I was not happy with my service for 2023. They automatically started 2024 service and I said I would not pay. They have now sent my $95.00 bill to collections. I told a number of times, I am not going to pay. Not happy at all.

My husband wanted a perfect lawn and I wanted to grow natives, so we compromised. He gets the front yard and I get the backyard. We hired WeedMan to manage the front yard and Calvin does an amazing job! This is our first year and the front yard is already looking perfect and free of any spill over from my native backyard

As a new customer I finally had the chance to talk with Calvin, I didnt seem like Im just a number and it actually felt like he enjoyed his job and what he does and puts his customers needs on a priority list. This is my 2nd treating this year and so far its going lot better than the last lawn care service. I was nervous by some of the comments I have read on Facebook and at other sites. As a new customer I feel like I dont need both of my neighbors pay attention if they actually did anything to my yard i can see the improvement from the winter already. I am glad I didnt let the comments that I read deter me from using them!!

Had my lawn looking good after a year or so of trying to do it myself left it in pretty bad shape. Have helped me keep it in good shape for 5+ years now.

So far I ve had two applications done and my yard is looking great!! The wife mentioned how green the yard was compared to the neighbors!! I told her that the new company put down their fertilizer!! Weed man lawn service and the crew are very nice and personable they have chatted with me about what they were doing before they applied each time.

New account and first application completed today. Good advance notifications via text which included a reschedule notice due to weather. Employee rang doorbell and verified lot lines and reviewed what he was applying. So far, so good.

I feel like a customer again, not just a stop along somebodys route home. Calvin came to my door, introduced himself and outlined the service I could expect, and then didnt disappoint. He actually pushed a spreader as he walked my lawn. I felt like he cared as much about my lawn as I do.

Long time customer. Our family is proud of WeedMan lawn service for their service.

Literally, the day after I signed up, they increased my service by 10%. Then, they proceeded to cancel the first application 4 times over 10 days for various reasons. During this period, they proceeded to call me and aggressively try to up sell me additional services. Finally, I had to cancel my service through their website because the production manager would not respond to my service requests. There are plenty of lawn care companies out there that will provide better service than this for a better price!!!

Dont waste your time, we recently just signed up for the pay as you go services. They said they would be coming out sometime next week for a consultation and then next thing we know, they are at our house 2 days later spraying. They didnt warn me or my husband that they were even coming. We have a dog and a fenced in yard, that my dog was just out and about in when they started spraying down chemicals. Again, no clue what was put down because they never spoke to us and they never even said what they were going to put down in our yard. Extremely unprofessional. They said the treatments would cost us $70 and then charge us $150 and said oh we did 2 treatments at once.

Do not bother with this company. I signed up to have my yard taken care of and I ll admit they took the time to learn the details of my yard, pets, and other things. Today they day came to service us and they didn t knock on the door, or bother to talk to us. They zipped into the yard and scared my wife. Put product down without telling us what it was and how to care for it or how long before letting our dog go outside. Then left all in less than 15 mins. If my wife hadn t seen them we wouldn t have known they were there. Chemicals may say they re okay for humans and pets but that doesn t mean they should be trudging through it without caution. The time they took to learn about my home was pointless. We re first time customers and it was an Overall terrible first impression and I m done with it.

I switched back to Pro Turf. I noticed a lot of weeds this year with Weedman. Also, I received high-pressure sales pitches for extra services, which is fine until Ive said no 3x and they are still trying to sell me.

We recently received a bill for grub control we did not approve. We received no satisfaction from their office and cancelled our service. We received another bill in the mail today. I guess we will take further action. Dont waste your time with this company.

I switched over to Weedman due to the price. I noticed early on I started getting weeds in my yard, I Had them come back out and spray again, did not notice weeds dying off, I decided to watch them on my cameras as they sprayed my yard and realize they were missing half my yard. I called and made a complaint, I was assured somebody would be out. It was funny how they wanted to argue about the job the service guy was doing when they didnt even see the video, one of the managers came out to spray and walk the lawn. He did a good job. Fast forward a few weeks, i was due for another broadleaf spray and the same issue, half the front yard was missed again, I was assured it wouldnt happen again and it still happened Plus the tire tracks burnt parts of my yard. What amazes me is that they sprayed on one of the hottest days of the year, upper 90s, my lawn is stressed and parts have died off, very unsatisfied Called on 8-29-23 and canceled services.

Came back 3 times to kill weeds!!!

Updated Post Weed Man service in Des Moines contacted me and we have worked together to combat my problem. We still have a long way to go because it s thistles but they have been great working directly with me. I hired them for garden bed weed maintenance. 2nd time at my house did front yard only. I called to ask for someone to come back to do the back yard and discuss with me how to get back there. Been several weeks and no communication. My garden beds are now so out of control I think it s hopeless. I hired them to help.

I very rarely write a negative review about a company, but I can honestly say this may be the worst money I have ever spent. Weed Man has been treating my lawn for nearly two years and despite this, I have one of the worst neighborhood! Constant weeds, patchy grass, and a fungal infections... What the hell am I even paying for at this point? And the grand irony, every time they come out to treat my lawn, they put down a little Weed Man flag to promote their trash work. On top of that, they dont tell you how much something is going to cost before they come out and do it. Got a message saying they were coming out to aerate and seed my lawn and didnt think much of it as the other visits only ever costed around $60-$70. I take a look at the invoice and it was $400! For what? The guys were here for 20 minutes tops! Save your money and stay away from these guys.

Unfortunately, nothing has gone right with this company. They cancel on the same day and reschedule but do not follow through for weeks. Our lawn continues to have weeds and patchiness, even though they eventually come back out to treat again and again. I would recommend going elsewhere. I agree with all the reviews below as it validates our experience too.

prices up 50%...i call to cancel and im accused of raising my voice... seriously? this is customer service?

Started last season with weed plan and had terrible weeds called out for correction treatments over and over. End result my yard was killed with creeping charley and 2 other lawn companys said it is so bad the grass wont come back. Neighbors using True Green which I had prior no weeds at all in there yard! I have the worst looking yard on the block now and it was great when I used True Green the prior year with no problems! The manager came out and said he would make it right. I came home and they had over seeded the yard only the front yard and did not contacted me at all! I heard they are under new ownership as of last year and the expense is big from paying them for weed control that does not work! I am not the only one I talked too with the same issue. They stated that it is fungus which my neighbors do not have and obviously know they caused a issue by coming and trying to mend the issue by coming to over seed. Just got a call if I want to proceed with treatment next year I explained the situation and the manager said the only way to fix the problem is to completely redo the grass which is a huge expense.

Ive asked and asked and asked that they put me a do not call list and they JUST KEEP CALLING. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IF THATS WHAT THEY DO. EVER.

I had Weedman for lawn treatment during the 2021 season. They scheduled more visits than what I had orginally requested. I had many weeds growing in the outer perameters of my yard, near my fences and near my flower beds. They spent little time in my yard...here and gone in 10 minutes. I asked to cancel treatments after October, and they went ahead with winter fertilization while I was out of town. The office manager is very rude, and she claims I never contacted them to cancel. I had texts as confirmations but did not feel the need to keep them at the time. Ive contacted them several times after receiving the bill, but in March I received a letter stating I had never communicated with them and they would turn it over to collections. I will never have them treat my yard again. I would rate them very low on office management and communications.

FRAUDULENT. I cancelled service with this company, two days later they performed service which I had requested cancelled. They expect full payment for a service I didnt want and are now threatening to send me to collections. They are also feign being a local company when they are not!

The first year a bunch of weeds died, and I did the Over seeding. This year my yard is looking great and is virtually weed free, all the bare spots are filling in. This place is great, and everything they use is safe. Highly Recommend.

Where do I start? Pretty much from start to finish I had terrible service. My yard had numerous issues, including large dead spots and weeds. I understand it takes time for a yard to come back to life (my yard wasn t that bad) but I was willing to be patient. Spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on weed control, grub control, aeration and over seeding and all the other services they provide. Weeds never went away, called them to do numerous comebacks to help the weed issue. They took 2 1/2 weeks to come out, even after they advertise they will come out within 48 hours of any issue. I asked them to meet with me in person so we could discuss details or even if I could send them pictures to show them the issues I didn t like and was told it wasn t necessary because they are doing the right thing. My neighbor had very similar issues as I did but chose a different company and their yard looks great. Bottom line is I was just another yard on the route, it took me three days to cancel my services because I couldn t get a hold of anybody. 0 out of 5 stars! trust me don t waste your time or money

Kim Morris who I believe is a manager of some sorts has a poor attitude. Weed man hit my cable line and broke my custom down spout and they took no accountability for me being without services for two weeks and I work from home. The aeration machine made massive divot in area that it hit so it wasn t just a standard plug that cut the line. Sour taste after this and canceled services.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. We did their broadleaf and fertilization plan. After 3 treatments we stopped because it was ineffective and made our yard worse. When we called to complain, they were very rude and offered no solution. They market and pride themselves on being local which is NOT true, based out of Lees Summit, Missouri. Horrible company, do not use, we hope no one has to go through our similar experience.

I have been with Weed man for 15 years, started to have some problems with lawn, one phone call and one day later my representative Jay was out to see us, problem solved lawn back to great shape.
