The most experienced and professional lawn/tree care company in South Central Pennsylvania. All of the technicians are licensed and they continue their training/education on an annual basis.

They don't seem to have a problem drifting pesticides onto neighboring properties, and I question whether or not they have taken and understand the PA dept of agriculture pesticide applicator rules. I'm sorry you shouldn't be spraying bushes and trees along the property lines! I think they get away with it because they're in and out so quickly and nobody is the wiser, but dang, I would feel morally wrong to drift pesticides into neighboring food gardens and areas children play and not bother to give the neighbor a heads up.

The gentleman that came out was very friendly, but it seems even he wasn’t aware of the work we needed despite us clearly telling the person on the phone. I can’t speak to their landscaping abilities, but their abilities in irrigation/sprinkler systems seem to be limited to starting up and closing down systems. I wish they would have been truthful about their abilities BEFORE charging us several hundred dollars for a visit that didn’t solve our problem and now requires us to find someone else to undo the mess they made. Very disappointing.

After 20 years of a beautiful backyard of thick green "carpet" like Zoysia grass it developed some brown spots and was not "greening up". Field rep Phil, who assessed the problem, contacted the owner Tom immediately who had past experience in Virginia and the South with this type of grass. He came out personally to aerate and fertilize. We were extremely pleased by their Professionalism, experience and expertise.

Great company who has taken care of my yard for years and plan to continue again next year.

I started with this company last year because I expected them to have better customer service than the big boys. Last year went fine. This year they called me to see if I wanted to continue with the lawn treatments. I said yes and that I also wanted them to treat the weeds in my flower bed and quote a special project in my back yard. They emailed a contract to me. I returned it and again stated I wanted the weeding done and a special project quoted. I received a text from a rep to set up the first lawn treatment. I asked about the weeding and the quote I wanted. He said no one in the office knows about it, and he will have someone contact me. I did not hear from anyone so a week later I texted him for an update. Days later I received no response so I stated my concerns and asked him to have the contract canceled. He then immediately responds and says he doesn't care, I don't have a contract and good riddance. You can't get much more unprofessional than that.

Where do I start. Contacted Larry from this company about spraying for weeds around pool area. Larry estimated what would cost. Larry advised he would send proposal via US mail. I was to sign proposal and send back and they would come to my residence to spray. I NEVER got the proposal. After four phone calls to this company. They stated they have no record of me calling. Don't waste your time with this. It's not worth the aggravation. I contacted a more reputable. It seems I'm not the only person that's had this problem.

I would highly recommend Heritage Lawn for any of your landscaping/hardscaping needs. We have been working with Larry and Heritage for the past 10 years and they have never disappointed me. Has it been perfect? No! But, any issue that has arisen (and not many in 10 years) has been taken care of by the company in a fair manner. We have had landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, yearly lawn/bed/tree care, and many clean-ups. Last year, they came out for a lawn aeration which resulted in an accidental slicing of our inground pet fence - this was really our fault as we mismarked the line on that side of the yard, but Heritage had a pet fence company here within a day to fix it. Maybe their price is higher than others but with the price comes a high level of quality and commitment that others likely cannot meet over the long-term. We intend to continue our relationship with Heritage as long as we live here. Thanks for your quality service!
