For the past two years, we have been using Metro Lawns, Inc. I think of the various crews as an extension of my “gardening hands” since I am not able to do the things outside that I used to do. They always call before they come. They ask what projects I want done and work on those items that are important to me. In addition to cutting and blowing, they have pulled weeds, planted shrubs and flowers, taken down ivy on the front of our home, placed shepherds hooks, cleaned out our gutters and many other items that I have requested. They show up on time, ready to work and always have left me satisfied with their work. There are several different crews that have come. I would heartily recommend Metro Lawns, Inc. for the company’s work ethic and affordable price. I am grateful to be a customer of this local business that has been here for thirty years. WILL NOT DO WEED CONTROL IN NATURAL AREAS. I specifically pointed out the natural areas and the need for maintenance when Chuck and I walked the yard a little over a year ago. Chuck acknowledged my request in his email response and price quote. It has been a year+ long struggle trying to get those areas addressed culminating in Chuck telling me weeding was not included in our initial agreement. Why did he wait until I said I wasn’t going to pay until the weeds were addressed when I have multiple emails and texts over the year asking to have the weeds addressed? You decide for yourself if you want your yard to look “in shape” according to Chuck as follows.
We periodically call Metro Lawns to come during my busy season. They cut the grass, edge it, blow the driveway, and trim any long hedges. They have always done a great job. However, we just had Metro Lawns come do leaf removal, clean up, and cut the grass because I didn't rake all fall or winter. They did an unbelievable job of removing all the leaves out of our yard, driveway, porch, and flower beds. They knew how to do it without blowing all of our mulch away too. Our property looks like a different place! They were professional, friendly, easy to work with, and have good prices. I love the convenience too of being emailed an invoice and the ability to pay them online! Great company, and I highly recommend them!

I have been using Chuck for about a year now and can trust him and his team to provide great quality work for reasonable prices. They mow my lawn and do quarterly hedge trimming, along with clean up as needed.

Metro Lawns came to my house to do some major yard cleanup work after Id let the yard get very overgrown while some house construction was going on. They did a two day clean up and did a great job mowing and trimming back all the overgrowth. Highly recommend!
Great service. This is the second time I had Metro Lawns come by to clean up (A LOT) leaves, and they did a great job both times. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!
They left mounds and layers of leaves all around the yard. They mowed around them instead of clearing them, mulching them or even bagging them. We have free curbside leaf pickup. All they had to do was mulch or bag them. When I inquired whether they had even been there, the owner said they work by the hour not by the job snd they didn t finish my job because they had other houses to get to that day. Their work does not align with their company slogans around tidiness.
I have used their services before for mowing, and the work was good. However, when I asked for a quote for another job, they did not contact me when they said they would. I had to contact them. Then, for a second time, the company did not contact me when the man said he would. To this day, the company has not contacted me. Its apparent my business is not appreciated. I do NOT recommend this company if you want a speedy, professional quote.
Curtis and Stan just came out and did an hour s worth of work and returned my yard to a respectable state again. I appreciate their communication and professionalism in regard to our requests. Would definitely recommend!

I received Metro Lawns information as a referral from a friend of mine that have used them for a few years now. Metro lawns set up an initial clean up and did a fantastic job with cleaning my yard, removing leaf debris from the flower beds and roads, and made my yard look the best it has looked in almost 5 years. Chuck Vogt provides a very reliable lawn care service at a very reasonable price. He scheduled lawn care for my property every two weeks to do mowing, edging, and blowing. He charges based on the amount of time it generally takes to do the work, so my cost was $41 per visit - a very reasonable price compared to other lawn services that I tried. I highly recommend Metro Lawns.

My grass grew out, when I was on vacation. When I returned, I really struggled to find someone to help me out. I called 20 places to no avail. I was able to reach Chuck @ Metro Lawns and those guys delivered! They came out within a few days, gave me a straight forward quote. Then knocked out the job in 2 days, under budget. If you need lawn work done, these are the guys to call!!

Metro Lawns lived up to all of the good things Id read in online reviews, and then some. My yard was a horrible mess, and in a mere 2 hours they had it fixed. Chuck has excellent customer service skills, & his team was fast, efficient, and detailed. While it wasnt listed as a service they provide, I them to clean the gutters & they happily did so. But the real push to excellence was something that surprised me. Id asked for them to remove a large limb that had fallen in my back yard. Not only did they do that- they also picked up a TON of limbs that had been pushed to the back corner. They carried them all to the curb. Id forgotten I even had a concrete slab back there! Ill be using Metro Lawns on a regular basis for upkeep. Theyre stellar AND affordable. Within the year Ill be getting a landscape architect to design plans & will be completely redoing our yard. Metro Lawns will be who I solicit to do the work. Itll be a big project & I have no doubt theyl do a perfect job.
Metro Lawns was exactly what I was looking for. The price was right and the job was done when I needed it and looked great. They did more than what we had discussed trimming the tree above the driveway and eliminating some pesky bees nests. I would highly recommend Metro Lawns. This is an ok service, nothing fancy. I like them - they are nice people, but it just feels like the rush through the service. They do come twice a month, which is nice - I just wish the quality was better and my lawn looked better. Its getting worse.
I have been using Metro Lawns for almost 2 months now and am very happy with the service. On the customer service front, they are very responsive. More importantly, they have done a fantastic job with my lawn. They even have trimmed the hedges (even though I dont think Im paying for that).
