Santa Rita does my neighborhood in San tan valley refuses to mow any park weekly weeds or 4 ft high this is the worst money grubbing landscape company I've ever been a part of my entire life
Thomas and his crew did an amazing job. He thoroughly answered all of my questions. They cut down a huge, sick tree and cleaned up more than the tree remains. My yard is super clean. All three crew members delivered excellent customer service. They did not take any shortcuts; instead, they went the extra mile. My neighbors were impressed to see how quickly they completed the job. I will look no further for future landscaping needs.
A wonderful group of concerned, talented workers, managers, and supervisors. Struggles office-to-field miscommunication. Frustrating to those wanting to provide exceptional services as do those of us who get landscaping services. Todd (trusted Design Consultant presented a wonderful concept), and sincerely eager to provide what we had asked for. From the start, found method of project management (i.e. Phase ONE completed / paid, then proceeding to Phase TWO, etc.), perhaps for Santa Rita easier presenting this to most customers (financially speaking?); but our experiences these many months, drew out our process far too long, thus opened it up to more misunderstandings. We soon found mistakes on our job seemed to stem from this fact yet remained a given on how we would proceed with Santa Rita – to the point we almost backed out of considering starting our second phase! We experienced unfortunately, that plans we had asked for in written and verbal detail in initial consultation, early-January with Todd, when finally back almost 2 months later for our approval – needed still around 85% to be ‘redone.’ Plans for our “custom” gardens, appeared instead to be ‘stamped out’ – rather than designed with our project's wants/needs! It was opposite of the notes Todd left here with, on our first day. Rather than presenting a custom project plan following “timed & irrigated low-water use” planting of pre-chosen bushes for our “Butterfly / Hummingbird / Bee Garden,” Santa Rita's instead was for minimalistic desert xeroscaping with cacti and boulders. In spite of initial verbal approvals, we received 'official' plans, so different it set our project behind another month; as no one in scheduling had ever cued us up, even with our deposit long cashed... Todd seemed lost at times between what he thought was happening and what THE OFFICE was doing (or not!). We felt frustrated, began to lose trust in the process. Needing to check up better, even supervise what their crews were doing, for ourselves, that they were following OUR specifically-desired design, as we had originally approved – rather than being told, by our initial “Custom Residential Supervisor,” Lalo (first to trigger real 'regret,' in us having taken on this project with Santa Rita), when his harsh answer to our questions was simply, “these ARE your plans!” Questions that included things like, why we were scheduled for eleven - 5 gal. containers (of various plantings), yet only received eight, with most in a 1 gal. container, plus there was only two different types of flowering bushes! Not the healthiest looking either; especially for the price we chose to invest-in, given our very small yard, and our garden’s best future outcome. Meanwhile, we are unfortunately now at the end of May, and we still are waiting for three additional 5 gal. plants and irrigation to my pots, as still listed on our original project contract (which stated properly our job, yet rarely matched the project plans given to the crews). Jobs will often cost more, and yes – do go over completion times, that were promised. Simple fact remains, unfortunately for our family, all this miscommunication from the start of January (although they have “been responsive”) means we have missed-out on ALL of our Spring 2024 celebrations – parties that had been planned for when we started back in early January – then promised they’d have no problems finishing up by the end of March, both for my mid-April birthday, and what had started all this when we first bought our new home: our Open House Celebration with introduction to our new neighbors… now many have left for the summer, so we will be planning a late fall party instead. Hope things progress easier, finish-up soon.
Thomas came out to look at mesquite tree that had been neglected for many years. The tree had plenty mistletoe and other problems. His recommendation was to cut down the tree and replace. His team came out, cut down and replaced the tree quickly. My yard has not looked this good since we moved in 32 years ago. His team is very courteous and professional.
After meeting with landscaping companies, we hired SRL for our courtyard project and we are completely happy with our decision. SRL transformed an empty space and built a custom water feature, created a wall of plants and had specially-designed wall trellises installed. Coming from CA, we did not know if a living wall was practical in the AZ weather but Jeremy listened to what we wanted and incorporated everything into the design while staying cohesive to the style of our home. Keone (our project manager) checked in regularly, kept us well-informed and made sure our courtyard was ready in time for family who was visiting. Alex handled the day-to-day and he is very detailed-oriented. The entire team was professional from beginning to end, and they worked with our budget without compromising our vision.
We used Santa Rita to design our yard and install it. Everything turned out great. It was a good experience and their crews were fantastic. You won't be disappointed.
The storm knocked down my mesquite and the guys were really kind. They saw me outside and asked if I wanted it removed as they were doing a neighbors house and I mentioned it wasn’t in my budget. They came the very next day out of the willingness of their heart and not only removed but also helped me plant a new one. Not only were they quick and efficient they were very professional. I recommend them 100% . If I could rate them 10 stars I would.
I would like to commend the folks at Santa Rita Landscaping for a job well done installing our new landscape design — which was previously a patch of dirt that came with the house when we purchased it eighteen months ago. The design was created by their in-house design team who responded to our wish-list, along with their intimate knowledge of which plants would survive and/or thrive in our desert climate. The final design called for paved walkways and seating areas, a water feature, a turf area, and generous plantings with rich textures and colors. The installation was led by Enrique who, along with his crew, executed the design with precision, efficiency, and thoroughness. Enrique proved to be very knowledgeable and quite skilled at laying the pavers, building the water feature, and installing the plantings and irrigation. While working in Arizona’s extreme June heat, they completed the job in a timely manner, accommodating our personal design “tweaks” and maintained a cheerful and courteous demeanor. Keone, the project manager, was also very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the buildout and resolved all issues quickly. We would be pleased to recommend Santa Rita Landscaping to anyone interested in a quality landscape installation project.
There awesome
Do not work for this company. They will steal from your paycheck. When you first hire on they make everyone buy a set of 75$ shirts despite not being required to wear them. These shirts will fall apart the first time you put them in the wash. The NEW payroll system they use automatically deducts a lunch break from your time clock whether or not you choose to take one. The same time clock system also will not show your clock in and clock out times or prompt you to approve your time sheet. You will only have a count of the total hours you worked that day. Once a new day starts you won t be able to see yesterdays hours. You have to rely on your manager to manually remove the lunch break from your timesheet every day. If there is a mistake you have to hope your supervisor was diligent enough to remember fix it. The old system didn t have this problem we could see our hours for the entire week along with in and out times. So when you go to the labor board to get whatever hours they WILL owe you. Not only will Santa Rita not respond to the labor boards requests you will also have not enough to get the labor board to get your owed pay.
Thank you Oscar and Lorenzo.. I love at Emerald Square Apt in Tempe..they do landscaping for apartments..I asked them about trimming a tree and they were on it.. also helped my husband move a piece of furniture because was to heavy for me.. thank you both so much..they represent your company.. awesome men..
Truly awful company. They routinely park their landscaping truck behind my car, preventing me from leaving my own residence!!! When I confronted them about, landscaper got argumentative and nasty. They are also very slow. Stay far away!
Good
Thank you for clearing and trimming the lantana bushes from the entrance and sidewalk to our apartment. Now my husband can stay safely on the sidewalk in his power wheelchair. Also I appreciate the whole sidewalk being cleaned today after the recent rainstorm left a mess of leaves and nuts on it.
Hires employees who illegally park the company vehicle (#1045) and trailer across all the handicap parking spaces at the Wendys side parking area located in the Safeway shopping center at Campbell & Prince today, Monday, July 14, 2024. Could not use any of the spaces. Have picture to document their employees stupidity. Company does not answer calls to their HR or operator either. Wouldnt use this business!
John Kruger, Sammy, Rick Rupkey and the crew from Santa Rita is amazing! They are constantly working and we never see them slacking. Our community has never looked better. We really appreciate them.
Thomas from Santa Rita recently came out to work on several trees across our property. Thomas was knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with. Our trees look so much better and I am confident they will still be standing after the monsoons. Thank you, Thomas!
Thomas McDermott (Santa Rita Landscaping Certified Arborist) and his team trimmed 10 of the extremely high, ancient pine trees on our HOA property, and homeowners and residents were extremely appreciative in the quality of the work, the courtesy of the crew and the great cleanup.
Thank you so much to the Arbor crew from Santa Rita Landscaping; Thomas, Certified Arborist, Alejandra, Arborist in-Training and Sasha, Crew Member. It is obvious that the entire crew really enjoys and takes pride in the work they do. I would most definitely recommend the Arbor Services of Santa Rita Landscaping. Pricing was reasonable and the job was completed beyond my expectations. This past Saturday the Arbor Crew removed a much-loved Palo Verde that was unfortunately riddled with mistletoe, planted a beautiful tree in its place and also planted two other trees on my property. The crew were very professional and courteous. They made sure they knew exactly what I wanted before the work began. The job was completed quicker than I expected and they left the work areas cleaner than when they arrived. Thomas even left the stump evenly cut so that I could put my St. Francis statue back in its place in the garden. If I have any tree work required in the future on my property I will without hesitation be calling back the Santa Rita Landscaping Arbor crew. Im extremely happy with the work they performed. Thank you for a job well done.
Thomas from Santa Rita, the arborist, transformed our trees today with expert pruning and trimming. His passion for tree health shines through in his meticulous work. Thomas is not only a skilled professional but also a great communicator and a kind-hearted individual. We are thrilled with the results and wholeheartedly recommend his services.
Thomas, the certified arborist did a fantastic job removing the palm trees in my courtyard. It looks wonderful and I am very pleased. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable I would recommend Thomas for any tree work. He will be coming back to work on other trees on my property.
Santa Rita did a great job regrading a large alley in the community. They were on schedule in the planning, and execution and finished the project as promised. This was a significant project and it went smoothly. Todd, Keone, and Alex did a fantastic job. The alley is almost a work of art. More importantly, the regrading is working and doing its job. Thank you Santa Rita Landscaping and your talented team.
Thomas did a nice job clearing/chipping a huge pile of dead branches!
The absolute worst. They cut my oleanders down to 18 inches from 7+ feet high they whacked a bush in front of utility box to nothing. It was a beautiful Lantana now Im looking at an ugly utility box. I am horrified I will sell my unit or rent it to someone that doesnt care, Milano Terrace, you really screwed up
My condo walkway, which used to have beautiful mature bougainvillea bushes on both sides, now has 8 stumps, no more privacy, bare walls, with an added warming effect on my home. This is after our Landscape director was told by SR supervisors that the bushes would be trimmed down to waist height. This company is poorly managed and lacks proper customer care.
Great work by this talented team! From drawings to digging to the finished product, the process went smoothly and quickly. The look of my transformed backyard exceeded my expectations. Thanks, Santa Rita!
Kate and Santa Rita Landscaping are one class act! Santa Rita offers everything you would ever want and need for all your landscaping needs and Kate is fabulous to work with. Her eye for design, her communication and friendliness made working with SRL a complete joy. We look forward to working with Kate and her team again in the future.
This is a bad company with some bad people working for it. They dont take responsibility for damage they cause to properties next to the ones they are working on. The work crews have absolutely vile and vulgar men who literally walk toward you as your backing up from the man because hes coming at you his hand literally 4 inches from my face. I honestly just asked them to fix what they damaged. A horrifying experience.
I needed a tree removed because the home builder placed it too close to the fence. Certified Arborist Thomas was absolutely amazing! He was kind, neat, professional, and extremely quick and responsive. Thank you so much Thomas and Santa Rita Landscaping!
Fabian and Noel were very helpful in moving the crushed granite we got to our backyard and helping get it leveled out! I would highly recommend them and very happy with the work the provided!
Had such a wonderful experience with Thomas and Santa Rita Landscaping. Thomas is a certified arborist and is clearly very passionate about what he does! It was a sad day when my work office realized a large, beautiful pine needed to be taken down in the parking lot given it was leaning heavily and at risk of snapping. Thomas and his team did a fantastic job with this task, but the coolest and most impressive thing came after. You see, employees at the company I work at loved this tree, and were curious to see if we could ask the team for a tree round to keep in our office. When asked, Thomas immediately said hed be happy to not only make sure a nice round was cut, but he offered to take it home with him, process and treat it so that it was flat and wouldnt crack, and then bring it BACK to our office! That was more that we couldve ever hoped for, and Thomas offered to do it free of charge (clearly, he is a passionate arborist!) Throughout this time, Thomas communicated with us regularly, shared with us the age of the tree, and was just an all-around awesome person to work with. Thanks to the SR team and especially Thomas for taking the time to provide us a with a beautiful memory of our beloved tree!
I live in gated community, received violation notice of tree with mistletoe needed to be taken care of within two weeks. Contacted Santa Rita, Thomas came checked it and unfortunately the whole tree was infested and needed to be removed. Worked with excellent timing with the association, came with his wonderful team took care of the removal, replaced the tree with approved one of Associotion list. Thomas and his crew are excellent, professional, hard working and passionate about their work. They are truly remarkable impressive team.
Santa Rita has really put a lot of effort into our property, and it shows. Everything had been allowed to be neglected and overgrown. within a very short time JR, Oscar and the rest of the team has gained control and our property is benefiting greatly.
Their designers need to be educated on plant cold hardiness. One of their designs is covered with frost damaged or frost killed plants. Not acceptable!
These guys chop down Saguaros for a Saudi backed golf tournament. Zero respect for the natural Sonoran Desert landscape
Came right out and removed 2 of those ugly saguaro cactus from the place I golf at no permit necessary they just came and chopped them down with a chainsaw and tossed the 200 year old eye sores in the dumpster theres video of then even doing it what an efficient business! If you need saguaros removed but dont Wana bother with a permit so your not breaking the law these are your guys
This is the company that cut down two saguaro cacti at The Gallery Golf Club to build a temporary platform for the upcoming LIV Golf Invitational. Without no permits. So, beware of when you hire them. That you are legally responsible for the actions that the company takes.
I hope the fines for cutting down the cactus puts you out of business
Santa Rita landscaping illegally cuts down federally protected Saguaro cactus! Dont do business with these trash!
Chainsawed seguaras. Disgraceful.
They cut down Saguaros for the Saudi Arabian Government and Greg Norman with out permits.
cut down my cactus ARGGGGGHHHHHH
Two man teams need to appreciate their job and the clients they serve
Incredibly high priced for the couple of small plants they installed. Do not hire these people. It s shameful. Terrible job. I want my money back!!
So I live out in the Saguaro Blooms Area. We pay alot for our HOA to cover our landscaping. This morning I saw 2 landscaper at our Club house doing a great job at our club house. When I talked to the landscapers they were nice and professional. Hopefully they will become the new landscape company for us.
Great company!!
Brad and his crew did a wonderful job, above and beyond of their assigned duties. Thank you for the fine job of trimming the village trees along the wall of my property, especially the one that was reaching across and hitting my eaves and roof.
My large mesquite tree fell over in a storm and Thomas came over the same day I called to look at it. He then came over the next morning and personally cut the entire tree himself in two hours. The cleanup crew came the next day to remove the debris, but I was dissatisfied with their work. I called Thomas and he came over to apologize in person and then had another crew come out to clean the yard. They did an amazing job and my yard looks great. Thomas was very courteous and helpful.
Matt, Francisco, and his team did a great job fixing my irrigation. They were prompt, professional and provided tips on plants. I appreciated how easy it was to work with them. Thank you for the no-stress landscaping job.
Our condos have had the pleasure of working with SRs Hot Shot, lead by Pancho Ramos, Sal and the rest of his crew. We have been struggling with the grounds for a few months now, they came in a week ago and what can I say....the grounds look absolutely wonderful. We are a Historical community and take pride in our grounds. I appreciate everything they have done at the direction of Dave Evans the account manager. Thank You All
Either they are hiring people without liscenses or they are hiring tweakers, ran me off my side of the road, while they were driving on the wrong side of the road
Delivered on their service. Responsive to needs of customer. Returned to make corrections and updates.
Our HOA recently had a number of trees limed up and thinned out. Their certified arborist Thomas and his crew did wonderful job. Thomas is very knowledgeable and very conscientious. Additionally, we have been using their maintenance team for about 6 months. Our homeowners have been commenting on how great everything looks. Thanks guys.
Santa Rita sent us their Arborist to give us advice and do some tree maintenance!! Thomas was outstanding! Professional, Knowledgeable , Courteous, Engaging ..Refreshing!! Thanks Positive
SRL completely re-landscaped the back yard of our 1960s home. This was the most professional landscape experience we have ever had. Our designer Lori Powell listened to our hopes for the yard and also the budget we had set and gave us an amazing plan with a few things that we can do later on our own when we can budget for them. Keone the project manager was very responsive to any questions or concerns and the company stands by everything they do. The crew that did the work was respectful and friendly and left the property very clean. The team kept to the schedule. The final walk through was very helpful and and we now have a binder with all the information we need. The process was seamless and final product is amazing! This company does not disappoint!!
Im impressed by the timely manner SRL staff got in touch with me for a consultation. Thomas and Matt both arrived at my house within the time zone they mentioned. Thomas was very thorough and did a great job on my tall palo verde. Thomas then did a good job on clean up.
Santa Rita Landscaping - Arbor Care Division does a great job maintaining the trees in our subdivision. Everything looks well cared for and maintained. They are very friendly and professional to work with. Highly recommended for tree issues.
What a fantastic business. They take care of our commercial landscaping needs and I couldnt be happier with the quality of service.
I use Santa Rita Landscaping on several commercial properties, they do excellent work at a fair price. Great service!
Santa rita did a great job on the landscaping at Literacy Connects. I do volunteer work for Literacy Connects. The job Santa Rita did has improved the property and the project was done as a community service project by Santa Rita a few years ago.
Santa Rita revamped our back yard with turf, new hard scape and a variety of low water desert plants to make it into a beautiful natural environment. I look forward to working with them again when we redo our front yard.
Appreciate the service also took the time out to help us with a jump hood business
Santa Rita did clearing out work behind my home. Had someone else do it last year and this year with Santa Rita, it came out amazing. I was so pleased with what they did and they were more reasonable in price. The forman on the job was really knowledgeable and helped the others as well.
Joel and T The prominent reason I choose WSR was because Joël answered his phone it was not an answering machine with a We will get back to you message. On top of that service was excellent Joel helped pick to optimum bin size for the project out of the available inventory, delivery and pickup were prompt and the driver T and the driver that picked up are friendly, pleasant and helpful. We will call you again. Thank you very much Lorne Sherk
We had Santa Rita install our backyard landscaping many years ago. Actually, before we moved into the house. We just recently moved into our home after retiring. Most of the plants they planted have died. Our putting green needed to be replaced after four years. We were left with a lot of river rock that they placed along side our house which wasnt in the plan. They ordered too much so they just placed it without asking us. Weve had many issues with our drip system as well. Id say the only thing that still remains are the pavers. Our project was a lot of money to us. Maybe this company didnt think so. I suggest looking elsewhere unless youre going to spend $ 40-50K then maybe they will treat you differently.
We had our dirt backyard converted to a warm and inviting oasis with turf, pavers and an area set up for a fountain (To be delivered from Zona Fountains) In the end, everything turned out beautifully and we couldnt be happier with the results. The crew was hard-working and showed up consistently. The main guy, Fausto, was a gem and a hard-worker. The quality of work is superb. The negatives were that communication was sometimes poor or lacking. We had to keep pestering people for status and updates... The job that was originally estimated for one week was later estimated at 2 weeks and then, in the end, took a month. The other communication issue was a language barrier with the crew but my husband used a google translator app that ended up being a God-send. It was a stressful time but, in the end, they made good on everything and fixed things we werent happy with (there werent many) and did right by us. I wanted to give 3-1/2 stars but I couldnt add a half. We solicited bids from 5 different places. 2 came out but never provided quotes. One quoted very low which concerned us that he didnt understand the job, and the other was extraordinarily high which indicated he didnt really want/need the job. Santa Rita was high but we knew that going in. We got high quality turf and pavers and a stunning backyard. One of the highlights was working with Lori Powell on the design. She was amazing and the design is better than what we ever even imagined.
Good
We researched every company in Tucson before going with Santa Rita for our backyard. We were looking for a company that would do a design, listen to us, incorporate our ideas and perhaps improve on them. They did our design. Jeremy listened to us and incorporated what we wanted. He also made great suggestions. The crew was also great -- Lallo, Jesse and Chris. Keone, the foreman, was also fantastic. We got a nice seat wall, irrigation throughout (one company told us it wasnt possible), lots of color, incorporated our own pots, turf and just a beautiful backyard to go with our view. Sometimes you buy something and you have buyers remorse. None of that here. All first class throughout.
Great company to work with!
Great company. I highly recommend them! A++++ I used this company for several projects, and they are the best!
Great Medical Building landscaping clean-up and new planting. Their crew arrived on time and did everything promised/expected. I would recommend Santa Rita Landscaping to other commercial accounts.
Great place to work , Great place to get your landscape done
Our condo association used your services to trim our trees. Dominic and Ali did a good job to make our surroundings nicer.
Called Santa Rita in a panick had to get some landscape work done very quickly. They gave a cost and date within 6 hours of my first contact. They were on time and very courteous. Will definately use them for other landscape work needed.
Unfortunately, like many others, I get to deal with failed plumbing associated with a new home irrigation plumbing install. Unlike other customer experiences, our installation did not fail due to a faulty dielectric union. As the reason for this premature failure is therefore unknown, I sent at least 2 emails to Santa Rita asking for more information about why and how these plumbing joints can start leaking only 4 years after a new install. Rather than respond, the apparent Company strategy is to simply ignore the inquiry and hope I go away. This Company may as well tell me that they dont care, Im beyond the 2 year warranty, have a nice day - that is the message I get, in the form of crickets. Thats what happens when these larger companies are beholden to developer/builder contracts, where the home owner is clearly second fiddle. Poor communication? Afraid of a lawsuit? Having to defend shoddy workmanship? Who knows, but looking the other way without the courtesy of a reply is unacceptable under any circumstance.
Santa Rita Landscaping has been working on our landscape plan since September and still are not done. Everytime the architect has requested for them to make a correction on something that was not right it would take at least a month to get it back and still be wrong. Then it would take another month and alot of excuses as to why they cant seem to be able to get it right. Finally the architect stepped in and did their job for them, Santa Rita Landscaping now has a very minimal amount of work left to do and it has been over 20 days and still have heard nothing from them. We should have cut our losses months ago and hired a competent company, I am sure it would have been completed correctly the first time and completed much quicker. Santa Rita Landscaping has been a nightmare to work with, their lack of communication and the inability of their design staff to complete the tasks required in a timely manner has cost us months of wasted time and money. I would not recommend Santa Rita Landscaping to anyone who is looking for a Landscape Designer.
Thank you William Dalton for taking the time to help us with the contract to move forward to submit to Cadden. Bruce and Wanda krech Positive
Good Luck with Santa Rita - they dont show up when they are supposed to, they reschedule then call and reschedule again , who knows when they will show - for driveway they installed that needs repair - you would expect better from a company this size. Would rate them 0/10 plenty others out there to use.
Second time using Santa Rita Landscaping. Ricardo was the foreman on the job, as he was on our previous project. He and the crew worked hard to get the yard done in a timely manner and went the extra mile for us.
Dont pay attention
While the design and installation operations were done very well Santa Rita cut many important corners that I had to correct on my own and at my own cost. One major error on their part was never corrected despite my complaints. Dont pay the bill unless you never want to hear from Santa Rita again!
We did a lot of work to our backyard. Ricardo and his crew were amazing! They were extremely courteous and always on time. Their workmanship is top notch. Even when we made a late change on a patio, Ricardo was very polite and went out of his way to see we were happy with the results. I would highly recommend Santa Rita Landscape.
They did a good job overall, good experience with them. But would not respond when it came to doing second part of job. Finding new landscaper for second part. Update - finding issues with work that was completed by team. Would not recommend.
Dealt with a lady named Lori with Santa Rita Landscaping. She advised we needed to come down to their showroom. So we drove an hour into Tucson from Marana, AZ. to see what they had to offer. The showroom at Santa Rita is quickly thrown together with little quality which threw up a yellow flag right off the bat. She kept saying their company is known for quality and that when they start a job they finish it completely and all this other B.S. Once the meeting was over she advised she would have a plan of the landscape put together and we would here from her in 2-3 weeks. We are now approaching 8 weeks with no communication and no response to the emails we have sent to Santa Rita Landscaping. Frankly in my opinion this company is a fraud and I advise people to look elsewhere.
We picked Santa Rita Landscaping after reviewing many photos on the internet. What attracted us to the was their overall theme, which in many cases centered around a fountain. I have a water fountain my Dad built 57 years ago for a house he designed. I always wanted to use the fountain somehow, but never had a good idea on how to implement it. We called Santa Rita in October of 2020 and met with Jeremy. He listened to our goals, showed him our current landscape photos and outlined our budget. He had some good ideas and we agreed to move forward with a proposal from them. We met again in mid-December, which Jeremy showed us a very detailed, professional drawing of their vision for our project. After going through the plan, we made a few minor changes and signed the contract. We also signed a contract for a Pergola that is handled by one of their trusted partners. They stay very busy, with work scheduled out several months. This is a sign of a good contractor IMO. We got a window for the work at the end of March 2021, which worked out well for us. A meeting was held at our house with Jeremy, Esteban (Foreman), myself and wife. We went over all details. One issue that came up several weeks before the work begun was our choice of pavers. With COVID-19 problems, tumbled pavers was near to impossible to be had. Jeremy and Kristy (the project administrator) were able to track down the correct pavers in Phoenix and have them delivered on site without additional cost to us! Outstanding. On the start date, everyone converged on our house....porta John delivery, pavers, gravel, sand, dirt, and the crew. I oversaw a worldwide engineering firm for years and the start day always amazed me to see it all come together. This was no exception...these guys are professionals! The crew lead was Jose. This guy is amazing! He aways had our plans close to him and was able to sequence all the steps perfectly. Our job was not huge, but required 2-weeks schedule for completion. The way Jose sequenced it, I thought it was all out of order, but by the 4th day, I saw how expertly he had it managed. I also had HVAC replacement scheduled at the same time and had wanted pavers placed for the outdoor condenser units. Jose made sure they were installed in time for the HVAC contractor. In fact, provided a very sturdy and level base where the condensers will never have a sinking problem. Jose placed all the pavers, including the curvy sidewalk path he made out front. Did an outstanding job! The plumber/electrician, Juan and I discussed how to power the low voltage lights as well as connect up the fountain. I really had no clue how he was going to build the fountain. He came up with a perfect solution by drilling a 1/2 hole through a rock and placing the fountain head through the hole and allowed the rock to be the base! I would have never thought of this! It was perfect! He also fixed our irrigation supply and provided the water to the fountain by connecting into the main water supply to the irrigation system. This has worked well. I use Apple Homekit smart switches made by Meross to control the fountain and the low-voltage lights. Jose was always available to me to discuss how he thought certain things should be done and made sure I was in agreement before proceeding. Our communications was excellent and I never felt he pushed his idea on me, but rather was alway interested in making sure I was pleased with how every detail was done. This was refreshing to me. Usually one had conflicts with contractors, but not one conflict and all outstanding items were address immediately. I cannot speak highly enough on Santa Rita Landscaping! It is interesting to me that I hired CertaPro Painters to paint my exterior since all my landscaping and HVAC work is complete. Joe, the owner came out to provide a quote and remarked how nice the landscaping was. He wanted to know who done it, when I told him, he got all excited as he recently signed a contract with Santa Rita Landscaping to do landscaping at his house!
This company is a joke! We scheduled our landscape project and they took our deposit of $20k telling us it will be done in 2 months. Wrong. My start date kept being moved! After 7 yes S-E-V-E-N months it was finally completed and it was completed poorly. My grandson does better landscaping with his Lego set. Dont waste your time with these clowns.
This company works with Lennar Homes and did the landscaping in their project in Starr Pass. About half the trees they planted in the two neighborhoods have fallen down multiple times and subsequently had to be cut down or they just died. The sheer number of trees in distress is, in part, because the company did a shoddy job of choosing saplings as well as a shoddy job planting the trees deep enough (it would have required jack hammering) to take root and not fall. Its shameful work and Im surprised Lennar maintains a contract with such a shoddy company.
Great communication from Robert during the tree removal process. Very happy with the work done, thanks Santa Rita!
Santa Rita Landscape was used to refresh all of the granite in our homeowners association. We had some needs particular to our home that demanded a little above and beyond attention. When I asked Ricardo Romero about that he was friendly and professional, attentive to our small particular request. It was a pleasure to work with someone with such a pleasant disposition and attentiveness. His crew was well managed and did a great job. He is the kind of employee that gives his employer a great reputation.
We had a very uneven front yard with lots of random plant growth and reached out to several landscapers in the area to fix the issue. Out of all 5 bids, Santa Ritas estimate was both fair and comprehensive. Ryan made us feel confident in what he was going to be doing to the yard as well as making sure we understood what the upkeep would be on the options we selected. The crew that arrived did an amazing job at not only leveling the yard and laying down great looking rock, but removed a patch of asphalt that the previous owner had placed in the drive. Jeremy did a summary of what was done, what to expect from the yard, and how they would proceed with cleanup over the next day or so. Its the first time Ive ever used a landscaper (I usually try to do it myself) and I couldnt have asked for a better experience!
Very good work and price.
Our backyard looks amazing! Everybody did a fantastic job!
The solutions division is top notch. My backyard becomes a marsh during monsoon season because of poor drainage. Ryan came up with a plan to level out the yard and provide drainage under the brick wall. Jeremy and his team accomplished the task in very little time. The new gravel makes the yard look entirely different. Thank you.
My driveway was over 25 yrs old and the asphalt was coming apart. Not only was it unsightly but dirt was regularly tracked into the house. There was also an issue of drainage after rains which often backed up on my carport and drained into my neighbors yard. After consulting with several contractors considering both concrete and paver options, we chose Santa Rita Landscaping. The price for the pavers was only about $2000 more than concrete and provided a much more aesthetic look that matched our adobe block house. In addition, Ryan was the only one who offered a solution to the drainage problem which was to install a small drain in the tree swale and route the water via a 4 inch pipe to a lower point in my backyard which could water trees with the excess water. The workers did a great job in all stages of removal of the old asphalt, configuring the elevation so water would drain gently to a particular point, and carefully installing AB sand/gravel underlayment, then sand, then the pavers and finally a coat of fine sand between the pavers. I am very pleased with both the appearance of the finished product and its functionality. Many people have commented on how attractive and well done it is. the Crew was great to work with and kept me informed of progress and any issues along the way. I would highly recommend them for this type of work.
Actually the easiest one star I ve ever given. These people do the maintenance at my apartment complex and Jesus Christ any adult American knows when you re pretending not to speak English. You don t go from understanding my apartment complex manager telling you need to move and understanding perfectly and just saying no whenever I try to get you to move. So for a quick summary they will park illegally in your fire lane stand around not working screaming outside your window, then pretend to not speak English when you ask them to move. Actually I speak a little Spanish and they said they couldn t understand that either it s clear they re trying to annoy their way out of respecting the law
I will start by saying I wasn t solicited to write this review. Excellent business if you are looking to landscape. They are a very busy company so it is a bit of a wait before they start but very much worth the wait. Jeremy was very thorough and professional in helping us in the design process and was always prompt in communication with us. During the landscaping process, Alex and crew were very quick in their work and the outcome matched the blueprints perfectly. Tom would periodically in check in with us to make sure we were happy with the results and would answer any questions we had. It the end, we now have a beautiful backyard thanks to the very hard work of the entire team of Santa Rita Landscaping.
We recently built a new home in the Dell Webb on Dove Mountain community. Santa Rita did the landscaping. There was a minor issue with the irrigation. I spoke with Sonja who had someone on our doorstep within the hour to take care of the issue. In an online world of maddening press 2 communication Sonja provided the fast, professional, courteous, personal customer service that is sorely missing today. I cannot say enough about the way she handled our issue. Highly recommend.
Great worker
Our landscaping team, headed by Ricardo, just completed the landscaping project for our back yard, and did an excellent job. The appearance of our yard matches what we expected from our plan and is now a joy to look at, Ricardo spent extra effort to ensure that the drainage will be well set up to enhance water flow so that we should experience no problems with standing water. . Tom was our initial contact who professionally guided us through the planning and decision making process. Esteban ensured that we are satisfied with the landscaping project and spent extra time going over our questions and providing the details we will need to keep our yard well maintained. Overall we are very pleased with Santa Rita Landscaping and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to improve their real estate value.
We have a new build with DR Horton. First heavy rain and it was obvious the yard was not graded properly. The water did not drain out the sides of the yard. It pooled. Maybe 6 deep. I couldnt walk in the yard. I laid stone on the sides of the yard in order to walk above the water. The stones were put in AFTER the water pooled. We contacted DR Horton. They contracted with your company to regrade the backyard. Your workers came over, looked around, and brought in one wheelbarrow of dirt. They spread it around on the high side of the yard and left. 10 minutes of work. Contacted DR Horton. Rescheduled for this past Wednesday (3/4/20). No show. Why? It sprinkled. Cant regrade if it sprinkled apparently. Came today. Picked up a few rocks then kind of moved the stone creating a trench. Then left. We are ready to finish our backyard. We originally contacted your company. After the wheelbarrow incident we called and cancelled our appointment. I watched them work and it looked like straight up laziness. It was disappointing and surprising honestly. But hey, you got the contract. I had to give one star because zero stars was not an option.
Waking people up before six with your noise, then upping it after being asked to please be quiet; well, youre going to get some negative reviews. Do not entertain hiring this company, as they employ jerks who have no respect for others.
This company is unprofessional, unsafe, and unkept. I am not going to take up more valuable time posting pictures of dirty trucks, unsafe work practices (UNDERWRITERS BEWARE!!!), and generally inept looking people wandering around jobsites. This company will not do a good job the first time, and if you hire them , it is on you. They cannot be trusted to safely do anything, I watched one their employees almost flip a small earth mover. His comrades watched and laughed. I would have been laughing too, had he actually flipped it and broken his back. Dont throw your money away on these imbeciles.
Santa Rita recently did the landscaping for La Suprema Works where I work. They did an excellent job! They were professional, on time, and did really beautiful work. The trees, cacti, and gravel look stunning and were the perfect finishing touch to a big construction project to the coworking/office space in Barrio Viejo. I would highly recommend Santa Rita Landscaping!
LOVE this company! AMAZING service!!
What a great group of employees at Santa Rita Landscaping! Always ready to help!
Great place for landscaping truck drivers but not truck driving equipment operators..
These guys do an amazing job keeping up with the local dog parks in Sahuarita. Theyre always super polite and professional.
These people work so very hard to keep the Quail Creek Veterans Muni dog park in very good shape, especially given weather conditions.
Amazing place to visit.
The workers or team that worked on my house were very professional, polite and courteous. They checked in with me daily to see if I had any questions and if I wanted to change anything. We put our heads together to make some minor changes that turned out for the best.
The team did an amazing job on my installation and they were available to answer all of my questions as they came up. We walked through all of the changes that they would be making first, ensured that they knew where I wanted everything and gave me updates throughout the day. They had to come back the next morning, but everything was completed quickly. I am very pleased with the results. Thank you!
Friendly h/r
Thank you so much for all you guys do and I truly value you all!
The team that handled my front yard was spectacular especially the young lady that answered all my phone calls Jessie Bullington
Dont waste your time! I called 3 times to be transferred to someone who does residential, they never answered or returned my voice mail. I went elsewhere, I dont recommend for residential services.
Santa Rita Landscaping is the very best ! My yard was completed before expected actually and during the process I felt the time schedule was communicated every step of the way, which is not normal for most companies. they arrived at the same time everyday and completed the job very fast. my yard is the envy of all my neighbors, who are now looking at santa rite as their new landscaping company.. if your looking for quality, professionalism and a very customer service orientated company, Santa Rita Landscaping is the company youve been looking for
Not only was the eventual bid high, it was two and three times higher than local landscapers and the scope and creativity of Santa Rita was lackluster and not reflective of our request. I knew Santa Rita was a high cost provider, but this experience was ridiculous and out of line. Dont waste your time.
I Manage HOAs for a living and have worked with Santa Rita Landscape for several years. Luke Simon by far, is my favorite. They are competitively priced, knowledgeable, and responsive. I am seeing more and more of my HOAs Boards going with Santa Rita Landscape. They are on my companys Preferred Vendor List.
I called to get some information about a project for my back yard and got Jessie on the phone. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions, and make a couple of helpful suggestions.
Very professional. Clean and neat work. Done with care.Tracy Weaver made sure we were in formed throughout. Highly recommend.
Tracey Weaver did an amazing job explaining the pricing on our landscaping project.
Best Landscaping Co. Ever!!!
Sonja was so helpful and polite. She is a valuable asset to your company!
Great company & people!
Tracey Weaver has an artistic and creative way with landscaping. She is able to turn eyesores into beautiful landscapes.
Thank Santa Rita Landscape I appreciate your services and your dedication to professional performance. Karen Cartwright
I am revising my previous review. I will never use Santa Rita Landscaping. It is pretty bad when a landscaper replaces a acacia tree with and ocotillo and planted the the wrong. Tony NEVER capped off the irrigation that was in place for the acacia, before planting the ocotillo. I just had to pull out the ocotillo because it DIED from to much water. Tony was just here correcting the issues that I had with Santa Rita Landscaping. Tony was very professional and really explained the plants and what could happen with the different weather situations. I never give a 5 star review to any one, but Tony really gave it his best
UPDATE - 5/22/2019 Changing back to one star. Less than a year later... the pavers have been awful to live with. I fully regret having hired Santa Rita (at great expense) to landscape our yard. UPDATE - 6/16/2018 After 18 months of unsuccessful attempts at resolving various issues, Santa Rita said they would no longer work with me. I put my story into updated 1-star reviews and a Better Business Bureau complaint. Within a week I received an email from Tanner, (Santa Rita Operations Manager) stating that he was open to meeting with me and discussing options. Tanner came to my home and proposed an option to address my biggest concern of shifting pavers; not replacement as I had wanted, but a compromise I was willing to try because it was better than no compromise at all. I am now changing my 1-star reviews to two stars. I appreciate Santa Rita s renewed willingness to work with me. The number of communications back and forth is numerous, and they have responded to my communications in a timely manner. The compromise did improve the problem slightly. However, the issues remain largely unresolved. I tried to give more than 2 stars because Tanner did extend an effort to find a compromise. However, 3 stars implies a neutral recommendation. I feel I was sold an expensive product with major inherent problems that were not communicated at the time of purchase and were never really resolved. I cannot in good faith recommend Santa Rita as a landscaper.
Santa Rita Landscaping comes to my neighborhood to do the landscaping. Most likely they were hired by our property management Paul Ash. Whoever made the decision to hire them made a great chiice. The crew that comes to the neighborhood does a wonderful job. Everything looks wonderful and tidy and the crew is friendly and professional. The best landscaping crew weve had in years in my opinion. Thank you Santa Rita Landscaping
Great people very helpful good work
We are triply delighted with the landscaping done by Santa Rita to our new home. They expertly guided us in the design process, understood our budget and provided us the most landscaping for our yard and finances. Their crew worked diligently for 2 and 1/2 days to produce a great effect. We enjoyed their professionalism, friendliness and work ethic. We certainly recommend your consideration of Santa Rita.
Really great work, I absolutely love my yard!
Great company. Very attentive to details.
The employees of this company are always kind and professional. My HOA hired them for our public areas. When my dog barks at them from the other side of the wall, they reassure me that they dont mind. When I am outside sweeping with my toddler, they offer to finish the job. These details make all the difference in my opinion, thank you for your kindness!
I would give them a 0 if a could. All my plants died, due to the irrigation lines were not installed correctly. Then after my one year inspection on my house they wouldnt correct any issues because they said I modified the landscaping....I added nice plants not the $6.98 plants from home depot they planted. I had erosion and water retention on the property too. FYI Center Pointe home association where I live fired them for their horrible service and work. Like I told you guys....Santa Rita I just needed some addition stone....you decided to blow me off and make up a ridiculous policy about modifications.....I never bad mouth businesses because people jobs are on the line but your Representatives decided to ignore me.
The crew who is working at Eastyn Park Apartments are doing a hella of a job. They are making a lot of progress and very friendly staff. Great work guys and the location is looking great.
We had a very specific look and requirements for our backyard landscaping that we brought to Jeremy at Santa Rita. It took a few meetings to get him to be able to visualize what we were looking for but then was able to put together a great concept with a very competitive price. They handled all the bumps in the demo, construction, and finishing of the project with finesse and a careful eye on making sure things get done right. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a company to make their complicated projects come to life.
Amateur plumbers, even worse customer service. New home drip irrigation set up leaking from every joint. I have been stood up on a repair appointment and ignored on having my calls returned even after the Operations director Gene swore were known for our customer service. My fault for assuming he meant good customer service. Stay away from Santa Rita. UPDATE: After this posting Chris was out at 8 a.m. the following day and completed the repairs. Thank you
Very respectful always going out of there way to fullfill your needs truly remarkable company
I worked with Santa Rita to develop a plan for our backyard landscaping. Their design staff did a superb job turning my ideas into a cohesive design.
Santa Rita Landscaping did a great job installing new landscaping in my back yard! The process from start to finish exceeded my expectations. They have great people at each step of the way including their designer Lori, their site manager Smiley and their wonderful on- site team! I met with four landscapers before picking Santa Rita and I am very happy that I made this choice.
Good people and very attentive to details.
Nothing but great things to say and they went above the scope of duty to get our job done right. I would highly recommend them from small to large jobs.
Amazing company to work with! Sonja in the office always very professional and very responsive!!!
Over the past year Santa Rita has planted 3 trees at my home. During the process they were professional and helpful educating me about the right trees for my needs. The work was performed as promised. I would use them again and obviously would recommend them.
We worked with Santa Rita to landscape our backyard from scratch (it was a new build - so just dirt in the yard to start). They really listened to what we wanted and did a fantastic job designing something that was just right for us. The follow up and support has all been positive as well.
Great company to work with! would recommend them to anyone
Our project consisted of the construction of a ramada, and a complete re-landscaping of the back yard. We were very pleased with the overall process, from initial design to final walk through.
We had Santa Rita Landscaping apply pavers over our concrete patio & extend the patio 5 feet. The crew was prompt & efficient. Showed up on time, answered all my questions & concerns & completed the job in 1 day! We were very pleased with this company.
Best company
Called an they had a Receptionists answer the call while she was very sassy an extremely poor customer service then wants to say she is the head of the administration no thank you I will approach another job site.
Exceptionally professional group from landscape designer to the multi-talented individuals who implemented the design and provided support. Words and phrases to describe the Santa Rita team that completed the work at our home: true artisans; extremely respectful of an owners property; polite and thorough. We highly recommend Santa Rita Landscaping.
I have used Santa Rita for our commercial landscape service for the last couple years and they do a great job. Great communication and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Great local company, Professional design and landscape construction work. I highly recommend Santa Rita for all of your landscape and yard projects! I had used other companies in the past but I have never had a better experience for my outdoor living space projects than with these guys. Give them a call you will be happy !
Several years ago Santa Rita Landscaping installed red brick pavers over my existing lawn. They did a beautiful job in a herringbone pattern. Never has a single brick migrated out of place, and never has a single blade of grass grown between the bricks. I am still very pleased with the professional job they did, and would not hesitate to recommend them for a job that you might need done.
Santa Rita Landscaping is a Tucson original business. They have the ability and professionalism of a big company, combined with the honest service of your neighborhood small business. Their ethics are for real from the top down, and if something is not satisfactory you can trust that you will be taken care of.
Santa Rita Landscaping is first rate! If you start with them, you wont bother looking any further.
The staff at Santa Rita is knowledgeable, professional, and provides great customer service. Great to work with.
Great Company!!! I am a Custom Swimming Pool contractor and have hired Santa Rita on many projects. Rich is an excellent designer and the field crews do high quality work and keep a safe professional job-site for our clients.
Our experience with Santa Rita Landscaping was perfect. From the initial meeting with Jeremy, to the final walk through with Robbie, it all went smooth. Not only did they complete the project on the timeline they promised, but they gave us options under the initial budget we gave them for our backyard. We cant wait to call them and get started on our front yard project!
I havent been there, was told to go there to vote.
Asked for a landscape design for our backyard in January. Its now April and we are still waiting to see a design. Zero customer service. Dont waste your time and money.
I think this company is amazing. The do quality work. They designed the patio perfectly and now we have so much more room. The pavers added so much to our back yard. The team couldnt be more spot on. The crew was so polite and friendly. They finished right on schedule. I WOULD recommend this company if you want truly care about quality.
Met with John (Design Consultant) a month ago. He said he would have a quote for me in a few days. They never sent a quote...even after I called and emailed them. Dont waste your time with this company.
The staff was extremely professional from start to finish. They worked with us to design our backyard within our budget. The result is a beautiful oasis instead of a backyard full of rocks. Thank you Santa Rita.
I used to be in the landscape business in CA for over 20 years and am relocating to AZ. My spouse and I are building a home and working with Sant Rita Landscaping has been really quite excellent. Their design team is a pleasure to work with, their plant knowledge impressive, and their ability to combine the softscape with hardscape designs is thoroughly professional. They are indeed, a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend their landscape services.
We hired Santa Rita Landscaping to for both hardscape( front patio wall and front and back patio pavers) as well as all landscaping for our new home in Saddlebrook Arizona. We have over a half acre lot. Everyone from Santa Rita did a fabulous job, from design through installation. Jeremy was our designer, and did a great job walking us through the design process. He was very flexible with our requested plant changes and knowledgeable about all the desert plants. Once work started, we were very impressed with the quality and speed with which the landscapers implemented the design. Smiley, the Superintendent, and Mark the landscape foreman did an amazing job. During the landscape project we had numerous requests for changes. Mark was really patient with our requests and accommodated all our requests in a professional and supportive manner. The whole Santa Rita team was great. We would highly recommend them; especially Jeremy, Mark, and Smiley. Thank you all for a great job. Ralph and Janet Carlile
Santa Rita Landscaping completed our landscape project on schedule, and we are more than pleased with the outcome. Santa Rita exceeded our expectations in every way. Our neighbors who have stopped by to view the final product have all been very impressed. We want to commend all those involved with the project from Jeremy who took our thoughts about what we wanted to accomplish and translated them into the final plan, to Matt and Jessy who supervised the work, and especially to Ricardo and his crew. Jessy, who was in constant contact, saw that everything ran smoothly and on schedule, while the work ethic and skill of Ricardo and crew were amazing. We ve never seen such a hard working group of men who showed up on time at 6 am each morning anxious to begin work. In addition to making sure everything ran on schedule, Jessy took unusual precautions to be certain that our driveway would not be damaged in any way during construction, and Ricardo and his crew were meticulous in the clean up once everything was finished. We, along with all our neighbors who saw the piles of rock and fill arrive during construction, were amazed that the crew left not a trace of debris anywhere after completion. Everyone involved in the project were extremely competent, top notch individuals. It s difficult to express how impressed we are with the employees of Santa Rita Landscaping who contributed to our project, and how pleased we are with the results.
Great work
Contracted by our home builder, Santa Rita put in decent quality plants, gravel, and watering system. They were responsive for the first year waranty time, replacing a few bushes and a tree that died. The water feature they completed could have been a better design, and their first attempt had to be completely redone. After a year it has proved to be leaky with a poorly installed liner. Their design people were knowledgable and enthusiastic, developing a plan that we enjoy. However, they recommended some quick growing trees that we found out later might pose an invasive root problem (I hope not!!!). Time will tell. Overall, we are happy with the landscasping they did.
Not only did we get an amazing yard landscaped, but we had a great experience with Santa Rita - they finished the job in under 3 weeks, honored all of their promises and guarantees, and stayed in communication with us throughout the entire project. Would recommend!
Well all I can say is Im the perfect client for things to go wrong as this is a second residence for us and I travel for work and live out of state, so I was prepared for the perfect storm. Fortunately for me, I connected with Lori Powell at Santa Rita and the very best decision I could have made!! The over and above communication, concern, empathy, understanding of the scope of the project that I was trying to create, Lori understood completely, and if there were 10 stars, thats what I would rate!! Its as if Id known her for years. Never an over promise and under deliver experience at all with her. The entire team on the project took special care with not damaging any of the turf, the pool and spa is already in, so extra care on the travertine as well. I just really never had to ask. Ive been fortunate enough to do projects twice the size in my past even though this was no small undertaking, but by far this has been the very best experience Ive ever had with all the intricacies involved with the project. Case in point they had to crane a 15 foot Saguaro over the house weighing about 6000 pounds. Shout out to Smiley who has the perfect name and always greets you with a smile and the word no is not in his vocabulary. Thanks to all on the project. Every single worker. If I was building or renovating I would use no one else and ask for Lori!!!!!!!
We went to them to have a waterfall/stream designed (and installed) for our backyard. After the initial consultation, we were supposed to hear from them within a week. Never heard from them. Needless to say, we have found someone else, and will never recommend this company to anyone.
Great Company! Highly recommend them, they are easy to work with.
Santa Rita Landscaping is the only choice for beautiful and professional landscaping in Tucson!!!!
Santa Rita Landscaping is the best company I have ever dealt with. They are prompt, friendly, and reliable.
professional, good follow through, they know what they are doing. I would highly recommend them
Bought a new home in Pulte Red Rock Village, Santa Rita Put in the front yard landscaping and the water drip system. However they have not and will not provide me with a diagram as to where the piping is running under the surface. I need that in case I decide to plant other shrubs in my yard so I dont cut through one of the water lines. I have called them many times, left messages, email and nothing? I have been told that they do not have the time to help with this, plus they are also very expensive, run for the hills before you ask them for a quote.
Parked a low profile dumpster (cant see it in your rear view mirror) in the road behind my driveway and then refused to pay for the damage to our bumper. This is in a neighborhood where cars are not allowed to be parked in the street. Also used my front yard as their turnaround point and smashed the rocks down. Absolutely no respect for the neighbors of people they are doing work for. If you have any respect for your neighbors, find a different company to do your landscaping as they will show no respect for their areas and leave a mess while they work on your yard.
After reviewing several contractors, my wife and I contracted with Santa Rita Landscape (SRL) to design and complete a backyard project for a new home we purchased in Marana, AZ. From the design phase to the completed project, I have nothing but praise for how the job was handled. Rich Doering was insightful throughout the design phase and was extremely patient with us as we fine tuned the initial design. By the third draft we had what we wanted. The work began and finished in the time frame that was established, and the crews were fantastic to work with. Arriving each day at pretty much sunrise to start the work and at the end of the each day, the work areas were cleaned up and all trash/debris was removed. All the crews (landscape/patio pavers, barbeque, fire-pit, trenching, water system and others) were professional and knowledgeable. The foreman for the project, Ismael Valle, nicknamed (Smiley) was on top of the project in regard to the work crews, equipment, supplies, and schedule. He was accessible and easy to work with. I will note, as with any project of this scale, a few issues did occur. Smiley handled each issue and the discrepancies were immediately addressed and rectified. I was also a bit surprised to have the owner of the company (Richard) and his Vice President in charge of operations (Garrett) show up at the site one afternoon just to check in and see how everything was going. We spent some time talking and it was obvious to me that they were very genuine in the desire to ensure the project was going well and in the manner that I expected. A very personal touch that was much appreciated. In the end, the backyard looks great and we are of the opinion that we clearly made the right choice for our project. I would highly recommend Santa Rita Landscape (SRL) for any project you may be considering.
