The work is still to be done, but we have seen the yard of our neighbor who recommended Tucson Turf. We had several estimates, and this was not the cheapest. The difference was that Jimmy knew his product and business inside out. Without selling, he went over all of our options, suggested landscaping changes (which TT doesnt do), answered all of our questions and made sure that we understood the details that go into installing a yard that we can use and enjoy. Tucson Turf is the most professional turf installer Ive interacted with. I contacted the owner, Jimmie, and we set a time later that afternoon for him to come over and estimate the job. He was consistent in communicating via text, showed up on time, and was a pleasure to interact with. He shared his knowledge about the product he recommends and why, as well as practical information about how his team will handle the install. Ive struggled to get other providers to return calls, many have said theyll show up and dont. Tucson Turfs professionalism stands out in the category.

I called many turf companies to purchase some scraps for my dog who is passing soon, the only company that would give me the time of day was Tucson turf. Jimmy was fabulous, he was able to fix me up with what my dog and I needed. It is very difficult to find a local company that does business the right, this is one of them. We will be looking to get an estimate on putting in some turf soon and they will be the first ones on my list.

They have a child playing happily in their commercial but what I wish you all could see is how unhappy my children are playing inside the house because the new backyard we paid Tucson Turf for is leaking water from the irrigation they fumbled. Then took zero ownership & had zero urgency in trying to address it even when escalated all the way up to the owner Toby. They had an excuse for everything including failing to respond for days at a time, failing to notify us our backyard was leaking out of the old heads, (they didnt knock on the door & tell my wife who was home, they didnt call me & leave me a voice mail, they didnt send me a pic or a text) then tried to say we didnt touch that box it couldn t have been us! as if this box just started to leak on its own after being bone dry for the 5 years weve lived here the same day these guys started working our irrigation. Also had an excuse for why we paid for gravel that they still havent laid in a certain area, why they couldnt level a simple 10x14 area dirt patch for a shed, & why they dragged their feet for over 7 days after explaining to them the extremely urgent leak they caused. Jimmie, their salesman will know everyone in your neighborhood, he will overpromise & under deliver everything you are willing to believe. He said he would schedule the project on my day off. He didnt. He said he would be here when we broke ground, he wasnt. In fact he was on site maybe 20 minutes of the 48 hours in took to complete. He said he could run a simple poly line to a tree, it resulted in an irrigation nightmare that they took zero ownership of. We even offered them Gatorade & were nice to them. We had to pay another landscaper to clean up their mess. I have all the screenshots, pictures & receipts to back my claims if they care to challenge any of this. & am happy to chat with anyone who has questions about our experience. Tucson Turf did an amazing job turning our backyard into somewhere we want to be! It completely changed the whole feeling of our home - something I didn t expect! We knew we wanted turf for a little while but wanted to go with a company that was reputable, local if possible, and ideally had a warranty -Tucson Turf fit the bill! I appreciated how straightforward and honest Jimmie was through the entire process, and the workers who installed it were also very respectful and worked quickly. We have 2 dogs and a baby and we ve all enjoyed having a place to hang out together!

This is the first company Ive used thats ever shown up on time. Jimmy came out to quote me a month in advance and have me a fair price and the starting day. The crew showed up exactly on time and was extremely nice and informative. I had a TON of turf to place and in a very awkward spot, but they were able to knock it out quickly. Ive got a few more spots I need done, so I will 100% be reaching out to these guys again. EDIT: 2 or so years later, I used them again. Just as great now as it was back then. Turf from 2 years ago still looks brand new as well. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend.

Dude was punctual and professional. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because the estimate was around 4k for less than 1000 square feet. Around 800 square feet if my math is correct. His products were great and I would still give him my business if it wasnt as steep. I was able to get the same stuff for a little under 3k. Again this guy did nothing wrong. I got a really good deal with someone else cause of other people I know.

The whole staff including the crew that came to our home were very customer service oriented. They answered every question with professionalism. This was the best investment to our home that weve made and our dogs love it. Their warranty far surpasses any other warranty out there.

My wife and I wanted to get something done for our back yard for the longest time. When we figured out that turf was the move we called a few places yet Tucson Turf (Jimmy) called us back the next day and came out the day after that. Six years ago Tucson Turf did an amazing job of laying our turf in the backyard of our home. Out of no fault of their own, the product degraded this year. Thanks to our warranty with Tucson Turf, not only did the manufacturer of the turf replace it for free - the labor cost was covered as well. WOW - is that amazing or what. Jimmie came out to our house to inspect the previous turf and knew just what to do. Wendy was amazing getting us scheduled. The crew that installed our new turf was so friendly and great at what they do. Thanks Tucson Turf for an all around amazing experience. We wouldnt recommend anyone else but you guys.

Recently had Tucson Turf do an install of their Ventana Spring Synthetic Turf, also had them install pavers and gravel in my backyard. The crew showed up on time everyday that they were doing the install. They were very professional and explained every step that they were doing. Initially a little miscommunications but then owner reached out to us and did everything possible to turn the situation around! The crew they sent out to install the turf were absolutely wonderful. Incredibly hard workers and extremely professional and polite. In the end, we are extremely pleased with our turf and our doggos really love it too!!

I contacted Tucson Turf in April and had an appointment with Jimmie. He is knowledgeable and had good suggestions. I wanted a block patio, tree well and artificial turf. The job was scheduled for June 21 but due to delays it was completed August 5. Lalo and his crew from AZ Native Landscaping, an associate did an amazing job and the completed job is awesome. The reason I cant give more than 3 stars is because Jimmie failed more than once to return my calls. Nothing bothers me more than when you leave a message with a company and they dont call back in a timely manner.

They got me in when I was off work..right after New Years. Everyone else had a 2 week delay. Did a great job at a very competitive price. All good things to say. Would recommend them.

As one of the thousands of customers Tucson Turf has had over the years, Im now in the market to upgrade my turf as Ive got something a little more manicured in mind. No company is perfect. None of us expect that. So when reviewers leave 5 stars either a company really is exceptional - or the reviews arent objective. Most of us real customers think meh and dont write a review at all. Now, four years later as a potential repeat customer, reading the experience of the only dissatisfied customer Tucson Turf has apparently ever had reminded me of my mine. My grass looks OK but before and after the installation I was just $$ to them. The customer-first piece was missing. Apparently it still is. Guess who Im not going to call?

From start to finish this was a seamless process! Jimmie answered all of our questions and helped us to create a space we have been dreaming about! The crew arrived on time and finished in the time frame they said! All employees are friendly and helpful. Our backyard is amazing!! We are so impressed with Tucson Turf and are incredibly grateful!! I met with Tucson Turf s salesperson (Jimmie) to discuss turning a grassed area at my home into artificial turf measuring about 500 sq ft. The area encompassed 4 established fruit trees and the tree wells surrounding them. In my discussions with Jimmie I indicated my desire to have the tree wells finished with some kind of visually pleasing border. In addition I wanted the existing water lines used for irrigation of the grass buried under the turf and capped off above ground in the backyard for future water use (misting, waterfall etc.). I indicated I would be prepared to pay extra for these requirements. Throughout the conversation Jimmie assured me that they accommodated requests like this all the time and they would look after me . I signed a contract for just under $5000 and put 50% down, and was given a date for about 2 months in the future. A week ahead of the installation I still hadn t heard anything about the tree wells or water lines, so I contacted the office (Wendy) by email, and was directed to call Jimmie. So I did. He assured me everything would be taken care of and promised to have his tree guy call me. Indeed tree-guy did call but could only free up time on the evening before the installation. When I went over my thoughts on the tree wells with him he seemed a bit incredulous that he was expected to do anything in less than 24 hours, but told me he d be in touch with Jimmie. The next day the turf was installed. I met the workers. They were amicable and helpful. Their end-product was a respectable job. Nice levelling and water run-off. Good base excavation and preparation. No visible seam-lines. Good-looking grass. However, I couldn t find the capped off water lines. They weren t done. The tree wells weren t done either. The turf had been cut in a circular pattern around the wells, but only in a 3-foot radius, not the 6-foot radius tree-guy and I had talked about the night prior. In addition the sand had not been removed from inside the tree wells, but instead lay 3 deep right up to each tree trunk. Of course I called Jimmie who assured me they would look after it. He volunteered to come over and look after the tree wells himself, which I politely declined. We signed off the call with him promising he would get back to me. I didn t hear anything so called him a few days later and left a voice-mail message. He never returned my call. Over the next 3 weeks, my fruit trees began to wilt despite aggressive watering because of the thick layer of sand suffocating their root systems. I paid my own landscaper to cut the turf around the tree wells back to a 6 foot diameter. I hauled out four or five 5-gallon pails of sand per tree ( half a cubic yard of sand), dumped it in my front yard, and paid for removal. I bought my own paving stones and lined the tree wells to finish them. The project took me 2 ½ weekends to complete. The water lines can no longer be run without ripping up the turf. Seven months later, without any explanation of the delay or offer of reconciliation Tucson Turf sent me an email invoicing me for the remaining $2420. I m going to pay it because I signed the contract, which of course only spelled out the turf installation not the project Jimmie assured me would be completed to my satisfaction. I had a conference call with Jimmie and the owner (Toby). Jimmie denied pretty much everything. Toby offered to provide a discount on a maintenance contract for the turf, which is decorative in a low traffic area so doesnt need maintenance. I thought splitting the difference in the outstanding balance would have been a nice gesture to avoid ending this all on a bad note. But the best Toby could offer was $200 reduction in the final amount (4% discount). Should the Best Turf Company in Tucson Three Years in a Row be able to finish their own product around trees, manage existing water lines, and provide top-notch customer satisfaction for their top-dollar prices? Or hide behind their contract? You be the judge. Thanks for your 20 minutes Toby.
