HONEST. I have used JP Stone in the past. They do great work. Last week I had John Stone come out to discuss some new water feature maintenance concerns. When I told him what I thought I needed, he made it super clear that I probably did NOT need this work, and if I hired him to do it, I might well be spending money I didn't need to spend. In the nicest possible way, he INSISTED that I understand this. It wasn't that he didn't want the work--he's busy because his work is so good, and because the customer service is so great, but did share with me that he would definitely like more jobs (he runs a business, after all). Nor did he say this because it's summer, his busy season, since I told him I can easily wait until late fall. He said it because, simply put, he’s honest. Way to go, John Stone! I wish every contractor I have hired over the years had your construction skills and your design smarts and, especially, your INTEGRITY.
