Ginger was amazing to deal with. Another local sod company really put me in a bind and I called Ginger with only one days notice to get sod. They re-worked some things and made it happen. I would highly recommend and I am shocked they have some 1 stars here. They bent over backwards for me and I will use them again when I am ready to do more. Thank you A3. You saved me!
Rude, unprofessional, expensive. take your business elsewhere. They clearly don’t want or need your business. Places an order for grass a week in advance. I got a text from Ginger the day before saying my grass wouldn’t be available until the next day, I called to discuss and told her I was going to call around to try and get something lined up for the day I need grass. Called back 10 minutes later to let her know I couldn’t get anything and Wednesday will have to do. She proceeds to lecture me about how I didn’t respect her and she doesn’t want my business. I gladly hung up, called Burnett’s in Flint and was taken care of the following day, prices were cheaper as well. Would not recommend this place at all.
The day before 5 pallets of grass were supposed to be installed, the instillation price changed. While I can understand there was some miscommunication, we prepaid for the Grass, Delivery, and Instillation. We asked for the instillation to be removed (we can just do it ourselves, no problem) and to have that fee refunded. The Wife of the business owner became very irate, yelled at us, was very rude and said "well why don't we just cancel everything and refund you then?!" this isn't what I wanted at all, but they did it anyways and hung up on us. Now we will have to be put on a waiting list to get our grass.
Called, ordered and paid for 5 pallets of grass to be delivered and installed 2 weeks ago. Was told that I would be called the following week for a delivery and installation date. Called the following Thursday after not hearing from anyone and was told that due to rain they were behind and it would be Tuesday before they would get a delivery and would call me. Got the call on Tuesday and was then asked for photos of where it was to be installed. Was told that because they would have to use a wheelbarrow instead of a forklift that it would be $50 additional per pallet to install. Called to ask why it was not communicated to me that they had to be able to drive a forklift through the yard for the quoted installation price and greeted by a very angry woman that was upset that I was asking questions. I suggested that since there seemed to be a miscommunication regarding installation, perhaps we just cancel the installation piece and they could refund me the installation charge. She got upset and raised her voice and said she would just cancel my entire order and refund my money. I told her that I still wanted the sod that had been paid for but she would not listen and cancelled my order in its entirety and texted me a refund receipt. Very unprofessional. Lack of communication on their part. Change pricing after it has already been paid for and then cancels my order after I have waited 2 weeks for it. When my boyfriend called to ask why they would cancel the entire order he was swiftly hung up on. I would not do business with them if they were the last place on earth that had grass. Seems I should have read some of the reviews about their changing pricing and shadiness before I ordered.
BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING GRASS FROM THIS COMPANY. VERY POOR QUALITY BERMUDA AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE OPTIONS TO SIMPLY CORRECT THE ISSUE OR SATISFY THE CUSTOMER AND MAKE THE PURCHASE RIGHT WAS NOT EVEN AN OPTION. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND NEED TO BE TURNED IN TO THE BBB

Ordered gravel and was supposed to be larger rock , but what they gave was lots of mud and small pebbles. They were rude after my inquires ans would not fix issue. Please go somewhere else.
These people are crooks and legal action will be taken now! We have given them more than ample opportunities to finish a job and he gives excuse after excuse and now it has been over a month. He left my poor grandmothers sea wall in worse shape that it was to begin with and talked her into paying in full before it was completed. Mr Magin has not been back since as he promised he would be. This is a horrible businessman. Id give 0 stars!

My widowed aunt hired this company to build a retaining wall and it wasn t completed. She returned several times to confront them and get her money back and they dodged her at every turn. She finally had to go to court to receive a partial settlement. Would not hire!

Ordered Grass and was on backorder. I was called the DAY before installation and was told that their installation methods would be changed and that it would cost more per pallet. I asked the wife of the owner to cancel the installation and just deliver it so I could install myself, she became very rude on the phone and suggested we cancel the whole order. When I told her that is not what I want, she hung up on me, and cancelled the order anyway. Unacceptable, Unprofessional, Rude, Shady Price Changes, Poor Communication. If I could give no stars, I would.
Sod actually was beautiful. My problem is I pre paid for 46 pallets of st Augustine. Also paid $100 per pallet for delivery plus was charged $100 per pallet to deliver. Only ended up getting 38 delivered. Never was refunded the $ fir the 7 extra pallets I paid for or or the fee for delivery of the 7 extra pallets or the install fee for the 7 pal were installed so I paid lets . Also at job site only 30 were installed so I should have been refu plus the tax.. when I contacted them the daughter answered and told me she would only refund me $500 nded for that 7 install as well
I ordered 2 pallets of grass when I got the grass home I discovered while putting the grass out 1 pallet was 3/4 of a different grass not what I had paid for I called the lady she said well what do you want me to do about it l took pictures of it and sent to her. She could see it was obviously bermuda grass. I showed the grass to mr Burkett and another grass business both agreed it was definitely Bermuda. I have call and sent text no answers .Would never recommended this place to anyone VERY RUDE

Not even sure this place is still open. I went during business hours, but nobody was around. The door was locked and there was a sign that said call this number. I called and nobody answered. I left a voicemail but nobody called me back. I waited fifteen minutes and in that time two other customers showed up and left angry. Still havent gotten a call back. They also didnt have much in the yard. I only saw one pallet of sod and it was dead. Meanwhile I went down the road to their competitor and there were four ladies working in the office ready to help me, five or six men working in the yard, and trucks coming and going left and right with product.
I had reserved 2 pallets of grass for pickup a couple weeks ago. They tried to call me the day before to let me know they wouldn t be ready from the farm where grass is grown due to rain. However, they called the the wrong phone number by one digit because of handwriting error. I still showed up (I live an hour away) and left empty but was told they would sell me the grass at their cost because of the error. I will continue to do business with them as it s nice to see a business own a mistake and take care of the customer. Thank you A3 Grass and Stone!

Pre ordered grass . When I picked it up quality looked bad . It got worse when we started laying it down . It was very old moldy and trash . They are not a business to trust or do business with!

I order a large amount of sod with Lauren. The grass was delivered and installed on time and as promised. The install crew were very professional. Thank you for the great product and service.
Worst sod purchase ever made. Received a pallet of St. Augustine sod that was old and never rooted due to it being old and possibly left out on the pallet for too long. Sod look distressed and had white fungus like growth underneath. Reached out to the company to see what could be done with no response. New Sod NEVER became usable.

My husband and father-in-law went in to pick up a half-pallet of sod we had reserved. My father-in-law is a veteran and asked if they had a military discount. (The two other sod sellers in Tyler offer a discount.) The cashier became very rude and told them that the work that went into a half-pallet and such a small sale didnt warrant a military discount. We were still spending $85. My FIL mentioned he gets a percent discount at the other sod places and she continued to be rude and irate. Very disappointed in this place.

I had to pick up some grass I had ordered, I have been calling since 3:20 pm, left a message that I would be arriving just before 4 oclock, when they were supposed to close. No one picked up the phone any of the four times I called, and when I got there about 5 minutes till 4, there was nobody there. I also did not receive any phone call trying to check whether I was going to pick up my order or not. Really disappointing customer service.
