TruGreen Lawn Care in Vadnais Heights

I was a customer of TruGreen for 3 seasons in Minnesota. I had to cancel my services the year we had a very bad drought because my sprinkler system sadly broke. I was always happy with the product TruGreen provided. BUT if you cancel your services be prepared to be harassed to no end I get calls from TruGreen Sales representatives from ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. I politely tell them to stop calling me and that I would contact them when I am ready to resume my lawn care services I understand they re just trying to make a living but 3 calls in one day from 3 different individuals. My favorite is when you tell them you re not interested and they roll right into their pitch anyway! I will no longer be a customer solely because of the constant harassment. After telling Sales guys that I like the product I will be a customer again but I will call when I am ready to resume them. I will now support local small businesses. Because at the end of the day all it is is pre-emergent and nitrogen. Good job TruGreen your tenacity lost you a customer! *Update* I was contacted by TruGreen customer service. They left a nice voicemail apologizing for the amount of cold calls and added me to the do not call list. Impressed at the speed that they made this happen less than 24 hours after me posting this review. Thank you Nicole!

The gentleman that was out today was different than we usually have. He was equally as professional and friendly and appeared knowledgeable.

Terrible! Rolled over the payment plan from the summer before! Came while I wasn t home and sprayed the neighbors natural landscaping as well. When we first had them come, they were supposed to get rid of crab grass in the front yard and instead they spread it worse.

I use their app and yet every time theres billing problems and I have to spend 45 minutes on the phone to pay my bill. Actual results are ok but customer service has been terrible. Very upset.

Every single time one of their technicians drives through our neighborhood, they drive like maniacs exceeding the speed limit. We used to use this company until we paid for an entire season and then they wouldn t show up. When we called to find out why, there was no sorry, they just said they didn t have the people. As a former Business owner, if you don t have the people you don t take on the business.

The lawn specialist was very polite, on time and professional. His name was Jeffery G. The last specialist was Jace S and was great as well. Ive never had any problems with TruGreen.

We use TruGreen for our lawn, shrubs, and for mosquito and pest control. GREAT improvement in all areas!!

My wife signed up for trugreen to save me the trouble of doing it myself...first two years were great..technicians were great no problems...starting last fall noticed a drop in quality and service....this summer ..first treatment was great..this last treatment the tech just used fertilizer..I asked about the weed killer as this is when they start to kick in..he told me some mumbo jumbo about not using the hose liquid treatment saying the higher ups dont want them using it. I sent a chat to corporate to say what happened..he shows up again saying he was going to spot check for weeds....said it would be eaier to hose the weed and feed..told me the same thing again..no too confident about that asked if it would kill the lawn he said he didnt know

The seasonal program is straight-forward and you can modify it as you prefer, billing is automatic, technicians do a good job and follow environmentally-sound practices, and my grass looks healthy.

He is always polite and informs me of what he is doing.

Got a package to take full care of lawn. i noticed after first 2 aplications the technician wasnt getting the edges of the lawn so i cancelled the service. they said they can send another person out but i shouldnt have to call and request they do it right. shows they dont care about the details or doing it right, just getting it done quick. After i cancelled the company started actually trying to point out issues with the lawn.. why werent these brought to my attention during the services and dealt with while i was paying them? i was quoted a refund for the remaining services but they would not actually send the refund. held onto my money even though they said they would send within 2 weeks. its almost a month now and after a few calls, i am finally getting my refund... except its less than they said even though i have email proof. i shouldnt have even paid for the first few applications since they didnt do it right. terrible experience and dont recommend anyone try it. ill try a more local company and warn neighbors about this one.

A sales person from TruGreen took a leaf that had galls on it off of one of our trees and wrapped it in a note and placed it in our door. The note said our tree was going to die and to call her. She then called and told me our tree has gall disease and told me about how they would treat it. I thanked her for the information and told her I would look into it. She proceeded to tell me about how it is a big shade tree that I wouldnt want to die and told me again about how their treatment would protect it from dying. It was difficult for me to get off of the phone will her and she was very insistent about me paying them continuously to treat the tree every month. I eventually was able to get off the phone and typed in gall disease in trees into Google. I couldnt find anything called gall disease but all of the pages in Google talk about how galls look more dramatic then they are harmful and typically they resolve on their own and typically are not harmful to the tree. The sales person called me the next day and I let her know what I found on Google, but it was again a very uncomfortable conversation with her. It was difficult for me to get off the phone and she continued to push about how I need to pay them monthly to treat the tree.

Very good service. Their mosquito treatment is the best you can get. Make sure to check that gates were closed if you have dogs.

Had a message that they were on their way at 1:37. 2hrs. Later no one had come. With two dogs it isnt easy keeping them in for long periods of time. They came by 4. Timing should be more precise. Happened in May also. Andrew did a great job but lawn will not be available for awhile.

Wondering if this branch still exists? I have been a TruGreen customer for 3 years but this is the first year no one showed up. When I logged into my account, it shows no services. When I try to add services, it doesnt show me basic weed/fertilizer options - only pest control. Ive tried calling the service numbers, the chat bot, etc. - but get no where. Hoping this message reaches the owners if they are still in business.

You don t really know what gets sprayed into your yard or see because they re so in and out quickly but I trust and hope that whatever it is it will make my yard green! Thank you Jacob R!

I live next door to a customer of Trugreen chemlawn service. Their fertilizer and chemical sprays are often sloppy and overspray and excess product is all over the sidewalk and in my yard, often in my garden and onto my kids bikes. I was once working in my back yard and felt a most, only to discover they were spraying the neighbors scotch pine and it was wetting me! Also, they leave their trucks idling while they apply their product, which is annoying and irresponsible. Im annoyed just being customer-adjacent to Trugreen.

MacKenzie was very professional and courteous as was the young man helping her. I feel confident that this season will be weed free and my grass will thrive. Very pleased with the service today!

I received advertising from them in my mail. I told them we didnt want it and that the area we live in has lawns handled already by the HOA/park. The rep whined and complained. I explained that there are thousands of acres in my state where they could use the service but not my community

The reps who deliver the service are good, but dealing with the office is just plain TERRIBLE. It takes forever to talk with someone and what I accomplished on three different calls never happened. They say that it is all set, and resolved and then it never happens!!! Then you start all over again, and you get nothing accomplished and there is no way for you to actually contact your local office who knows your situation and could handle things much better. They need some changes,

This company is a joke. I inquired online and was contacted via text. The representative asked if I would be able to talk and I said I would. She then stated shed call at x time, but she never did. She reached out via text again the following day and I said I could talk. She stated shed call at x time again. This time a call was placed and I answered. I was placed on hold to transfer the call to a rep. I waited and then gave up after 5 minutes of nothing. No wait music, no one stating that someone would be with me, no caller number x in line, nothing. I thought I had been cut off, so I hung up. I then text the lady back asking if it was the usual to be placed on hold with no follow up when trying to connect. The response I got was Thank you, you have been successfully unsubscribed from this campaign. What? Then I decided to look up the reviews and now Im glad I missed that bullet. Absolutely terrible customer service. Impossible to get a hold of. Why would anyone do business with a place that is unreachable? Ridiculous.

Tru-green came out treated my lawn for weed control and fertilized. I was concerned that my treatment would be washed away by the storm that evening and I was also not pleased that I didnt get notified that they were coming. I wrote a Google review that reflected these issues. Within a couple days Tru-green contacted me about the issues in the review and fixed the notification issue and assured me that the treatment only needed one hour to absorb into the ground. Im genuinely impressed with the customer service, value, and responsiveness of the Tru-green team and will continue to use them for my lawn-care needs.

We had a rough start with some of the early technicians. We complained to the office and made certain we were home to be assured the work they we to do was done. Now we have dependable and professional technicians who honestly and thoroughly perform the service. The lawn is looking so much better. The current service is outstanding.

Fertilization

Dont use their tree service. I got Emerald Ash borer treatment. It was due for reapplication and I have spent months trying to schedule the follow up treatment. Finally gave up and called a more reputable company only to find out my favorite tree has Emerald Ash borer and has had it for 1 to 2 years which should not have happened had they done the treatment correctly. And looking at the lawn and it is not looking that great either. Long time customer with major regrets. You cant talk to anyone local. Only National people who dont even know when there is snow on the ground or what Emeral Ash Borers even are.

Poor customer responsive. Fake advertising. Just want your money.

The workers sent to our home were very professional. Very impressive.

Areas of lawn where there was no weed improvement, ended up having to pull those after waiting to see if treatment would resolve the weeds. No changes in my lawn compared to the neighbors, who have only watered and cut their lawn.

If I could give 1 star I would. They charged me for a service, claimed they came to my house, and even left me a receipt in my mailbox describing the services they claimed they had performed when in reality they had actually completed all of the services on my neighbors lawn. When I called to complain and ask to have the issue resolved, all I was told was that well just send someone out to do it again. I asked how they would guarantee this wouldnt happen again, especially because we arent always home to make sure they actually do the service we are being charged for, and the womens response was well we cant guarantee that. What?! How can you run a company like this but not guarantee you will even do the service at the right address?! Not to mention, I couldnt even get a hold of the local agent who had signed me up for the service so I had to deal with a call center for this entire thing. Needless to say, I cancelled and would NOT recommend.

When did trugreen start outsourcing their call center?? Not happy with that. I will be searching for a new local company for next year. Had 1 application and I have weeds. Woman on the phone stated u only ha lve 14 days to request a reservice. Have used them for years and will be shopping around Disappointed. Do better trugreen!!

William came out and did the mosquito spray first time. Its been done in the backyard. This gentleman went up and beyond the courtesy, the understand the knowledge and even leaving a note knocking on my door. Totally awesome one satisfied customer. These people came out and sprayed our front and backyard. We are not a customer, never have been, and do not approve of the chemicals they use. We have contacted management and are waiting for a resolution to fix this. They have outsourced their calls to India and you can t speak to a helpful person to remedy this.

Asked for list of chemicals used in spray used on lawns. Was told that I should/could call the company. I DID! The company will not supply that info. Did Google search and the chemical ingredient GLYPHOSATE is on the list. This chemical is a known culprit for causing many CANCERS in both humans and our pets. Banned in many countries ... But Not The USA ! I KNOW...I HAVE THAT CANCER and it will take me out.

This is the first summer that Ive tried TruGreen, and overall they have been very unimpressive. The good and the bad: Good - The service techs in the trucks have been great. Very nice, happy to talk about the lawn. The app is pretty decent, and the people on the other end of the Chat function have been helpful. The Bad - They dont show up. Im currently at 6 weeks since their last application, and my lawn is pale and full of weeds. Ive reached out several times, had a service scheduled and then cancelled a few days later with no explanation. After reaching out again I have them scheduled for next week. In order to get all the scheduled applications on my lawn theyre going to have to start stacking them a couple weeks apart. They tell you if weeds are an issue that theyll come out at no charge to deal with them. Good luck. I believe I have reached out 4 times to complain about all the weeds still in my lawn, and I think once they came out to spray them. I would not recommend. Ill try a competitor next year.

9/8 application at Oak Shore Park in Hugo: signs are posted on one side of park. Cannot see the keep off signs from main entrance to the park. We do not want these chemicals on or in us. It does not feel good on skin. Please leave signs on all entrances. I will update the review when this has been done over the next few treatments. Thanks.

We have had the service for many years and were always satisfied. Then we had to take a break during COVID. Once we started up again the service is not the same, weeds are growing in the lawn when there should not be any. We even had a supervisor out and he indicated that this should be corrected was has never was. Will not renew subscription.

If you enjoy getting phone calls for new service as often as you get phone calls about your vehicle warranty you may want to call this company. If you dont want to be bothered by sales calls on the regular I would recommend not even calling TruGreen one time. I have been reasonably happy with the service I received at a rental property I owned and then sold, but the amount of phone calls I have received about signing up for service again has been negated by too many calls wanting me to start up service again. Even after I told them I sold the property they called again. One time I told them to lookup the new owner and call them. I even received a phone call after I told them not to call me and I would call them if I was interested in their service in the future. They called me just the other day again and I told them if they ever call me again I will NEVER use their services again. After I was finished telling them that, the guy said he was calling about my new property. I again told him I will never use their services again if they call me any more. Isnt that harassment if I have already told them to stop calling? If they call again I will have to look into a restraining order...

Trugreen is criminals, they will sell you products and not produce. They will charge your card unauthorized with out your approval. Check your bank statement for fraud. Facts, I can prove. What do you have to say trugreen? Beware of vandis heights mn location.

Nice being able to do most things on-line or through the app. Speaking with Jace when he came to do the first application was positive. He took the time to listen to me and walk around the property answering any questions I had.

Caught the tech only spraying about 10sqft. last year. Lawn still looked the same or worse then neighbors that did nothing. Auto renewed the next year without any notice. They just showed up while I was at work. Then charged my cc on file. Save time and money and get a better looking lawn going with anyone else.

I wanted to give TruGreen a chance even with all the negative reviews, but already I am feeling confused and irritated with the first treatment. A specialist named, Jason S, was suppose to come out and do an assessment on my home, but after watching footage from my surveillance camera he did absolutely NOTHING. I see his car pull up in front of my home, but never did he step out of the car OR was there any paperwork left on our door of what he did for our yard. There was no effort to look at our grass to see what could be done or any communication at all. How is he suppose to help fix our yard if he didnt even step out to even look at it? He didnt even take a look at the backyard. This is ridiculous. Im hoping the next treatments/sessions are good. If not then Ill make sure to let everyone know not to trust this company.

As much as I believe in the product, after 2 years of always having to call and complain in order to get someone to schedule our property, I am ready to move on. The product is good, the company is so poorly run, no one you talk to can ever tell you when someone in actually going to come out. They will add you to the schedule, but it does not happen.

Poor customer service. They never call you back. As far as treating your lawn, the technician came and left in one minute, the back and side of my yard was not completed. Technicians dont finish their work. My yard still show severe weed and crabgrass. My advice is not to use this company. Stay away.

Waiting to speak to a supervisor. Was told my complaint was escalated to the appropriate person and I would receive a phone call back. No call back. Called today to follow up and was told there is not a complaint under my phone number. I would like for a supervisor to call me regarding a service done on my yard in error.

The person that came to my mas house whom she is elderly and handicap. He was very rude to my ma. My ma is deaf and her speech is very slur and when she tried to talk to him he blew my ma off. Very disappointing with him and the company!

I tried them for 3 years. I only have my front lawn cared for as the back is fenced and I have dogs. The first year one of the technicians climbed over my fence and sprayed my backyard anyways. Because its so normal to climb a 4.5 ft fence. The second year they werent as bad, but there is always plenty of grab grass that comes through and thats the main reason I have a service. This year they completely burned out my lawn because they dont care what the weather is doing. My backyard that I only seed and water with 4 dogs looks 10x better than the yard they routinely treat. The date fake Trudy from Trugreen spams you thats when they are coming. Speaking of spam. They relentlessly call you to add services etc. Im an existing customer and I get at least 10 calls a month. They also knock on my door another 3-4. When you call them with a problem they created, instead of fixing the problem you are calling about they try to sell you yet more stuff. When I finally cancelled them I was on the phone with Elise who was completely rude, kept cutting me off and was trying to do anything she could to talk over me and not cancel my services. I really feel you would be better giving your money to a Nigerian prince or extending your cars warranty than giving it to these jackals. You will get less solicitation too.

TruGreen is horrible. They really dont know how to treat for weed control or fertilization. I tried them about 10 years ago at my old house and they never killed any weeds and my yard looked bad. Out of desperation tried them in my new house. Well these last 3 seasons they attempted to treat my lawn and it has more weeds and bare brown spots than when they started. Called to point out issues and their solution was provided free spray for weeds, nothing to actually fertilize the grass. well that just killed my grass now the weeds look even healthier. Next solution was someone would contact me next 48-72 hours to schedule appointment to analyze lawn and do soil sample. Still waiting nearly a week and no one called. So i cancelled and will never use again. Fool me once shame on you True Green. Fool me twice shame on me.

Wow! These guys really Go above and beyond.. I ordered two pallets of salt to be delivered. They came to deliver salt and offered to Clean out the storage shed so there was room to store the salt inside. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend. If You are looking for quality service these guys are it!!!!

Paid in April for the entire summer. First application wasnt until June. Large gaps between applications. Tried to bill me again for 2nd to last application. Never received the final spraying I payed for. Came back next year and said after I pay for five sprayings the last one would be free from last year. My lawn looks much better using another company that actually shows up when they re supposed to.

The customer service at TruGreen is terrible. They schedule service when not requested and then make you sit on hold for 20+ mins to try and cancel it. Move onto a locally owned company what knows how to answer the phone. Oh... and no you cant cancel online or via chat.. you have to talk to someone on the phone.

I signed up for services last year with the promise from the sales person that it they would take care of the Ground-ivy. The services did not effect it at all. Now, I learned that TruGreen Auto enrolls you for the following year despite me not signing a single document that reflects this as I added my service my phone and made a 1 time payment by phone. I call to cancel and there is a 3 hour hold. The hold message suggests using the chat on the app which refers you back to the phone number if you want to cancel. It s all impossible to find a phone number for the Vadnis Heights location and therefore you are stuck dealing with the National phone reps. I would not recommend Trugreen service to anyone.

First off they screwed up the call service and I would never get a call before they came out. After a year of treatments there was absolutely no difference in my yard in fact I think it got worse, so when they called this spring I asked them to cancel the service. Today I found out they came out and sprayed a weed preventer on my lawn after I already fertilized and over-seeded, so the weed preventer will likely prevent the germination of my freshly planted grass. So I called them to figure out what happened and I was informed there was a 3 hour wait to talk to a representative. Never use this company!! I also used them for mosquito preventer and this was also a poor quality product that made no difference. I used Weed Man in the past and was happy but I switched to TruGreen because they were about half the price. You get what you pay for!!!

Despite multiple requests and complaints, they continued to show up for weed control spraying unannounced. A simple notification for when you are going to spray would go a long way.

They havent been out when they said. The dates keep changing further out.

Used Trugreen for the last 3 years at my house in the cities and never had an issue. Built a house on a lot 6 times the size my old one, tried to use Trugreen due to my prior great service. BOY WAS I WRONG. Sales guy quoted me a price lower than my old place which I found odd. Questioned him repeatedly he told me I was getting a great deal turns out he quoted my lawn for 3000 sqft not 3 acres. First tech came to my house and let me know they wouldnt be able to complete service due to them only bringing enough material for quoted size. Attempts to correct this included 9+ phone calls over 3 weeks and hours on hold. Was finally told by a regional manager that the area manager would solve problem the next day, didnt recieve a call for two days and finally terminated my contract and the customer service person let me know I couldnt discuss my issues and concerns with a manager because trugreen doesnt do that still have yet to receive a call or explanation a month later. Wish I could give zero stars to this dumpster fire. Steer clear.

Many weeds in one area of my lawn. TruGreen sprayed last week, so Ill wait and see what happens to them.

Horrible service. On two occasions the specialist pulled hoses over my gutters causing damage. When I called to complain to the local service in Vadnais Heights MN, I was connected with a call center. They assured me that I would hear from the local manager. The only call I received was a call no notifying me of the next service call. We are done with this company. They have a business model that makes it impossible to talk with the people providing the service. This is a company owned by a private equity firm where customer service is of minimal concern. We are going to use a local company who answers the phone.

Generally TruGreen has been very useful for me. Their website is easy to manage when paying bills, theyre very helpful when it comes to customer care, and the difference in my yard shows proof of good work...1.5 year time frame... (Keep in mind I enjoy taking care of my yard, and spend lots of personal time perfecting it.) So the before and after isnt 100% them, but definitely worth the money. Very reasonable pricing as well. I gave 4 stars because one of their sales people called me excessively for weeks trying to sell some tree service. I dont like being pestered and trust me, I wouldnt bring it up if it wasnt VERY excessive. (Called over 10 times in a week.) Other than that. I enjoy them a lot!

TruGreen has proven time and time again that they can t perform the simple tasks they are paid for - WHEN THEY ACTUALLY DECIDE TO SHOW UP. They continually reschedule despite the fact they take care of other houses in our neighborhood. When you finally get someone on the phone they are rude and clueless. Glad to be done with these clown.

This is what a TruGreen lawn looks like. My backyard is a crabgrass nightmare, none of which was there when they started service in the spring. They showed up in June and then went completely off the radar. Finally showed up again mid-August after I called and wondered what happened to them. The damage is done, which is frustrating for what this cost me. I am beyond disappointed.

Horrible experience with trugreen this time around. Paid for 3 months and got one lawn application. Couldnt get any one to actually come out and try to kill some weeds. Customer service tried to sell irrigation service instead of addressing the weed problem. Seems like everyone wants to sell rather than help. Until theres some major changes I would definitely steer clear of this company.

A young girl (audra out of the Vadnais Heights office) I asked for her info, working for trugreen left her trash and dumped what looked like a strawberry shake at the end of my driveway, I was shocked and appalled.

I asked for a one time treatment for japanese beetles and was charged for a tree and shrub service. I asked for atomatic payments to be stopped and they werent.I called them and said not to do any treatment on my lawn in August as there was a drought and I couldnt water if I wanted to. If you get a treatment you have to water in 48 hours. They came in August and did a deluxe treatment and charged me double. They broke one of my solar lights and put a hole in my cloth hose. I didnt have it wound up because they werent supposed to be there.

I have been most pleased with all aspects of service with Tru Green. My lawn has never looked better since utilizing Tru Green for ten years.

We got notification they were on way out . They sent me notification service was done and put a flag in our front yard.. except they completely skipped our backyard, we were home and waiting back there. No one ever treated the lawn. Careful folks! They say you dont have to be home, but even when you are services arent completed! Scam!

A tech was scheduled to come onsite to give a quote but never showed. I called numerous times over a 2 week span to have empty promises for a quote. I could not get a quote online because our home is a new construction. I will be going with another business since TruGreen clearly doesnt need mine.

So so bad customer service. After a year service, my grass still the same and after year service they supposed to call me and ask me if i need to continue with the service instead they come out and spray the treatment and send me a bill is not just that I called the lady answered the phone she is no good I ask if I speak to her boss, she went let me to speak to her boss now I will not pay for the treatment I didnt approved for. Do not sign contract. This is what i call legal robbery.

The Truegreen team came out for the first time and sprayed my lawn in record speed. I actually called the service line thinking they had only sprayed my front yard but it turns out they were just so fast I didn t even notice they had also done the back. Everyone was very professional and polite.

I was a customer several years ago and left because all they ever had was excuses. I decided to try them again and nothing has changed! Well actually it s worse, I m not sure how they got worse but they are. Now they take your money and they cannot figure out how to make and appointment and keep it. They allow technicians to CANCEL and accuse the customer of cancelling, then when they re caught in the lie, they say well the technician has too many options and they just hit the wrong one. Why does a tech have the right to cancel? They should notify the office and the office should reschedule not cancel! It s been all spring and I still haven t had my spring treatments Memorial Day is now this weekend, I have dandelions up the wazoo and here we are another cancelation! I spoke to a Customer service guy last night that said the issue was a broken hose and that he guaranteed I d be serviced in the morning. Today, the customer service person (Bobby)says they have no record of me calling, and since the service was cancelled all he can do is reschedule it out another week. There isn t any way the technician will be here today and no customer service person can promise that. So excuse after excuse! Why does a tech have more than two options they either did the work order or they didn t. The technician shouldn t be allowed to cancel a scheduled and paid for service! If they can t do the work it should go back to the office and get rescheduled; never CANCELLED. They are getting a poor rating on everything except value because nothing h8ng has been done.

A shady business. Canceled service the following year in order to use an organic company. They still showed up for service and then charged me double lol. I called to request refund and they refused. Therefore I simply reported them as fraudulent. Stay away and stay local

I signed up with TruGreen last fall. First two services were fine. But then this spring hit and its been very frustrating and complicated. I called in April to see when someone was coming out because no one had at that time. She said I should have gotten a treatment in March but here, they were closed due to covid-19. I understand that. What I dont understand is why each appointment I have gets scheduled with a 5 day window, then an actual service date scheduled and then its either cancelled or set back to a 5 day window appointment. TruGreen reps have accussed me of cancelling my appointments when I never did. Ive had to call each service to see whats going on. One time, it showed they were coming and I waited all day until 7 pm, no show. I called the next day and they said they didnt show because they ran out of treatment spray and they had me scheduled out again in 2 weeks. I told them that wasnt acceptable, that I should have been on the next days list. He was able to get me back on the schedule 2 days after my original appointment. They seem to have a hard time keeping accurate appointments on the books.

We decided to try a professional lawn care service to save my husband some time and get the lawn looking great. TruGreen salesman assured us that they were the ones to use because, after all, the major golf courses use them. So, how could we go wrong. First application was on April 27 of this year. 9 WEEKS LATER, they finally came back to apply the second service. In between those 9 weeks, I called with my concerns that no one had been here within the 4-6 week time frame promised for the second application. I got the runaround from several different people and they kept changing the date without letting me know. I finally found out that the schedule is on their automated system and unless someone there actually locks in a date it keeps on pushing out the next service. DOESNT MAKE SENSE TO ME! How can you ward off crab grass and creeping charlie it you dont stay on top of it? Our lawn looks worse than it ever has. I will be cancelling the rest of the service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Theyre a JOKE!

I will modify this rating, if changes happen (phone calls stop). I have used trugreen off and on for 10 years. I havent kept continual service because their calls for extra services are bording on harassment. They dont end....and contine off season to get me to sign up. No means no...except to a salesman. As a customer it is overbearing and is the reason I will cancel (again). Their lawncare service is 5 stars. Their constant marketing phone calls are 1 star. Avg 3 stars. Hoping to increase this rating soon.

Unreliable at best and very pushy sales after the fact. They struggle performing their core business and then want to up-sell more services that may or may not be performed. Do not pre-pay, upon cancellation do to frustration I had 4 of 8 treatments remaining yet I only received 10% back from the annual pre-payment. Avoid if you have an alternative.

This company is a joke. I received a couple services this year as usual. Several weeks later I noticed I still had weeds throughout my yard, especially along my boulevard. I contacted TruGreen and asked to have my yard re-treated as part of their Healthy Lawn Guarantee. Little did I know that was a mistake. I was actually charged for the visit because it was almost time for my next treatment anyways. A technician came out to my yard and put down so much chemical specifically in the areas I complained about that everything completely died in those areas. I have HUGE patches of brown dead grass streaked throughout my lawn now. Again, I contacted TruGreen to complain about this. They sent someone out and we walked my yard and he showed me everything he could treat and could not treat. He offered to aerate and seed my lawn for free in order to fix their mistake, as well as send someone out as soon as possible to further address the problem weed areas. A month later someone finally arrived. Keep in mind the worst areas of my yard are along the boulevard. I watched the technician from start to finish, and he never even came close to treating my boulevard! I immediately called the guy I had met with and his response was hmm... I dont know why he wouldnt have done it. Ill send him back. If I wouldnt have been home and watching this would have never been caught. I am pretty sure my boulevard has never been treated (even though I am paying for it) and thats why the weeds are so out of control. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY if you choose to use them. You will most likely pay for service that you may or may not receive. I would definitely avoid TruBrown at all costs.

Please do not waste your hard earned money on this company. It looks line a person from TruGreen comes and spread water. My lawn is full of weeds. Dont want to waste more time writing.

On time, and I am waiting to see if the application is successful in eliminating the crabgrass.

Our lawn has never been worse. Impossible to contact local customer service reps... national call centers provide AWFUL customer service... not to mention the chat customer service. Save. Your. Energy. First and last year with TruGreen.

My lawn was in pretty bad shape so I decided to try a year with TruGreen. The lawn improved somewhat but not nearly what I was expecting. Definitely not worth the hefty price tag. On top of that, they automatically renewed my service and wouldnt remove the first bill after I caught it on my credit card. Youd be better off buying a spreader and fertilizer pack that covers all 4 seasons. I wouldnt recommend the service.

I m not even sure where to begin. I paid my bill in full in May and get weekly bills and phone calls on my property. I have spoken to several people at TruGreen and not one person can figure this out. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They call weekly fishing for more money.

Tru-Green does a great job the work they do really enhances the growth and color of the grass on the yard!! I am really happy about tru-greens work!!
