Founded in 2009, Chase Lawn & Landscape is owned and operated by Chase O'Shea. Chase attended Monte Cassino, Bishop Kelley, and Northeastern State University with specifc focus on business and horticulture. What started out as a one man lawn service a decade ago, has grown into a successful local business providing a vast array of outdoor needs. While still providing lawn maintenance, Chase has evolved into being one of the largest competitors in the market in landscape design and build and seasonal needs such as snow removal and extensive Christmas light installation. All of these services still based on the honest, detailed, and committed work, which chase stands behind today!

I have used Chase Landscaping for close to 18 months and they have done a variety of activities for me! Initially they installed my irrigation system for me and created a custom backyard oasis. Chase has also done the yard maintenance for the last 2 summers and has done a great job of keeping the grass trimmed and looking great. Last Christmas they installed a custom color light display on our home, removed the lights, stored them and reinstalled the display this year. The employees are always responsive when I report an issue for any of the services. I would strongly reccomend Chase for all of the services.
My lights were put up within days of my order. They showed up at the time they were supposed to. Great customer service as well.
The house looks great. They were great with communication and the lights were up quickly after we paid the $1 deposit. Best price we were quoted. Definitely worth the money to have custom lights that fit the house perfectly and don’t need to be stored by us.
EDIT: In the business's response, they only address why the guy was running behind, which again I wasn't too concerned with originally (i.e., its not a big deal). They then point how how I said they were likely running behind from mowing and that they do more than that. I'm not an idiot. I know there's a business to run and other things they do. I just felt there was no need for me to list out ALL the services they do, such I put "mowing and SUCH" to include all the other stuff. They then claim that I didn't seem interested, which is completely wrong. Literally, the lady I spoke with I specifically said I wanted the full services, not just someone to mow. She said that was perfect. Then the guy came over for the quote and I said up to this point in time, I've just been using lawn maintenance companies that do like fertilizing, weed control, etc. and that I've been mowing my own lawn. I then said, VERY CLEARLY, that I wanted the full package. I even asked them about dethatching and aeration, if that was included. Why would I ask for all that if I only expected them to mow. They then talk about it being a communication issue, which I disagree with because I was very clear in my request. Also, as a side note, I was a Director of Communications for 5 years for the state, and a Public Affairs officer in the Army for nearly 7, so don't try to blame the communication issue on me. Lastly, if you "felt I wasn't interested", that's no excuse to just ghost me or ignore me for weeks, especially when I'm trying to reach out to you on multiple occasions. If I wasn't interested, I wouldn't keep trying to reach you. ORIGINAL: Called 9/6 and spoke with a Kristal (who was nice and friendly) about getting a quote for service/maintenance on my lawn. Scheduled an appt. for someone to come by 9/12 at 3:15pm. I had a hard 4pm cut off though. The guy (Chase) didn't show up until 3:54pm, which I just assumed he was running behind from a previous job because I know you can't be perfectly down to the minute on mowing yards and such. However, he was dressed in nice clothes just "running errands and time got away." I wasn't too happy about that, but I just shrugged it off. I understand sometimes things just happen. He said he's have the quote to me that evening or the next day at the latest. 10 Days passed by and I heard nothing. So I texted them on 9/23 and asked about the quote, in which Kristal said she'd "let Dakota know". It is now 10/6 and no word from them. So, I'm giving up and would rather not do business with someone who can't show up on time (or at least have a legitimate excuse), and how repeatedly fails to answer calls/texts and get back with you about what they promise.
I called to make a repair in the sprinklers system. Drew Hoggard returned my call and came very fast. I appreciated his knowledge and criteria to establish the working solution. He gave me upfront an idea of the amount that the full repair would cost. Finally, he was very efficient doing the work. I would highly recommend.
We contracted with Chase to fix a flood prone area and to build a concrete pathway from the East side to the West. We had a deck area removed that was prone to flooding and install a concrete patio from the pathway to our front gate. We also had them put in decomposed granite from the house in back up to the pathway. Chase was extremely professional and worked with us to accommodate our wishes and exceeded our expectations. His crew were professional, on time, and worked hard each day to do a great job. We were so happy with the work done that we decided to have them do our driveway and front sidewalk as they were finishing the work in back. I would 110% recommend this company for any hardscape or landscaping. We have more work for them in the next few months and I would absolutely give my endorsement for any work you might want to improve your yard. We made the right choice and we have a beautiful patio and pathway in back and the same with the driveway and sidewalk to show for it. My wife and I have thanked them numerous times but I am glad to again thank them publicly for the beautiful work and major improvement to our home
I want to share my only experience with Chase (the owner himself). I own a vacant lot in a gated community that for the last 3 years Chase's crew has blown leaves (2+ acres) and thrown yard debris from the home next door. After speaking with him about this in person Chase ensured me he would take care of it. Instead he never followed up and after I reached out to ask about cleaning up what his crews had put on my lot he lied about the series of events over the past few years. I would recommend using someone else with more integrity than Chase. I expect business owners to do the "right" thing when the situation arises and not be driven strictly by profit when they make mistakes. Very disappointed in Chases lack of professionalism and integrity.
We bought our home in Dec 2020 with a completely barren back yard. It was basically mud and leaves. We had a dream to create an oasis that would be a great place to relax, unwind and spend time with family. Chase and his team made our dreams come true! We first started the planning and quoting. We requested several modifications and a new drawing and quote was submitted quickly. Ultimately, the patio and retaining wall combined to be 750 sqft which included a stone fireplace, wood boxes, several zones for seating, hot tub and hammock, trees, landscaping and nearly a complete sodding of the property. This was no small job! Once we agreed on the design and materials, the team got started. The crew worked tirelessly to get the project completed on time but the weather did not want to cooperate. However, no matter the delay, Chase remained in contact with us and as soon as the conditions were good, they continued their work. The whole crew were professional, polite and considerate. We have a very large dog that they had to be mindful of, and they were great with him too! The patio is absolutely stunning! We can’t believe it’s ours! We spend every single night out there! It was worth every penny! The quality of the work is second to none! If you want a project done well, by professional people, look no further.

We contacted Chase Lawn & Landscape to remove about 12 -15 root balls. These were from a 40 ft. run of Red Tip Photinias that we had cut down due to being diseased. Chases crew showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They were able to get these very large and deep rooted balls out in about 45- 60 minutes. They cleaned up the area and hauled everything away, leaving the area ready for the next step of adding better dirt and laying some sod. I would highly recommend using this company as a preferred vendor.
I was fortunate to find Chase when my usual irrigation guys were unavailable. I called in the morning and they were out for service that afternoon. Drew was able to figure out the problem, fix a sprinkler head, adjust my programming all within an hour. Highly recommend!

Our backyard was very bumpy - with lots of ankle-twister spots that I would hit when I would mow. The zoysia that had been there for years was very problematic in the winter. Chase Lawn & Landscape regraded our entire backyard and installed bermuda sod. It looks amazing and is so much easier to care for, plus no more twisted ankles! They did a great job with quality work and communication, and the entire crew was friendly and punctual. Wonderful company to work with for your landscape projects!

The guys were amazing. I had a tough job with an instillation of a french drain and some garden work and they came out and did an amazing job. They were personal, quick and really know how to put a garden together.

Christmas lights look great and the key fob is a nice touch.
They take care of our parking lots and sidewalks to remove snow and pretreat for ice. They do a great job and even contacted me this year to make sure we wanted on this years list. Thank you. I thought we were only getting a little snow and it turned out to be 6 inches, so glad they were on the job. I even had Tennants call and thank me for the great job. We definitely recommend Chase and his company.

Great service. Me.O shea not only answered every call I had and every question, he did it with a great attitude. He personally inspects and even helps out on jobs and his crew. We had a landscape deal that was well priced and a large job. He showed up at my house serval times over a weeks span just to check in with me and answer any questions I had in person. I will now also be using him for his lawn care service too. Great people who work there and a very in touch boss!

Caring company
I wouldn t let anyone else touch my yard after these magicians got a hold of it. They turned my rock hard dirt back yard into a green grassy wonderland. After several lawn companies had failed me, Chase Lawn and Landscape rode in on its noble steed and delivered me the land of milk and honey. Thank you Chase Lawn and Landscape for your miraculous yard enhancing performance.
Unfortunately, they dont do ivy removal but they took time to help me find companies that may be able to help me. Very polite and helpful. Would hire them if they did removal.
After finding my first rental home keeping up with my yard started becoming very difficult with working full time and being a full-time student. Chases Lawn and Landscape has done a fantastic job at keeping my yard looking great. Their communication is unmatched (unlike other places ive tried) and I never have to worry about things being done correctly.
2 appointments, 2 no shows. Disappointing. Would have given 1 star, but gave 2 since they were apologetic.

TLDR: Choose another company. This was a completely frustrating experience for high priced, low quality work which was ultimately not corrected. -- I reached out to Chase Lawn & Landscape at the beginning of June to get an estimate on dirt work, sod and a drain for one of our downspouts. We setup an initial appointment for them to come by and no one showed. More than an hour after the scheduled time, I called them up. Chase apologized and came out later that afternoon. I regret choosing to overlook this red flag. I ll just cover the other main issues that we experienced: Sod was not installed in all areas as required. Sod was improperly installed in some areas. Pieces were not cut appropriately and overlapped considerably. The dirt work resulted in the sod being installed too high around our gates. Our gates would not open or close without dragging up the sod. Their work damaged our sprinkler system, resulting in it not being able to water the new sod. This was only discovered after they had left and I had spent time fixing their work, trimming gates, etc. Despite irrigation installation being listed as one of the services they offer on their website, they had to have another irrigation company come out to make the repair. The work was done on a Friday and the repair didn t get completed until Monday. This resulted in considerable inconvenience watering the new sod and required further time commitment at home during the 3-hour sprinkler system repair. The connection from our downspout to the new drain they installed was very poor quality. They took our existing downspout attachment and literally taped it to our downspout. The sprinkler repair resulted in this being damaged as well. I ve attached a picture to this review showing this work. After all of this, I decided to go back and review the footage from our exterior cameras to see if there was anything else I should be concerned about. I quickly discovered that they had only installed 3.5 pallets of sod when we had paid for 5. This work was completed on June 14th. After a lot of back and forth I finally received a check for the 1.5 pallets of sod and 1 hour of labor on August 3rd. Earlier that week I had confirmed that the check (a second attempt) was sent out on July 29th as had been promised. When I received it, it was postmarked August 2nd. Chase did agree that the downspout connection could have been done much better and offered to come out and correct it personally. Despite having welcomed this, nothing ever came from it.
I use Chase Lawn & Landscape for two HOAs I am involved with. They do an excellent job, are very price competitive and always follow-up if we have a question or a need.
Make sure the work is 100% complete before final payment. I paid in full and he was to put tree rings around the trees that they planted in our back yard. After texting and phone call and a few weeks past I finally bought the tree rings and installed them my self.

He has been mowing my lawn for some time now and I have seen such a growth in the quality of the services he provides. Chase and his crew are very good at what they do. They mowed perfect lines and edged perfectly. What was very nice is that swept up all the loose grass and bagged it and blew everything off where my lawn looks like a golf course. If you need anything to do with lawn and landscape these guys are the best!

The crew did a great job! Grass clippings were cleaned up and all edges well trimmed, even picked up and disposed of a few smaller tree branches I had laying in the yard. Would recommend to friends!
