L&J started mowing my lawn several months ago. They do a fine job. Speedy! I asked Eddie to do some landscape work. They just finished. All day yesterday and a 30-minute cleanup today. They did a great job. Great workers. Great service. Thanks Eddie.
Great service. Eddy really helped us out when we needed landscaping and clean up. Based on his great job we used him for Lawn Maintenance for our 1.7 acre home and property.
We used L & J to hang Christmas lights on our home! Eddie and his team did an excellent job! They are very friendly. Their workmanship is top notch! They care about what they do which means a lot these days. I will be calling on L & J next spring for a yard cleanup and again next fall! They are trustworthy and have fair pricing.
We used L&J to bury downspouts, install aluminum edging around the landscaped areas, and install mulch. Eddie came out right away for an estimate and was great to work with throughout the entire process. Eddie and his crew did an excellent job, and made sure to clean up their mess when the job was complete. I had one pop-up that I felt was a little too high (noticed after his crew had left), so Eddie came and corrected it the following day. Fair price, great work, and outstanding customer service. These qualities are very hard to find around the Valpo area. Highly recommend!
We used L & J at my office to refresh some very overgrown and neglected landscaping. They removed old mulch, moved some existing plants, added river rock and some beautiful edging pavers. They did an amazing job and were very hardworking and friendly.
We hired L&J Landscaping about 2 years ago to maintain our lawn, do snow removal, some weeding and recently installed decorative rock and edging along one side of our home. L & J Lawn Care has been mowing my lawn for 2 years now. They also shovel snow and have been shoveling my snow. I am very impressed with their service. They are timely, reliable, and do a great job. It feels good to see a freshly cut lawn. I have bad allergies so I really appreciate their service. I highly recommend them.
We needed lawn service ASAP, and these guys showed up immediately to tackle a uncut lawn after we had three no shows or no calls backs from highly reputable places (Nature Cuts had a nice secretary, but we never got a call back or a visit from them). But one phone call to L and J and they were there at our property ready first thing the following morning. They were fast and did a fantastic job. They tackled an overgrown lawn in less than 40 minutes and made sure to get every area on our large property. Really impressed with their speediness, detailing, and above all, their professionalism. Highly recommend them. Pricing was fair as well.
Reliable, great service!
There was a time when L&J had a stellar lawn service. That time has passed. We sang their praises several years ago and that was well deserved AT THAT TIME. No more. To be fair, the nature of lawn care services attracts those who are willing to work either intermittently or seasonally. Unfortunately, everyone must eat so those workers more often than not will find other (steady) employment that they can count on. So, when Spring comes around, the customers are at the mercy of whoever the newest batch of workers happen to be. What a disaster that turned out to be. We had landscape lights destroyed. Landscape paver tiles chipped, broken and cracked. Whole areas of the yard not mowed while other sections trenched out by the lawnmowers wherls (grass torn out by the roots). I could go on further, but you get the gist of the mess. We have given this company almost the whole Spring/Summer seasom to correct and restore our yard. We called the owner of L&J. REPEATEDLY!! He has answered the phone maybe once. Voice mails go unanswered. Text messages get no response. We know he received our text messages because when we texted that his services were terminated, he called back almost instantly. Much to our relief we found another lawn service to finish out the season with zero problems.

Eddie and his team are fabulous!! They arrive on time and are actually happy when they arrive. Theyve done a bunch of things for us; like spring and fall cleanups and snow removal as well as lawn care and mulching, even weed pulling!! They are polite and very kind which means a lot in this day and age! I would highly recommend them.

I called L and J Lawn Care for a quote on sod and weed removal along the back of my fence line and installing mulch in its place. Eddie came out the next day and gave me a quote and completed the work 2 weeks later. I couldn t be happier with the quality and care taken to improve the back of my property. Im a big fan of these guys. Ive been engaged in a four-phase project to clean out and refurbish the flower beds that surround my house and property. Eddie just finished Phase Three and I couldnt be happier with the results. Next year, Im definitely bringing him back to complete Phase Four! UPDATE: Eddie and his crew just finished Phase 6 of my multi-year landscaping project, and once again their work was fast, professional and meticulous. Two thumbs up!

I can t imagine why anyone would give them anything less than 5 stars! Eddie (owner) is very responsible. Even though he is very busy he answers his texts!!! He and his crew of 3 came when they said they would and got to work. It s been a long time since I saw 4 people working so hard and still smiling! They edged, trimmed trees and bushes, plus pulled weeds! All the work was done perfectly and all the mess was cleaned up perfectly as well!!! We could not be happier!!! They were Amazing!!!
Do not use this place. They tried ripping me off plowing at an 1 and half!!! Twice this happened and finally on January 23rd 2022 we get enough snow and he didnt plow. We called and he said not enough snow!!! He punished us...by not plowing and my husband has helath issues. I stead of letting us know he punished us at the ladt minute!!! Jerks they are and turning them in to Better Business too!!! So unprofessional..shame on you!!!!!
These guys are punctual,quick,and professional. Theyre reasonably priced,cut,weed whipped,and leaf blew my whole yard in 20 min. and it looks great they have pictures on their website.L&J lawn care LLC try these guys out.Theyre obscured,underrated, and deserve a spotlight.

Eddie and his crew are dependable and do a great job; the lawn-cutting, leaf-removal, and snow-removal services are well-done and reasonably-priced.
I called this morning for an extensive weeding job on a heavily landscaped lot. They went to my home, called with a reasonable bid and got to work. Since we are currently in another state, they took a video of all of their work and sent it to me upon completion. I am one of those picky people and I could not have asked for a better job. Coming from me that says a lot.
