This house is not my permanent residence and I arrived late last Thursday and notice that the back yard was turning yellow, so I called Greengate Turf on Friday to report the issue and by Tuesday morning they had a technician on the property. The technician called that morning to report the problem and he said it should clear up with in 2 weeks and since I will not be there in that time frame that he would come back in 2 weeks and check out my lawn and report back to me. Since I do not live here permanently they occasionally go by and inspect my lawn and report back to me. Greengate Turf goes the extra mile for me. What a great company. I highly recommend them for taking care of your lawn.

In southwest Houston/sugar land, the field manager is Lennon, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and timely. Too soon to report on results, will update the post in a few weeks. Update; have used the service for almost 2 years, impressive results. Lush green lawn, weed free, tolerates drought better than neighbors lawns. I called GreenGate several weeks ago after trying my best for a long time to get control of nutsedge, Virginia buttonweed, and other weeds. Then my turf starting dying and I found out from Lennon at GreenGate that I had sod webworms. So I contracted with them to start taking care of my lawn. And, within only a few weeks after Lennons first application, the yard looks so much better! Most of the weeds have disappeared, and the web worm problem is resolved. Big thumbs up to Lennon and GreenGate!

Very disappointed with this company. I called and asked for a quote for mulching and clean up of my front yard. They sent me a very misleading quote where they charge $69.00 per worker per hour which is already insane. Then, they added $296 for material, labor (again?), pick up and delivery for installation of 3 native brown mulch in beds and another $40.00 for native mulching (what is the actual material previously charged then?). Long story short, they credited my credit card without sending me any explanation of how many hours they were there for and how much product was used. I called twice and they agreed to charge me for only one native mulch, but I did have to pay for everything else. So my total bill will now be $700+ for a small front yard. Will never use them again and do not recommend unless you like having a bad surprise at your account.

Started off as a great service. My service has been delayed since the week of July 15. Received emails about being promised to be rescheduled for the following day/days. That was almost 20 days ago. Calling their number and using their current client option on their phone lines always seems to ring and no one answers and it goes to voicemail. The only way I was able to get a hold of someone was by calling the new quote line to which they transferred me to someone. The first person I spoke with acknowledge that my rescheduled mow should have been completed, and I was overlooked. She explained to me that she would try and attempt to get someone out Between Tuesday and Thursday (which was my normally my scheduled mow day). She said if they were not able to get me Tuesday and Wednesday, they would definitely get me on Thursday. They were not able to service me on Thursday and my mow was finally completed the next day.Yes, I understand Rain cost some delays, but almost a month? it didn t even rain every day since the last mow. Having one less customer should allow y all to catch up.

So far so good Oscar did a good job This is there second visit weeds are slowly dying off. Will update in 6 months

Love Greengate! I use them for regular lawn care and maintenance. My front flower bed and trees needed some serious help. Omar came to see me, listened to what I wanted and even suggested some things I did not even think about. I ve been with this company for years and somehow they haven t been able to mow my grass since June 28. It s July 14. There s no excuse. You should pay overtime to get this done even if it s on a weekend. You have many unhappy customers in Sterling Ridge.

Omar has been very helpful in the process of adding new sod and landscaping to my backyard. I have used Greengate for about 4 years for fertilizing and weed control and their products work great! I like the fact that their fertilizer has bionutrients vs mostly chemical based. Their weed control program actually does control weeds. You may get a few weeds at certain times of the year but its easy to just pull them. They have done projects like raising and leveling my yard, installing walking paths, replacing 24 sprinkler heads after the original irrigation company installed heads that were only 4 tall against my advice and the grass was taller than the heads by summer! Our grass grows thick and fast so Team GG, at Omars suggestion, replaced those heads with 6 heads and its been so much better! They will soon be out to refresh all beds with native composted mulch. I just also signed up for their yard maintenance mowing program. If you do have questions or concerns they do address them. Now, if I could keep the moles from messing up my grass in a few areas that would be great....but thats an issue that we have to deal with not GG.

Greengate Turf is absolutely the best thing since sliced bread. Keith and his crew are professional in every aspect. They are reliable and Keith especially communicates what my lawn needs and his pricing is fair. Previously I had trouble with no shows and billing but with Keith those troubles are behind me. I especially appreciate his billing software. Once a week I go online, access my private AND secure account, review my invoice and pay. It is so easy and convenient. If you are dissatisfied with your current lawncare service I strongly encourage you to utilize Greengate Turf, you wont be disappointed.

GreenGate is a very reliable, responsive outfit. I always get a reply to a request or question about my lawn care in a timely manner, in a very helpful and friendly tone. Weve been using them for several years now, and I have zero complaints. I suppose one could find a service that costs a little less, but I wouldnt trade all of the benefits of working with such a professional company. Highly recommend!

Ive decided to cancel my service from green gate Ive spent over a thousands dollars on their service. I took a good look at my front yard and I dont see that it looks like a thousand dollar yard. Weeds came up I sent pictures of the Weeds and their response was Id have to dig them up and sent a estimate of $65 dollars an hour to come take care of them. This was not acceptable to me. After canceling the service I would have thought someone would have gotten in touch with me to come out and see what was going on. Unfortunately that was not the case. I am guessing they really dont care too much about their customers

Lennon revived my yard! When he started treating my lawn in early spring it was mostly weeds. Now, in early summer we have mostly lush St Augustine. He does thorough work, and has coached me how to care for my lawn.

They were extremely responsive as new weed types emerged and added soil conditioning services to support improvement I actively worked with the team, raking out damaged grass and reseeding. I was having such trouble with my lawn that I was considering artificial turf. I had weeds, bare spots, and crabgrass. I figured for $12,000 I could afford a lot of lawn service. Super professional and my lawn looks amazing. An occasional weed and no bare spots. Highly recommend.

I am very pleased with my lawn service by Zach & GreenGate Turf. I am a new customer & had many questions about services & processes. Its easy to talk to someone in the office and they are all very professional & helpful. Zach has been patient with me during my many questions and I trust him to care for my lawn. I have been stressed over my lawn especially during the extreme weather this summer. It is very nice to know I dont have to worry about it; they will keep my lawn healthy. GreenGate sent Omar Sanchez who gave me a detailed quote with items listed separately so I could choose exactly what I needed. There was no pressure to purchase additional services. Omar came each day to check on the progress and make sure I was satisfied. The two landscapers worked incredibly hard. They left things clean and tidy. They showed great attention to detail. My yard was transformed from an ugly jungle to the garden of my dreams.

I ve been getting my grass cut for a couple years now by this company and the service has been great. I need some resodding done in my lawn due to a chinch bug surge in the area. Omar came out within the provided time window and was on point and quick with the recommendations of what needed to be done. Very professional and not overwhelming.

During my discussion with Omar, he was very knowledgeable about the plants already in my flower beds and made suggestions of others that would compliment them.

The representative that came to my residence was courteous and somewhat knowledgeable. I wanted to schedule my first service and was told by the staff to go to the link on website to proceed. While visiting website I did not see anything to start/pay for first service. I suppose I am computer illiterate and will have to fertilize lawn myself. Custome service is lacking.

I have used Green Gate as needed for yard maintenance and service and have always found them top notch. A few months ago I started with their mosquito control program and have been very satisfied with the results. Mosquitoes are way down and we really don t have the issues with them as before. Our tech Lennon is super friendly and knowledgeable. He is great about updating and explaining everything that has been done as part of his service. Highly recommend Green Gate

Weve used GreenGate at several homes and have been delighted with their breath of services, responsiveness of their customer service team, and having a customer portal to manage our services and invoices. Theyve made it incredible easy to recommend them to friends and family...a 5 star review doesnt fully represent their quality.

As a small business looking for someone to help with a bit of landscaping can be problematic. Are they worth the money, do they work safely, etc.. In working with Greengate Turf & Pest, they were polite and helpful from the start. It is nice to speak with a person. Oh, and their computer messaging is brilliant... But back to the work. The crew was on time and got right to work. They all wore their proper PPE, which is very important for us as a business. The workers were also very cordial and polite. I was highly impressed not only with how they worked (safely), but how they worked (diligently) until the work was finished. I will say I would and will likely hire them again in the future. What a pleasure to find a company with great employees, that do what they say, when they say, how they say. My sincere compliments and thanks. Yall made me look good. Steven

Lennon provided excellent service for my yard.

I called last week for my lawn and they set an appointment for the following Monday from someone to meet me at my house. Monday morning I get a call from them informing me that the person theyd scheduled for me is out sick so theyll have to reschedule me for the next day with ANOTHER field-operator/person - Id already planned to take off from work early because of them but its fine because things happen. They rescheduled me for next day and Id to plan to get off work early again. Next day they sent me a text saying theyll have to reschedule me AGAIN. I called them to ask whats going on, the very tiresome girl on the phone said the guy that was supposed to come to me is still out sick. This was off-putting because the day before theyd literally told me they were going to send ANOTHER field manager. When I explained it her, she had no words to help the situation. I was upset and told her to cancel and I wasnt interested in their service for wasting my time. I get a call from them again within a few minutes and a person identified herself as Abby. She claimed she oversees the scheduling. I explained everything to her and she was more helpful than the girl before and assured me they were going to send someone out today at the same scheduled time. The entire day passed... no one showed up or reached out to me. 1 star for incompetence and wasting my time.

So far it has been a pleasure to work with GreenGate. Ive had two different gentlemen treat my lawn and they both have been very informative and have given realistic expectations for my yard.

Used this service for a large lawn that had become weed overrun. Very responsive, theyve been out twice now, weed control, fertilized, aerated, etc. Beginning to see improvement, will report back in a few weeks. The technician Lennon services our area, you wont find a nicer, harder working tech anywhere. Update: Greengate has now competed 7 cycles of fertilizing and weed control, our lawn is thick and beautiful. There are a few spots that are taking some time to recover, but the body of the lawn is gorgeous. Just a comment. One of the techs accidently over-sprayed the treatment chemicals onto the house siding, staining our light-colored Hardee Plank siding. I wrote Green Gate and sent pictures about this, they immediately took responsibility and sent a craftsman out to repaint the stained areas. He did an excellent job. Impressive response. I know this is what you should expect from a company, but it is so often not what you get. Great response, quality work, quality company.

The crew from Green Gate (Jesus, Jose, and Miguiel) did an excellent job removing all weeds and pruning shrubs in our front and back flowerbeds, as well as mulching. Also, we had specific requests for our yard that Omar (the ops manager) made sure were accommodated. Definitely Reccomended!

Lennon has been to my place twice to take care of pest control with Greengate. He has always been courteous and efficient. The company product is outstanding as well at my old house we could not get rid of our roach problem with another company. Once Greengate came out they were gone no roach issues. Highly recommend Lennon and this company.

Every step of the way so far has been excellent - friendly, professional and helpful information, timely and curtious service - from my first phone call for information with Jennifer to my service today with Lennon. I cant say much about my yard right now, its in bad shape, but Im very optimistic about the future health and beauty of my lawn with this company.
