Yanez Tree and Lawn Services did an outstanding job clearing and trimming all of the trees in my entire property as well as trimming all of my shrubs to perfection and adding just the right amount of mulch. If you are in need of tree and/or lawn services, I highly recommend them.
If I could give six stars I would. Because of some hard to describe circumstances I had to cancel on short notice and then rehire Lazaro and his crew a week later. After I canceled he could have easily refused to work with me. That would have been reasonable in my opinion. I'm so glad he didn't because he does great work as promised for a fair price. I would hire yanez tree services again in a heartbeat. The work they did was exactly what I wanted exactly for the price promised. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Yanez Tree and Lawn Service did an exceptional job trimming my trees and taking down one that was dying from the top. When they were almost finished, the crew chief came to the door and asked that I look at their work and make sure I was satisfied with everything. They cleaned up all tree debris and you couldn't even tell they had been there. Great small business! Sharon Murphy
Lozano and his team did a fantastic job of removing a massive tree that fell on and crushed my parents home in Temple, Texas during the destructive storms that passed through causing so much damage. They showed up right away and got to work removing it from on top of the roof and were kind enough to re-tarp the poor tarping job by the roofers for them to keep the rain out. All of them were extremely nice, courteous and professional and were even kind enough to preserve a sentimental memory we had by cutting a table out of the tree from which my grandfather would wake my grandmother every morning with a magnolia flower he had cut freshly from the magnolia tree which was damaged by the falling oak and also sadly needed to be removed. We would give them the highest recommendation if you need any tree services. They have all the professional equipment to do the job and do it very well, taking the time to smooth the ground from the trunk removal, clean up and haul off all the debris and pick up any job trash and everything immediately, leaving your property clean.
This company has provided excellent tree services for our property over many years. Today they removed a broken tree limb and serviced additional trees. Their polite team communicated promptly, worked efficiently, and cleaned thoroughly. We greatly appreciate the dependable professionalism of Yanez Tree Services.
The initial introduction was pleasant and got me really excited about having a landscaping company that I can count on to do quality work and make me feel taken care of. I wanted tons of things done. I was visited by Lazaro Yanez himself who claimed to later send me pictures of past work and suggestions to beautify my property, along with a quote on price...I never received a thing. Over the next 10 days I messaged multiple times and was ignored over and over. Finally someone did show up to mow, did a piss poor job and then just bolted without a word. I sent a message asking for an address to send the payment and that I'm still waiting for the quote and pictures. He finally responded saying, "oh, sorry, I thought I sent that to you already", at rhis point, CLEARLY he knows that he hadn't, but yet STILL SENT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I told him look bud, if you have too much work, I can just move on to someone else, no hard feelings.. Ignored again. I do not appreciate constantly being ignored, I do not appreciate when you say that you are going to do something and not only do you not do it, but you don't even communicate with me why you didn't or what the plan will be going forward. Obviously there are customers of his that have no problem with bad communication and lousy integrity, but im not one of them, and now I never will be.
Initally very prompt but, then all it has been is promises. Tells you we will be there to finish the job and never shows or very poor communications. Feel like just keep being lied to, not a good practice for a local business. Not a way to do business.
They removed a dead oak tree and tree stump grinding. Cleaned up the area and hauled away all the debris. And they only charged me half of what another tree removal service quoted me. I couldnt be happier.
Great service!! Very professional and respectful. On time, answered all phone calls and hard working . They were a blast to watch as they trimmed large trees off our property. Cleaned up beautifully after trimming and stump removal. We will definitely use them again !!
Yanez tree service helped us with several large trees that had been damaged in the winter freeze and in spring rain storms. They were very responsive when I needed a quote quickly, knowledgeable about the execution of the needs of the trees and were able to provide service the next day. The level of care and expert handling of our property and trees was impressive. After seeing them prune our large oaks, we definitely consider their line of work an art form. It s important who you select to do this type of work - and they are an excellent choice! Our trees haven t looked this good in many, many years. We will be using them again. Thank you.

They came to trim my 19 trees and balance them following a season of storms. They were on time, professional, and knowledgeable. They cleaned up everything and were conscientious about making sure everything was clean and put together. Communicated clearly and directly. They also took care of another property and did so beautifully. I will use them again and highly recommend them for others.
Sounded professional over the phone. Asked for quote for bi weekly service twice for yard work at 2 homes & a tree trim. They never came by or followed up with me.

We have had more than our share of awful experiences with contractors and businesses in the area while trying to upgrade and maintain our home and yard. We just had Yanez Tree & Lawn out here this morning to trim a tree and grind some stumps and I have nothing bad to say about the level of service and quality worksmanship they provided. We will definitely be using them in the future and would recommend to anyone.
Was told he.would be here around 10am he finally showed up about 4pm looked at the job told me he would text me a price within 2 hours, never got a quote or heard from him again WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Negative
They did tree trimming and did a great job. Hired them to do the lawn and garden on a permanent basis. Very pleased. Good people!
Timely and very affordable. Provided liability and workers comp info without hesitation. I would gladly use their services again. Was very flexible about start date completing the job the same week as the estimate.

Noticed one my trees was suddenly showing signs of being ready to fall on the house. Got a fair price and quick removal of a dead tree. Was so happy with their service i again hired them to remove another unhealthy tree.

This is a warning! We called this business several times they made appointments and never showed up. I went with Another company and got the best tree service in Central Texas. I will never call Yanez ever again. Buy cheap get cheap! You get what you pay for. Went to home advisor and hired a real professional All Around Tree Care. They are the best look them up!

I am writing this to warn others of this company. I hired them to provide full lawn care and since then it has been a nightmare. The first time they came to the house they damaged or killed many of the plants around my home. When using a weeder an employee completely striped around the base of a very expensive shrub ($30) killing it. Additionally when weeding they damaged the bases of several trees and destroyed several plants. They cut a 2 year old Sweet Autumn Clematis vine off of my fence (why on earth would they do this?) and they killed several grape vines. They agreed to replace the damage, but whenever they returned to mow the lawn or I contacted them about it I was told excuses. After getting the feeling I was getting the run around I asked that they at least replace the expensive shrub and again I was lied to and then later given excuses. It has been over a month and not only did they never replace the damage but I have to call them to remind them to even mow the lawn. I have stopped reminding them as I no longer want their service and I have had to contact the BBB to resolve the damage done to my property. Save your yard, save your time in dealing with issues like this, and find lawn care services elsewhere. These people do not know what they are doing nor do they know how to run a business.
I I own several business in Killeen and Baton Rouge. When a tree fell onto my smoke shop, it needed to be cleared up right away in order to not lose any business. Yanez and his team were here within two hours of contacting them. They removed the tree and cleaned up like the incident had never happened. I would recommend these guys any day of the week.
Joe recommended that I try the services of Yanez Tree Services. I am certainly glad I did. I received three quotes and Yanez was the cheapest and they cleaned up the best. Good job Yanez!!
