Blaze and his team are top notch landscapers who I trusted to do a very big project for me. They managed tree removal, concrete, planning/design, bed prep, a new gate, drainage, and plant selection. In each phase, Blaze answered questions and brainstormed alternatives. I was impressed how he selected the plants and designed the beds (there wasn’t a drawn design- we discussed plants and he took it from there). I gave him a budget and he worked within that frame. His crew is hard working, friendly, and respectful. I love the grass they selected and how they addressed a long time drainage problem. The new gate is one of my favorites! Can’t say enough good things about this company!
I found Purposed Landscaping because my neighbor’s yard looked great and I needed help with my front yard. He spoke highly about Blaze and his crew. Our first meeting went well with Blaze getting an idea of what I wanted. Blaze has great design ideas and knows his plants! His crew led by JR did a great job executing the plan. The crew was professional,respectful, and didn’t stop until the yard looked amazing. Start to finish was very smooth! I highly recommend Purposed Landscaping. A great company with great employees. Blaze and his team are true professionals and artists. Communication is key in projects like this, and both Blaze and Project Mgr JR were incredible in this regard. We had our entire front yard redone by PL. From the beginning, the project was consultative, which is exactly what I was looking for. I received advice on plant selection, light placement, and best practices that I otherwise wouldn't have known. I can't recommend them enough. The neighbors have been stopping by daily to comment on the work they did. I have other projects on the horizon at our house, and Purposed Landscaping has earned my loyalty for all of them. Purposed Landscaping transformed our backyard, cut some trees, removed old deck and built a new one, new grass and all the necessary stuff. They were trustworthy and did a very good job with a reasonable price. We really appreciated their work.
We were extremely pleased with our experience with Purposed Landscaping!! We recently had an extended patio done which caused the water in our backyard to gather in even larger puddles than before whenever it would rain. We needed something to be done about the water puddles fast and Blaze and his team responded quickly to resolve our issue. Blaze took the time to listen to our vision for the landscaping and helped us come up with an aesthetic and functional plan that met our budget. We liked how he came up with design ideas and options of plants and trees to help us not feel so overwhelmed with trying to pick everything out on our own. He communicated in a timely manner throughout the whole process and was a delight to work with! His team of guys were very friendly and took the time to make sure every detail was done with excellence! Absolutely the best work ever. We needed our beloved home to get some much needed work at the entrance. Blaze and his team transformed the place in just a matter of days for a very reasonable price. I gave super vague instructions like “please make it awesome” and they did just that. The team was so courteous and blindingly efficient and everything they touched was made much more beautiful. I absolutely highly recommend them!
I hired Purposed Landscaping to tear down a small tree in my front flower bed, pull out all plants in my flower bed, re-mulch and plant new plants in my flower bed, install an irrigation system, and create a black star rock bed in my back yard. Blaze had a wealth of knowledge for which plants would thrive in my area and fit the design ideas that I envisioned. He took the time to talk through exactly what I wanted, where I wanted it and what plants would work best for the price and look I wanted. Blaze has a keen eye for landscape design and brought my vision to life. He and his crew were on time and worked hard to complete my project as quickly as possible. Blaze's prices were affordable and worth every penny! His landscape work has improved the value of our home. Would recommend! Blaze and team did a great job with our backyard. The process was well organized, including computer visualization and consultation meetings along the way. Project execution was efficient and professional despite adjustments due to damage to nursery materials from Beryl. Pricing was comparable to other offers we received. I definitely recommend Purposed Landscaping for any landscaping work you need done.
We are very pleased with our experience with Purposed Landscaping. We have had backyard drainage issues which we have already paid other people to fix twice, so we were very concerned about getting it right this time. Because of that, we were probably very annoying about asking questions, giving opinions, changing things, and even asking Blaze to brainstorm with my civil engineer brother and take his thoughts into consideration. Despite all of that, Blaze was incredibly patient and kind. The team did a great job, and we are very happy with it.

Blaze and his team did an exceptional job on our new fence. They were knowledgeable and communicative during the whole experience. They did such a good job that the neighbors are now having them redo their fence.
Purposed Landscaping has a new fanboy. We had a great experience with them from start to finish. We came into the project with some ideas, but we also didnt really know what were doing. Blaze took our style into account, listened to our concerns, and brought loads of ideas to the table for a truly collaborative process. When the crew arrived to do the actual work, I was struck by a few things: 1. They were all very kind. 2. The lead crew member, JR, introduced himself and we chatted a little about the work ahead. 3. They were fast! Everything was completed in one day. 4. They didnt leave behind garbage or messes of any sort. I highly recommend Purposed Landscaping. Well be working with them again for some projects in our back yard.

Blaise worked closely with us to understand our needs. He then redesigned our beds, making them smaller. He also made changes, that lower maintenance and overall costs to maintain our beds. He also installed state of the art landscape lighting and removed and added trees based on our desired changes. Blaise was dedicated to our project and was here every day with his team until all aspects of the project were completed. The project was also completed in a relatively short time. Great experience, overall!
My husband and I are so happy to have found Purposed Landscaping. We were very particular in what we wanted and Blaze was nothing but polite and professional throughout the entire project. We added a large concrete patio, covered pergola, sod, and he was even able to repurpose all the stone we already had when doing the landcaping. He transformed our mud pit into a beautiful backyard we are proud of and can enjoy and we couldnt be happier!

Purposed Landscaping did an excellent job completing the following work- installing walkway tiles, redoing landscaping rocks around walkways/flower beds, repairing a broken irrigation pipe, and installing new grass. Blaze works with you, listens intently to your vision/wants, and also provides relevant suggestions for your consideration. The work was performed expertly, particularly the walkway tile installation. I highly recommend them!

We recently purchased a townhome and had a fairly small project in comparison to most in The Woodlands I imagine. This didn t stop Blaze from taking it on, and making the small space amazing, and so much more open and useful. He helped us come up with a plan to channel rain water from gutters away from our patio, and implement a design to maximize the small space. His crew was AMAZING. Efficient, friendly, answered questions as they arose, and worked so so hard despite the non stop onslaught of mosquitos! Blaze has assured us he will tweak anything as needed once it rains again which is a great reassurance. He was willing to work within our budget (which wasn t huge thanks to an 80 s delux kitchen needing addressing), and installed and completed it in a timely manner! He s awesome! Highly recommend. I think the before and after shots are self explanatory ;) He left the beds and a few pots empty so I can get my hands in the dirt next week. Thanks for being so accommodating and having a good sense of humor during this, Blaze! -DH

Our yard was a mess. Purposed landscaping came in and completely transformed the space for us. They made it look so much better but lower Maintenance. They were professional but still personal and they got the job done quick. We loved them so much that we have booked them to come back to do some more work for us. I highly recommend you give them a call for your next yard project.
OWNER GHOSTED ME.... ONLY WANTS TO WORK FOR HIGH PAYING CUSTOMERS I came across Purposed Landscaping from a recommendation by someone who used this company. I reached out to Blaze-the owner by phone. I spoke with him and asked if he would be able to do my landscaping. I told him my budget UPFRONT, of $450 dollars. I explained I could go up on the price a bit if needed ($550-650 ish). I asked him then on the phone if that price was doable, he stated he was. If it wasnt he could have simply been honest and said I charge x amount... which then I politely would have said, Oh okay, thanks but thats out of my budget. Yet instead, Blaze asked how many plants I wanted, asked me to send him pictures of my flower bed and stated he would draw up a design and email me the next day. I sent him all the information he requested, including my email address and phone number. I let him know that I only had one flowerbed that I wanted done, and that landscaping fabric was already down, so that one less thing he had to do. I waited and never heard back from him. I sent him another a second text a week later asking if he was still planning on doing my landscaping. Crickets. I never received a reply from him, but instead was just completely and unprofessionally ignored. I completely understand that Mr. Blaze had no obligation to do business with me. Thats fine. But dont tell me that you can work with my budget and that you will do my landscaping and then just ghost me. If you only want to work with commercial accounts or residential homes whose budget was more than mine, then thats understandable, but just be upfront and honest about it. I knew he was in The Woodlands and I was in Cypress so instead of having him waste the gas to come out and give me an estimate, I sent him pictures and was upfront with my budget, which he said was doable. Personally, I think $450-650 is a considerable amount to spend on landscaping, especially ONE flower bed! If he is more geared to higher end clientele, then say that! In the end, I was able to get my flower bed replanted with a couple bushes, ornamental grass and flowers, along with new mulch within my budget with a different landscaper. Just quite a bit irked that I was not treated courteously, or that Mr. Blaze wasnt professional enough to be upfront with me and just let me know that he could no longer provide service to me instead of wasting my time.
Blaze and his team did an amazing job removing dead palm trees, replacing with new ones, planting and designing a whole new look for the backyard and around the pool. It s gorgeous. Blaze is quick to respond, professional, communicates well, and we will be using him in the near future for the front yard. Highly recommend!

The owner, Blaze, communicated with me throughout the entire project and was receptive to my suggestions. The work was professional, timely and organized. I am so relieved that I dont have to worry anymore about standing water ruining my lawn, water rising so quickly it doesnt drain fast enough, and finding a trustworthy and reliable landscaper. Blaze was awesome to work with. He was kind and patient from beginning to end and his customer service skills far exceeded our expectations. During the planning stages, he airily mapped out our yard using his drone. He was very attentive to details and our preferences. He showed us many options and offered his personal preferences when asked. He presented us with a very detailed landscape plan to present to our HOA and made adjustments timely and as needed. He kept us constantly updated by texts and phone calls and showed up on time for all our appointments. Blaze s product knowledge and passion for landscaping is one of a kind. I will definitely continue to use Purposed Landscaping for maintaining our newly beautified yard and recommend them to everyone I know.
