Our condo association is using Turf Technologies to spray for mosquitos and ticks. Although we do not agree with this practice for environmental reasons we accepted the majority vote. Their billing department is horrible. I pay the bill the day it arrives in the mail ( sometimes bills are not even received for 30 days)yet payments are marked 30 days overdue. I have tried to communicate my concerns about their inefficient handling of billing however it continues to be an issue. Very irritating

This company does not get back to you. You have to leave a message and I left 3 of them over the course of 3 weeks. Because I left an abrupt one today they called back. Crab grass is now taken over. If I have a little that s fine but now I will have a whole huge line and it s going to be dead weeds. This is unacceptable and don t put yourself through this as I m not a happy customer. I canceled with them.

Had someone use them and they hired someone to do clean up like goffer work problem is she or he doesn t shut up I caught them in my medicine cabinet it looked like they actually needed something! Not lying so make sure u check every person they bring along even if it s to just mow

Apparently nobody works here. I been a customer for many years and thats about to end. My yard has not been sprayed in almost two months, nobody came last week when I received a text stating they would and now nobody answers the phone. All I want is an answer or excuse for whatever this issue seems to be. The product has been okay overall, but they were reliable. Definitely not reliable if you cant get a call back after 3 messages. Look elsewhere.

Troy is AMAZING! he came out and accessed my father in laws lawn. Let us know what we needed to help fill in some of the dead spots and a few other tips on how to maintain healthy grass. Super knowledgeable 10/10. Highly recommend.

Did not do a great job

Do not use these guys!!!! I just canceled our account after 5 years here. The last two years have been not the best experience. The past year, we had the early spring fertilization on 4/20, the early summer fertilization on 7/21 (early???), summer fertilization on 8/29 (summer almost over), then late summer fertilization on 11/1 (already into fall), and finally the fall fertilization on 11/20 (19 days after late summer and into the winter weather). I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in the look of our lawn these last two years. They seemed to not care about when they do the work or if it is being done within the seasons it is supposed to be done in! If you want a company that does a great job, do not consider this company!!!! if you reach out, i will share the complete invoice for last year with all of this on it to see for yourself!

Turf Tech came out to do a Spring clean up on my lawn. It was full of sticks and leaves. They did an awesome job, very thorough. Really happy with the job they did!

The day I decided to check out Turf Technologies Bob came to our house and explained everything very thoroughly to me. I was impressed right off. And since then the young man that comes to our house has been wonderful! That young man is Matt K.! Never asked or signed up for any spring 2024 service. Came to my house without verification and charged me. Not happy.

I ve been using turf tech for 10 years for fertilizer and they have always done an excellent job. Communication is always on point with the technician, they really care about your property. A+

Bob and team are phenomenal! I ve been working with them now for few seasons. Primarily the Spring and Fall cleanups with irrigation maintenance. I have like many, a large lot surrounded by trees, while I love the foliage I don t love the lingering leaves. They ve quite frankly made my property a pleasure to drive up to and enjoy and not dread because of the amount of hours I d have to invest in maintenance and/or seasonal clean up. The most compelling thing I can share is that I trust the quality of their work. Their commitment shows by not taking anything for granted and ensuring the work completed meets and exceeds owner expectations. Next up, mulch beds and I can t wait! : )

I hired Turf Technologies to service my irrigation system on May 8th. The technician placed 2 spray heads within 3 feet of each other - when he told me he was putting the 2nd one at the end of the mulch area (it should have been another 5-6 feet further away. He also did not fix one of the heads that is still not rotating. The receipt he left makes no sense (I have no idea what I actually paid for. Two days later my landscaper had to replace another 2 heads that Turf Tech seemed to think they were fine. So that is 3 heads that should have been replaced, and 1 head that needs to be moved. Also, the technician said he couldnt find one of the heads, but the next day, I saw it there clear as day. Because he couldnt find that head he said he had to install 2 new heads in the mulch bed (the ones that he put 3 feet apart from each other). So I feel like I had to pay for 2 new heads, when I already had a head in place. When I called to see if they could come out and fix these outstanding issues, I set up an appointment for 9:30 AM on June 8th. When he didnt show up, I messaged him at 10 AM, he never answered. I waited all day and messaged him again at 5:12 PM. It is now June 27 and I have never heard back from them. Not to mention they left a huge oil spill in my driveway and didnt seem to care. They did tell me how I could clean it up... REALLY? I was willing to work with them, but to just not show up for an appointment and no common courtesy to call me back. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company.

Contacted Turf Technologies to do my fall clean up. Loved the fact Bob was able to quote it via viewing the property on-line w/out having to come by. Hired them to also do a small one time clean up of an area in my back yard. They exceeded all my expectations, very impressive, it was a job very well done.

Turf Technologies has been providing a lawn care fertilizer program on my lawn for the past 3 years. Previous to Turf Technology taking care of my lawn fertilization, I did my own fertilization maintenance and I just have the time to deal with it any more. My lawn is pretty much weed free and green.

Ive been using them consistently for the past 7 years, from lawn fertilizer to aeration, to emergency shrub trimming. All of the employees are nice.

A bit sloppy work. Especially in a commercial parking lot. They don t have much consideration for cars nor people while on a job.

I used Turf Tech a couple years ago for lawn aeration and fertilizer, I used other service providers for mowing and irrigation maintenance. Last year I switched to a different all-in-one lawn service provider which was a mistake. This season I reached out to Bob at Turf Tech and got a quote for all lawn services, the quote was very competitive, so I along with my neighbor signed up for Turf Techs bundled package, our yards flow together so it made since to use the same company. Turf Tech has done a terrific job maintaining our yards! Ours are the nicest two yards in the neighborhood. If they see an issue with a certain weed type, theyll let us know and adjust the application needed to control the problem. If a schedule adjustment is needed due to a potential rain delay, they will let me know and offer an alternate date.

They sent invoices for the first two mowings then stopped. Had to call into them to find out how much I owed as no invoiced were being sent at all. They also do not listen to the frequncy that you would like to have it mowed at and just do what they pelase. This is jot how you run a business or treat a veteran.

I love Turf Tech! They have done an amazing job taking care of my lawn. Their prices are the best around. The technician that comes, Erik, is super friendly and professional. He explains everything if you have questions on certain weeds, etc. The office staff is responsive and friendly (Jen). The owner, Bob is so nice and down to earth. Referred them to my neighbor as well who is happy with the service thus far.

Hired this company for lawn aeration and over seed project. I was assured they would be able to complete the project in September. Called in week 3 and told next week for sure. They never showed up or contacted me to advise.

Locally run company....good established reputation

I called them and TruGreen for a quote. I ended up going with TruGreen. We never spoke again. A few weeks later 2 guys showed up at my house and fortunately I was there. I asked them who they were because I had no appointment. They didnt have an answer except to say they were told to come. I told them I would insist on an appointment due to my 2 Shepherds in the fenced in backyard and besides the work had already been completed. Further, I work out of the house and never let a first time vendor make an appt. without speaking with me because of the dogs and because I prefer to be there. I sent them off and lo and behold they sent me a bill. So I called and explained what happened to a woman who answered. She insisted that they had an appt. Of course I would know If I made an appt. Anyhow, she persisted to argue with me. Regardless they never performed any service and if she didnt believe me I told her to ask the 2 nice fellas that showed up that day. They must have a record of the 2 that came. Just now I received another bill followed by a letter from a collection company. I have a witness and if they bothered to check with their 2 employees they would know I never had their service. These people are completely incompetent and rude. Dont call them because they are disorganized and dont have a clue how to operate a business. Beware!

Wasted a full day waiting for Rich to show up as promised. Never happened. Called the office to complain, no response. Awful customer service. Stay away.

Turf Tech bought Baystate lawn care. Bay State was amazing!! Trustworthy, budget friendly, etc. Jeff took care of everything. We asked a question about a bill without any return call. Do not recommend at all.

I had been receiving services from Turf Technologies for several years as I was a previous client of Bay State Lawn Care for many years until turf tech bought them. This year I thought it was unusual that I went from paying $62 a visit to triple that for services not requested/explained. Then I received an overdue notice for a random amount. I inquired as to why I was receiving services not requested, I got no response. I asked for an explanation/documentation for the overdue notice, again no response. I continue to receive overdue notices (now with random interest they decided to start adding), and still no explanation whatsoever for anything.

They are ridiculous. They sought out, via email, new clients for aeration and seeding. I hired them to do it. Was told they will be here mid-September. Here it is October 19 and not only did they not show, but never even called. Do not hire this company. Services

They have been servicing three locations for years and have been very professional, proactive and our lawns could not look better. A few days prior to each service they send out a text or email notifying you of any upcoming services so that you can plan accordingly.

We hired Turf Technologies, Inc for our pest control in 2019 and its been a life saver. Our home is surrounded by woods and we hired them to spray for ticks and mosquitoes. They treat once a month, the price was great and the technician we have is very thorough. Theyve already treated once allowing me to feel good about sending my children outside to play, which is very important, especially right now since we cant leave!! I would recommend Turf Technologies to anyone who has issues with ticks, mosquitoes or any other nasty insects. Highly recommend!!

Called after 2nd application for lack of explanation on bill re: watering. Was told by Morgan that she would talk to tech and call back. Never did! Call back again re: weeds. Tech told me that if I see weeds to call and say, Ive got weeds. Morgan again said she would look at schedule and call when tech would come out. 3 week later. Fertilized lawn myself. 2 days later they call to schedule a weed treatment. I CANCELLED Svc. Susceptible service/ Poor follow up. Theres plenty of others.

They do not return call,will bill for service not provided.Been with them over 15 years and now done with them. Salesman name Rich is never in to help and does not show up for appointments

Spoke with them 4 or 5 times since the beginning of November to get a price and confirm an appointment. Got 2 different prices and they said they would come in 1 or 2 weeks each time. The never showed up. They never call to cancel so when It snowed I got another company to come within the week between the snow storms. Totally horrible on responding or showing up.

In 2018 I used Turf Technologies after a sales person named Eric T came to the house. I said that I would commit to summer and fall treatments, but that I would contact him/the company in the spring of 2019 after I c determined if the treatments had helped. One April day, 2019, I came home and saw that they had been there. Not by any pieces of fertilizer littered about the lawn, because there were none, no indication whatsoever (even a landscaper committed that it didnt look theyd applied anything), but by one of those little tags they leave, as well as a customer bill for the work done, $60.77 (an increase from 2018, which was $59.00). No one had bothered to contact me, asking me if I wanted to continue, perhaps do a larger area, and, oh, by the way, weve increased our prices for 2019. As I had never contracted them to automatically come the following year, I was quite surprised. The area I had them treat was a small area, inside a fenced-off area around the pool. (I have 5.5 acres and decided to start with a small area to see the results of their product). So I called. Told them that I had very clearly and specifically told the salesman Eric T that I would contact them if I wanted to proceed with treatments. I was told Eric was no longer with the company. The woman who answered the phone, I believe it was Morgan, told me that they had called to say they were on their way. I never received a phone call, never received a voice mail. She argued with me, telling me first of all that I had agreed to have them begin again in spring of 2019, and that furthermore, they did call. Had I received the phone call I would have said, please dont come; I dont want any more treatments. Had I received a voicemail I would have called the office and said, please, do NOT have them apply anything. I told her I would drive to where she was and show her my iPhone, which had no calls from the company. I then asked to speak to her supervisor and to please have someone call me about this bill. No one ever called me. I call numerous times, leaving messages, asking for someone to call me, both about the bill, as well as the work that was done. No one did. June 1st they send out a bill with a late fee attached to the bill. I had specifically said: please have someone call me before I can or will pay this bill. I had no choice but to pay the bill, for work I never. contracted, let alone asked, a company to do. Never in my life have I had this kind of experience. And hopefully, never again will I. Yes, no doubt many people have had good experiences with Turf Technology, but I have also read reviews of other people having similar experience, so I wanted to add my dissatisfied voice to that list. And if I could give it a minus 5 stars, that would be my rating

Ill keep it short and sweet. Salesman came out and was uneducated on what he was talking about. The owner stepped up to fix the situation. If the owner hadent it would of been 1 star.
