Bill at Southern Roots Tree service took down a very large oak damaged from hurricane Milton. The tree is very close to my home. From the communication from the office, hearing from Bill and his entire crew, it was a well oiled machine for sure! They did an amazing job from the beginning to the end, including cleaning up and blowing the area. They are the best for sure!!

I can t say enough good things about Southern Roots! Every step of the process from the first call to the clean up was more than we could have hoped for. Bill and every member of his team were extremely knowledgeable, professional, hard working and courteous. They are engineers of the highest caliber. Not only did they do the work we hired them to do, but they did a better job than we thought possible. It was a big job, but they fit us into their schedule within hours of first contact because it was likely some trees would fall in the upcoming hurricane. One of the trees they removed was in a hard to reach spot in the backyard, over 30 feet high, 3 feet from the fence and 12 feet from the house. We expected some damage because of the tight space, but they dropped every piece, with laser precision, exactly where it was safe to do so. We expected to be left with tree stumps a couple feet high, but they got them right down to the ground. The clean up was so good, you can barely tell they were here. They even cleaned up our front yard, all the way from the front door, before they left. We can t wait to have them back to do some other landscaping projects in the future. Thank you, Southern Roots. I called for an estimate and William came the next day. Very polite and informative. They were able to complete the job within a few days. They did a great job. William even sent me pictures when they were finished before they left incase anything was needed. Highly recommend.

Five stars is an understatement. Bill and his crew removed a standing dead palm, trimmed a palm, and trimmed one of my oak trees - and I couldnt be happier with the customer experience or the results. When Bill came out for the estimate he was incredibly receptive to my input while providing me great insight and information based on his (clearly) considerable experience. Come job day I knew exactly what was going on, and he checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the direction he was taking. I reached out on the Valrico Facebook page for a tree trimmer and Bill Russell came back to me with the most professional IM of the 25 I received. He was able to come by and look at 3 trees. We worked out a cash price. Then I texted him and he called me. We only wanted 1 tree trimmed as we have other projects going on and needed to save some money. So we the bargained for a new cash price. He and his son Austin came by on a Saturday. They were here about 2hrs. Professional, Courteous, Personable and Great Communication. Took out half a tree that was leaning over my house, I wouldnt trust half of the other guys who showed up for quotes when they finally showed up. Bill assured me it wouldnt be a problem and took care of everything. His team did a great job for the second time. The first time a year ago I had spoken to him about trimming an oak I had that was always dropping so many leaves and low hanging. He took care of it and the tree is now healthy and still looking great. This year Im going to ask him about hanging my Christmas decorations too, its not worth slipping.

Good work is hard to find nowadays, and this company is a good one! Bill is a very knowledgeable professional in his field. I needed someone to remove a thick tree vine and he got the job done quickly, and carefully. I will be using him for all my future landscaping needs.

My neighbor and I called Southern Roots about a 60 laurel we were concerned about as it was leaning and rotting in the middle. Bill (the owner) came out that day and wanted to take it out ASAP, as tropical storm Idalia was projected to pass close enough to bring some winds. He called some of his other customers and was able to move other trimming jobs that were not urgent. They got the tree out in a day and came back the next day to trim another tree that had limbs over the power supply. We will have them back when we get ready to trim the other trees on our property.

I can t say enough great things about this company!! I reached out on a a Sunday for an estimate and the owner came out within hours. We had a huge tree and two palms. He quoted a great price for the size of the trees. His crew came the next week at the scheduled day/time and had them all down in two hours!!! There were obstacles for them to maneuver around and they did it with no issues. His crew was friendly and extremely hard workers. I recommended them to our neighbor and they are now getting a tree cut down by them as well. Hands down if you need tree services, stop looking and contact Southern Roots.

We hired Southern Roots Tree and Landscape to trim one tree and remove a second tree. Upon inspection, they noticed that the tree to be trimmed had damage and had a certified arborist inspect it. It was determined that the tree needed to be removed. They completed the job on time and within budget and completed a full clean up afterward. The team was extremely nice and professional. We are extremely pleased with Southern Roots and would highly recommend them for tree service.

Southern Roots did an exceptional job today with our massive oak tree! It needed major trimming! They were able to not only cut the largest branches I ve honestly ever seen, but do so safely!
