We hired Valley West Landscapes to do a large backyard project and they truly delivered. Ryan created a beautiful and creative design that took into account both my and my husband's preferences and ideas. Andy, the contractor, was great at communicating with us, giving us updates, and was often present on site. The crew worked hard on a logistically difficult project in all weather conditions, while respecting nap times with our little one. We would highly recommend this company and will use them again!

Valley West helped me with a planting plan for my backyard. The designer included plans for each section of my beds, depending on the lighting needs, and my irrigation system. I was very happy with the communication and overall customer service.
The fee was fair, the service was timely and done with care, and the communication/customer service was outstanding.
They don t answer the phone
We can highly recommend Valley West for both hardscape and landscape. We love the look of the pavers, lawn borders, retaining walls and beautiful landscaping. When they build a retaining wall, it is both a piece of art as well as built to last. Their highly trained crew members are true craftsmen. They were really responsive in an emergency. Part of our patio had to be torn up for septic tank inspection. Valley West came to our rescue with very little notice to restore the patio pavers to their original positions. They did a masterful job in short order. Kudos to the team at Valley West!
Valley West turned our backyard from a nightmare to what dreams are made of.
Wanted to do estimate by email. They ask what you could afford and the they come with a price that is 3 times the amount of what you said. Knowing I low ball it. They gave an estimate without knowing your property size. My yard is real small. I will call others. I dont recommend them

Their design/consultation team were extremely responsive, helpful, and flexible, and their installation crew did impressive, quality work in a timely manner and turned our plain front yard into an oasis we can enjoy for many years. I called and requested a quote for mass clean up and regular service after our previous landscaper just stopped showing up. Though it was Valley West busiest season, due to their consideration of our situation, I received two separate detailed quotes and was on the schedule within two weeks. Were well pleased with the value and quality of the work Valley West Landscapes provides for our business.
My grass was horrible. They did there magic a few weeks ago and the results are shocking! From a grassless moss pit, to beautiful green full grass in just a few weeks.

I recently hired Valley west for a spring cleanup and yearly lawn maintenance. I was very pleased with their cleanup which included removing an Alberta spruce which was half dead and trimming some overgrown barberry bushes as well as cleanup of the beds. When I arrived home everything looked so nice and I couldnt even tell where the tree used to be . Ive been pleased with the weekly service as well. Its so nice to know that my yard is being taken care of when I was struggling to find the time to do it.

David Duckworth, the general manager, personally replaced my ancient and broken sprinkler controller with a new one just in time to deal with my water- deprived landscape and the recent heat wave in Portland, OR. He also resolved a billing issue in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Valley West did a fabulous job with the jungle in my small backyard. The team arrived promptly in the morning and by the time I got back from work, the brambles and weeks were gone and the backyard look great. Great people, great work, great company.
