Nutri-Green Lawn Care in Tulsa

I m disappointed in how my account was handled. It s more the principle I suppose than the amount of money, I felt like they were being sneaky at best and unethical at worst. I was happy with their services but I lost my job towards the end of my 12 month contract. When I signed up I specifically asked the salesman what would happen if I suddenly couldn t afford this anymore, how easy was it to cancel, etc and he was so confidently reassuring me that I would only pay for services rendered. That my monthly charge was all services they performed in a year divided by 12 so he said it would depend on what they had done so far, example if they hadn t done anything yet then they would owe me money if I d already paid, but if they had then I would owe for what they had performed. Sounded fair. But after paying for the first full year I canceled my contract within days of it renewing, after being charged for the first new month, no further services had been performed it s January. I requested a refund and told they would consider it then said they were only giving me a % of the money back with no explanation except it s our refund policy . According to their terms and the salesman I should have gotten my full payment back. Detailed description below. I was late paying the last 2 months of the first year. I lost my job and had my debit card canceled because of fraud charges, it was a mess to get through but I finally was able to borrow the money from a friend to pay nutrigreen what I owed. I eventually called and apologized, explained I had to get a new debit card because of the fraud stuff, I gave them my friends card who was loaning me the money. I did not tell them the card I was giving them was not mine as I didn t think it would matter and frankly was embarrassed at the whole situation. I assumed since it was the end of my contract, and that I had struggled so much to pay them at the end, that they would not have renewed me for another year however I was wrong. That was fine it was my mistake for not knowing they did auto renew but what upset me was that they saved my friends card number on my profile and charged it the next month. I feel like they should have told me over the phone when I called to pay my old balance hey by the way would you like to use this card for your future payments since you have a new contract starting or hey by the way this card will be saved to your profile , ANYTHING like that but they didn t. Just thanks for finally paying us, then boom charged again the next month on that card. Still it wasn t THAT big of a deal, I politely emailed with someone at nutrigreen about the situation, she kept referring me to their terms about auto renew and I understood but said I need to request a refund then because that s not my money you charged and I don t want to renew. She basically said we ll think about it . Then a few days later came back saying we listened to the phone call and you said it was a new debit card so best we can do is an 80% refund. That really frustrated me for 3 reasons: 1) the sales guy when I started was so clear that if no services had been done in the current contract yet and I requested in a timely manner something like within 2 weeks I wouldn t have to pay anything. 2) she seemed to implying a gotcha by saying she listened to the call and I said I got a new debit card, which I did but that was just me explaining my financial mess that was why I was so late paying them, I did get a new card but the card I gave them was not that one, and why would it even make a difference in their decision on refunding me? It shouldn t. 3) nothing in their terms and conditions that she was so eager to refer me to say anything about an 80% refund. It s not that much money, but again it s the principle and I feel like this was just wrong and simply refunding me the full amount, a whole extra $20, could have saved them this negative review and left me with a positive opinion of them. Perhaps this review won t matter though and they would rather have that 20%, nonetheless here it is.

I m have used nutrigreen for a year now and my yard looks the same. I have never spoken to the technician. I used them to over seed my yard and I followed their watering schedule only for the technician to do a follow up visit and send an email that says I m not watering enough . Well ok so what should I be doing??? I m following the instructions they emailed me. I am not impressed and will be looking for a new company to service my yard.

We have had NutraGreen treating our lawn for one year. WE had massive weeds. Weeds that no one could even have a name for. Horrible. Our lawn is weed free, and I really like the tech who does our yards and our neighbors all around here. They sprayed for Mosquitos last year and we did not have much problems at all. I like Nutragreen and trust them.

We were desperate for help with our mosquitos so we messaged Michael and they had someone out within 48hrs. Our technician, David, called to introduce himself and took the time to explain what he d be doing. He showed up and sprayed in a timely manner and efficiently. It hasn t been 8hrs since he left our property and I ve not seen a single mosquito.

The lawn technician shows up when he says he will be there and has my backyard looking pretty good, the front lawn needs more attention, there s some stubborn weeds that I am sure he will address and rid the lawn of all weeds, it s just a matter of time.

This company is the Chick-Fil-A of lawn care! They have exceptional customer service, thorough treatments that don t break the bank, and amazing follow through. We never have to question what has been done in our yard because our personal tech sends us a detailed explanation of treatments and products used, lawn care tips, etc . We have been very have been very happy with Nutri-Green Lawn service. They are always punctual and very nice to work with.

Nutri-Green is a good LOCAL lawn care and plant/tree care company. I use them for weed and grass control in my planter beds as well as weed control in my lawn. This is my third growing season with them. Theyve helped me battle the Oklahoma invasive weeds (and grasses) as well as bag worms in my trees. They have fertilized each season as well.

They do what they say they will and communicate really well. Yard looks grwat.

So far I am happy. I need advanced notification in order to unlock my gates and make sure my dogs are inside. I was just in my backyard and noticed no nutsedge popping up. Usually this time of year the nutsedge is prolific in one area of my yard. I was with another well known lawn service and changed last Fall due to multiple reasons. Usually I would have to call them back to treat the nutsedge. I know it is difficult to control but impressed that I did not have to call them for another treatment.

I have tried many different lawn care companies, but Nutri-Green has more trained individuals to address issues and my lawn is always taken care of in a professional manner.

I went with nutri green after contacting quite a few area lawn care providers because they were the only company that said they didn t use 2,4-D in their herbicide. That was important to me as a dog owner.

Hey Michael, I thought about it and Im going to cancel my subscription with Nutri-Green and go back to True-Green to do my lawn. The Nutri-Green technician was out less than a month ago and Ive got dandelions growing in my front yard in less than 30 days. The fact that Nutri-Green is not willing to come back out and respray says your company doesnt stand behind your product. Please cancel my subscription effective immediately. I have had several national franchise lawn care services in the past. I decided to go local and am extremely pleased. My first treatment was completed the day I called!

Not satisfied with the removal of weeds this year, I do not think they spend enough time treating yard. It took a couple of weeks before they would come back for additional treatment. Not sure $500 a year for treatment is worth it.

Nutri-Greem is helping to restore grass to the brown spots in my yard, many types of weeds, and the Goat Heads that are a bane to my life when I am out in the yard. So far the service has been excellent.

For years, Lawn American did my lawn, and it looked great. When Lawn America was bought by True Green, and they started doing my lawn, I had a takeover of weeds that undid 10 years of service. I switched to Nutrient-Green and my lawn was back to being weed free within a year. Very happy with my technician.

We had majorly neglected our yard. It was 80% weeds. They started treating it about a year ago, and we ve seen SUCH an improvement! Weeds are gone and our bermuda is filling in nicely! Their techs are so nice and give me pointers to help between visits.

Just started my weed and fertilizer program. When I called they were very knowledgeable when I asked about leveling and aerating my lawn. Answered all my questions. After starting the program they came out two days later to treat my lawn. Left a lawn health report that was very thorough. Highly recommend this company.

When we bought our place nearly three years ago, the entire 1/3 acre was 80% weeds and dalisgrass. We signed on with Nutri-Green in March of 2023. Now, nearly a year later, it doesnt look the same place. Between Nutri-Green treatments and due diligence with my Toro Zero Turn mower, we are winning the war! By continuing the Nutri-Green applications and spraying the dalisgrass, our yard is going to look better than ever this year!

Horrible service. We switched to them 4-5 years ago from another company and I wish we hadn t. My biggest regret is not cancelling sooner, but the times I tried they always had some excuse so we stuck with them. We have so many more weeds since using this company. Our neighbors use another company and one does it themselves and their yards are in so much better shape than ours. We have an irrigation system and water very frequently and our yard is still completely full of weeds, some that we never had before and isn t green at all. We will not be using them anymore

My yard looked terrible when I turned to Nutri-Green. Within a few months, I could tell a big difference. 6 months later, you couldnt even tell it was the same yard! They do an excellent job controlling weeds, and have convenient emails updating you on treatments and status of your lawn.

I have been using Nutri-Green for almost 2 years. Their communication system is great, you always know when they will be performing their service, so you know to lock up pets with access to the yard. They have also performed additional services for me for army worms and grubs. I like that they have a 12 month installment plan (even though service is spring to fall) to make payments easy. This makes it very economical. Recommend!

I have talked to most of the technicians that have been here and they are all personable and good at their job. The over seeding under our shade trees turned out great. Happy to have green grass their again. They have sprayed for weeds and fertilized our lawn going on two years. They also spray the exterior of the house for bugs and spiders. Last year was the first year I could stop worrying about spiders in the house. I recommend Nutri-Green to anyone who is looking for a quality company to take care of their landscape needs.

2021 and 2022 when Tulsa had the severe freezing and ice, I lost a good portion of my Bermuda coupled with I had put a large amount of dirt out to fill low spots. My backyard looked like a huge mud hole. My tech always made sure to treat my entire law including the bare areas and each time he was here, we would talk and he would give instruction, thoughts and ideas to get my yard back in shape. Ending fall 2022 and beginning spring 2023, my yard is nearly covered back up with healthy grass. I cannot say enough about the service and advice he treated me to. Im grateful for all of it.

We were very pleased with the gentleman who treated our lawn this week. He told my husband what he was doing and then gave a very detailed report in an email.

Ive done my own lawn for years with great results. My co-worker was talking about his lawn and said he paid to have his done by you guys. I thought why not and have a break from doing it. So I signed up and Yada Yada. My lawn never looked good as far a uniformed green and fullness. It looked like it was dormant the whole time. When they first started according to them by their scale, my lawn was a 6 out of 9. I talked to a couple different employees that came out and they were clueless and said they dont know whats going on and recommended grub service when I know that wasnt the case. I called at the beginning of this year to cancel and the lady who picked up the phone was nice and pleasant until I said I wanted to cancel. She asked why and I told her. Not once did she try to rectify what was going on with my lawn or anything of the nature to keep a customer and said if I change my mind to call back. I think something was over applied or the ratio wasnt right in whatever they were using. Mistakes happen, its when you dont even consider a mistake was/could have been made is the problem. First picture is before I used them and second picture is 1 season of using them. Im not comparing the greenness, but the lack of grass and just dirt. What a waste of money.

This company is great. Very prompt and pays attention to the weather, if its rainy they call and tell me it will be the next day. I dont have to worry. I highly recommend them.

I have had Nurtigreen service my lawn for weeds for about a year now, and I can tell you there is a night and day difference. I mow less often than my neighbors and my lawn stands out on my street. My tech last time was Brandon, he was very attentive and thorough.

**RUN** - I wish I did. After 2 years of service and told to keep waiting and it will come around, it never did, they killed the weeds but also destroyed my lawn, both front and back. And when confronted about it, they try to upsell me another service. Spent over $2k with them, never felt so hustled before. Now I have to spend $$$ with another company to revive my lawn if even possible. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I guess this would explain the 1 - star reviews on the web.

We have used Nutri-Green for several years now. The same service rep has serviced our property for multiple years, so they dont appear to have staff turnover. After each application, the service rep explains what was applied and points out any problem areas and offers solutions on how to resolve. Their customer service is great. We have used them for lawn treatments, fescue over-seeding in the fall and aeration.

Warning for neighbors - do not hire Nutri-Green for lawn care. Twice they say they have serviced my yard, and they were not at my house. After the first no show, I requested they ring my doorbell and place a sign in the yard. I gave them another chance. They notified me they would be here last Saturday, so I waited all day. I have security cameras front and back. I have a dog. I can hear my doorbell. They didn t show but once again said they were here and placed a sign / rang my bell. I called at 5 pm on Saturday to report another no show. Then I drove around the neighborhood to see if any signs were in other yards thinking maybe they did the wrong house. They called me back on Monday to say they were here and placed a sign and rang doorbell. I said nope - I have proof on security and I was home waiting. There is no sign. Today they said sorry - we don t believe you. Our GPS shows he was there. They also said maybe someone stole the sign. I said come look at my security video. They said no and nothing they can do other than send someone out to tell me if it s been sprayed. They won t cancel my account. Are you kidding me??? Stay away, friends. 100% do not recommend.

I absolutely love this company! I had a problem in the beginning, but the company quickly corrected it. I think what makes me value them as a company is they simply corrected the issue. They didnt offer a free spray or other items added to the account. They apologized and corrected the issue company wide. I value that hands down!!! My lawn looks fantastic. They told us it would take a while because we missed the preemergent, but it already looks 90% better. Cant wait til next year Thank you to a top notch company!

I do not recommend this company. I stopped using a service with another company. I live in a cul-de-sac both my neighbors still use this other company that I stopped using. I went to Nutrigreen and my yard looks terrible. The whole time I ve lived here there hasn t been weeds this bad. My grass is covered in weeds and not only just one weed it s multiple kinds I have cameras all around my house. I watch them when they arrive to treat and they do not even spray the whole yard. You would think after the first few times I ve complained my yard would look good they would fix the problem.

I will be cancelling my service before the end of this month. I have never had this amount of weeds with TruGreen. This is absurd.
