We used them many times over last 14 months, but now my wife refuses to go back because the owner refused to refund a $35 pallet deposit because they said we were supposed to return the chicken wire that wrapped our Landscaping stone with it. After I drove them back in my car. Huh? Well you gotta cut the wire to get the stone out so who would think to bring the cut wire back. We spent over $5000 last year, with landscaping supplies and dirt,. I need to spend a few $1000 in trees this year but will be taking our business elsewhere.

Im here throughout the summer for bulk landscape supplies they have everything.

Called around noon for a big order of gravel, and they had it delivered by 2 pm. The lady driving the gravel was extra careful and got it as close to the back as possible. The effort was greatly appreciated.

Carefree has lots of landscaping staples. Most plants are good sized and well taken care of. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and always willing to make suggestions. This place seems to be a go to for downriver landscapers but they do work with individuals too. 2 years back I bought a truckload of plants, trees, shrubs, topsoil, mulch... They delivered on my schedule and made my project as easy as can be. Would definitely recommend them for a big project. Also, they have the best prices on milorganite.

Over the years weve spent a few thousand dollars here easily. Have also bought at least 15 yards or more of topsoil and it was always perfect and very fine soil.. My husband bought some Saturday morning and its awful. Ive had fill dirt cleaner than this. Its all little clumps of dirt plus There are big rocks, small rocks, tons of trash like pieces of plastic bags and also found a few pieces of glass. Im more than upset. Tried calling multiple times but its either busy or just rings.

Very, very knowledgeable and helpful staff!! This was my first year planting perrenials. I arrived at Carefree about 45 minutes before closing, they never made me feel rushed, answered all my questions and recommended some beautiful flowers and shrubs. I cant wait for next year, when I redo more of my flower beds. I know right where Im going to purchase everything from flowers to rock!! I should have started with the fact that their river rock was $10 a yard cheaper than a local competitor and topsoil was also cheaper!! Icing on the cake was the wonderful staff!!

Great place to get our rocks but because of the staffing issue it was really hard on us to do the loading unloading and reloading of the rocks on our own.

Last July I spent around $800 on three trees and flowers one of the trees are still under warranty I ve got two months left I have my credit card statement I have pictures of the tree I have the tag still on the tree I came today to buy some stones some more trees probably spend a couple of thousand dollars ask them to warranty the tree which is only around $100 the guy that s working outside tommy don t even waste your time no warranty and the warranty on that as one year I know the place has been there for awhile but Me as a customer I will not come here just make sure you know they don t back up their warranties I just wanna spend my money somewhere else. They even told me make sure you keep the tag on the tree that identifies it s from us there is a lot of places they treat you better than this place I will never buy anything from here And I know a lot of people if this name comes up I will tell them what happened until they make this right over $80 what a shame

The staff is great. Picked up 4 loads of dirt and rock and they were wonderful about making sure that you could haul what you were buying before they sold it to you. They wanted to make sure with no returns on bulk material that they didnt sell you something you couldnt take right then.

They have lots of landscape design stuff here. Its fun seeing what can be done.

Prices are substantially higher than other local Nurseries. I have purchased Rose bushes when I couldn t find them elsewhere. I went with Raupp Brothers on my Landscaping supplies because they were considerably less expensive, gave a 5% Military discount, $20 less on delivery and delivered within a few hours of placing the order. Overall, the price difference for River Rock was near $150 total for 5 yards. I am glad I price shopped before purchasing! Ridiculous price difference!

Great service! Called to have mulch and top soil delivered to my home during pandemic. Associate on the phone was friendly and consider about my needs. The delivery was efficient and fast. Driver was friendly and courteous and was considered about where I wanted the much and top soil to be placed. Called and ordered 1.5 yrs of sand for pool. They quoted, I paid, they delivered exactly what we agreed upon and right on time. They told me between noon and 2pm he was there at 12:15. Will highly recommend and will do business again.

Recently had two large boulders delivered for Landscape project in our front yard. I can not tell you how above and beyond the female truck drive spent time helping us with the placement of our 880lb boulder. She was amazing and took her time included flipping the boulder over to the side we wanted facing up. I can not thank her enough.

Gorgeous high quality substantial plants. These are no starter plants. More expensive than your little flower places. The plants are well established and sized appropriately for the price. Finally found a bird bath too!

If you looking for the best price on bagged rock salt for winter months this is your place! (50 lb bag but they will help you bring it to your vehicle) The staff is very helpful and their selection of landscaping supplies is very impressive. Keeping the Downriver beautiful since 1975!

Excellent experience! Great customer service,friendly staff, lowest prices around. When they delivered my dirt the driver let my 4 yr old son dump the dirt that made his day. I will go here for all my landscaping needs.

Usually I have no problem when I go to carefree thats where I get all my mulch.But yesterday went there got mulch they forgot three bags out off 25 that I bought.went today to get my three bags they made me feel like I was lying and said you didnt notice it yesterday.no it was 8 when we unloaded you were closed.went back the next morning.and I still did not get my 3 bags that they forgot to give me.So I guess from now on I have to supervise the workers and count them as there loading up my truck.verry unhappy with the way the handled it.
