Arrived home very impressed. The crew did a great job!

This is the third time weve used Hillside. Lots of leaves and yard debris especially due to the recent high winds. They were on time, thorough and worked steadily. As before, they exceeded our expectations. Hillside was not the least expensive option. However, the continuing quality and professionalism were well worth it.

The landscaping crew took on a huge project removing large broken limbs from my apple tree. The did a great job & even cut back some other drooping limbs to avoid broken limbs in the future. They also cleaned up all the debris as well as damaged apples on the ground that I was unable to access under the broken limbs. I can always trust them to do a top notch job & leave the area cleaned.

Hillside has maintained my too big yard for many years. People walking by have complimented me on how nice the yard looks - they should be complimenting Hillside - not me. Besides regular weekly maintenance, Hillside has done some special projects in my yard, some I requested and some their landscaping eye suggested would be a nice addition. Working full time and unable to put in the hours of work needed to get my yard looking even semi-professional, I definitely needed to reach out and get some help. My plan was to share a picture of the wonderful work HLM crew did for me today, but me and technology sometimes argue. So, youll have to use your imagination and my words to get the picture. When you request bark dust be applied... they DONT skimp! There is so much applied, it looks like a fluffy bark dust blanket has been spread all over. After scheduling with Hillside landscape Maintenance they sent out 4 very nice workers who were fast, friendly and efficient. We have a pretty large yard and with all the debris from multiple storms they had the job done within an hour. They even checked with us on our satisfaction before leaving which I really appreciated. AAA+++++ We happened upon Hillside Landscaping by seeing their crew working on a neighbors yard. I got a card from a crew member (very nice guy), emailed requesting a quote. Amy was super responsive, seamless communication, and Bret came out that week to do the estimate. He did a walk through with us and we were provided with a detailed estimate in a few days. We got in quickly due to another project schedule change. The crew showed up and completed our job in just a few hours. Super clean, fast workers, and our yard was spotless when they left. Bret was even able to do another estimate while here, for a future project. We are very happy and will definitely be working with Hillside again.

This company is A+ in professionalism, efficiency and quality work! From contact to finished project within a week. My yard (no grass) was quite neglected when I bought the house so a thorough clean-up was done. They also did gutters, power washing, planting and filled in low spots with dirt. I couldnt be more pleased with the whole experience. They did not disappoint.

Had two projects. One was a clean up and tree planting where we had two large trees previously removed from a different company. Hillside took away the extra large wood that we could not use, or even move, suggested and planted three beautiful ornamental trees, and gave suggestions for other plants we could plant in the area. The other project was a stone staircase in our back yard which has a steep slope. The stairs are wonderful and look amazing. The tree job was done in one day, and the stairs another. Everyone was professional and friendly. Would absolutely use again!

HLM is amazing to work with. Amy was quick to respond to my request for an estimate, and kept in constant communication throughout the project. I received 3 estimates to have some lawn pulled out and cedar chips put into my childrens play area. HLMs estimate was reasonable and included details such as capping the sprinkler heads, and using certified play chips, which others did not. And, I didnt need to be present for the estimate which I really appreciated because of my busy schedule. The work itself was done quickly (within 2 weeks) and with quality. In fact, it was completed while we were out camping, and the kids came home to a beautiful new play area which they will enjoy for years to come. HLM even offered to come back to address a dip in my lawn, which I have taken them up on. I will definitely look to HLM for additional landscaping services.

We chose Hillside for 2 reasons: Because of the nice job theyve done in our neighbors yard and because we know the family who owns the business and theyre the kind of warm, friendly people we like to support. The job they did for us was trimming bushes that had gotten too large for us to manage on our own. They completed the job quickly and did a better job than we could have. We will likely call them again next time we need yard maintenance done.

I appreciated the number of people who showed up to work on a major cleanup of my yard. What would have taken me until August to complete the team did in about 4 hours or so. I appreciate their thoroughness and cleaned and took away all debris. Very good job and really nice workers!

I cant say enough positive about Hillside Landscape Maintenance. Our backyard was a jungle. It had been neglected for years. Plants/trees were overgrown and our Pitbull had attempted to dig to China. Hillside came in and cleaned up the mess and brought fill dirt for the hole to China. They cleaned up pine needles, leaves, everything even though it was not discussed during the estimate. I definitely recommend this company.

Highly recommend Hillside Landscape. Absolutely busted butt on removing river gravel tilling adding soil and seeding. In our case it was a partial back yard grading, seeding and in one full day they were done. Came back to check on the yard periodically and we followed their instructions on watering etc. The images posted are exactly one month from the job finished to where it is at the 30 day mark. Did I say highly recommend? You bet! Thank you for the great communication and the hard work! Our family is extremely happy we have a full back yard vs an old RV parking pad and river rock covering everything else. Hope you enjoy the photos usually nobody posts aerial images of a before and after. :) Going to knock this one down to one star. One year later over 80% of the yard has died. The photos I have posted show where one soil and another was laid down. Everything the has a dark soil color has died. I have reached out to Hillside Landscape and asked them to back the work done for over $7000. All I received back was looks like you have a low spot would you like to restore it? A quote? NO! the top half is great! The fence line and deck area are dead and so is what I paid! I have never left a bad review but take the money and run? Then request more?

I hired Hillside to help me manage my quarter acre property that Id let get out of hand. The admin staff is extremely responsive and so friendly I was scheduled for a consult right away. Bret came out and spent ample time with me walking around my property, talking about my projects, and answering all of my questions. As a young, female home owner, Ive dealt with my fair share of tradesmen who dont take me seriously and are often condescending and rude. I was worried I might encounter this in the landscaping world but Bret was a true pleasure to work with carefully considering every problem I threw at him, and making me feel like a partner in the job of tackling my yard. The work itself was done skillfully and quickly, the crew was so friendly, and my yard has seriously never looked better. But whats been so impressive and stand-out to me about Hillside has been the excellent customer service they provide. I did my due diligence and called several contractors. I chose these guys because they were the ONLY ones to call me back (landscapers extremely busy right now). That being said, when the crew came out here, they did a great job - and were fast about it too. A cleanup that wouldve take me prob a couple weeks, only took them a few hours. Several of my neighbors have commented how nice it looks and how fast the guys worked.

Great company. Had them convert the grass around my fence and bushes to bark/mulch. They responded quickly to my request and were quick to get me the estimate. A few weeks later they got the work done and it looks great. Will be calling them in the fall to have them replace some bushes.

CONTEXT: December 2021 we hired Hillside Landscape Maintenance to do a big clean of our yards (including lawns, ferns, bushes, trees, gravel paths, a hillside, very tall and thick grasses, and invasive ivy and blackberries). The clean FAR exceeded our expectations, as details we didnt expect were also handled such as reshaping the grass along the driveway and removing invasive species back to the very edge of our property (thanks!). September 2022 we decided to sign up for weekly maintenance and are relieved to now have the yards looking fresh every single week. * Three of our neighboring houses now use this company, and another neighbor has requested their contact information. First of all, I always try to work with local business owners because I think building relationships with people who are invested in the community are best. Hillside is a family run business that has been around for 20 years. They are friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable. I actually got several bids for my backyard renovation project and Hillside was reasonably priced. They werent the most expensive and they werent the least, but they were definitely the best. In meeting Bret, he immediately could see the vision I wanted for the backyard. I actually drew an outline of how I wanted things to look and from there he put together a really good plan. His confidence and assurance that what we wanted to do was totally workable and within my budget was reassuring. But what sealed the deal for me was how responsive the office team was. Whenever I reached out by email I received a response back in 24 hours or less, often in an hour or two, always. I really appreciated seeing that both the field team and the office team worked together and provided the same level of customers service. That gave me confidence to work with a company like Hillside for the first time. On the day that work began a team of guys arrived with all the materials and equipment and they jumped into action. Seriously, it was an impressive sight to see these guys tackle my backyard. The area is decent size, about a quarter acre. We had six guys working, four truck loads of materials and equipment and the plan was to knock out the backyard in one day. Man, these guys had to hustle to get it done, but they made it happen. Sometimes, when I think about doing backyard work, I think to myself that I could do all the work and get the same results, but after seeing these guys complete the project (I was home all day) it showed me that a professional team like Hillside does things that I wouldnt even think of or know how to do. They have an expertise and skill, as we as the right tools, that I dont have and as a result the end product looks amazing! A project that would have taken me months to complete myself was done in one day; its the best money Ive spent on my house yet. All in all, this was a great experience, with a professional family run business who truly values service and building lasting relationship. I would highly recommend them.

HLM is awesome. One of our mutual friends has breast cancer at an early age. One of her fundraisers was a silent auction. My wife and I bid on a landscaping package offered by HLM. We had the highest bid and the guys showed up this Saturday and kicked butt. No way I could have done in a week what they did in 4 hours.
