Alpine Yard Care in Truckee

Incredible service and just all around great people. We are so amazed by the Alpine Yard Care teams ability to dream up something beautiful from what was previously an unsightly patch of dirt. Josh and his team were timely, affordable and professional but most importantly you can tell they really like what they do and take pride in their work. We are already looking for new projects for them to revitalize next spring. ( first picture is the sad before shot)

Thank you Josh & Alpine Yard Care for our dream patio! Josh and his team were incredible to work with. They were on time, communicative, and worked within our budget. The patio turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. Josh truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. I used Alpine for a clean up job. Positive: they did an excellent job of weeding etc. Negative: their communication was poor. They showed up 2+ weeks later than they had originally indicated. They charged 2x what they quoted— after undisclosed added on fees and surcharges. I paid the bill and then expressed my disappointment over the surprise billing to the owner. Given that I had already fully paid, I expected some version of “sorry for the confusion and we will try to be clearer in the future.” Instead I received a hostile and immature response accusing me of not being from the area (I am) and other insults. So- 2 stars because the work was good but the price was very high and the owner insulting and not someone I’d recommend relying upon. Follow up: The owner has now contacted me. He told me that there was no miscommunication and I should have known of the unquoted surcharges. He added additional personal insults and that I’m a customer who he “doesn’t want” (despite paying the bill the day it arrived). I’ll reiterate: the quality of the work was good but the price and headache probably outweighs that positive.

Greg and his team were exceptional! Easy to work with, on time, responsive which is not typical for many landscapers in the truckee area. Great work.

Greg and team did a great job installing retaining wall, stone staircases, irrigation, drainage lines and new lawn at our home in Tahoe Donner. Greg was easy to work with, provided reasonable estimates and completed work on time. I am a very satisfied customer. The neighbors have all come by to compliment their work. I have already recommended Alpine to other Tahoe Donner residents.

Greg has done several jobs for us over the years, all of which have been excellent quality. He has created beautiful designs for us, in his selecting and locating all the various trees and plants. One of his first jobs he did for us was to modify a retainer wall to make room to put chairs all around the fire pit and add stone steps from the patio to above the wall (picture attached).

Greg has been doing work for us in TD for more than 10 years.a couple years ago,we built a new house and Greg designed the landscaping that meshed perfectly with the house and the lot. His team his great and his customer service is fantastic. I can’t recommend him enough

I have had Greg and Alpine Yard doing my yard work since I purchased my house in 2008. They know how to do everything that your yard will need and have great suggestions on improvements, if needed. They do great work and are very responsive. I have recommended them to many neighbors over the years.
