We have dealt with Tony several times, so when our lawn needed to be replaced we contacted him once again. He came out that same day and within a day or so had a fair and honest bid ready for us. Less than a week later his crew at Capital City Landscape came out to get the job done. Not only were they professional, skilled and on time - they did a beautiful job. As for cleanup afterwards, they took care of all of it and left the place looking just like it had before - uh, make that better than before because the new lawn looks amazing. If youre looking for someone to carry out almost any landscaping project, give Tony a call. You can count on him to do a great job and at a fair price. I also want to add, theres more to getting a project done, than just price. You want to know that if problems crop up later, the company is going to be around and be responsive to your needs. Responsive and diligent regarding understanding their clients requests and needs. CCL&M is both new and old school enabling them to service multiple generations of clients. The team at Capital City Landscaping did a great job at pruning, trimming, and clearing my embarrassingly overgrown front and back yards. They were very nice and professional and I was amazed at how good it looked afterward. They ve also been mowing and edging my lawn on a weekly basis and they ve always done a good job. Capital Landscaping & Maintenance was contracted to trim 4 ft from the top of my tree and to trim & shape a juniper in my front yard. I specifically told them that i wanted to maintain the secluded feel of my front yard & to continue hanging my hummingbird feeder on the front tree. What I got was all the lower limbs of my tree removed & a 4 foot gap between my juniper and arbovitae shrub. Now my neighbors can look into my yard and my hummingbird feeder is hung on a twig. When I called with my displeasure they did return to trim the top of my tree, as contracted. My invoice was reduced by $150 (in was $850) and was told that to offer any further discount would have the company paing out of their own pocket. And I was told, the limbs will grow back. The $150 discount will not even cover 2 arbovitaes to fill in the gap (the company told me cost to replace these would be $250 each). And while the limbs will grow back eventually, probably not in my lifetime- Im 70 years old. So now this company wants to send me-a 70 years old woman on a fixed income to collections. Not a good company. Not a company that takes responsibility for their mistakes. This is a company that expects their customers to pay for their mistakes.

Excellent work was performed on time and according to the estimate. The company was flexible and able to incorporate changes I wanted to make after work was already underway. The crew was friendly, professional, well trained and kept my yard immaculately clean throughout the project. Tony went above and beyond to locate difficult to find materials. I am pleased with this company and will continue to use Capital City Landscape in the future.

The team removed the sod in my front area, provided topsoil, landscape fabric and mulch in preparation for me to plant shrubs and flowering plants to replace grass. They were on time, everything done with care, taking care not to damage irrigation system, the end result was everything I hoped for. I would absolutely use them again! Value for service for sure.

This review is not a reflection of services performed as we ultimately did not use them. Called twice, mid day Thursday and again Friday, leaving messages for callback to quote a job. It was Monday evening when we were finally contacted. With no expectation for a weekend call, we felt the 2+ business days to get initial callback was excessive, and well exceeded that of other companies we called, and it set the tone for our interaction. These folks simply need to understand customer experience is an end-to-end proposition.

I had a tree pretty much cut the top of the second story of my shop in half. The top half of the tree was hanging out over the other side of the house, over our fence and some very expensive stuff that couldn t be moved. They didn t hit any of it when they removed the tree. The owner of Capital City Landscape Maintenance, Tony, was a pleasure to work with, and his team did a great job performing a number of landscape related tasks for me, including installing pavers in both my front and back yard, and new beauty bark in all the beds. Without my asking, Tony even had his team come back to do a bit more work to make sure everything looked just right. I also liked their automated system that kept me up to date as far as appointments and billing, etc. I would certainly recommend their services to others.

Tony & Dustan were so easy to work with. They quoted us a fair price & they did excellent work. While trenching our yard they had to make a big mess to lay pipe. Surprisingly, all the areas they trenched look better now compared to the way they were before they got there! I can t wait to use our new sprinkler system. Tony and his crew did an outstanding job planting a replacement tree, installing boulevard irrigation and replacing sod where an older, hazard tree had to be removed during these difficult, unprecedented times. Tony even arranged to have damaged sidewalk removed and replaced. The project was started then had to be put on hold due to COVID restrictions however as soon as work could commence, Tony and his crew at Capital City Landscape Maintenance went right to work and had the job finished straight away. I highly recommend Tony and his company for your landscaping needs.

We had large shrubs growing across the front of our house removed. Adam, the employee sent to do the job was very quick and efficient as well as very friendly. I ve worked with Tony and Capital City Landscaping on several landscaping projects. I found Tony to be highly organized and responsive. His team has always been on time, very diligent, careful and extremely hardworking. Most recently I had a tree fall across my driveway causing my family to be unable to get our vehicles out to leave our home. One call to Tony and he was able to get three of his crew to come over and clear the tree from our driveway within just a few hours. We really appreciate the quick response and the crews hard work to make that happen.

Capital City planted 12 trees and pruned my shrubs. They did a great job for a reasonable price and are a pleasure to work with. I was really impressed with the cleanup, too. Ill definitely hire them again.

We had a dead tree, 130+ plus feet on the edge of a bluff, taken down by Capitol City. This was after several failed attempts from other companies who couldn t or wouldn t attempt it. The tree guy was so good, he landed that tree between all our other standing trees other companies wanted to clear for easier falling. This was not an option because of erosion concerns on the bluff. We have two small trees we d planted and the guy fell them precisely between the seedlings even. They were quick, professional, and caused no damage. They re a safe bet if you need tree removal.

Hired them to level an area for a patio and fill a French drain. The land wasnt leveled correctly and when I let him know he blamed the concrete company. He should have taken responsibility as that is what he was hired to do. I would have accepted that if he would have owned up, even though the concrete cost doubled because of this.
