They came quickly to review the scope and offered incredible advice on what to prioritize while keeping an eye on keeping costs low. They followed up quickly (again) with a reasonable quote and when the appointment date came, an incredibly friendly team arrived and didnt leave until they knew we were satisfied with their work. Very happy with the results.

Very positive experience with this company for a garden spring clean up. Prompt response to our quote request, on site visit by Riley who carefully listened to what we wanted, and took videos of the work to be done. We were actually booked for the following day, and Sonny and Spencer did everything we asked for thoroughly and professionally. They did a walk through at the end of the job to make sure we were satisfied, and they cleaned all the garden debris and took it away. Vancouver garden box did a great job on a major hedge replacement project for our home. They were thoughtful in suggestions and getting the best pricing for the various hedge types. Most importantly they did a great job executing the project, working through tough weather conditions to get it done in a short time period. When a minor item was slightly off scope they also came back and fixed it at no charge.

A very positive experience with Sonny, Nate, and Spencer, renovating 4 lawns in and around our CoOp on Barclay Street. Very considerate, not just of the residents, but also the robins and their chicks nesting in the rhododendron bush above one of the lawns. We had our tree fence replaced by Vancouver GardenBox recently, the communication with Riley was smooth and straightforward, they were responsive, often replied within an hour. There were some misunderstanding with appointment time and where we wanted the tree line to end, but they were all resolved quickly, professionally with friendliness. The workers coming to our place are also friendly, respectful, efficient in getting tasks done and offered to do some extra works like removing blackberry tree and clipping overgrown raspberry plant cause there were some allocated time left. I used them to plant/design my garden. They seeded the grass, laid down mulch , planted shrubs. The work was great. My neighbour ended up using them as well. Really nice guys.

This is the way they leave the sidewalk. congested and cluttered with tripping hazards and power tools leaking oil and fuel into the environment. I confronted the 2 guys working saying you shouldnt leave the sidewalk like that especially when its open to the public and they just laughed at me. I then explained tripping hazards etc and liability if someone was to be injured. They just laughed again and told me to keep walking. Very unprofessional, as working in public areas means you shut down the publics access or maintain a clean environment to help mitigate any injuries and or hazards that could incur due to your mess. If I was an elderly person, a less abled person or even a dad walking his kids. I hope that these 2 terrible employees would not talk to me in this tone, manner, not laugh and clean the debris and clutter before I passed and apologize for their neglegence. If they had of done that I would not have to write this review. Definitely back garden company. You dont want them in front of your house!!!!

Less than 48 hours after my initial phone call to Vancouver GardenBox I had a beautiful custom-built 6 foot x 3 foot raised vegetable garden carefully installed, anchored, and filled with high quality soil. Riley Gallant is responsive, organized, extremely professional and is a skilled gardener himself, so that makes a big difference. He accommodated my special requests like an organic eco-preservative for the wood, and made thoughtful recommendations for size, placement, and weed management. The whole project cost less than it would to do it myself. I highly recommend Riley and the Vancouver GardenBox team for any large or small scale garden projects.

Riley from Vancouver GardenBox is excellent. He is very responsive, very knowledgeable and prompt in his responses. He built for us 4 garden boxes filled with vegetable soil. - 2 boxes @ 6x4x2 - 2 boxes @ 4x4x2 The work was completed within a day, measured, cut and levelled onto the ground and filled with soil. And he was friendly and cheerful on a hot summers day. We will definitely use him again and will not hesitate to recommend him to any one who needs his services.

This is a great option for any garden or landscaping project. We had a variety of things on our list (planting new sod, taking out dead trees and replanting new ones, rock wall feature) and they did it all with are and precision.
