I have used lawn Doctor of the Woodlands for a while now for my lawn care and the results are outstanding .

These people are so caring and personal. They know my lawn and discuss its details with me. The results are almost too good as I have to mow much more regularly. The lawn has never looked any better!! They got rid of weeds that I had been suffering with for years and my lawn is now amazingly weed free !

Lawn Doctor saved my lawn! My grass was in terrible condition with several issues including root rot. I m very pleased with this service. This is an update to my previous review. Its been a few years now and the service has only gotten better. They are always ready to insure that the lawn is looking its best and go out of the way to head off dangers. You dont want the word Doctor in your logo if you cant perform! I see the trucks in the neighborhood more and more as the work they do is being noticed. The Lawn Doctor crew is always responsive and timely with their service. I get numerous comments on the look of our lawn. Price, on a yearly basis, is quite competitive. Give them a shot and if you get Quincy Booker on your first service you wont want anyone else.

Excellent service today

Last May my yard was looking pretty terrible and I called around and finally settled with Lawn Doctor they came out and did an assessment and I had root rot and it was pretty extensive I did their 12 month program which ends in June and my yard is looking amazing now. It was so bad I thought I was going to have to re-sod but it s looking awesome now save me A small fortune as a resodding can be very expensive. I highly recommend them.

We have had some issues with the strength of our lawn, weeds and fungus. Lawn Doctor visited, tested our grass and made recommendations. The weeds are gone, the grass looks stronger and healthy now that we are approaching the hot summer season. We had one time when we wanted a call back. They were responsive and addressed our question promptly with another visit. We are extremely satisfied!

I used The Lawn Doctor last year. We have a half-acre lot and had been using a different company in prior years. We had an invasive weed called Doveweed that we had been battling for a couple years and for the first few treatments with The Lawn Doctor we were afraid we were losing the fight but by the end of the summer and fall we saw a significant reduction in the Doveweed. It is a very tough weed to eradicate but The Lawn Doctor did a good job. It isnt 100% gone and I dont know if it will ever be eliminated completely but were winning the battle. We are using The Lawn Doctor again this year(summer 2022) and expect to continue getting great service. Also, one of the main reasons we had stopped using the prior service provider was they were horrible at communicatin what they were doing and when they would be doing it. We had an extensive weed problem in our back yard. Lawn Doctor came and evaluated what the situation was and outlined a year plan to resolve. We have been using them for about 3 months and see a 100% improvement. They have been great. We receive notifications when they will arrive and instructions on watering, letting dogs out, .... once they leave. I am really impressed by what they have been able to do with our yard and the customer service they provide. Would definitely recommend using Lawn Doctor!!

This year I elevated my service to their premium treatments to help cure damage from Take-All-Patch lawn disease. It is working very well thru enhanced ferritization and pest control. Lawn Doctor worked for several years helping me create a lush green carpet of lawn grass. Last summers drought and relentless sunshine reeked havoc on it. Im relying on them to help me regain the progress we had made earlier. Based on past experience, I have no doubt that they will meet my expectations.

I had a bad case of take all root rot in my lawn and didnt realize what it was. My St. Augustine was an embarrassing bright yellow color. I decided to give give The Lawn Dr a try and they diagnosed the problem and treated it. It took a few months, but the lawn gradually recovered and is healthy again. Im happy with the results.

At every visit, he shares his observations and offers advice for my consideration. Unlike the other national brand, big name companies who dump their product on your lawn and run. Also, Lawn Doctor has a wide menu of products and services. I get to pick and choose what I want and need. Not one size fits all. So far, the same technician treats my lawn. I also like that continuity of service. Allows me to have a better relationship with my lawn service company. Builds trust over time.

This is the first year weve used Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands and Kris and her team are absolutely fantastic. My lawn has never looked healthier and I dont think weve been bitten by a single fire ant or mosquito all year. Would highly recommend!

The Lawn Doctor saved us!! Hurricane Harvey hit us with 4 1/2 feet of water not only in our home but left us with standing water for days. Tons of weeds came from a far that landed in our yard. Lawn Doctor turned it around and has maintained our yard for the past several years. There was no way that we could have accomplished what they did. We get complements all the time from neighbors, friends and people just walking by. They do an outstanding job, and they are very professional!! If you have a weed problem, I highly recommend them.

Desire the best lawn in the neighborhood...use LAWN DOCTOR. All of their applications prevent foul weeds, invasive molds, encourage growth and provide knowledgeable technical advice. As for value, I really am not certain. I suppose I could purchase all of Scotts lawn care equipment. seasonal fertilizers, and chemicals to find out. At the expense of killing our lawn and replacing it.

Thank goodness for Lawn Doctor! We bought our house with a one acre lawn a year ago and it was riddled with healthy weeds and struggling grass. Most of the weeds have been eliminated and Im expecting a lush green lawn this spring.

This is the best lawn service team I ve encountered in 35 years. My lawn was weed free all winter. It s weed free now and it s coming up green and robust. They ve already done two applications and we ve got a week left in February. Last year we decided to use their trees and shrubs service, too, and the results were great.

I am very happy with the attitude and willingness to help of all the people I have dealt with at Lawn Doctor. Everyone is very nice. But I am terribly frustrated with their success at ridding my shrubs and trees of disease. I have an annual contract with them, paid a year in advance. Every time I have come our to spray, I have seen no change in the disease condition of my plants. The first time they came, I called them about it. They came back out and sprayed again no change. They came back out last week. Each time they come back out when I am home, I asked them about it, and I get some reason that the disease is still there. Too much rain, or all the neighborhood is having the same problem, or some horticultural reason my plants are not getting well. New growth keeps coming out with same issues. They came last week, I got some reason again. After the left I cut every shrub and plant way back and removed most leaves that remained on some of the shrubs. I went out back and saw my Magnolia tree and it has some sort of awful disease that it hasnt had before, or maybe I have missed noticing it during winter months. White moldy stuff on back of leaves and white, yellow or brown spots on top. I dont have time to call every time and still not get any results. I have used them since I moved to Windsor Hills in June. I am very concerned about the magnolia tree now, and about it spreading to all my other plants again. I have been sick and very busy the last few days and i really dont have time for this. And I want my plants clear of disease. I am ready to cancel my contract. Just havent had tome to call today.

They also walked me through all the non lawn related things I needed to do first (drainage, gutters, etc..) before they even attempted to start treating my lawn. Our grass needed help. We were oversaturating with the watering. They gave us a rain gage and showed us how much to water and when. They put a special formula on the spots we killed and the grass started coming back. The last time they treated the yard a gully washer rain came after. I had Lawn Doctor come out to my new house to help boost my lawn and look at an issue in a 3x3 patch of grass. They came out and said we can boost the lawn and get it going. They said the patch was due to the grass not getting enough water. After hearing that I started to water it more. After the first treatment the patch got a lot worse, so I called them back. They said it was just a small fungus (once again barely glancing at it) and they would treat it and that it would all be fixed. After 2 more weeks the spot got so bad, I had to call back a third time. They came out and after doing a real inspection this time they said it was Root Rot and they could treat it for $1160. I paid them to come out months ago and help my lawn not guess on what s wrong and keep on charging me for more. I do not recommend this company they seem to not know what they are doing and just want to up charge you instead of solving the problem in your lawn.

I was a customer for over two years. On 3 separate occasions multiple cameras captured their techs missing big areas of our yard. The first two times they came out and reapplied. The third time they said were sorry we can t live up to your standards. My standards? I just ask that my entire yard get sprayed. There is zero debating it was missed as video doesn t lie! I would suggest cameras to ensure you are getting what you pay for!

Lawn Doctor has been servicing my lawn for the past few months. I have found them to be professional and thorough. I was impressed that I was able to text a technician several times over this past weekend in an effort to identify a rapidly growing problem with my lawn. The tech asked for photos and was able to identity my problem and was on site at my home to confirm the problem on Monday! He confirmed his diagnosis, and took immediate action to treat the problem. This is exceptional customer service far and above the service I have received from other lawn care companies I have dealt with.

This year weeds were an issue for my neighbor, but not me :) I am happy to report they had to mow their yard a few weeks before I did because of the weed growth they had. Customer service with Lawn Doctor is also amazing, I love the text option to quickly reply to my technician, and ask questions. I feel like they are the authority on lawns and I am happy to have them in my corner.

I hired Lawn Doctor last year for lawn and shrub care. The lawn has improved with less weeds, however, I was home a couple of times when they applied fertilizer / weed killer, prior to today, and watched from inside the house as it was applied only to see that half of my backyard had been completely missed. I have windows all along the backside of the house so I had a clear view of what was happening. This particular guy was too busy texting on his phone to do a good job. He would stop every few feet to text and then would look at his watch. It was being applied any old way just to get it done as quickly as possible, Im assuming because I was his last stop for the day. The same thing happened with the shrub application, when Scott applied it, on another occasion. When I pointed out the missed areas, both guys proceeded to go over the areas that had been missed. Scott told me that he hadnt finished, even though he had started on that side of the yard to begin with. He was headed back to the truck when I brought the missed shrubs to his attention. I shouldn t have had to babysit to make sure they were doing the job right. Had I not been home and observed this, I wouldn t have known. They supposedly applied another lawn and shrub application today, but there was zero evidence that anything had been applied to the shrubs. The lawn was wet but there wasn t any sign of a liquid spray having been applied to the shrubs, which was what I was told was done when I asked. I pulled into my driveway as their guy was leaving so there wasnt any lag time where the application applied to the shrubs would have dissipated that quickly. The leaves on the shrubs should have still been wet in spots, but they were completely dry, even the shrubs in shaded areas of the yard. Bringing this to Scott s and Kriss attention was met with disbelief and defensiveness to the point that I cancelled their services. They seem like nice people, but are not completely honest and need to be watched. It s a red flag when business owners become offended when a customer brings valid issues to their attention, especially when the problem has occurred a couple of times already. Their services are expensive and I expected them to be thorough and to do a good job. I decided enough was enough and will take my business elsewhere.

Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands-Magnolia does a great job at a reasonable price. Im a DIYer most of the time with my home and cars. In the past, Ive tried DIY lawn care with hit or miss results (mainly misses); but with Lawn Doctor, my lawn has never looked greener. I mow my own lawn, but l leave the fertilization and weed control to Lawn Doctor. I will also note that my lawn requires alot less water. I am 100% satisfied with Lawn Doctors service.

The tech that came out sprayed something on all of my new sod and burned it. Everything died so I am re-sodding. After two months my yard looked so bad I canceled the service.

Our front lawn was looking pretty pathetic....large bald spots. Kris from Lawn Doctor came out to take a look, and her diagnosis was sod web worms and cinch bugs. Her crew came out and did an insect treatment, along with fertilization. We saw a noticeable improvement within that first week. Then a few days later, we started to see large yellow patches all over the lawn. I called Kris, and she said it sounded like the lawn could not keep up with the rapid new growth and needed iron. Once again, her crew came out (free of charge) and treated the lawn with an iron solution. Within two days, we saw the yellow patches begin to disappear! I have been extremely pleased with Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands. Their expertise and customer service are excellent!

They treated my lawn which had these dead patches. Within days of the treatment the lawn bounced back and its looking great again.

NEVER have we had a lawn service that is so dedicated to help make our lawn beautiful. We had some issues with our lawn and needed help. We could not do it ourselves...too overwhelming. We phoned Lawn Doctor one day this week. The owner comes by the very NEXT day. Punctual to the second! The owner was professional, courteous, listened, and then began his diagnosis. Then the FOLLOWING day (the day before Thanksgiving!) the owner scheduled his team to come to our home and treated our lawn. Lawn Doctor takes pride in their work. They are dependable, reasonably priced, detailed, knowledgeable...you name it. We are not disappointed with one single thing. Extremely satisfied.

I used Lawn Doctor to perform a core aeration service on my lawn. Kris was extremely responsive and communicated very well throughout the process. Their rate was only slightly higher than renting the machine and performing the work myself, and it saved me the trouble. The weather held them up a few days, as the heavy rains wouldnt permit the work. Kris kept me in the loop the entire time, and let me know when the ground was dry enough to come out with their machine. Their team performed the work quickly and even spent some time after completion cleaning up the driveway and sidewalks, making sure all of the plugs of dirt pulled out of the lawn were off the concrete. Great job overall and I will definitely call them for future needs.
