We are absolutely in love with our new backyard! We have a small yard, but wanted a lot done with it. Stacey and his crew were professional and exceeded our expectations. He had great ideas and made it look beautiful. We now have a custom built-in BBQ, an amazing fire pit, a patio cover with lights and a ceiling fan, beautiful landscaping, and even an artificial turf putting green. Everything looks amazing, especially at night when it is all lit up. We love it so much that Stacey is now doing our front yard. It did take a while to complete, but a lot of that was due to the crazy rain we had this year. It was definitely worth the wait! Thank you Smith Landscaping.

A little over a year ago we contacted Smith Landscaping and Masonry to come out to our property as we sought to completely transform our front and back yard. We roughly explained the ideas we had in mind so Stacey had a general understanding of our goals and could create a rendition accordingly, but the rendition he provided was beyond our expectations. After a long but well worth wait, Smith Landscape is currently in the process of doing just this, and so far we are in awe of his crews work ethic and skills as well as Staceys keen eye for details. After the project is completed (its a lot) well make certain to post before and after pictures so you can better understand the magnitude of the work they are doing for us.

Stacey Smith, owner, was very knowledgeable and informed of many options, from the onset, for our new driveway and landscaping ideas in several meetings. The driveway pavers they installed make our home look fresh!!As a un- informed home owner, with previous decisions to plant guided by MOON nursery, in La Verne, Stacey, and his crew, helped rectify, and adjust the many issues that were left hanging by MOON nursery. My review is for construction that occurred a few years back. I had always intended to place a review at the time but forgot. Stacey and his team did a superb job in designing and constructing our front porch and entry sidewalk, including some brick work. The work product was great quality, and the team was on time and responsive, which is not always the case with contractors. Stacey followed up to ensure we were happy with what was done. When I met the owner Stacey my yard was so overgrown. He assured me he would help to fix the problems and make it easier for me to maintain my yard on a weekly basis with his help and crew. He was so caring of my situation since I was aware that I loved all my plants a certain way. He had to cut them all back to almost nothing and he knew it would devastate me as I put so much time into caring for my yard. His crew quickly came in and have been maintaining my yard for about three months now. I am so very pleased at his work and their hard work and efforts to bring my yard back into shape. They are the best landscaping crew to ever touch my plants and have knowledge of what each kind of plant needs. They are great at what they do and very professional. I couldn t say more about the service I have been provided. Stacey told me he was a full landscaping service and he stands behind his word. My yard is proof of this. I can t thank him enough.

Just finished a backyard overhaul with Stacey and needless to say I am beyond pleased with the final product. Smith Landscape just finished our front yard project. We are pleased beyond words! We wanted our lawn removed but didnt have any idea what to do next. If you want a very professional Landscape & maintenance service this is the company to use. I have done business with Stacey for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. His ideas of having a nice looking yard and landscape is spot on. He has done Masonry work for me that looks terrific. I still use his landscaping maintenance to help keep that great look. Smith landscape exceeded my expectations! From day one I was impressed with Stacey the owner and his crew. These guys showed up on time and went straight to work. No lagging around - they are seriously focused. The crew takes direction from Stacey, who closely directs them throughout each phase. It s not hard to see that Stacey enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. He was gracious to answer any questions I had, not knowing his field of expertise, and he offered helpful advise that matched what I was looking for. At the end of the work day, Stacey s crew even cleaned up any mess before they went home! Wow, that was a biggie for me. And I really appreciated that. All in all, Stacey designed our large front yard with two parkway areas, installed an intricate drip system, installed accent lighting, that all flowed into a beautiful landscape work of art. If you re looking for a real professional who knows his stuff, this is your man. You can always find that cheaper guy to do a job, but I ve learned the hard way - you get what you pay for.

We hired them to keep my elderly mom s yard in compliance with city regulations. The whole place looks better than it has ever looked. A big plus is that Stacey is so easy to communicate with.

Amazing Design and Landscape lighting! Would recommend to anyone

We have hired Stacey and Smith Landscape twice now; most recently to overhaul our backyard completely. Both remodels were executed flawlessly and within budget and time. Our latest project included demo, a new paver patio with wooden patio cover, irrigation, and some light landscaping. We are thrilled once again with the outcome. Stacey was here pretty much every day checking in and making sure that the progress was in line with our vision and done properly. His crew is very respectful and keeps things as tidy as can be. We look forward to working with him again on future projects.

Stacey Smith and his crew have done multiple landscaping projects for us. Most recently, he rebuilt a circular planter in our front yard and trimmed, cleaned up, and renovated a hillside on our property. What I like most about Smith Landscaping is that he really knows what he s doing. He is professional and meticulous. For example, a pepper tree in our front yard had cracked the circular block planter in which it was growing. Some masonry contractors could fix the planter, but had no idea how to cut back the tree roots that caused the problem. Some tree trimmers said they could cut the roots back, but couldn t perform the masonry work. Stacey s crew cut back the roots, without harming the tree, replaced the block planter, and regroomed the decomposed granite around the planter. The finished work looks great. I recommend him highly.

Stacey was very professional and reasonably priced for the quality of work he performed. He had excellent suggestions and well experience in his field. Workers were clean and professional through out the job. I was very impressed and would hire him again in future projects. Thank you for a great job.

We went to them for an extensive paver and outdoor kitchen job and we started with him preparing renderings for our front and back yard. We should have realized they were a bad choice when it took about a month to get the initial drawings that contained many mistakes. Then it took a few weeks for him to make the minor corrections. We wanted to go with him but having no bid after 5 months doesn t seem like he was doing anything to help us out. We called him on this and then he said he didnt want to work with us. He talked a good game but at the end of the day he did almost nothing. We will find someone else who wants to work with us in a professional manner and get this done. We are just sorry that we wasted all this time listening to his excuses!

I was extremely excited about starting a new project with mr smith after working with him in the past. Once again he pulled through , designing and completing a beautiful patio with custom brick fireplace . He truly has wealth of knowledge, not the cheapest , but he is worth every penny!!! Smith Landscape is as good as it gets! The owner, Stacey, takes great pride in his work, and goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done perfectly. He personally oversees all aspects of the project, and has a great group of employees that are amazingly hard workers, are clean, kind, and considerate too. We had a large project that involved our front and back yards. The front included a gorgeous new driveway with pavers, a low retaining wall between our house and our neighbor, all new irrigation, landscape lighting, and all new sod and flower borders. In back we had a new cement patio poured, a stunning patio cover built, and all new irrigation, sod, trees, and flower borders. I am thrilled with how everything turned out! Stacey really listened to us and what we wanted, and used his wealth of knowledge to give his input on the design, and I think it was a wonderful collaboration! The quality of his work, materials, and character, made him and his crew so enjoyable to work with. It goes without saying that we highly recommend him!

First, let me say we are just thrilled with the end result of our recent yard improvement. We added lots of concrete beyond the driveway and into the backyard as well as redoing our parkway and rectifying a definite drainage issue. Love the results and the aesthetics! But maybe more than all that is how wonderful it was to deal with Stacey, the owner. Never have we had such constant and almost instant communication with a contractor. He is there when he says he ll be there (or early), he calls ahead of time if there s a delay, and he replies almost instantly to any and every call or text. His workers are excellent and respectful. If you can think of it, he can do it. If you can t think of it, he has lots of suggestions.

Stacey did a perfect job on our front and back yard all the way from demo, irrigation, concrete and turf! We had an idea of what we wanted but with his design experience he turned it into a reality. Highly recommended!
