After our Landscaping/Japanese Gardner retired in 2020, we were looking for someone to replace him. We found Sprout Landscaping and have been very satisfied with the landscaping services they provide. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a company to maintain their lawns and flower beds.

Scam artists. They didnt fulfill what they said theyd do. Poor workmanship and tried to bill us extra when we cancelled! Honestly feels like their team has gone out of their way to give us a bad experience.

Danielle and Dayo did an excellent job of overseeding and top dressing our front yard, taking care not to get the grass seed into the flower beds. They also took note of what areas of the lawn needed the most top dressing. I have ordered the chafer beetle control program again for the summer.

Promised 2 to 10 business day for aeration and seeding for price of $250 , and I request code for spring clean up before arriving for the job , exactly after 9 days I received an email at 5 pm that the crew coming tomorrow for the job and they gave me an option of 48 hours for cancelation ?? How can I cancel if I receive the email a night before , after business hours , I emailed right away also called too asked what about the code for spring clean up ? Anyway they showed up in my house two weeks later which is the job was already done by another contractor, my wife did not let them in my property, and next I received an invoice for $89 dollar called several times and asked the project was $250 how come I have been charged only $89 after several phone calls they emailed that is for Moss control , really?? What about aeration and seeding? Bye the way I have dog and lock gate how did you get for application (moss control) and after that they keep sending me invoice with (10 percent late charge) penalty. They are not a member of Better business bureau, I had to file complaints through city cuz Lucas tread me he will put a lean in my house over $89 . Please be careful before contacting this business , worse costumer service , and scammers they don t even answer your phone call , Regards.

We had our lawn renovated after it was damaged by crows. Better than expected results after a few weeks of growth.

They are absolutely unprofessional with there customer service aspect and won t allow me to speak to the general manager. I had one service done which is they came to cut the grass. They did not cut the grass properly and there are pictures to show how they missed sections of the grass. Multiple times they were asked to fix it and the person who cut it was also asked to fix it but refused to do so simply because he put the lawnmower back in the truck. The company is awful to deal with when they refuse to take accountability and refuse to allow me to speak to the general manager. I was threatened for a legal suit when they refuse to let me even discuss the matter. There s receptionist who say one thing but then never hear from them again. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They can t guarantee the contract and play games but demand money when they have not done the work.

Even though I paid the first year I realized they did my neighbors lawn instead of mine lol. Second year they did mine for free. 3rd year they claimed they didnt charge me enough because my lawn was bigger than evaluated and also doubled the service because of covid. Comical service and communication was awful. Told them to never email again. Absolutely poor service!!!!

Spring aerating and fertilizing was done in a very timely manner, and all happened very wrinkly. We will have the team back in the fall for autumn lawn service.

I initially called Sprout in response to a flyer to sign up for a seasonal lawn maintenance program. Since then I have experienced very friendly , honest and professional services. If I ever have a concern, they are right on it and always seem to care about making me happy. I found all the staff very personable and so willing to help. My lawn also looks so much better. Mostly I want to recommend them as a landscape company who really cares and is honest and responsive. HATS off to SPROUT!

I have been using Sprout for 4 years now, generally for the basics, and have always been very happy with their service. Their staff is always very friendly, polite, reliable and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they send an email reminding me of an upcoming service appointment and always have responded promptly to any of my inquiries by email or phone call. Last fall they did a full landscaping project and I felt they went beyond what they promised to do. I have had many neighbours comment on the quality of the job. We have renewed the Sprout Full Season Program service for the third year running. After trying several other landscape service companies over the years, discovering Sprout and its services was enlightening. They have given us the best lawn we have ever had. In the over 20 years we have lived on our property, and used the services of several landscaping companies, we have not had as beautiful and lush lawn as what Sprout gave us. I would highly recommend them and their service. You will not be disappointed.

We stopped using Sprout for lawn cutting due to inconsistent standards and timekeeping. They seem to have a constant turnover of personnel. Used Sprout for spring lawn prep this year - great job, but then they go and spoil it by not requesting payment until June and slapping a late fee on.

STAY AWAY. I am writing this on behalf of an upset relative. They took forever in responding to first contact 5 days My relative went in another direction with another landscaper. When Lukas was told this he panicked and sent a person over to do the work. My relative told him not too. Lukas did anyway without an approval. My relative never got an estimate or okayed the work by SPROUT. When they arrived they were told to go away, which they did. Lukas then proceeded to bill and harass my relative. Phones email etc. It is actually a small amount. But the principle. You have been warned about this guy. Now when I see the BBB, yelp and bad google reviews. I see why.

I have used Sprout for a number of years for lawn services including: aerating, lime, moss control, fertilizing, chafer beetle treatment and have always received courteous and efficient service at a reasonable cost.

Sprout has been servicing our lawn (aerate, moss kill, fertilizer, over-seed, etc.) for several years now and the results have been excellent. I had tried several other companies before settling on Sprout. I get a lot of positive comments from neighbors. Sprouts high quality products provide excellent results; even the grass under the cedar trees is thriving. We plan to renew for 2021.

I have been using Sprouts for several years now. The work is always impeccable. They were very successful at dealing with our pest issues. Our grass has never looked better. Lukas is extremely professional to deal with and I would recommend their services to everyone.

Sprout continues to help us with ongoing lawn maintenance and mowing. Their crew are professional, reliable and do a good job. We especially like that they send email reminders in advance of every service. On occasion we need to increase the frequency of our service and they are quick to make the needed adjustments to our schedule. Our neighbourhood has a dreadful problem with chaffer beetle and as a result we replaced our sod twice until we arranged for Sprout treat our lawn yearly to ensure that that the beetles/grubs dont come back. Thank you to Daryl and the crew at Sprout!

I have used Sprout for both my business property and home property with outstanding results. The grass is nearly weed free and lush and green. Chaffer Beetles have not been a problem for the last 3 years since I started the program on both properties. Great service, great products and great people. I would give them 6 stars!

Agreed to a Fall Package for their promotional price as discussed on the phone. We agreed to have the job done and 3 weeks later they show up, gone on 15 minutes and do not do the back yard. Call them and mention the back was not done and they claim the quote was only for the front yard. This was a surprise to us and they would not admit that they were wrong and would come back and do the back yard for an additional charge of $30.. Be careful when you book and be sure to itemize the job. Had them 7 years ago and should never have gotten sucked in again. BEWARE

This was our 4th season using Sprout for the lawns. We tried their gardening services for the first time this fall, our only regret is that we didn t do this sooner, the landscape has never looked better.

All of the Sprout Landscapes staff are courteous and know their jobs. We are always provided with the best of service and I would heartily recommend them as your choice for gardening services. 2019 is my 3rd year in a row for using them. Their identification of the Chafer Beetle spraying was a real lawn saver. Now my lawn is one of the few that have not been affected and I am repeating this specific spraying service once again this year!

I have used Sprout for my regular lawn maintenance for many years. They have done a wonderful job for me. They responded immediately the few times I expressed any concerns about a particular service and insured that all was done to my requirements afterwards. The work is done on schedule - or if a change occurs they notify me in advance. The regular year-round mainenance results in many compliments on the condition of my lawn!

We met the Sprout team at the home and garden show and we impressed by their knowledge and the variety of services available. We hired them to revitalize our grass and they did a fantastic job and will seek them out again for their maintenance services. Thank you!

We ordered a spring package informing them that we would be leaving for a trip in a couple of weeks and the gate to our backyard would be locked. I phoned them three times to remind them. The work on the front was completed as agreed but only a portion of the work was done in the back. We are now being billed for the total amount. They had a couple of weeks to organize the work. They are not organized and have very poor service.

Similar to other reviews here. The issue was with the timeline and follow through on booked dates. Original work(aeration and overseeding) was confirmed to be completed in the next 2-10 business days from 04/10/19. The service visit didnt occur until 05/01/19 after multiple inquiries. Furthermore Aeration was the only work done. After followup emails, it was stated that I wasnt booked for seeding, even though that was the service discussion all along. And the reasoning for no followup on the the service was the ground temperatures were not suitable. Thats logical to me but there was no communication on the delay or a request for a service date change. On the 05/08/19 service was promised for the next week. Today I have sent a cancellation request to Sprout as I have not heard or seen anyone. I have chosen to go with another provider.... hopefully I have better luck.

I wish Id looked on BBB before hiring Sprout - I can see that my experience was very similar to others. The quality of their work was horrible. After paying over $400 to have them add soil and patch our lawn (which they did a poor job of, and resulted in large areas of our lawn that we had to reseed ourselves) they then proceeded to do one of the worst mowing jobs Ive ever seen. Half the grass was left uncut, large clumps of grass were left behind, and grass was blown all over our patio - covering our furniture and barbecue. To add insult to injury, they then dumped all the lawn clippings in our green bins, rather than hauling them away (as they had with the first two cuts of our lawn). However, it was when we complained about the horrible job that things got really bad. The responses back were to tell us we didnt know what we were talking about, that they have an 86% approval rating and that they launched an internal investigation - which of course did not include actually coming out and seeing the job that was done. Despite our numerous complaints, Lukas informed us that he had instructed the mowers to do it that way for the benefit of our lawn and the reseeding - despite the area of the lawn that was highest was no where near the reseeding area. He then justified using our green bin by saying we had to pay extra to have them take the grass away, and that we should have known that (despite them having taken it away the first two times they cut the lawn). Poor work that is fixed I can except once in awhile - poor work that is repeatedly justified, with the customers being told that they are wrong, I cannot. We have now had to spend more money to reseed the areas of our lawn that are barren, and hired a new company that has been 100X more responsive, polite and professional. DO NOT USE SPROUT - There are too many good alternatives out there, that know the meaning of good customer service, for you to waste your time and energy on Sprout and their horrible customer service.

It took in excess of five weeks , and innumerable follow up emails/calls, for Sprout to complete a standard spring lawn service ....and then a further three months for the owner to connect with me to discuss my concerns. Had Sprout advised me when arranging for the service that it would take 5 weeks (versus the 2-10 days they lead you to believe when booking) I would have gone elsewhere. The responsiveness and punctuality of this company are below average, communication below average, pricing is average and the quality of the work average /below average. I would not recommend.

Here is all the fact, you make the judgement. We picked sprout flyer from mailbox two months ago and it seemed that they offered services we need. So called them on April 3rd to make appointment for spring green up package. Sounds very nice and said will come in 2 to 10 days. Went to pick up some flowers and fruit trees and waiting for sprout to come. waited all the way to 17th, made phone call to them since already passed the time they promised. On the phone, the guy say I cannot find your account or file, after some search, he finally did find us, then he said 2 to 10 days is not a guarantee, but I can put you on our urgent list, we might make it this week. Ok, fine! On April 20th, Friday, still no sign of them, so I called again, the guy goes: we are still on schedule, since all the spring package would be finish by May 2nd. You r still on our urgent list, might make it next week. Excuse me, but the window for deep core aeration has past now. Next frustrating call made on 25th since still no news from them, guy on the phone: we probably will make it this week or early next week. WE ARE ON SCHEDULE to finish all the spring package by may 2nd. April 30th, received their email about a service reminder on may 1st, tried to call them and left message to ask when they will do the service with no reply. We came back home around 3:30 and found that the grass has been cut but nothing else has been done, where is the spring package??? I called right away and the guy asked me on the phone: is there any concern? I actually had nothing to say for few seconds! Are you really serious? Is this a joke? After one month of waiting, no service can be delivered, and asking me what s the problem? Of course he insisted that they are always busy, always on schedule, he never said may 2nd is the deadline for spring package, 2to 10 days is not a guarantee, blablabla. I am surprised that this company send out flyers and don t do the service and can still exist. Anyway, above is all my honest experience with sprout. Good luck if you want to give them a try.

My experience echos Wang Denny. I called to set up the green-up package on April 19th. I was told that they would come to complete the service within 2-10 business days. Im waiting for the lawn service to be completed before I work on other projects in my backyard. The longer they take the more inconvenience it is for me, the customer. I receive a call on April 27th asking what service I had ordered because for some reason they lost that information. I was told they would come the following week to complete the service. Well that week passed with no confirmation email and no service. Here I sit coming up on 3 weeks since my order date and no service completed. The fact of the matter is that my money deserves to go to a company that will follow through on their promises and fulfills expectations. Sorry sprout, you have lost a potential long term customer. I am going with the other guys.

Weeks later and this still has not been resolved. I have asked repeatedly that they honor their word and finish their work or at the very least come to site to meet me and look at the property and discuss this. They still refuse to do either. I ended up getting charged for service they never performed. When I approached them about this they denied it and yet continued to charge my credit card even after I had clearly asked them to destroy my information. This company is not to be trusted and I am now stuck trying to recoup money from my credit card company because of this companies dishonest practices. Very disappointing!

If I could give less than one star I would. The amount of top soil used was minimal, the grass seed never sprouted and when I called to ask about it the agent on the phone essentially did not respond. I do not recommend this company
