PV did our front yard spring of 23, and our backyard spring of 24. New plants, new surface treatment of pool kool deck, and artificial turf. All looks fabulous, excellent communication and follow through and our designer Peggy was always available to help us through the process.

Mandie was an absolute pleasure to work with! From creating an innovative design and updating me throughout the entire process! The landscaper was super nice and turned the vision into a reality! I now have a wonderful desert oasis to relax in and enjoy for all of the years to come! There original work was great. But there customer service has alot to be desired.

Went to their location and talked with two people about landscaping my backyard. Was told theyd call me in a few days with a quote. Weeks went by, so I called. They said theyd call me back that same day. Its been a couple more weeks with no response. If youre too busy or you dont want my business just say so, but dont waste my time like that.

Gretchen, with poco Verde Landscaping is amazing. She has such vision and understanding of everything that needs to be done to make a beautiful oasis for your home. Very attentive and worked with us as our visions changed. They were very flexible and I would highly recommend them!

Poco Verde did my landscaping and it turned out great. I only knocked it down one star because the supplier they used for stone delivery was weeks behind and delayed things a bit. Overall the design turned out well for both the front and back yard and all the plants look great on the new drip system they installed. They did stop by and check on the status during the project too. I changed my review and put it back up to 5 stars because I had a few minor issues and they resolved them quickly.

The team of Poco Verde worked with us during a very difficult time. Pandemic and a different pool builder. Two year process to finish the landscaping is not the fault of Poco but with our pool builder (Prez Pools). After finally getting a completed pool, Poco s team was rock solid in delivering an exceptional product. We would recommend Poco for the next project.

If you want a flat yard with a few plants and rock, then by all means use them. However, if you are looking for different elevation, texture and color, think again. The designer had 20 years of experience and did not think it necessary to go to the office to talk about the design. It was all done via email. I should have listened to my gut, but I trusted that she would not give us a design where water did not flow properly and plants too close to the sidewalk and holes in the rock. We have water that runs down hill into the neighbors yard in one place and another where the water runs out on the sidewalk. Two of the plants died and we are still waiting for them to replace then, fill in the holes in the rock. Plus I had to finish the river run myself. They left material on the HOA property that I have moved the majority of using it to fill the holes in the river run. In order for us to pas inspection the yard has to look exactly like the original design. Once we pass inspection no telling how much we are going to have to spend to correct the poor design.

This is a poor quality company they don t even have an idea how to do landscaping don t ever recommend it. It is the worst and they poor customer service

We had a new home built and this company was to do the landscaping. We have had 2 plants die and this company never responded to having them replaced. They did not treat the ground prior to dropping the rock. We are the only house out of 300 that has to deal with massive amounts of weeds in the yard ALL the time. When I asked the GC, they laughed and said nothing could be done. I will never ask this company to do landscaping and/or pool work in our backyard. The front yard is indicative of the lack of care and concern the company had to making the front yard as nice as possible especially compared to all other houses in this new neighborhood. I can tell, as a gardener myself, they cut corners and never had any intention of fixing the items.

The Poco Verde team went above and beyond in our backyard pool and landscaping. I cant thank them enough for the job they did. Ronnie, Mandie, Ben, Aaron, and the entire crew was first class. Ronnie is a great communicator which means a lot when youre spending the money necessary to put in your dream yard. Highly recommend Poco Verde for all things pool and/or landscaping!

We hired Poco to build our pool and update our landscaping and we have been incredibly impressed with how everything turned out. Everyone that has come through our home has been extremely courteous, thorough and most importantly clean. Their level of professionalism from the top down has been a welcome sight and we have been very grateful about their honesty throughout the entire build process. Additionally, the quality of their work tells me that they care about the outcome of my project rather than being just a job. I would and have recommended them to all my friends and family. 100% would hire them again for future projects!

We want to thank Patrick, Tyson, Debbie, Dave and the landscaping crew for doing a great job scheduling and providing us with updates before and after each part of the pool and landscaping projects. Including taking additional time to explain the pool cleaning system, chemicals and providing advice on how and when to run the system. All of the workers involved from the digging of the pool to the completed project were skilled in their trade, very friendly and provided us detailed information as things were being done. They did a fantastic job on my backyard. I was able to tell them exactly what I was picturing in my head, and they were able to make my vision a reality. Having them install a built in grill is next on my list.

Wish I could give zero star. We chose Poco because we think they are trustworthy since they partner with our builder. But it turns out to be a complete disaster. We told them our house would be closing soon and hoped they can start the job as soon as the house closed. They asked us to paid 50% down so they would go ached and order the material. Our plan was to roll the landscaping cost into the house loan. but in order to start to job sooner we used our saving and paid them cash. Once our house closed, we tried to contact them multiple times but every time the front desk would transfer me to the construction team and nobody ever picked up or returned my voicemail. Somebody finally reached out when we escalate the matter to our builder. At that time I was told the paver we ordered was not available. I thought they asked me to pay the deposit so they can order the material? but after two months looks like nothing was been ordered. A few day after we selected the new paver, I receive a couple phone call from different people saying that pavers were pending shipping, shipped or pending? While they were trying to figure out where were the pavers, they were already delivered to my house. Before the job started we were told a job would take about one week to complete. However, this is the third week they re working on it. Today is supposed to be the turf installation. however no one has come. when I contacted the field manager I was then told that the wrong material was ordered and they have to come back next week. Also. the worker allowed other neighbors to walk in our backyard without our permission, not once but twice. he also spent long time chatting with other neighbors. So far my experience with poco is beyond terrible.

Although there were some set backs due to COVID, the staff at poco Verde from design through to billing were wonderful keeping me apprised of every step in the process. My backyard looks amazing and everyone tells me it is my own personal oasis. I dont know how to add pictures but I couldnt be happier with the final product. Thank you everyone at Poco Verde!

The best landscaping and pool company in the valley.

This company did an amazing job on my backyard landscaping including a beautiful pool surrounded with travertine and two separate areas of turf and of course plants. They use top grade materials. They not only met the timeline Gary, Tyson, and Ronnie all surpassed them. I have nothing but great things to say from start to finish. If you are thinking about a designer backyard this is the best company I would recommend. If I can figure out how to upload my pictures I definitely will. Thank you

Once our pool construction got to the point where landscaping could be started, things progressed fairly quickly! Crews did good work and explained things clearly. The design that Mandie did was absolutely wonderful. She took our plant options to heart and everything that was planted and installed was exactly like the 3D rendering she had sent us. Wasnt quite prepared for that level of detail!! Overall experience with Poco Verde has been very positive and I just referred them to our new neighbors.

Excellent experience from the beginning starting with Leon who designed our yard so well we were so impressed by the quality of plants and the work done. The work was great! The yard turned out juts fine. However the customer service was very lacking. My first rep quit and my account sat idle for weeks. The 2nd rep I delt with was very short and condescending on the calls. We were quoted one amount and then another. I will say again the work was good just not customer service.

DO NOT use poco verde!! First the contractor talked us out of a lot of features we wanted. Make sure you get a better warranty from them, our pool is 3 years old and there s a leak under the concrete but of course our warranty is expired. They are never helpful, once they get their money they could care less what issues you are having.

Excellent job, price point and customer service. I had been wanting to install artificial grass in my backyard but never imagined it would turned out so well. Highly recommended!

In this crazy time where contractor demand is so high and crews are hard to come by, Poco Verde has continued to communicate with me and make sure they get our pool done. They have been very professional and respond quickly to any questions I have, and have worked with me on some issues that I know other pool and landscape companies arent willing to work on. I would highly recommend them! Call and ask for Patrick or Tiffany!

3/26/21: We decided to use this company for our landscaping for the front and back yard since they did wonderful work with the hardscape prior to the new build being completed. Unfortunately, we found out quickly that they are not good at communicating with their customers and within their company. About two months ago I called and spoke with the front desk operator she asked for my info and that I would receive a call back with 48 hours from a sales associate. This did not happen, about two week later I called again and said I was going to use a different company since they seemed too busy. They took my info again and I received a call within an hour. The Sales person was extremely responsive and worked in a timely manner to get what I wanted drawn up to ensure I didn t leave after my quote. I then asked for some sort of time frame, which I could never get a straight answer. I should have seen the red flags! It has now been a month since we paid in full and all contracts have been signed and we are still having communication issues and broken promises of our yard being completed. Update: The installers Ayden and Juan have finished the yard and we are extremely happy with their work! Thelma the owners assistant has been wonderful to work with and made sure everything went smoothly. If you need things done make sure to ask for her.

We worked with Raheem to complete our backyard and he did a great job. He worked with us and our budget to give us the best backyard that we could have ever wanted. We are now working with him to complete our front yard. We know we will receive an amazing final product just like they did with our backyard.

It is a company where we do the work very well done

We had a new home built and needed to have a new backyard landscape installed. After researching many landscaping companies, we decided to work with Poco Verde Pools and Landscape. Our designer Rhonda was extremely experienced, professional, and pleasant to work with. Her deep knowledge of landscape design, materials, and plants was clearly demonstrated throughout this entire process. She captured all of our requirements and made many excellent recommendations in the design. She responded very quickly to all of our emails. She also made sure that we understood every detail and were comfortable with every decision that we made. The design that she put together for us was absolutely beautiful and we are so glad that we had Rhonda as our designer! The installation team led by Ricardo was very experienced as well. They worked very hard and completed the job ahead of the schedule with excellent quality workmanship. We highly recommend Rhonda, Ricardo, and Poco Verde for your landscaping design and installation needs. Our experience with them and Poco Verde was excellent and five-star. Thursday nights west coast swing is awesome

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Sub par work and absolutely horrible customer service. I had already written a bad review to warn people but the sales manager called me to please take it down, offering a gift card, repairs and free plants. I got nothing...They were very good at collecting their money, though. I am not taking this one down, keep your plants and gift cards Gary.

Raheem is the man. Hes super easy to work with. He pays attention to the details of what your vision is for your landscaping. The crew will work tirelessly on your project. The pictures are just the first step in our vision.

They should not be in business period !! The worse !!

Working with this company has been a nightmare. we paid for the work on July 12th. Today is the 26th of August and the work is not done. in order to get a response i need to leave voicemails to three people and also send emails. this is the only way to get a response from one of the people in charge of our project. they barely started almost one month after receiving the money and since then they bring 2 people (that show up around 11 am) for a couple of days a week. at least this time i read their reviews about irrigation and plants and stayed away from that. stay away if you want a professional job done.

I will give this business another opportunity, based off the possibility that a missed email occurred and revise or amend my review based on this new dealing. Ive changed one star to 3 pending results. Met with Gary, and was initially impressed. Raheem submitted a design, I sent back a slight change adding artificial turf. Then silence. No response to email, or phone messages. I have a new build Fulton Home and they were the preferred Landscaper. What a total disappointment. No one in Fulton Homes Estrella Commons is using them. That shouldve been my sign to avoid.

We moved here from the Midwest so we did not know a lot about the landscaping companies down here. After doing some searching, getting quotes and talking with staff, we chose Poco Verde Pools and Landscapes. The staff was professional and, even with recent supply slumps, completed the projects to our satisfaction. We had Poco Verde do our landscaping and pool and we LOVE it! They did an outstanding job and we would use them again!

Easy to work with.

Initial landscaping on my property was competed by poco verde. Plants were dead upon move in. About a month later plants are replaced but with completely different plants than were planned. I also requested a pool wrote about 5 weeks ago. Sent in materials and waited to hear back. Still waiting.

Working with Leon Orgel was a great decision! He listened to what kind of environment we wanted to create for a hardscaped back-yard. The first design proposal was very close to what we wanted. Leon was great at making the finishing touches that ended up making out backyard amazing. The water feature truly makes our environment work, because we want our place to be peaceful and a place where friends and family can have quality time together. The team that Leon assigned to do the actual work were amazing. The three-man team did everything from preparing the dirt, to adding pavers, Travertine, the water fall feature, and all of the plants. They exhibited a wide range of skills and abilities, and made Leon s design come to life. This place is beautiful, and I would recommend Poco Verde and Leon Orgel to anyone needing landscape work. I should point out one more thing that made a project of this scale come to a successful conclusion. Leon was available every time we had questions, concerns, or needed to make adjustments in the design. He never exhibited frustration and always treated us with respect and a listening ear. Kudos to a great team!

Design by Rhonda is beautiful and awesome. So sophisticated. She was so involved every step of the way (we had a lot of additions). Every concern was addressed in a professional manner. Staff and workers were very responsive to all of our questions. Cant say enough good things about them. And we will definitely be using them again for our front yard design.

We bought a new build home through Fulton and unfortunately Poco Verde is their preferred yard landscape company. We debated on whether or not to post our experience but after their watering system failed after just a few months we decided it was time. Mind you, my husband worked in this type of industry for many years before this so he knows a thing or two. The design of the yard was great, we worked with Rhonda and she did a fabulous job. It is a straight forward design with some turf, rocks, and plants. First, they put in the turf border with massive grout lines that turned an awful shade of white AND it was the wrong shape. They fixed it but the pattern was not even close to symmetrical. They fixed it again and it was just fine, not great, significantly better than before. Turf was installed incorrectly, plants were not planted in the right spot, and the box on the side of the yard is sinking. We went back and forth with several people from Poco for TWO MONTHS to get this job completely somewhat properly. There were other minor issues but that comes with the territory. Then, about a week and half ago we noticed that the plants are dying and the tree is falling over. The drip system dribbles out a small amount of water and some of the drip tubing isnt even close to the plants. We could only find one drip line to the tree, etc. We called Poco because the watering system has a one year warranty but failed after less than 4 months. It has been a week and a half with no communication about fixing the system. We regret using Poco. We put in our own backyard and our plants are flourishing, our trees look beautiful, and our turf is better quality (for less money). We wish we would have installed the front ourselves as well and saved ourselves the hassle. Update: the same day I posted this review I received a very unprofessional call from Gary at Poco. He was disrespectful to say the least and he had the audacity to ask me to remove my review because it hurts his business and it is not good for you (I am still not sure what he meant about how this review hurts me) It took a total of 2.5 weeks to get the drip system repaired and replace the dead plants. Victor, the employee that came to look at the yard was great! We would still not recommend Poco, though.

I have had nothing but a horrible experience. My yard was flooding, irrigation was not placed right which made some plants die. And it took them two months to replace a plant in my front yard. They placed a TOTALLY wrong plant that I never approved. My honest opinion I would not recommend this landscape company.

Used them for my new home. Mandy helped us with our design and explained the steps that would be taken. As promised, we started when we were ready and the work crew were on time and worked the project as if it was their home. Very professional and friendly. Thanks Poco Verde

PocoVerde did my parents pool and landscaping recently and boy were we impressed! Patrick did a beautiful design and the whole team there communicated with them about every phase of the construction process. My parents don t do computers or they would be giving 5stars themselves!!

I was referred to Poco Verde by a neighbor. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I should of read these reviews first. My first point of contact was great. I told someone would be reaching out to me, we could come in go over the design, expenses, requirements, and any questions. We were also told we would receive a military discount. None of this happened. I was attempting to work with Patrick, it was the worst experience trying to accomplish anything. The miscommunication, handling everything through email and trying to interpret and understand what is being asked or said is not professional. I asked on 2 occasions about coming in and going over everything, said he can do it through email. That was a disaster. I had a lot of questions and concerns over the construction of a pool in Arizona. When your spending any amount of money especially the amount for a pool, email communication should NOT be acceptable. I have been to other pool companies went in one day was treated exceptional, designed a backyard, picked out pool colors, went over all warranties, regulations, time frame, detailed expenses. All within a matter of hours. It had been over a week with Patrick with nothing but frustration and stress. Your customers should be treated as priority and be heard. Not to be sent an email that says You cant put turf in your while backyard because its too expensive. Dont know where he gets off on telling me what I can afford . I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Read all the reviews.

Worked with Rhonda and she was very helpful and responsive to our many questions. She was with us every step of the way and was instrumental in getting us to a result we are very happy with. The landscaping installation was done professionally and on time. Couldnt be happier!

This company has made my backyard a true staycation spot for my family. The quality of the work is 5 star. Juan and crew did great quality work. Poco Verde Landscaping is the recommended landscaper for Fulton Homes, the process started great with our designer Mandie. However, everything afterwards has been horrible. To start our pavers were not installed properly and are now needing to be fixed again for the third time. We paid $190 extra for upgraded 24 inch box tree and it would be lucky if it is a 5 gallon tree. the wrong plants and poor quality plants were planted in areas around the yard. Incomplete work, a missing trellis, a missing tree, missing irrigation emitters, missing stakes for the tree that is not the right size- all of this results in too many things having gone wrong. I would not recommend using this Poco Verde.

I am very pleased with my new backyard thanks to Raheem and his crew. It surprised me on how quickly it all came together! All my questions were addressed promptly and the installers were personable and left my property clean of debris when they were through. Nice job!

Poco Verde Landscaping is my go-to landscaper. I count on them. Actually they mainly do new builds but they are a great landscaper and do an awesome job. And theyre also doing pools now and they too are beautiful. If you get a chance to stop by their office they have a pool there thats spectacular.

My wife and recently moved from the PNW. We were as you can imagine, used to green and grass! While we love it here, we were excited to do some backyard landscaping which included grass. You know...for the dog! My wife designed it out, and we had Poco Verde refine the design and bid it. Because they had done the front landscaping which wee were very happy with. Price was fair, and the result are amazing!! We are very happy with our design, choices of rock, plants, and of course, grass! Love just watching grass grow!! Thank you!!! Oh, If anyone thinks about landscaping, I would seriously consider having Poco Verde do it for you!

This company landscaped my front yard. I am extremely pleased with the results. When one of trees died, they replaced it with a beautiful new one without me even having asked them to. A company that stands behind their product. I highly recommend them.

This has been a absolute nightmare trying to get this company to finish anything insane they never show up.when they are supposed to and 3 weeks longer then expected. Do not and I repeat do not use this company and DR Horton need to cut this contract or other new home buyers will be as dissatified as I am

The climate sensor they installed with my new home always reduced watering to %10 hurting my plants; Poco Verde told me the sensors dont really work... Rock in my front yard required replenishing after less than 1 year. The irrigation timer they installed on my new home broke in under 3 years and they wont install a superior one if I purchase it. Cannot recommend these guys :(

Not so good for irrigation.

My wife and I spent over 15k in landscaping and pavers with this company. We gave them a 50% deposit about 4 months prior to the closing of our new build through Fulton Homes. Leading up to our close date we began trying to schedule our landscape install. Getting ahold of the person in scheduling was very difficult and we were eventually recommended to wait until after July 4th week to begin construction to avoid having dirt piled up in front of our house for an extended time period. We followed their recommendation and had the gravel delivered the following week. The gravel sat in our street for nearly a week before being touched. Poco Verde couldn t tell when or if they would be out installing the landscaping each day we called. Eventually 1 person arrived and began installing the rock and sprinkler system. After our gravel was installed we were hit with another problem, Poco Verde hadn t ordered the materials for the additional pavers and artificial grass. When we gave our deposit they said the deposit was to order the materials for the job yet they never did. The landscape install ended up taking nearly a month for them to complete. Keep in mind this was a very modest/simple yard. I wouldn t use this company ever again and would steer clear. Update to my review. Poco Verde reached out to my wife about our review. Their solution to our problems was to offer us a free plant in exchange for us removing our review. BEWARE of this company.

Poco Verde was professional, timely, and fairly priced. The designer who helped us reimagine our backyard was very knowledgeable and helped us make decisions about the types of plants we should bring in based on our goals. Our yard has been transformed from an eye sore to a place we want to hang out in and entertain. Thank you, Poco Verde!

Poor quality. Never again

When we moved into our newly built house the front yard had already been landscaped by Poco Verde but the back yard was all dirt. I looked around at reviews and quotes and decided to go with Poco Verde. Bill at Poco Verde has been extremely easy to work with so far. He has changed our plans. at our request, many times and has been very receptive to our needs and concerns. He even said he would have someone come out and look at our front yard plants to make sure they were doing OK before the warranty ran out. Im so glad we went with Poco Verde. The attention to customer service and professionalism is outstanding. I will post again after the back yard is finished.

The personalize service is fantastic. Our consultant was very knowledgeable and willing to address and consider our opinions and concerns. Very excited they will submit all of the HOA paperwork for us. They are making the stressful time of purchasing a home a little less stressful and much more exciting. Cant wait to see the finished design installed.

I moved into a newly built home and the front had already been landscaped by Poco Verde. Plants and design were exactly as described in the plan. My house package included the backyard landscape as well. Poco Verde just finished that up and it is not disappointing. I decided to put in a pool before the backyard landscape was complete. After getting several quotes from other pool companies, I went with Poco Verde. From the first day of planning the design I knew I had chosen the right company. Sales and Design was very easy to work with. I could call or text anytime I had questions or needed clarification ( or if I wanted to make changes :-)) Professionalism, quality, and service have been superb. So glad I decided to go with Poco Verde.

If you re going with Poco Verde for landscaping or a pool which I highly recommend, make sure you ask for Bill Ringling. With a very strict timeline, Bill was able to take my concept and make it become a reality. The workers were fantastic, highly skilled, and professional. I still have landscaping to add to my backyard and will be going with Bill in the future. 10/10 would landscape with poco verde again!

Please don t waste your time with this unhelpful company. They argued with me and says my tree was not planted wrongly or it would have died,, the nursery who planted a new one for me said it was indeed dying from being planted at a Angle and was dying at the roots . They are Dr Burton s landscaping company and I m letting dr Horton Corp know how unbelievably rude and unhelpful they are, they wouldn t even fix it for me I kept getting Hoa letters left and right and they could care less. Save your money please and go elsewhere

From our first meeting with Mandie S., our designer, we knew we had picked the right company to complete our project. Mandie listened carefully and designed a plan for which we had only to make a few adjustments and changes. She informed us of wait times for products to be ordered and of approximate start dates. When Manny and his crew arrived on the exact start date promised, they worked diligently and professionally informing us of what they hoped to accomplish each day. When we had a very minor snag over a certain variety of plant, Victor arrived to correct everything. Our yard was completed to our highest satisfaction and the crew cleaned up carefully before they left. We cannot commend Poco Verde more strongly--they are a 10+ in our eyes. Bravo to all who worked together to make our plans a reality! Wed love to send some pictures, but being old school, we dont know how--guess wed better ask the grandkids!

We had a new build home with Fulton Homes. Unfortunately Poco Verde was the referred landscaper. First of all, we were treated like a side job. Zero communication with their scheduling. We had four shrubs installed that we didnt want, they were a month late getting our water feature installed. And to top it off, our turf we had installed in our backyard was so horribly graded, we now have a standing pool of water that our dog thinks it was made for her.

Worked with Richard to get our backyard landscaping done. Great work and competitive pricing. Would recommend them to others.

If you are looking for the finest landscape crew in the city, stop looking. This one is the best company! They completed demolition on backyard, installed sod and new trees, trimmed our big sycamore, and were very professional they did not even disturb my children napping schedule.

Even though I am reviewing this company after moving into our home in October of 2016. We live in the Charleston Estate community on Ocotillo Rd. This organization was responsible for landscaping our front yards. The job was sloppy and wasnt managed. I would really do my homework shop around and compare. Youre going to spend a lot of money on landscaping and it should be well considered.

Richard, Ronnie, poco verde crews and subs did a great job. All scheduled work was started and completed on time. We were always informed when each step in construction would begin. Pool turned out beautiful as designed by Richard. Any questions or issues we had during and post construction were answered and addressed promptly. I would recommend them to design and construct your pool

I left some pictures to share our experience with poco verde. At the end of the day it was finished, but poco verde uses subcontractors that just dont care about the mess they leave behind. To schedule them isnt always easy. Supervisor hardy ever showed up, always had to communicate with Ronnie by phone wondering when the next phase or why contractors would leave a mess, I understand it is a construction site, but not a dump site. So for the landscape i would give them 5 stars, but I think that they need need to figure out what they want to do with pools it took just over 3 months from the time we signed contract.

If I could rate this company 0 stars, that s what it would be. This Landscaping company is an absolute joke. Moved into a new home and had Poco Verde Landcaping do my front and back yard and it was the worst mistake. Not only did they take FOREVER to complete the front and back yard, they stole some of my artificial grass and claimed that they used everything they had, when we know they we had more grass than they used. We told them multiple times how we wanted our yards and they STILL managed to screw them up. Who wants just a little patch of grass in their backyard? Nobody. If you re thinking of using this company for your front or backyard or both, please don t. You will regret it. The list goes on and on about what they did, but I don t have time to list everything. It would be far more embarrassing for them if I did. Let s just say, they almost got reported to 3 On Your Side because of the amount of stupidity these people have. These people are the worst landscaping company after having them come back out several times to fix their mistakes, yeah several mistakes that should ve never happened. Fulton homes uses them and even they say they have a ton of issues with them (then why use them), even another Fulton home owner warned me Id have issues too...maybe we should ve listened. If you need landscaping, go somewhere else. You ll thank me later.

I received a call from Ed at poco verde. He seemed genuinely concerned about the issue I had. After looking at it together he offered to fix it and said I wouldnt have any more issues. He was easy to get ahold of and seems like a stand up guy. THANKS ED! I appreciate your time and help.

They are the landscapers hired by builder for front yard, thank goodness we did not use them for back (golf course side). Spent the time picking and locating plants for front, which was a wast of time. Plants were placed much closer to home then shown on plan. Designer did show future walkway from side garage door but irrigation in ground valves were placed where this walkway was to be built, which I had to pay to have moved.

Do not waste your time and money with this company. Bob, the owner is rude and condescending.

We used Poco Verde for our front yard and then several months later for our back yard as well, for a new build we bought from Fulton Homes in their Queen Creek Station community. In both cases we worked with Rhonda C. as our designer and we were extremely satisfied in both cases. During the design process Rhonda was very quick to respond to our questions and concerns and offer suggestions based on her knowledge, such as recommending or not recommending certain plants based on our criteria. During the installation process the workers were very professional and did a wonderful job. In one instance one of the Poco Verde workers who was doing paver work for our neighbor was even considerate enough to come over and ask us to close our garage door because he was concerned that the dust from cutting the pavers would get into our garage. After the work was completed we did a walk through with the superintendent Ulysses A. and he was very thorough in making sure everything had been done according to plan and following up on any plants that might need replacing or any other issues. He also did a nice job of explaining how the irrigation system worked and what the recommended watering schedule was, as well as an easy way to adjust the schedule for summer/winter. We also worked with Debbie D. in customer support who was very good about making sure some plants we had asked to be replaced were taken care of. Overall, for the price we thought they did a great job and would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I had my front yard done by them and Im very satisfied. Im now drawing up plans for the back yard to consider. Leon is the gentleman that helps me with my plans. He is easy to work with and knows the business. He is professional and know the plants and materials.

I wouldnt waste your money on this company. They take their sweet time to instal, they dont return your phone calls when there is a problem, and theyll tell you they sent someone to fix the problem but never did. My backyard floods at every rain, because they never trenched for drainage. They didnt level the backyard, so water pools up and sits for days...again because they never trenched. This company is disappointing not only on instal, but on design as well. Find a better company to use.

We used Poco Verde to build our pool and outdoor BBQ. They stuck to their schedule and Peggy our designer was awesome to work with! They exceeded our expectations! We will recommend to our friends!

I bought a new build recently (with just dirt in the back yard) and was referred to Rhonda at Poco Verde. She worked with me quickly to nail down a design that would work for me and meet my needs and they started the work about 1 week later. I had gotten other bids and found their pricing to be competitive too. They showed up daily, finished on time, and I was happy with the finished product. I would recommend them to others and will be using them again myself for future projects as they come up. Thanks Rhonda and the team at Poco Verde!!

Great company that stands behind its work. Almost 10 months after doing a fantastic job on my front yard, a wind storm really devastated one of the Mesquite trees they installed... owner personally approved replacement. I will use Poco Verde in the future.

Im not happy with our process thus far. Im building a new home with Fulton homes and they are their landscape company. They dont have time for us. The attitude that Ive perceived is that we are a waste of their time since our lots are so small. They seem unhappy to do these jobs. From being stood up and given inaccurate drawings of our home layout I just want to cry. Their drawings are 2 dimensional with know explanation. So basically I was emailed a drawing that my teenager could have done and a price tag of 6k. Thats it! I want to be educated as a buyer. After doing research on my own and learning more we have not been given any type of care. For example there has not been any communication on their part to say hey, if you want this fountain you should consider adding A and B to protect your foundation and help with maintenance. Im so frustrated because Im not a landscaper thats what you pay them for. I want guidance and assistance and I get zero. Just a two D drawing with a bill. Did I say the drawings are wrong as well. It doesnt consider the placement of the A/C units or the gas meteor of the other house. Which determines our fence line. So we planned for a pad for our trash cans to find out they may not even fit in that space. I asked for turf with out knowing all the factors about how hot turf gets in this AZ sun. I dont know all these factors. Or a plant that they chose which has thorns that my 1 year old will grab. They just dont care or have the time to educate you. Urg!!!!

They are a one stop shop company, providing landscape(plants and structures), and pool/decking installation. They provide the three qualities that I look for in any company: 1). Rushed. They just picked whatever make their job easy. They will not show everything available and included in the prepaid package. The guy who helped went inside stating it is too hot out. Hope your expletive is better.

They were in charge of the landscaping at our new build. They did a terrible job at the sales appointment (I knew more than the sales guy about pretty much everything, and Im no landscaper) and it has been downhill since. Of the 10 plants they installed, they only got 2 of them correct. I asked them to fix 3 of the incorrect plants (of the 7), and only 2 were corrected. A month later, Im still trying to get them to correct their own errors. Its not that hard to pick out the correct plants and stick them in the ground. UPDATE: Its been five months since we closed on our home. We have had multiple problems with the landscaping, and when I explained my frustrations to the owner, he apologized but offered nothing to make up for the horrid experience and terrible customer service. I have continued to have problems with their company and all I get are more apologies. Apologies arent worth anything if the problem persists.

I worked with Rhonda Cornejo. She was AMAZING at helping me pick out what I needed for my yard. She is extremely professional, gets back to you immediately, is excellent at her job and cares very much that her clients are happy. I cannot recommend her highly enough!!!!!!!

It has not even been two years and I have had to dig up the front yard dripper system main line and make six repairs because the lazy jerks who put the line in bent it in several areas causing major leaks and loss of water, and a huge water bill. Added Note, July 23 2015: Another leak, this time under the driveway, this is going to cost my parents a lot of money, plus the control box has not been working the last two months so I have had to turn the water on by hand every day. Stay away from this company if you can.

This landscape company is not good at all. Stay away. Certain customers dont fit their criteria, and if they dont have time for you that will make sure you know it. They take your $50 deposit, and then tell you that if your not spending more than $1000, they are too busy. Thats too bad, because we had plans to possible do more.

I paid for some upgrades (stub-out, pre-wired valve, and upgraded timer) on our new house. 5 weeks later (2 weeks after closing) and it still hasnt been completed. The yard was landscaped shortly after I paid, but the upgrades were never included. Getting someone to call you back is a nightmare as well. Ive left 2 messages, plus an email and I havent heard back from anyone.

My husband and I moved into a new build and were excited to design our own front and back landscape. Rhonda, our designer, and Myjia, our customer service rep, were were both AWESOME!!!! They communicated very quickly, were responsive to our needs and concerns, and ultimately ensured that we ended up with landscape that looked beautiful. A couple challenges that were quickly remedied: We were not happy with the original layout (when the ground is painted prior to installation) - Myjia had our lead installer out quickly and I was able to work with him to make sure the layout was exactly what we wanted. After front yard installation, we had a little challenge with our drip system at first (blockage) and one plant that didnt flourish, but again, Myjia had a supervisor our to our property quickly and the issues were fixed in a timely fashion. I would HIGHLY recommend Poco Verde - beautiful design, friendly staff, and we LOVE LOVE LOVE our landscape.

** Unless you are comfortable wasting 18,000 gallons of water per month, stay away from these people -- Their quality of work is low and their customer care is worse! *** Poco Verde was hired by my builder (Meritage Homes) to install my landscaping and drip system -- I had no say in that... The plants and quality of installation was sub-standard, but that is not why I am unhappy with them. It is the drip system they screwed up! The short of it was that the drip system they installed for me and several neighbors never worked right. They came over a few times to look it over and presumably check things out, but the answer has always been This is normal. All the wetness that you see is normal -- It is condensation. What I realize now is that they were just riding the warranty clock. Last month I got a water bill for 18,000 gallons (!!!!!!), so I started to check all the drip lines myself... Sure enough, they were running constantly even when the system was on off! Of course, now the warranty period is over and they refuse to fix it. They want the builder to pay them, and the builder refuses to. Stay away from these people -- Their quality of work is low and their customer care is worse!

Poco Verde just finished our backyard project today and we couldnt be happier with the results or the process. Since ours was a relatively small project as renovations go, we were expecting to be the little fish in the big pond. Nothing was further from the truth! From my first e-mail to Poco Verde through the designers site visit today, we were treated with consideration, promptness and with the full respect a much bigger project would guarantee. Our designer, Peggy, let us know in advance when things were expected to happen and always called us if the workers or material were delayed. She also worked around times we would be out of town and most importantly she spent time on the job site on most work days. Weve already mentioned to her our desire to have Poco Verde do our front yard in the future.

We chose Poco Verde upon recommendation of our spa salesperson. Meeting Bob and seeing the very attractive ramada they build sealed the deal. As we had a new build, we had a lot of decisions to make and many changes were made along the way to accommodate price and esthetics. In the end, we have the landscaping that matches our dream. The entire crew is unmatched in the construction industry. Even the care with which the men set the boulders, shows their skill, caring and pride of workmanship. Their paver work is gorgeous and the ramada, complete with some tricky curves, is perfect. When frost threatened, Poco Verde held off planting for a few days. Yes, we thought they might get sick of us while we mulled over what to plant where, and how many plants we needed, and where to put the spa, but through it all each individual was completely helpful, courteous and professional. We should have known better. This company certainly operates under the adage of you get what you pay for. We went with Poco Verde because they gave us the cheapest quote but had I known what a tremendous disappointment this whole experience would be, I would have paid more to work with a more professional company. They started 4 days late (after I had to call and ask what happened), ran out of rock (and didnt tell me, I had to ask why an entire side of our house was left empty) and then had the nerve to compliment their own work. Dont waste your time or your money.
