April 13 I gave Josh permission to spray my yard for weeds. I left that day for a 3 week vacation. I trusted him. He sprayed on Sunday and for the next 2 days called me -over the top-apologizing for damaging my yard telling me that he would make it right, didn't want to be sued, would sod the entire yard or rake and seed it, all the while insisting that he thought someone had sprayed before him. "Don't drag me to court. Worse case, I've got insurance to resod. I'll make it right. I won't leave you hanging. Trust me. I'll make it right. I'll come back for free and mow with a bag." Imagine how upsetting that is when you know you have 3 weeks before you can come home and see what happened. He said he would come and check on it while I was gone and didn't. I came back on May 4 and sent him pictures. His attitude was now combative and finally said he would mow the yard for free. (65.00 agreed upon contract price) I had paid him 75.00 to spray the yard. Josh and 2 others mowed the yard-no bushes-and took a small tree limb off my clothesline that had fallen. He said he put seed on the ditch place only. It was burnt yellow. May 20th I texted him that i was not happy. He called back in a rage, told me he was done with me, accused me of talking him into a lower fee for his services. He said he hadn't damaged anything. I had planned to give him my account for mowing and lawn care. He asked me if he wanted me to bring sod to cover the burnt patches. I said yes and he told me he would be here in 9 days which would be Wednesday. April 14-May 27. He never came. My entire yard is damaged. Several men-companies have walked the yard and said Josh caused the problems looking at the patterns in the yard, and that it needs to be re-seeded. That will be my expense to pay since he will not admit-now-that he didn't do the damage. Josh said all his other customers are happy but me. When he left my house after mowing he said, I just gave you a 150.00 value. Mowing a yard is not a $150.00 value. Now he reports to all readers that it was 450.00. Again, he mowed the grass. He didn't trim bushes. No one had put anything on my yard. He put circles around the bushes. Green circles show up in the yard. Josh was a good salesman, telling me he would give me free mows if he could put a sign in my yard. I was his first Ocilla yard and he wanted to grow Ocilla through me. I have only told you a portion about how he yelled at me. He now thinks I am asking too much and again, "I"m DONE with you." 110 West 6th Street Ocilla Ga. 31774 See for yourself. He wishes me well? Reply to his reply I didn't have fungus or bugs. My lawn was in good shape. No one had ever put weed treatment on my yard in years. Look at the round circles in my yard. It was not just 1/8 of my yard. It's everywhere. I hugged Josh to extend a hand. I shook the hands of his 2 workers and thanked them for mowing my grass. It didn't solve the problem. I am staring at grass that is not growing because there is no seed there. I didn't ask Josh to sod the yard. Just the patches out front. Are you still planning to bring out the 300.00 in sod you promised? You didn't, but you wished me well on your reply to my review. Breaking ties has nothing to do with money..you broke ties because you don't want to keep your promises, and because you have gone from pleading with me 2 days of my much needed vacation to let you make it right to denying you've hardly even done anything. No, I'm not happy and can't imagine anyone being happy about staring at dead grass. My Dad and my yard man had done a great job with my yard. My yard man had to leave due to an accident. I was going to use Josh to fertilize and keep up the yard. I had a few weeds that my former yardman said, "You don't need to spray. Your yard is so healthy it will choke out those weeds." I should have listened. Maybe this review will save someone expense and hardship dealing with Josh. I thought I could trust you, Josh. Instead you treated me with disrespect, and lied to the public.

Our property needed an initial cleanup after over a year of neglect. Josh did an amazing job, clearing old trash and debris as well as mowing and edging. His response time was fast, and his prices were extremely reasonable. We are overly pleased, and highly recommend JLC Outdoor Services.

I called Josh because the Google reviews were good and now, I know why. He came out to look at what I needed done when he said he would. He gave me a very reasonable price. He set up a time to come do the work and communicated very well before and during the process. He wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the work. And he and his crew did a beautiful job. And on top of that he’s a great guy. I would absolutely recommend him!

Josh is incredible! He is very conscientious and meticulous and it always comes out perfect! Not only does he take care of my lawn and trees, he helps me with other things like putting up Christmas decorations and other small tasks. Highly recommend him and you will not be disappointed!

I received an advertisement in the mail for landscaping services and contacted Josh for a quote. He was able to get back to me within 12 hrs and scheduled an appointment to come out for a free quote within 3 days. We walked the property (0.5 acre) and I let him have free range with any landscaping improvements he deemed necessary. His quote was more than fair and he was able to get all of the trees & hedges trimmed, removed overgrown vines, broken tree limbs & all weeds. He even laid fresh pine down throughout the front and back yard. I’m so impressed with his work that I’ve also chosen to hire him for the lawn maintenance of our property. He does give a military discount, and I’d highly recommend to anyone! Seriously 5/5 stars. Thank you again SO much Josh for all that you did!
