Erica and George are the wonderful people who own Horses. They are creative perfectionists who use only the highest quality products installed with care and top-class workmanship. The customer is their focus and they strive to exceed expectations. All of this was evident as they transformed our old house in the Banta neighborhood with a beautiful, eye-popping installation.
First time visiting this nursery. Wife & I drove from Hammond. Worth the trip. Large selection of outdoor plants. Had what we wanted to purchase. Will definitely be back. Friendly & knowledgeable staff.

I drove by this place for years but never stopped in. That was a mistake on my part. Very helpful staff, friendly, knowledgeable, good variety of plants and well laid out. I love this place! PS I am enjoying my pig lol
I had two 17 foot arborvitae fall during a wind storm. Horses was the only company that I could find that agreed to lift the arborvitae into place and stake them so that they could survive. They were there within a day of assessing the damage. I could not have replaced trees of that size. Excellent job. Thanks George!

We went to Horses to look at plants for a new planting area we were planning. Erica took our drawing of the space, asked us which season was our favorite so she could choose plants/trees/shrubs accordingly. She plotted all of the items on the drawing asking preferences all the way through. She then took us through the nursery to choose items. This is stellar customer service! The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Horses!

What I was quoted for job is not what I was charged. When job was finally completed an extra 2000.00 was added saying this is all extras. What was to be done in 3 days was drawn out almost 2 weeks. Always an excuse. Owner was very argumentative. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Would not recommend them! Paid thousands of dollars to only get an unfinished yard with many dying or dead plants! If you re lyooking for a landscaper who takes the time to listen and to follow through in a timely manor they are not someone you want to deal with!

Creative walkable garden center, a park like setting filled with ideas as well as plants and garden statues/pots/fountains etc for sale.
The owner charged me a $55 fee to give an estimate on stone, cashed the check a week ago and I have yet to receive the estimate after 2 1/2 weeks. Beware!
Abysmal. First they ignored me, then they lied to me, and they refused to honor the warranty I paid for.
