Weed Man Lawn Care in Toledo

I hired weed man to fertilize and weed control. My lawn got worse instead of better. The weeds never went away and got heavier. My grass looked worse. I had other services scheduled but canceled them. Waste of money. I will take my business elsewhere to see if it can be done right.

They always called to let me know when then were coming and showed up when the said they would.

So, here is the deal... I have been using Weed Man for a couple of years. Before Weed Man, my lawn looked like s***. With the program they have me on, not only has my lawn come back, but it is as beautiful and as healthy as I have ever seen it in almost 10 years. They have been out multiple times when requested to re-evaluate a specific issue. Now, that is great service. Their prices are reasonable. I am very happy I use Weed Man. Give them a try; you will not be disappointed.

If you could have seen my weeded lawn before the care from Weed Man Lawn Care. We have only had 2 applications and its very lush with little to no weeds. I could see after the very first application the weeds dying and then disappearing from the lawn all together. We are so confident with their services we are moving onto the insect treatments. I really liked our service with Weedman, but I have the opportunity to have a retired family member care for our yard now. They were a little pricey, but worth every dollar knowing that my lawn was cared for in a timely manner throughout the entire season. I still use them for insect control which I love and it helps alot with our kids and dog playing in the yard by killing most of the annoying pests.

I have just signed up to start Weed Man services. The process was very easy. The staff was very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions and concerns. I feel very confident with my choice for lawn care. It eased my mind to know that I can reach out at any time if I should have any questions.

Fertilizer and weed control applications have been very good. Grass went from thin in certain areas to a nice green thick lawn.

I can t speak to their service, which might be outstanding. But after calling them for an estimate, I was contacted by no fewer than FIVE separate representatives two of whom called me after I had already sent a detailed email explaining why I wouldn t be using them. The one I engaged with told me they couldn t do the service I requested when I wanted it (spring aeration vs. fall). That s fine, I understand. But he immediately offered to sell me, as a new homeowner, several other services I hadn t asked for. After sending a short note that I wasn t interested, they followed up by phone and email - several by the gentleman I had interacted with, but two additional calls from reps I hadn t talked to. So I sent a detailed email to the first gentleman, explaining that the multiple contacts, the inability to provide the service I wanted, the immediate offer to sell me service I didn t want, and the feeling I got from the new homeowner mention all felt predatory, like I was just a lead in the system and that I was hearing not from lawn professionals but sales people. I was no longer interested, I said. I was polite and tried to be constructive in how I shared the feedback, and wished them success. While the person I had exchanged with did stop calling, I have now had two additional voice mails from OTHER Weed Man reps - which just reinforces my perception that I am just a lead in their sales machine, seen as a quota filler and not a customer; I am absolutely being contacted by sales people and not lawn pros. Anyone contacting them should be aware that even an initial outreach will mean being contacted a dozen times, often by different reps who are just pulling their info out of a database. I want to reiterate that I have not used Weed Man s services and I cannot speak to the quality of their work; I don t want to disparage it and this review is NOT about their work. Rather, it s to express displeasure over overbearing sales and the sense they gave me that they just wanted to sell me something anything as long as they could get me to buy. If their service is as good as the reviews indicate, some may decide it s worth it. I for one would prefer to do business with a company that is interested in my lawn more than my money.

We have used Weed Man for about 10 years now at two different houses and wouldn t choose anyone else. We had a problem with grubs one year and they came right out and addressed it. They always text first and give you 24 to 48 notice that they are spraying. You have a prepaid options which saves some money if you choose to do that. Our yard has never looked better!

Had a great experience with weed man! The product was fantastic. I let my yard go and without treatment for a year because the city tore up my yard to work on a gas line. It looked horrible and they planted different seed from what was in my yard and there were weeds all throughout. Weed Man treated my yard and within a few short months there was a huge turn around. I have some of the best looking grass in the neighborhood.

This is the absolute worst weed prevention company Ive ever used. After two seasons , my yard is riddled with weeds. Ive asked for a manager to make an appearance on my property, they havent. After many calls and this very last application of post emergent weed control being applied in the pouring down rain. I told them to cancel my service and Im not paying for the last application. They charged my card anyway, dont trust this company. I even have videos of them only treating 75% of my property on every occasion. Piss poor service. I will be posting videos on TikTok so everyone can see thier quality work! They charge $70 to be on my property for roughly 3 minutes. Like I said before they practically run during the application, so they miss alot of the yard. They also have no idea where the property line is, they look on Google maps to determine the boundaries of your property and of course they were wrong. They performed one service call to retreat the yard, but again missed 50%, he walked around with a portable sprayer and walked in rows 20 apart. I have better results using a weed and feed bottle you connect to the garden hose.

We have had Weedman for weed and pest control over the past two years. What I really like about them is that they leave a message that they will arrive in the next 48 hours. so this gives us the chance to mow the lawn if needed before they arrive. Plus if we did have any issues they were right on it, returning one time due to the discrepancy of what property we owned and what the neighbors owned. They came right back that day to treat the other 4 feet strip of grass. We also have had Weedman treat our lawn for grub worms and spray the house for spiders and other bugs. If you see grub worms get it treated. We didn t see any but we did have beetles eating the leafs of our green plants and grub worms turn into leaf eating beetles! I would certainly recommend Weedman and have the pest control and lawn treatments performed.

We have used Weed Man services for a full year this year and a partial year previous to that. The difference was noticeable right away. My yard was more weeds than grass and thats why we called them--we couldnt mow or get through it at all. We now are a full turn in the other direction--almost all grass. It is so thick and great now, and it grows like crazy. We will keep up this service, as the lawn looks so much better and is much better to maintain, even if we have to mow ALL the time!

I work nights and the guys don t bother me when they do the work, they simply leave a flag in the yard and I get an email notice. That is such a bonus to me. Im very pleased with the results I have seen since I discovered WeedMan. I have been working with them for 2 years. I started with aeration and overseeding using the correct grass seed for each area of my yard. I have both heavy shade and full sun. I especially appreciate receiving a text a day or two prior to lawn treatments so I can mow or pick up sticks prior to the treatment. My lawn has never looked better. Thanks guys!

Weed Man located at 8800 Airport Highway Holland Ohio 43528 is to be avoided at all costs! As a long-time customer I contacted them to pay for the upcoming 2021 year. The man who answered the phone was very rude and argumentative and would not allow me to pay for the weed control packages I requested since I didn t want fertilization and kept asking why. when I told him if I couldn t pick the package I wanted I just wanted to cancel and he slammed the phone down on me. Very shady operation! Go to his competitor.

For anyone who has or is considering using the Weed Man Lawn Service I would like to worn you to cancel or not use this service. Last year I noticed that our yard had more weeds then the year before and it was the first year with the service this year I have security cameras and found out why! They only did one strip down each side. If you listen in on the video the technician even quits dispensing before making it to the end of the yard. Very disappointed. Customer service representative was rude on phone and repeatedly let me know I didn t know what I was talking about and was wrong.

Theyre reliable and their service has always been fast. I dont have a huge yard, but it only takes them a few minutes. They show up and come to the door and go over what all they are going to do that day and then get to work. They are always happy to answer questions and go over anything that me.or.my wife have concerns about. We used them mostly because we have dogs and they run paths into our yard, theres only so much that can be done about that, but I can definitely say it has gotten better.

We have had Weedman for two years. The only change we have seen is that the dandelions died last year. We didn t have many to start with though. However all the other weeds are flourishing. Our yard looked better before we contracted with Weedman. I would strongly advise people to find another lawn service. I wanted to post pictures but was not given the option.

These people are scanners, they send you bill without conning to your lawn to apply fertilizer, Stay away from this company.

We are so disappointed in Weed Man Lawn Care Toledo, OH - both with the condition of our lawn and their customer service - and will definitely not use them next year. We were out of state for three months this spring/summer and were so embarrassed to return home and find both sides of our front yard full of clover, crab grass and something else that I couldnt even identify. It looked like the lawn of a house in foreclosure (we could have not done/paid for lawn treatments and gotten the same results). It took two phone calls to Weed Man before someone finally called me back to discuss our lawn, and when I asked about reimbursement for the fact that we had paid for treatments that were not effective, the gentleman said hed have someone from the admin department call me. Not surprisingly, the admin department never called so I called again and still havent heard from them. I then sent an email to the head of our local area detailing the problems we were having with our lawn and customer service and that has been ignored too. And finally, the gentleman that came out and treated the lawn left our back gate open when he went out to his truck to get something. I thought he was done and gone so I let our dog out. Thank goodness I caught her before she went flying out the open side gate. Were disappointed with Weed Man Toledo in every way possible this year. If I could give them less than one star, I would.

My lawn looks fabulous. The staff was very patient and kind about all the extra things they to deal with and work around in my backyard because of all our pets. It is greatly appreciated. Do not give your info to these people. They came door to door over a year ago and i mistakenly gave my phone # out so they would leave. They have harassed me every week for over a year, I have blocked multiple numbers, verbally told them I wasnt interested and they keep at it. They just wont stop.

NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!! I am a minister. Am one of the MOST honest and just persons you will ever meet! Now, my husband and I are elderly (75, 61) children grown and in other states. We have to hire people to help us maintain our property. I read about/heard all the weedman BS, and fell for it. We called and they said they would be out (gave approximate date) NEVER SHOWED. Weeks later, we debated to give them another try (forgiving), again, NEVER SHOWED. We had weeds up to near waist, and were heated on the phone, but got an appology and reason for NO SHOW (many excuses of management change, books and computer problems, etc.) We forgave. Someone came out and sprayed (by that time a neighbor complained with the city and we had to face that!). We kept calling (3 times) asking Why the weeds are still there? barely any change! They said Usually you have to wait a couple weeks. < Im like WHAT?! I already waited so many weeks and now they are almost as tall as me! (I went out and started pulling and bagging). They said This time, the owner of Weedman will be out to spray and see what is going on. Their next application was good, under somewhat control. But one day, I decided we do not need the next application as much as we needed the $ (then), and while I was out front of my house, the Weedman truck pulls up and is sitting in his truck doing paperwork and I walked up and said We dont need this application RIGHT NOW, it is pretty much weedless, so do not spray anymore until we call to continue your service. He said Okay, logged it, and drove off. NOW, we keep getting the bill for service NEVER RENDERED! We called and threatened to NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! They did not care, talked softly over my words, saying It will go to collection... I said ...and I can see it will go to court...Is this how you treat your customers? Are you that greedy that you have to do this? ...ya know, we really wanted your service, and would have continued, but...! For court, I realized I have no pictures, but then, THE CITY DOES!

Do not use this service. They will scam you!!!!!!!!!!
