After working in the business for 14 years and obtaining a bachelors degree in landscape architecture, Pedro Garcia chose to build his own company here in Twin Falls, ID. Roots Landscape is a company that is family owned and committed to the ideals of strong ethics and personal attention to every customer. Roots Landscape aspires to grow in the next several years to eventually own a nursery and rock yard as well. Building a strong foundation for the future of the company, we pay close attention to details to provide quality services. In addition to our design-build department, we have a professional garden care department that is available to help with any pruning of shrubs and trees, lawn care, and general maintenance of flower beds.

Pedro and his crew were on-time, and actually completed the job more quickly than planned. Pedro was super responsive to my concerns and listened to my requests in order to make landscaping choices. Very good at setting realistic expectations. The crew was professional and the site was always cleaned-up. I would definitely choose Roots again!
Our yard looks amazing, we had reached out to quite a few businesses that never got back with us. Pedro came and we told him what we wanted and he made it happen. We have received lots of compliments from our neighbors and family on how good they did on our yard. Pedro and his guys communicatied with on us very well on what they were doing. Roots Landscape built a beautiful pond in our front yard. It's such a peaceful atmosphere to sit out on our front porch and relax by the pond. We also get numerous compliments and people asking who did it. We are very happy with our landscaping! They also do our lawn maintenance during the summer and do a great job. It looks really professional as they trim, weed-eat, and blow any remaining clippings off the walkways and patio.
We worked directly with Pedro on our landscaping for our home that had completed in September of 2021. Initially we were referred to a different landscaping company and had nothing but communication issues from the beginning. After trying to get in touch with multiple companies we ran into the same problems...missed appointments or couldn't get anyone to call us back. After connecting with Roots Pedro came out to our house and it was seamless from our first appointment. We had roughly an acre of landscaping to be completed and his team did a phenomenal job from the curbing, sprinkling system, rock placement and design. We also were able to go to the nursery to pick out all the plants and trees we wanted and in addition had some insightful input from Pedro's team on what would thrive best in this area. We highly recommend Roots landscaping and will use them for any future projects or needs.
Pedro and his team did an amazing job with the landscaping of our new home. From the beginning when we were getting an estimate, he was super professional and quick to respond. My husband and I really appreciated him explaining what was needed and why, as well as his expert recommendations. We are novices in landscaping and he gave us great recommendations that fit our vision for what we wanted our yard to be in the future. He and his team worked quickly and completed our project on time and for an honest price. We really appreciate the whole team and their hard work!
Pedro and his crew were so awesome. They did grading, irrigation, fence, and grass on our new construction. Pedro and his crew take pride in what they do. The results are very high quality. Pedro won't be happy with the job until the customer is happy. He'll work with your budget. He'll work and rework the plans with you. You can trust Pedro's estimate and he won't nickel and dime you for whatever little things come up. After seeing all the work they did, I can say that the pricing is more than fair. I'll definitely call Pedro first for all my landscaping needs.
I had Pedro and his crew do some tree work at my house. I highly recommend this company. They did an amazing job! I can't believe how great my yard looks now with all the trees pruned and a huge tree removed. People tell me how much better my yard looks now and I could not be happier. I plan to have more work done in the future and will definitely use this company. Great value and great service.
We highly recommend Roots Landscape. We built a new home on a very difficult lot. Pedro drew up several plans that would address the problem areas and turned our entire lot into a dream oasis! Everyone comments how they thought this lot was useless and would never sell. Now it’s the envy of the whole neighborhood! Pedro took a vision and turned it into reality. Roots Landscape did a wonderful job on our landscape project that has transformed our backyard into a beautiful rock garden. The crew worked very hard and always put the customer first. Communication throughout the project was excellent and the companies desire to please the customer was very evident. I appreciated the opportunity to be involved in the choice of the pavers, trees, plants and stone. Roots Landscape is a professional company that is very knowledgable, dependable and creative. Roots told me they would come do our landscaping 3 weeks ago, no one showed up, no one called to say they wouldnt be there. After several voice mails in attempt to contact them I finally got a call back, I was told I would get a text with a quote and put on the schedule, one week later have not heard from them nor gotten a text and after 2 more attempted phone calls to try to get in contact with them and no result. It would have been nice to know if they didnt want the job or didnt have the job so that I would have made other arrangements to have my landscaping and trimming done earlier this Spring.
Got in contact with 4 different landscaping companies and Roots was the only one that showed up and did a quote. Used them for our curbing and sprinkler system, they did a fantastic job. If you can think it, draw it, or explain what you are wanting Pedro and his team will take care of you. Thank you Roots!!!
I knew Pedro when he was still in high school, and recently connected with him again when I saw him driving his Roots Landscape truck. My yard needed help as we took out a huge pine tree from back yard. I asked Pedro if he could help us figure out what to do with the hole in our yard. I am so happy with Roots Landscape and what Pedro and his team did for our back yard. So happy, in fact, Pedro and his team are on project number 2! Pedro guaranteed me he would be on site during the whole process. His crew pulled out all of my favorite poppies, cut my sprinkler line and broke several sprinkler heads! They also left a huge trench in between my curbing and yard so the grass didn t meet it! He replaced the poppies, but a year later and they still aren t the same. Most of his workers acted as if they didn t speak or understand English so it was frustrating trying to talk to them especially when Pedro was no where around
Pedro the owner is awesome!!! I ll admit I m not the best when it comes to sprinklers so when we bought a house that had them installed I couldn t figure out how to turn them on. My wife the all-star enters landscape into her google maps and without paying attention calls in. We get to talking with Pedro about coming and inspecting it. Come to find out she somehow connected out of state, so he couldn t inspect. Here is where Pedro goes above and beyond. He says let s FaceTime and I ll walk you through a couple of things. 5-10 minutes later we are up and running. We get some laughs and the experience was great. What I m trying to get at is, if the owner is willing to help and do a fantastic job for someone a whole state away, imagine what he is going to do for you locally. Thanks Pedro and Roots Landscape.
Unfortunately it s been 4 weeks since meeting with Pedro and still no bid or design. I reached out twice and was promised to have that information by end of day. Very disappointed because I d seen the great reviews and was very excited to get my project done
Roots landscape was great to work with. Stood behind the warranty of their work, very professional, always respectful. Couldnt have asked for a better company to do our landscaping. We highly recommend them for any job big or small!! And we will continue to use them for all our projects is the future!
Highly recommend!!! These guys are amazing! They are very professional, but even more so, kind! We forget to pick up the kids toys in the back yard a lot and they always set them up on the deck and take extra care. They always go the extra mile and we could not be happier!
I decided to do my own home improvement on my flower bed and bought some cement edging to go around it. Well I neglected to measure it and ran into the problem with a piece being to long. I called Roots to see how much he would charge to cut it for me and he said hed do me a favor and get it done for free!! They were all super friendly and got it done way fast. Ill definitely go to these guys if I need any work done and highly recommend them. Thank you guys again so much!!!
After reading the negative post from (Kenny Nield) it s clear this individual lacks the intelligence of understanding how professionals operate. We ve had the pleasure of seeing Roots Landscaping provide outstanding customer service and always going the extra mile in making our landscaping projects come to light. Pedro has constantly communicated to my wife on the latest details, recommendations, and ideas that would make our dream come true. Also, Pedro s crew arrives on time and they are ready to get the job done. As a manger myself, it s clear Kenny needs to be babysat when it comes to working as an adult, hence not surprising. We are happy with Roots Landscaping and highly recommend them!
These guys work fast, and they do good work. Pedro was good-natured about some last-minute changes we requested. Both the front and the back yards look great. Wed use them again.
