Just hit our 2 year anniversary as a customer and we've been extremely happy and satisfied with Grounded Lawn as our landscape maintenance company and snow removal. Matthew is extremely responsive and excellent with communication. Payments are easily made online with invoices received via email/text. The team takes care of mowing, trimming, aerating, winterization, sprinkler startup, and fall/spring cleanup. Any concerns or issues are promptly addressed and resolved with confirmation to ensure we are satisfied. Highly recommend!

Have been using Grounded for the past two years for lawn care. They are very responsive with questions and issues you might have. They are also honest, when they broke a sprinkler head they were honest and replaced it within a few days. Would recommend to anyone for landscape needs they offer
It's a pleasure working with Matthew and his crew. They are dependable and do a good job on our lawns. I was also pleased with the winter service to clear the snow within 24 hours. They do maintenance for the fall by trimming the shrubbery, clean up the leaves, and shut down the sprinkler system for winter. And of course, they are ready after the winter to check the sprinklers, aerate and fertilize for a new year.
Like the dentist or Dr. you do everything in your power to keep for as long as possible, Grounded Lawn is cut from the same cloth. Grounded Lawn recently transformed both our front and backyard landscaping, replacing rocks, installing new pavers and sod, and overall simplifying and cleaning up the plantings. Nick was very easy to work with and collaborated with us to give us what we were wanting. We changed more than a few things along the way and he was always very responsive. His team was professional and prompt and we would definitely work with him again.
We hired Nick after seeing some of the other completed backyards in our neighborhood. We were expecting a total sticker shock after being quoted by 4 other companies and we'd have to say we weren't. Nick and his team were fantastic to work with! Our project was an 800 square foot paver patio with a walkway and we could not be more happy with the results. We were unsure on exactly what we wanted and he was able to take the small vision that we gave him and turn it into something beautiful while keeping it within our desired budget. Even with the inclement weather that we had, Nick always made sure that we were taken care of and truly went above and beyond on this project for us. We will definitely be using him in the future. I hired Nick and his team for basically an entire overhaul of our yard - demo of the existing fence and railroad tie retaining wall, new fence, new 100ft two-tiered stone retaining wall, significant grading and moving dirt around to make our yard more spacious and functional, and planting trees. I am so happy with the finished product! Nick was patient and helpful as we considered the scope of the project, helped to keep it within our budget, and churned out a quality job at a much lower cost than the other 3 estimates I received. Could not recommend Grounded Lawn more!
Nick and Grounded Lawn built our fence last fall and had already landscaped several yards in our new neighborhood when we hired them to landscape our new-build backyard. They recently finished and it turned out great. He helped us a ton with good ideas, navigated the permit process for gas lines and a built in fire pit, tree/shrub suggestions, etc. the end result is awesome. He nailed the timeline estimates he gave in advance (for both project start and end), kept us up to date throughout the work, and every person on the crew that worked on the yard was thoughtful and detail-oriented. Well definitely use Grounded Lawn again for future projects.
From our first interaction, Nick was honest, friendly and knowledgeable. He was very confident and understood our vision for a new backyard design perfectly. His team was efficient and got our yard done in a very timely manner. He installed sod, rock, a paver patio, and a pathway. We even requested horseshoe pits! We recently moved into a new build and hired Grounded Lawn for our fence and backyard landscape. Not only were we impressed with how quickly he was able to finish both jobs, he did it beautifully and flawlessly and was competitively priced. Also worth noting he was super helpful when it came to answering the plethora of questions we had (us knowing nothing about landscaping never having done it before). He helped us with the layout design for the backyard, and with deciding on what types of trees and shrubs would look nicely together. Everything turned out perfectly how we d envisioned and we are very pleased we hired Grounded Lawn for the job. Our experience building a paver patio and path with Grounded Lawn was 5 Star. From the initial estimate consult to the very end, we felt that Nick and his team provided clear communication, exceptional quality work, and a beautiful end product. During the consultation I did not feel pressured, or pushed into making a decision and Nick gave me ideas, instead of just asking what did we want and not talking it out to make sure we were all on the same page. He also came out a second time after we decided to make the patio larger. The team worked so hard to give us a beautiful outdoor space and we couldn t be happier!

Their quote came in much lower than other quotes we received and they gave us some good alternate options that helped to lower the cost that we hadnt considered before and looked great. Nick laid the complete rear landscaping for our new build home this past summer/fall... saying it was a challenging design is an understatement, with oddly shaped retaining walls/planter beds, and paver stone walking paths, but my wife and I were intent on achieving the design we had in place. Nick worked with us every step of the way, helping to modify a few things which were better done another way, breaking up the work to be completed in the most logical steps, (and with appropriate other sub contractors when it made sense), and kept me informed of impact to price always on the same day as we ever made any changes. He s so motivated and organized... he was the only landscaper we talked to that, after seeing the plan we had, got back to us that same day with strong email communications and a bid and starting date all ready to go. Thanks, Nick! We can t wait for this summer to be out back enjoying it!
