My son bought me an excite 380 mower on 4/22/2023 after mowing with it a couple of times it shut off and would not start back up. I took it to Thomasville Lawn & garden where it was purchased, and they could not fix it. Keith the owner at Thomasville Lawn & garden contacted Husqvarna, and they told him to give me another Excite 380 which he did. I then started having a lot of electrical issues with that mower. I took it back and forth to Thomasville lawn & garden numerous times, and it was never fixed properly. The last time I took it up there Keith got upset about it, but he let me leave it there. After a couple of weeks he called me telling me he was going to convert the mower to a manual mower without all the electronics on it. I agreed to that but that never happened. He then said he was going to take it to Charlotte and let Husqvarna convert it. Well that never happened. I later got a call from Thomasville Lawn & garden telling me my mower was ready. I asked Bobby if it had been converted, and he said no that Keith was trading me a MZ54 and I would get a refund on the difference. Furthermore, I said well I will come up there after work. So I did get the mower, but they never refunded me the difference between the 2 mowers which is around 1,101.00. I trusted them because I have been doing business with them for years. I asked Patricia about it which is the owner's wife, and she basically blew me off and in so many words told me I was not getting a refund. Not only that, but I still have the MZ54 sitting in my building untouched because I really want my Excite 380 converted over and given back to me like I was promised and not a used one either. Furthermore, I have also contacted Husqvarna, and they have not been any help with this at all. They are letting Thomasville Lawn & Garden get by with this, and it is not fair because I would never have agreed to trade my mower for a cheaper mower and not get a refund on the difference. I do need to say the first mower had around 10 hours on it and the second around 16 hours. I ended up calling the BBB and got them involved and filed my complaint. So after that Thomasville lawn and garden said once again they would convert my excite 380 which was sitting at the store. Keith said he would have it done in about 3 weeks which he did, the only thing is when I got up there to pick up my mower it wasn't my mower. Keith had a exciteZ345 instead. Which I will add it was used and from the scent and dent sale and a lot cheaper mower than what my son paid for so once again we got ripped off. I went ahead and took this mower because I am so tired of arguing with TLG and Husqvarna. All I know is our good LORD above knows I told the truth about this mower and how I have been done by TLG and Husqvarna. They call themselves Christians, but they ripped my son off and will have to answer for everything they have done. I will never buy another piece of Husqvarna equipment after this.
So this place was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful during the buying process of our zero turn lawn mower. We purchased this mower through financing and also paid extra to have it delivered since we have no way to tow. However we have an issue with one of the springs for the hydraulic drive motor without it the mower will not drive. The first time this happened there were only 4 hours on the mower. When we called and told them this happened they insisted we bring it in even though we reiterated that we had no way to pull this. My husband, who is a mechanic by trade, was able to come and get a replacement spring. Flash forward to 7 hours on the mower and the replacement spring breaks AGAIN in the same exact place. And yet again they want us to bring it in after stating several time that we cannot. They refuse to mail us a stronger one also. We live about 40 minutes away from this place and it is not that simple just to drop by. To me this is lack luster customer service. We have had trouble with the same thing twice within extremely short periods of time. It is time to go above and beyond so that I could leave a positive review instead of this negative one. It would cost them $20 at the most to make a customer happy. That happy customer will then in turn spread the word about how amazing this place was to work with. They will talk about how the customers are first and how happy they aim to make the customer when something doesn’t go the way that it should. I will not recommend this place to anyone. They are not trying to work with us, they are not working toward making their customers number one.
I bought a Husqvarna 42" riding lawnmower from this company. I was treated amazing. The mower is awesome. I was in the military they gave me a 10% discount for serving. They delivered the mower and the owner was the person that delivered it. He was very kind took the time to chat with me.... they have a customer for life!!!!
Josh was very helpful and quick in the purchase of my Hustler Raptor X 54 took less than 20 minutes to do paperwork and get loaded up.

I reached out late at night to ask a question via their website. I was responded to promptly first thing in the morning. I asked a lot of questions over the next several days and the communication was great. The individual I worked with was friendly, and knowledgeable. Gave me great expectations about my inquiry. A week later I reached out again to see about putting money down on a mower to hold when it came in because it wasn t out yet. The person I had been communicating with went and double checked their latest delivery prior to responding. When he reached out he let me know he had just received the mower earlier than expected and was going to hold it for me. Drove 30min to pickup the mower. Everything was set and waiting for me. I was given a thorough walkthrough of the mower and the functions and got to see it run. Afterwards, It Took no time to get it paid for and loaded. The establishment was very nice and clean. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I got the mower home and unloaded. Went to crank it and it wouldn t start up. It was too late to reach out so I waited until the next morning. I sent an email and was responded to almost immediately. I was unable to make the call needed at the time so I called later in the afternoon and got to speak with a tech. This guy was great at listening to what I had going on. He apologized for me having the issue although it wasn t something that was their fault. He offered to come to my house and take a look. Once he arrived, he found there was a manufacturer defect that had caused the auto choke to stay open. He fixed it to where I could use the mower, and he assured me he would get replacement parts ordered. He was one of the nicest people taking time to come to my house to see what was going on. The plan is parts will be ordered, someone will come pick up the mower, he s going to give it an in depth check then return it to me. In the meantime I can use it as needed while we wait. Now you may be thinking this should have been caught when it came in but this is a brand new mower, first release, and the issue isn t something anyone would capture while doing initial checks. This was a manufacturer issue but TLG is so amazing they took ownership. I couldn t ask for better service all around. I work at a large company specializing on consumer relationships and Net promoter scores. This is the type of service every consumer wants. I would highly recommend TLG for all your lawn and garden needs and I will take all future business to them. It s worth the 30 min drive for the service they provide.

I ve only been here one time to have my Echo backpack leaf blower repaired. The folks were helpful and let me know exactly what was wrong and the price. Fair prices. The shop was clean and well-supplied with all sorts of outdoor equipment. All of my interactions are clear, concise and to the point. They are busy in the spring and they told me that up front and their time estimate was spot-on. I have zero complaints and would recommend them for services and (likely) sales should I need anything in the future. Thanks folks for your hard work and attention to detail.

Bought my mower last summer, sometime around fall the deck belt broke. I took it to TL&G to fix it. It turns out the factory warranty covered it but it still didn t sound right. So this year I decided to take it to them to check the bearings, pulleys and belt while it was still under the factory warranty. They said that it would take 2 weeks to check it out. Almost 2 weeks go by they call to tell me that everything is good they cleaned from under the deck and sharpened the the blades. I said I hope I don t owe anything! The guy that called me snickering says yea $100.05 . By the way I cleaned the deck and sharpened the blades before I took it to them..I didn t ask for him to do that he told me that i brought it up to them to check it so he fixed it.. I brought it to them to check the operation of the deck to make sure bearings are not going out again while it was still under warranty! So this guy told me that he would have the owner to call me.. so Keith ( the owner) called. So I told him everything that happened. I told him that I couldn t afford it and that I just brought it up there to check for the warranty items . Keith tells that $25 $50 $75 even $100.05 not that much I told him that it was a lot to me being I was the one working in my family and my wife is disabled and recovering from kidney cancer.. Keith said that EVERYBODYS ALWAYS WANTING SOMETHING FOR NOTHING and he has to feed 5 families and he just to just come and get the mower. He didn t charge me for the work that I didn t ask for. But, I will not be going back to them. Thanks

I brought a chainsaw in to have the idle adjusted and to have a bar chain leak looked at. I was told that husqvarna are leaky and I should buy a case to catch the oil. Anyway when I cranked the saw it would still not idle. I suspect they did nothing to the saw and just charged me $17.00. When the saw was running bar chain oil poured out of the bottom. If they had really looked at it they would not have simply said husqvarna saws are leaky. I will not do business here again.

Just had my lawnmower serviced by this location. Been dealing with them for years and was happy until now. Came to pick up and mowing deck would not engage, took it off and left it , then came back and picked up and they had slammed the hood over hood latch and would not open, left it again. Lastly picked it up and got it home and the rear end was ruined. No way they didnt know it was messed up when I picked it up. Would not answer my phone call & offered nothing to help, or make things right when I went back in person. Getting ready to buy a new zero turn for new home, but not from these guys. Very disappointed in service.
Service is slow really slow
Took my weed eater to have a new starter assembly installed. The owner and I had a misunderstanding on what needed to be corrected. We were able to sort it all out and he actually repaired my weed eater for free which was a huge surprise. I have used him a few times in the past but never had customer service like this before. I am now a customer for life and would highly recommend Keith and his staff for all you power equipment repairs and needs. Thank you again for an awesome experience!!!
