pressure tactics. Their response to this was to hang up mid-conversation. On top of all this I found out late Saturday that the service rep that visited me on Thursday basically trespassed into my gated community when he positioned his car to enter through the exit when a resident left (we do have a keypad for use by visitors and contractors which this sales rep decided not to use). The resident followed this unauthorized vehicle and approached the driver who identified himself as a Tru Green rep who had an appointment with me. There was never any appointment set up. My recommendation is to avoid Tru Green and trash their constant mailers unless you enjoy HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTICS!

Franklin continues to do excellent, professional work to keep our trees and shrubs healthy. He is always willing to answer my questions and will offer friendly advice when necessary. Franks expertise and efforts are the primary reasons that I continue to have TruGreen service my trees and shrubs. The technician is 90% of the job success.

While I realize that every homeowner or business may or may not have different components on or surrounding their lawn, I encourage everyone to get a signed copy of TruGreens liability for any damage they might do while spraying your lawn with their chemicals, or find another company. In my case, I happen to have a suffleboard court, which was in perfect condition before TruGreen started spraying their chemicals. My location can be somewhat windy, but I could see, in watching one of their spray people doing his job, that the wind was of no concern to him. It was very apparent that TruGreens chemicals ruined a good portion of the finish on the shuffleboard court and the surrounding finished concrete. I called them and reported what their chemicals had done, and was told someone would inspect the damage. I never was notified when they made their inspection, but they contacted me and refused to accept any liability for the damage. TruGreen could land up costing you far more than you ever expected because of their damaging chemicals and lack of professionalism, so if they do not provide you with a written statement covering complete liability for any possible damages, find someone else.

Saw no improvement and canceled service a month ago. Saw the truck outside today and told driver we had canceled the service he said he had already performed service and knew nothing about it, Said he came from Melborne and only doing his job. Have tried calling again today and the wait is over an hour left my number and waiting for a call back. It should not be this hard to cancel a service. Very disappointed.

Very difficult to get the company to come out to service the lawn they took my bank account over the phone. They received the payment over a month ago. Then cancelled the appointment to service the lawn four times without notice. I keep calling for an appointment after receiving an email that they would service between 8am and 12 pm but again its a no show. No one showed up. Dont use this company.

The bigger the company the worst the service

Watched technician spray half my yard. He lied to me when I questioned him. Also stated my yard was in need of water- -I have had to drain water OUT of my pool this week. There is no way to contact the local TruGreen office. it s been over an hour and no manager has returned my call using their call center.

I signed up for a 1 year prepaid service with true green. The service they provided was just ok. twice throughout the year they over fertilized and burned the lawn, kind of minor and the lawn recovered within a few weeks. My problem with True Green is that when my 1 year prepaid service ended they did not notify me. Their welcome aboard letter says that they will continue service until I cancel, HOWEVER, it also says that will send a reminder to let me know my prepaid service has expired and there will be an opportunity to save on the following years service. This didnt happen. What did happen is that immediately after my service expired, they come out, did two services for $168.00 and charged me. The customer service reps said we will look into it and call you back....didnt happen. Called back a couple of days later and after 15 minutes on the phone, (true green verified my call back number) I just get disconnected......no call back. Third call to True Green service rep says they cannot call back, they do not have that ability. In the end I feel hustled by True Green and they are a typical corporate company. As a customer, you cannot get any reasonable assistance from them. I cannot recommend True Green. I would recommend folks use a local company that actually cares about their customers.

Very unprofessional when it comes to reporting the actual issues with the lawn and general lack of understanding south Florida lawn needs. The person that came out does not know the difference between a weed and grass. Then try to call the local office to discuss, get sent to a call center offshore. Just save some time and effort and go local. Would not advising using, and also do not prepay.

My whole yard was supposed to be sprayed with fertilizer but the employee only sprayed the front. He put on the invoice that 11,468 sq ft was treated when six video cameras show him only treating 500 sq ft. From the time the truck pulled up until the time it left was a little over 6 minutes. The name on the invoice of the employee is Maximiliano Playfair from the Vero Beach, FL location. The supervisors name is Ted Waters.

Had service now for over 6 months. Very responsive, but they dont follow through with all aspects. They still havent controlled the weeds either. Ex. I complained about Nutsedge. A specialist came out and explained it required a special chemical and would have it done within a week or so. That was about 3 months ago. I still have a variety of weeds flourishing well . One of the reasons I wanted the service is due to dead spots that I thought was a fungus. Three times I was told it NOT a fungus, it was for underwatering. So I followed through with their recommendations and still have the dead spots and mushrooms now. Finally someone came out and declared they were fungus. Nothing has been done for it yet! Never again once my contract is up.

TruGreen has taken care of my lawn for several years. They fertilize and treat for insects. They take care of the turf, trees, shrubs/ornamentals. Everything looks great.

Weve had Trugreen for about 3 years and I seriously feel like we wasted so much money. Our lawn has never been free of weeds, our house is stained from their chemicals, they killed 3--7ft tall hibiscuss that we had to remove and replace, they killed a row of hedges that we removed and replaced and never did they attempt to make this right. I believe we had 2 months of free service in the 3 years weve been customers. Weve had the manager out a few times to try to fix the numerous problems but our yard is still a mess. We had to cancel and now were back to doing it ourselves.

Soliciting door to door, cant read no soliciting signs and dont wanna stop when you tell them no interested. Unprofessional.

Signed up for the service applications. Explained to the Sales Rep what I was concerned with. Needed Weed and Feed. After 2 months the lawn is still in the same condition. The Supervisor responded: Its took that long to get it in the condition its in and it will take that long to get it back to normal. I asserted the Lawn was only a year new. I basically wanted to green up this St Augustine Grass/Floratam and rid it of any weeds. And I actually could of done this myself with my Spreader...time didnt permit that...She claimed the Tech said theres different types of grass that could of been wind carried into the Lawn. My response was the Tech/Tru Green was hired to eradicate the issues. She said: They cant rid it of different grass seeds. I call them WEEDS, she calls them different GRASS Varieties... You wont know this until AFTER you signed and agreed to the service and expected other results...Caveat Emptor

Unfortunately another 2 weeks have gone by and the grass continues to decline and nothing done. UPDATE: Steve M - manager came out to see the herbicide stress and discussed how to fix the damage with some floratam plugs and time and mother nature. Thankful for his follow-up. During our routine lawn care treatment on April 21 the service technician sprayed our lawn and the last path that he sprayed - the green grass was colored orange and subsequently died - all visible from the driveway, front door and street. I have called 6x, emailed 3 times and went to the local office. We have received no help for the dead grass that was created by the chemicals the tech sprayed.

Their there when they say and keep an I on this pricey bed of St. Augestin. One PROBLEM. Ive asked to be sure to have the bottom lock latched on our gate and the person just cant seem to get it right. I trust them to come in our yard and Im sure not to have our dog out when they come. At least they could be sure my gate is locked so my PITBULL doesnt get out. If she gets out, their the last thru the gate. Ive called and reported it. Maybe this is what it takes. If I come home and shes loose, Im not gonna be happy. Its only one here. The other one is fastened shut. Please be sure both latches are latched. Thank you.

I was approached by a door to door salesman and offered a deal to pay for 1 year In advance for the service. Well at first lawn was looking good then it started looking worse than it did prior. I was going to just let the contract expire and not use them anymore. Well 11 months into the 12 month contract and I get a bill. I call and talk to them and they tell me its not really a year, I told them thats not what I was sold on. Needless to say save your money and do it yourself this place sucks.

TruGreen misleads customer as to application. First and foremost normal application does not control weeds. Then the amount of produce placed on property is overstated. I witnessed 5 gal and the report indicated 22 gal. Now as a customer one must watch because some of the property may be missed completely. Bottom line, TruGreen may be a good company with good employees but they need to be watched when on property as it what is put down on the report may be misleading.

I am not at all satisfied with this company! VERO BEACH OFFICE! First of all I am just a customer....if the tech has been coming out why didnt he or she do something to try and fix the problems. The tech should know what is happening to the lawn if they are taught correctly! Thought I had a year of treatment only to find out that it is only 10 applications. If they spray 2 different things on one day they each are an application charge. I have been having my lawn done I think they said 9 applications already. My lawn is nothing but sand spurs and weeds I had put in new sod came in good until they sprayed it ...now it is filling in with sand spur and black tips, and not as thick as it was. Remind you I did call them and told them I put in new sod in most of my yard. I have been trying to reach a supervisor since the 10th of May today is the 15th. They said it would be 24 to 48 hrs until I would hear from a supervisor. Understand that the 10th was a friday. So you would think that someone would call monday afternoon! I called them on Monday to find out that the 24 to 48 hrs starts on monday morning! Here it is wednesday and still no call. Called into to talk to Steve Marini, who is suppose to be the supervisor of Vero Bch office but he is located in Orlando, on Wednesday to see why I havent received a call. Can NOT reach him said to be in a meeting or out on the field checking out other complaints Im assuming! Called corporate to find out they can NOT do anything either except write a note to Steve. Now you would think if you have a complaint with the company and you talked to customer service and also supervisor Karen Kennedy that someone would call to see if you problem was solved but no the only thing you get is a run around. So now I have called corporate and the only thing they can do is leave a note for Steve Marini to call me. To me this is POOR Customer Service and Definitely POOR LAWN CARE! Just received a call from Ted claims he is a supervisor. Told me he would be out to see the lawn. I said today he said no that it was raining! Told him it wasnt raining here said he would be out today. Please see the pictures of the lawn ! ******* More info..... Lawn was more weeds than grass. Neighbors used TruGreen and thought I would give them a try. I actually did start seeing results in just a few weeks. Being mostly weeds I didnt expect noticeable results so soon. After a couple applications I was concerned about a particular weed not being affected by treatments. I called, a tech came within a couple days to inspected and I got a free treatment specifically for that weed. Service Techs are Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! Would recommend to Everyone!

The lawn look so much better. I thought that it was too far gone to improve. Boy was I wrong and impressed with the results.

Paid for a full year of service. After three months not a single weed had died or any other changes to my lawn happened. I also bought plugs for the whole yard but after installing they only covered one third of the area. Tried for three months to get a manager to call back but never did.

I am unhappy about Jamie the supervisor who was non apologetic concerning his tech not doing the job hes being paid for. Doing my yard with headphones on. Its a very bad communication problem with TruGreen, so i dont know how many times Ive been cheated on service from TruGreen but i do know of one because i saw this on camera.

I am hopeful the mosquito problem has been taken care of, you could have put a saddle on those little beasts...since treatment it has been a pleasure to let dog out into yard...they arent waiting for you 24/7 . We shall see about the other treatments since they were only done this past week

My guy that came out this time seems very knowledgeable. Hopefully after 4 months of having your service maybe I can get my weeds taken care of

Had great experience and great results from trugreen especially when frank carini came out to treat my lawn with 1 application turned my weed infested lawn in to what looked like a new lawn with in 4 weeks almost all the weeds where gone... Higly recommended

Horrible company and service.. requested a quote online, next thing I know I have some random person showing up at my house at 7pm unannounced. Gave the service a shot and completely destroyed my yard that was freshly sodded. Requested for them to hold off service so that I could be home, completely went against my wishes. First treatment they didnt even spray the whole yard. Recieved 2 calls now over the last month stating they will be spraying on a certain day and after spending hours sitting at home waiting they were no shows both times. I am dropping their service and do not reccomend them to anyone.
