Had Humberto come and remove some old wooden planters and replace with a stone one. His bid was about $1000 less than the next closest bid. The stone work was very well done. Part of the job was to relocate the drip irrigation system so it would cover the new structure and some pots. He did that but that zone wouldn’t respond to the controller. He made an attempt to fix it and it was clear he wasn’t proficient in irrigation. So we got a price reduction and hired an irrigation specialist to fix it. Turned it on and one of the drip heads didn’t work. There were a couple other minor issues I contacted him about but he never responded to fix them. Bottom line is if you have a pure stonework project, this company is fine. If irrigation involved, maybe not. If having a responsive company that returns to fix issues that pop up a week or two after is important to you, think again. On the other hand we did spend $1000(minus irrigation repair of $300) less than other companies would have charged. And they may have not done any better

Humberto and his crew did a fantastic job! Quality is very good. In fact, Humberto saw the pavers that were partially installed the first day and did not like them (me too) as there was white caustic on the surface. He took them back and got new ones the next day. His crew is fast and efficient while maintaining good quality! The job site was clean after the job was done! Highly recommended!

Humberto Rayal and his crew did a wonderful job extending my brick paver patio. He made sure to find the closest match to the existing brick. It matches perfectly. They were so professional, careful and considerate and really nice to work with. Arrived and finished as scheduled. I’m thrilled with the result and highly recommend this company.

I was very happy initially working with Humberto. Him and his crew did a great job to install a walkway and patio in my yard. However, Humberto continually offered to help with my irrigation system. I was happy to take his help. My front yard zone was operational but the back yard zones were not. As part of the patio installation, they had trouble with the backyard zones and their fix was to completely turn off my irrigation system! My front yard zone is thus no longer operational. I find this "fix" unacceptable. I tried reaching out numerous times to Humberto to put in a bid and to schedule a proper fix this. He has been unresponsive for 3 months.

Humberto and his crew installed a paver patio in our backyard. The crew was very nice, conscientious, and did a fantastic job installing our patio. I would recommend Raya Landscaping for any project you might have. Humberto even arranged to meet us at the paver store so that we could choose the stone in person rather than out of a catalogue.

We were referred to Raya Landscaping by the salesperson at the pavers distributor. They know a lot of landscapers, so that alone was meaningful. Victor and Javier did an excellent job installing a new patio in our side yard and repairing our backyard patio that had begun sinking from erosion and tree root damage. They are personable and knowledgeable professionals, with a good eye for aesthetic choices. Also, Humberto Raya (the business owner) is a great communicator. He totally visualized what I wanted, and knew the answers to concerns I had about drainage issues. I highly recommend this company for professionalism, aesthetics and value.

Excellent service and very hard working team. We had another contractor back out on us at the last minute for installing a patio with pavers in our backyard as it's down a hill and he thought it was to much work. Raya came right over after we contacted him through Homeadvisor. They started working within three days and were finished in 4 more days, exceeding our expectations and at a fair price.
