Harry Blessing from branch 5033 York does a fabulous job every time he services my lawn. The branch lets me know at least a day ahead of time when they will be there, and Harry lets me know when he arrives and when he is finished.

They were out in July 1st and already there are sprouts of new grass! I am paying for this service for my daughter and son-in-law and they are ecstatic that they are seeing new grass this soon!! Thank you!!!!

Scam company. Never start service or you will forever be fighting them to cancel. Still show up randomly, provide a svc, charge my ccard, and then say they cant refund.

With such a bad weather (dry) this summer, our lawn looks best ever. Have an invasive vine on the bank out front which has for years moving up into the lawn, this now dying off. Very happy to see this!

The greatest decision I made after I tried several times was to invite TruGreen to take control of my lawn care. When I was unsatisfied, they even came out within a few days to even do a greater job.

Dont do it! Always a different person showing up that doesnt know your lawn. Just ride around and leave. Last person who did my lawn could barely take the time to speak to me about what he was actually doing. Ended up having grubs and didnt bother to mention it.

Very disappointed in a missed service fom last year. I always felt the last service of the year to feed your lawn before winter is important. Today was the first time since August of 2023 that anyone has been here. I am a customer for the past 4 years and am beginning to rethink getting any future service from this company .

Poor quality & customer service is awful. TruGreen damaged our yard with fertilizer. Trying to get ahold of anyone local to speak to is almost impossible. And when you do, maybe they will respond or not respond at all. After 2 weeks of no response, cancelled our contract and notified the local branch. They could careless, in fact I got a thumbs up. They will take your money and leave you with a mess to clean up.

The price was reasonable for the size of my lawn.

They barely sprayed half of my yard. I was billed with how much product they used before he even started. It said 14 gallons but he barely walked around for 2 minutes. Poor excuse for a company

Great service, notifies you when their coming and completes their job in a timely fashion. Occasionally I have issues with the billing department but no knock on the service reps.

Customer Service is very responsive to your concerns. Techs are super helpful and knowledgeable, as well. They give honest suggestions and advice. And come back and do the service again if it wasnt done completely or to your standard. Highly recommend their pest management tools, not just grass maintenance. My house has been 95% pest free for the 3 years I have used them!!

Ive been a customer with True Green for 10 yrs. But the last driver they sent out was rude and unproffesonal. Im no longer a customer and would recommend looking elsewhere for a lawn service. The customer has no input. And they value their workers opinion more.

Nothing but a great experience with TruGreen.

They made my lawn green and mostly weed free but anyone can do that with fertilizer and weed killer. They sent out an inexperienced person that sprayed weed killer on a tree and several shrubs. The customer service, management, and field techs do not communicate at all. You can never talk to anyone local. After months of trying they refused to take responsibility for the damage that they did. Never again. And now a month later, after canceling the service and leaving this initial review, I have been called by 6 different people wanting to work with me. No one has time to listen to you when you are a customer, but they have plenty of time to harass you after you cancel.

I agree with the other negative reviews for TruGreen. I wish I could give them a negative star. This company DOES NOT listen to their customers. I asked for my lawn to be aerated and seeded a month ago. The tech came out first thing in the morning after we had a heavy rain overnight. The machine dug up yard with little holes (looked like little piles of dog poop left on top). And then they put down seed. He said I should see grass growing in a couple of weeks and lumps of dirt will go away. Well it hasnt. I called customer service today and spoke to a VERY RUDE young girl and she said it was my fault. I asked for someone to come out and look at it and she said NO. They dont come back out to fix something. I just wanted someone from the company to see the mess they made. I cancelled my account with them and WILL NEVER refer this company to anyone. Beware of TruGreen in Pennsylvania!!!!!!

My lawn is better, but the bottom of my yard never received any treatments and after 2 seasons still have clover and other weeds on it.

I called TruGreen to get a quote for my lawn service. The sale person name Dave was so friendly (at the beginning) trying to sale his products and it drags on for so long. I told him I dont have time and need to get a quote then he pressure me get 6 service per year instead of what I requested 4 services. I felt his voice got upset at that point he told me if I want 4 services then he needs my credit card to paid off the whole cost (for 4 services); unless I choose 6 services then I can make payment each time they come out for the service. He finally gave me the price for the 4 services and it was like $99 each time and for 6 services will be around $70 each time. I got TruGreen lawn service before but I am not coming back anytime soon. Dave was so nasty and unprofessional. I wish TruGreen train their employee to be nice to people because customers are the one to pay them!

I used them for the 2021 season with no issues and our yard showed improvement. Upon signing up for the 2022 season, I worked with the sales person and completed the contract. We were scheduled 9 different times over the last six weeks. No one has ever showed up. I have called into the local branch which just routes to the call center and am told a manager will call me. They have called and left 1 message and there is no way to call them back. A person from the branch in York called me and reached me at work trying to tell me he thought there was an issue with my contract - again I can t reach him either because it routes to the call center. I am tired of hearing no one has a supervisor and they will call me back. HORRIBLE service and the weeds are growing.

Terrible service. Came to house and my cameras around my home showed the man not spraying the entire yard. They are scam artist trying to get your money. I still had weeds in my yard!!

TruGreen has been absolutely non responsive from the beginning after they received my money. The lawn people claimed they treated my whole yard. When I clearly indicated they had not as I watched them on my cameras for the whole yard (it took them 1 minute and 38 seconds), their story suddenly changed. They did send another guy out the next day to do what I paid for. During subsequent treatments, they sprayed brand new grass, killing it. During an aeration and reseeding date, I asked for them not to come out to do this process due to the grass needing thatched. Well, they came out anyway, the day before a huge rain storm. The seed that was on top of the compacted straw simply washed away. Most recently, I came home to find a guy driving through newly planted and seeded grass spraying who knows what. When asked what he sprayed, he refused to tell me (truck driver was in truck BU5902). I asked for the print out of the work completed to which he refused. All other workers provided a detailed description of the work completed on a door hanger, but not this guy. When asked if he sprayed in the new grass, he said he didn t which was a blatant lie, as there were ruts in the new soil/grass AND my cameras caught everything. Furthermore, fertilizer was sprayed all over my patio pavers, sidewalk, and driveway and wasn t blown off. For anyone who knows, this will destroy them, as they did this in the spring causing my sidewalk to have damage. Needless to say, I am NOT pleased with Tru Green and would not recommend them. Two neighbors in my same development have reported similar issues, which tells me this is a systemic issue. I am very disappointed, as I thought Tru Green was a higher quality provider than what they ve shown.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I used this service and from the very beginning the service was horrible! They claimed that they were at my residents 3 times. Actually, they only came twice and that was questionable at best! They went to the wrong address and seeded their lawn for free. I paid for this service and each time I get a different excuse! I have been in contact with them each time after their service and they have not done anything to rectify this situation!! DONT DO IT!!

Lousy. Always have to retreat after they treat. Ill never go back. They keep promising they will do better. They quote you off your property but fail to discount when half your property is not grass. Carport,garden,shed etc.

This past year, they have missed 4 or 5 services because they cant locate my house. They did my lawn last year fine, but this year they constantly cancel and reschedule because they cant find it. Youd think if they cant find the house, theyd call to find out where its at, but no, they just skip it. And reschedule it only to skip it again. Will not renew my contract for next year.

Dissatisfied with this Company. I wanted to know what grass seed was used in the aeration and overseeding I had paid for. Two weeks has gone by and still no response from the local company. The call center is not local. One more reason to stay local. Grossmans All the way from hear on out. Note: would have-been less expensive as well.

Scheduled 5 times and still have not arrived. Impossible to talk to a local manager.
