I'd been dealing with some bad soil brought in after an addition to my house. We had a huge stump in the yard, and couldn't get any grass to grow. Sportsman Lawn came out in 2 days and transformed our yard!
Sportsman lawn and landscape did an excellent job redesigning our backyard when we had our pool installed. They set up an irrigation system, redesigned our backyard for optimum use, built our fire pit and paver stone patio and maintain our backyard through their lawn care services. Our backyard is beautiful year round and we couldn’t be happier!
I was very pleased with the work that SLL did at my house . They put about a 150 foot seawall in our backyard bordering a lake and it was a complicated project because of some trees that had to be cut down and hauled off. Their employees were professional and courteous and really worked hard to do a top notch job. Others in our neighborhood have also used them for seawalls and those too look great . I would highly recommend them. They are eager to make your yard and outside area look nice !
I have nothing but great things to say about sportsman lawn and landscape. As a local business owner they have been taking care of and maintaining my property since I opened almost 10 years ago, if I ever have a problem they’re always very quick to solve it and always go above and beyond to make sure that I’m happy. I also use them for my home every quarter just to treat my yard. They’re always very mindful in letting me know when to leave the back gates open and put my dogs away so they do not get loose. I definitely appreciate the level of service that they have provided me!

If you want your plants planted in the wrong place with the roots exposed by unsupervised labor and mulch full of weeds for $6400 then by all means call Sportsman Lawn and Lawnscape and they will be right over.

We would not recommend them to anyone!!! They butchered our shrubs, left weeds in flower beds if anything was cut up when mowing they left it. They planted some of the cheapest plants in our front bed Some of them were still in plastic containers. We tried multiple times to get an itemized statement from them for the plants that we got We had to replace the ones in the front ourselves. My husband tried multiple times before we discontinued our service to get the owner out to try to reconcile the issues. So they won t show us the statement for plants and they have a bill that is outstanding because we did not get what we paid for and they wouldn t show us the itemized statement. They have turned it over to collections.
David Leslie (I hope I spelled last name right) is now St. David in my book. First, Brad really listened to me and understood how urgent it was for us to get our irrigation system reviewed after an unusually high water bill and closing on our house. He sent someone out immediately and took my problem seriously, which I greatly appreciated. David went above and beyond his job. He went through the crawl space and looked at the drainage and sump pumps that someone had messed with. He made suggestion on things we could do to further aid the drainage of the pumps and lateral lines and French Drains. I highly recommend them.
Not your ideal landscaping company. Owner hires 90% of workers from the broken lives ministry, & got zero experience in landscaping or lawn maintenance also pushes for unrealistic deadlines to make his $$$$$. Just like anything else you get the work out of the employees for what you pay them and the majority of them are barely above minimum wage.
Sportsman lawn for years has mowed my lawn, removed leaves in the winter from the ton of trees I have in my yard and every time the service men have been courteous and very polite and did a super thorough job. They are the best and I will always recommend. A+
