The Garden Gate in Tucson

I give this place ZERO stars! THE most unprofessional people we have EVER dealt with. Lack of experience and terrible work. Their employees failed to detect 2 OBVIOUS leaky valves, costing us a $500 water bill for the month. Nobody returns phone calls!!

Reached out for an evaluation and estimate on a fairly significant project in our backyard. Got a cursory email response: "Sorry to say, we are unable to consider your project due to workload and staffing issues."

It breaks my heart to review The Garden Gate so low, ever since moving to Oro Valley I thought they would be a phenomenal place to go based on reviews but the experience I got over the phone changed my mind. My wife and I bought a new build and are finally able to do backyard work. I called a little over a week ago and left a voicemail, someone did call me back. The conversation from the individual changed my mind, the gal told me that they are very busy and she would pass my info along to the manager and they would get ahold of me if they "had the time". I have not heard from them at all. All I wanted was a quote, I would have been cool with it will be months before we can get out, but nothing. I highly recommend you pass The Garden Gate up so they can get "caught up" on their work.

Can't really comment on the work. We visited their facility, left our contact info, and sent an email two days later. Have heard nothing after four days. Would have expected at least a phone call to set up an appointment or let me know they were too busy.

I just completed a projected with The Garden Gate and I am delighted. The project was performed with efficiency and professionalism. Gil led the project management and he was dedicated, experienced, thoughtful, and very professional. Ashlynd provided me with beautiful design options and gorgeous plants. I am absolutely delighted with the entire operation. No problems at a very reasonable price point. I am now anxious to begin the second phase of the landscape work. You want a gorgeous yard...call them!

these guys use sub contractor don't let the design center foo you ,unlicesened sub contractor do all there work and they will over price 5x time cost they really price the sub contractor ,go with a company that does there own work you will save more .
