Wonderful company, great employees!

I m not one to write negative reviews but we had the worst experience with Salcido and have tried to work things out with them to no avail. My husband hired them to pick up leaves and sticks from our house. They sent a quote prior to us hiring them with a total cost. When we got our final bill it was $1,000 more than what the estimated total cost was. They made an error on the estimate by not including the number of hours and number of employees in their estimate. It was their error. We would not have chosen this service had they given us that information. They make you put a card on file before the service so they ve charged our card and now won t communicate with us. When we ve tried to call to work this out, their operations guy said he d work something out and never called us back. When I tried to call his boss on multiple occasions, I was told his boss in a meeting every time and even though I left my contact information was never called back. We ve even gotten the BBB involved and they won t contact them back either regarding this issue. I ve never dealt with as unprofessional a company as this one and would not recommend using this company.

Ashton & Isaiah are a great team and have taken such great care of our lawn. They go way beyond to make sure our new sod is treated with care and seem to really love their jobs and customers. Thanks, guys!

Larry and Conner came out to our home to find our sprinkler shutoffs and repair broken sprinklers and locate ones that were buried that we were unable to locate. These 2 spent 2 days trying to find and repair our shutoffs that who ever installed them did a terrible job. Valves were finally located in the middle of our lawn, not near the house or even in the same location. Very strange! Once they located and identified all the sprinklers they did a great job and a very tideous one at that, incredible job reparing and finding an almost possible situation!

Isaiah and Ashton were excellent again. Salcido takes great care of. It just our yard but the flower beds too. Thanks guys

A recent freeze busted underground sprinklers, they were there on the fly to fix. Larry & Conner came out to prime our sprinkler pump, but ended up adjusting some sprinkler heads and even adding a rain sensor as well. I appreciate their efforts to make sure our system was in top shape for the upcoming seasons.

They care about their clients and they care about the products they place on your grass and truly take each yard personal like its their own. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Chris about a couple concerns of my yard and he took the time to explain ALOT to me and helped me understand what I thought was major concerns. I am starting my 3rd year with Salcido and can not be more pleased with the servie they provide either on the phone with my silly questions or when they come to my home. Salcido Lawn came out to help me fix my irrigation system installed long ago by someone no longer in business. Jaime, their serviceman, came promptly when the company said he would, and was very patient in explaining how my system controller worked and then carefully checked everything, fixing where he could and only installing new sprinkler heads where they were broken. He showed me everything he was doing and worked quickly and efficiently.

We are very happy with the work that we had done! Berto and his Crew went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the project! I look forward to working with everyone again on Phase II

James came to our house and gave us a very fair quote on our sprinkler system We are not on a lot of land, but bigger than a city lot, and right by the lake I was very pleased with the crew that did the job, left my yard in good shape, even after tearing it up lol Had a few issues with the program on the controller for a couple of days, but James came back three different times until it worked correctly I am very pleased with Salcido, I would recommend them to friends and/or family You cant go wrong with this company Thanks for the great work all :)

They don t pressure you into services, just tell you what they have that would benefit your situation and you choose. I love the effort-free yearly lawn treatment service I signed up for. They come out on a prescheduled rotation to make sure my lawn is getting all the help it needs. I am also getting an analysis on my sprinkler system. I have found them to be very reliable and professional. Is asked them to do extra work on the spot and they were able to add those services on the same day for a fair amount. Timothy, Dustin and Aaron were here today and did an outstanding job. We have a lot of garden beds and they are looking great.

The yard and irrigation system at my law office on the corner of W. Houston and S. Bois d Arc were an absolute disgrace. I hired Salcido Home Solutions to give both a big makeover and they did a great job. Drive by and have a look. New irrigation lines and nozzles where needed, checked functionality of, repair and/or relocate existing when needed. No fuss from the crew when they had to install an irrigation line beneath a parking lot driveway. Shortly after, the landscape crew came and stripped weeds and undesirable grasses in areas to receive new lawn. Leveled high spots and raised low spots with on site dirt. Installed steel lawn edging everywhere. Planted pallets of sod. Increased size of rose beds. In hardscaping area, placed fabric first and river rock second which really made the entrance to the office look attractive and professional. Ron and Larry were always available to answer my questions and Ron even stopped by after job was complete to review everything to make sure I was satisfied. Shout out to Ron and Larry, the crew leads and workers, Terry M. from the office who kept me informed and Christie for timely sending invoices and for answering my questions. The job Salcido did for me was well worth the price. I recommend that you obtain and bid from Salcido before you make a decision about who will install irrigation and landscape on your next project.

Ashton Wilkins and Joseph Graham are rock stars! The yard always looks wonderful. They go the extra mile when blowing off the patios by blowing off the cushion from debris flying around. Salcido has been putting up my Christmas lights up for several years. They are awesome! This year I didnt even have to call to schedule. They showed up yesterday and Timothy, Dustin and Rosario were very professional and did a great job putting up my lights. They were respectful of my yard and flower beds. When they finished they made sure I was happy with the job and that the timers were set they way I wanted them. Appreciate you guys!

The landscape team, of Juan and Mike under the supervision Ron Hill were very professional and courteous! Everyone when the extra mile to assure my happiness! Ron has an excellent eye for creating a flower bed design that allows for current enjoyment but future beauty as the plant choices will grow in and fill some of the space but not be crowded as time moves on. Ron and his team treat your property as you would-but they always take into account your preference as a property owner. Ron also provided advice on how to care for my new plants to maximize their health. I have never worked with a better landscape team! I would do this project all over again! Communication is really lacking here, both internally and externally. I tried for a week just to get an estimate and still havent gotten one. Ive spoken to someone on the phone multiple times and even had someone come out to take a look. Every time I call to check on the process, theres a problem. Its like they thought I said the opposite everything I said. I said I wanted weekly maintenance after a cleanup, they marked down that I didnt. Because they marked down that I only wanted a one time cleanup they wouldnt give any kind of estimate. Apparently if you arent going to do any kind of monthly business with them, they dont want your business. Its been over a week, 3-4 phone calls, and one person coming out to the house to see what needs to be done and I havent gotten anywhere. Ill be going somewhere else.

I appreciate very much that I get an email telling me when my service is scheduled. I get another email after the work is completed and tells me when I need to water the yard in regard to the weed control application that was just put on the yard. Anytime I have called the office I always get a VERY pleasant person in the Salcido Office. You can hear the smile on her face because she loves taking care of the Salcido customers. I highly recommend this business. They do what they say they will do and they do it when they say they are going to do it.

I called in a month or two ago and asked for quotes for doing the lawn work on my home in Eagles Bluff. I spoke with Rose and was greeted with a warm and encouraging voice. She had pricing back to me same day. SAME DAY!!! I was blown away by the responsiveness of your team. I simply wanted to let you all know how rare and appreciated it is. A few days later I decide to see what you all could do with my landscaping and some design work. Once again I had a call back and was treated amazingly well. As a result of that call, I asked you to do the flower beds on a regular basis. Then the true test came I had a broken sprinkler head and was not pleased with the way the back yard was looking. This was mainly in contrast to how wonderful the front yard was looking after just a month of your care. So now with a broken sprinkler head and the need to have someone look at the rear yard to see what we needed to be done to make it look like the front, my phone rang. It was Aaron Culp, we had a brief chat and he said he would come by that afternoon and guess what??? HE DID!!! He showed up on time and was just a great as Rose and the others. Aaron assured me that he would get the necessary people on the project. Never before have I been treated as well as Aaron treated me. He really made me feel important. What a treat, what a compliment and what a great team of people you have working for you. PLEASE dont change, please keep it up. They satisfied me on my yard mowing! Stepped in with relatively short notice and took care of my yard while I was on vacation.

My sprinklers quit working so we called Salcido Lawn & they were quick to come out & figured out the problem in no time. They also found 3 other sprinkler heads that had not been working that we never knew about. Great small business, family friendly & personable!

Called about a service they offer. Wouldnt even come out and estimate it.

I called them to get a small project done. The reception said that she would have the cleanup crew call me. Four days later, they still havent responded. If they dont want the job, they should just say theyre too busy--instead of leaving me hanging. I could have been looking for someone else to do it.

They put up my Christmas lights and they look really nice. They did what I asked in a professional manner and were responsive to my requests. I will use them for other jobs.

I cant say enough about Jamie and Robert. Its hard to find a company that is honest and truthful about their work. They came up to my door to relay to me that the initial placement of pop up for drainage line was an issue with a low spot in the yard. They made recommendations on new replacement and completed install with no issues! I cant say enough about honest and integrity today! I would highly recommend Salcido for any of your irrigation issues!. Thanks again!

My yard was in good shape prior to beginning service with Salcido. Over the year our yard has died. Their recommendation when I called was re-sod the yard. Which I get to do now but not with their crews. Damage done, lesson learned. To much money to watch yard get destroyed.

Although we had used a national company for the first couple of years, our lawn looked bad and was getting worse. We decided to try Salcido Lawn. It was a bit more pricey than the national company but we were were not happy with the value of what we were paying so we thought it would be worth it if our lawn looked better. After only a few treatments our lawn looked so much better!!! We have been very happy with the value we are getting for our money.
