I am so happy with Soundview Landscape and Sprinkler! They are a first class company! The first time we used Soundview was late Fall 2024 to expand our sprinkler system and add a walkway. They did such a great job that we had them come back in December to add raised garden beds, fruit trees and another walkway. Our landscaping looks so good now. They stand behind their work. The staff is very knowledgeable, do excellent work and always clean up at the end of the workday. Kip, the owner, is really easy to work with and really knows his stuff. I highly recommend Soundview and will definitely work with them again.
Fantastic experience. We had soundview install a sprinkler system for our yard. They were very time efficient and made sure that the sprinklers were hitting all the areas correctly. They even came out after installation to make adjustments to ensure our lawn was the way we wanted. Can't say enough about how great of an experience it was dealing with them! Highly recommended.

Pleasantly made promises, delayed, delayed, delayed, and later declined to perform. We requested several services and Soundview submitted designs we didn't request, which we declined. Soundview bid based on previously declined design and work outside of our requests but not for requested work. Routinely made appointments that they did not keep. Might do a great job for selected customers but they kept stringing us along and didn't perform.
I’ve used Soundview a number of times for my sprinkler system. Last year Roy and Tristin fixed my sprinkler leak at my main valve, which was a relief as it was filling my crawlspace w/water. Later in the year, the same 2 gentleman replaced my back flow valve and installed a sprinkler main shut off valve. Both times they were professional, extremely knowledgeable, hard working, friendly, completed the jobs in a timely fashion and I was very satisfied with their work. And I’m a picky lady!!! This year my sprinklers seemed to have not enough water pressure. I called Soundview again and Brian and Tyler come out. Within a half hour, they’d diagnosed, found and corrected the leaking pipe, replaced a bad sprinkler head and replaced 3 sprinkler nozzles explaining the new ones work much better than the old and use 50% of the water. The price was 1/5 of what I thought it would be. They were in and out in one half an hour!!! Again, Soundview sent out guys SO KNOWLEDGEABLE, professional, friendly, hardworking and I’m tickled pink w/their work!!!! Each time I’ve used Soundview, they arrive in the time frame indicated. After work is completed, they’ve shown me what was corrected and I’m satisfied, I’m emailed an invoice to pay online. Easy peasy!! I wouldn’t use anyone else for my sprinkler needs. Soundview retains workers highly skilled in their field and they don’t mess around getting busy and getting that work done FAST!!!! Very impressive! Thank you Soundview and team!!!!
My husband & I were very happy with our backyard landscaping. We worked with the landscape designer Duane Reed who listened to our needs and wants. The overall general experience while planning and organizing for the project was pleasant too. He’s so knowledgeable in all plant species & is very passionate about what he does. He’s genuinely excited to help create your vision. I feel that makes a huge difference in any profession & shows in the final product. We learned so much about plants and yard care in the process. Duane was actually involved in my parents yard landscaping 25+ years ago and remembers me as a small child around the yard. My parents encouraged me to call Soundview Landscape & see if he was available. Really happy I did. It was a fun experience to have him involved with my first home yard project years later as an adult.
Very pleased with the whole effort. The plans that were put together were very detailed and provided a great pallet from which to work. The plan was implemented by a very expert and dedicated team. Even bad weather didn't cause much of a delay! The finished product exceeded our expectations. We know we will enjoy the result for years to come. Have also had them replace our whole sprinkler system - - good planning and implementation. Very pleased! We wouldn't hesitate to hire this company again.
Soundview Landscape and Sprinkler is an outstanding company. They are creative, precise and know what they are doing when it comes to complicated, hilly and clay soil landscapes. We have used them several times with many different projects including our beach patios, stairs, rock walls, huge rock stairs and retaining walls. All excellent work, done on time with very considerate and diligent workers. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a very professional job well done.

No response via email as requested. Took 2 email requests and a phone call. Email response was very dismissive and estimate provided was very expensive. It truly felt as though they did not want our business. Disappointing.
We are a local independent Irrigation Contractor who referred one of our customers to Soundview L.S. to put in a new meadow area on her property. When we referred her, it was under the understanding that we would install her irrigation and Soundview would put in the landscape. The new owner of Soundview, Kip, repeatedly kept persuading the customer to put in irrigation his way. He would not share his plans and he refused to work with us. We are extremely disappointed with his aggresive, non-professional behavior with this situation. He should have never suggested putting in irrigation. The plan we had for her property would have lasted through the years. Now, we will have to go back next year or the following and redo the irrigation the way we had originally planned, once the plants grow to maturity. We will NEVER refer his company again for landscape. He has burnt a bridge in the community of contractors.
I contacted Duane Reed to provide a landscape design for our church. He did a fantastic job of taking my preferences and putting them into a plan. He met our needs with a plan that made for minimal maintenance and high curb appeal and provided it in a timely and affordable way. His knowledge of plants and how they will look now and 10 years from now is impressive.

Made appointment and they cancelled at last minute and rescheduled for a date a month later and then did not show up or even call for the second appointment. Wasted nearly two months waiting for their service while our irrigation system was compromised during the summer months. Very disappointing and frustrating. If I could, I would rate them less than one star.
Very responsive customer service! I have a sloped yard and have been concerned about a number of water issues. Owner Duane Reed and the sprinkler crew, led by Brian, took all the time I needed to review my concerns out in my yard, and offered answers and advice that are helping me mitigate my surface water concerns. I really appreciate the expertise they offered, and can already see results!
Incredibly reliable and straightforward company. The initial work was prompt and well done. We had a couple issues with a failing mechanical part a year after initial installation of a new water line. I anticipated pulling teeth for assistance with the resolution. Instead, they were incredibly quick to respond and address the issue. Id definitely hire them again. Five stars.
The technicians are amazing and hard working.
Called them for sprinkler winterization. They had a real person answer the phone, and they were polite and professional. Scheduled appointment, they had an opening sooner than expected so they called me on the phone and made sure it was ok to get it done before the scheduled date. Doesnt get any better!
These are our regular landscaping service providers and we recommend them to other people too. They have artistic talents to design and create wonderful spaces. They have all the technical knowledge required for working in this field and they never refuse to do changes in their work for customer satisfaction.

I have used them through the years on the design and developement for three homes and they have always shown creative design and first class workmanship. We are now completing the landscaping and lighting for my third home. I am very happy! I also use them for my sprinklers and drip system. They stand behind their work with a very knowledgeable staff.
We have been working with Soundview Landscape & Sprinkler for 15 years, since the day we moved into our home. We were excited to have a head start. The previous owners had used Soundview for initial landscaping of the home. Over the years we have done smaller projects and BIG projects and we have used Soundview for ongoing property maintenance and sprinkler maintenance. Heres the whisper market secret. Soundview is doing the landscaping design, installation, sprinkler and overall maintenance for the best homes in our area. Thats right. The top flight homeowners have the inside skinny on the best. There are plenty of fly-by-night outfits out there with dudes in panel station wagons or a single truck and trailer with no real background and experience in landscaping & sprinkler systems pushing flyers and door hangers. If price is your ONLY consideration, by all means use them. But remember, you get what you pay for. The moment you pick up the phone to bring in professionals, REAL professionals, you get a professional job with a professional firm that has seasoned field crews and pays a living wage to employees. That means staff stability, like the crew chief thats been with the firm for over 16 years. It also means a commitment to getting it right, solving a variety of problems and getting you to happy, especially if youre unhappy. But ya know what? You gotta communicate. Service professionals are not mind readers. Far too many people want something for nothing. When they dont or cant get it, the sudden surprise occurs and the negative social media reviews fly. You want that? Call the fly-by-night dude, who may or may not come as previously scheduled. Better yet, watch that YouTube video and go to Lowes and do it yourself. After all, you really dont want to pay anything. So you better have a back brace. Or you just think it shouldnt cost that much. But you dont know jack...you dont run a business and you have no idea what it takes to run a professional business with crews, equipment, a roster of top flight clients, be compliant with the State and operating in the creative squishy area where a landscaper is trying to interpret what you want given your confusing claims about what you say you want. Remember, seasonality drives so much in landscaping. You have a project in mind? Get started with conversations, concept ideas and bids in December-January. Waiting until May? Good luck. Get in line. And youll be in a long line with just about every other landscaper too - even the single dudes with a truck and trailer.
Service was done promptly in May and to standard. No invoice was sent, I contacted the company requesting one because I need it for tax reasons... Fast forward to August 18 the invoice finally arrives, payment is mailed. A secon notice mailed 21 aug claiming 60 day past due, and record a 90 day notice yesterday all in less than 20 days of original invoice. Oh ya and those invoices are because a sought him out as the debtor... Amateur hour, no business for you next year... Accusing me of not paying when you cant manage your books.
Be careful if you have this company out for a free estimate, which is what I did. The bid they gave was much higher than it should have been so I did not hire them and did the work myself. Almost immediately an inspector contracting for the water department showed up and required me to install a backflow preventer on the main waterline. This was clearly instigated by Soundview Landscape & Sprinkler after I told them their bid was too high. It is a typical old boy point system.
