I bought a 40-year old house with too many mature and overgrown bushes. Donny and his team came in, made good suggestions on how to de-clutter and then did the work, including cleaning up several intense weed and poison ivy areas. We just moved to the area and dont know SC plants, etc. and have a big yard (1 acre) and Donny helped with a design, with plant and tree selection, installation and overall landscaping and gave us lots of ideas. A1 Landscape was very knowledgeable about the species of shrubs in my grandmother s yard and pruned them. The ornamentals look great. Now, if we can figure how my grandmother s sole zinnia came to an early demise.

A-l Landscaping did such an amazing job when we almost lost our cypress tree due to ice storm a couple of years ago, It was uprooted and falling over. Our tree today is doing great and growing so tall.We just experienced the same problem 12/18 due to another ice storm. This time it was 2 other 25 tall Italian cypress trees. Don came over immediately and evaluated the trees and again assured me they could be saved. He doesnt automatically say that they must come down. To look at them now, you would never believe they were hit so hard by the storm. A-1 did right by us. We had a plant die soon after installation. Donnie and crew waited until the appropriate season and replanted it for us free of charge. We were pleased with their plans and their work when completed. They were way better than I expected. They were always prompt, attentive and listened to our concerns. will definitely use them again! I hired Donny Williams and his team to a bit of landscaping at our home. After the builder completed the home construction, we were left with a back lawn of mushy red clay. Donny came in with an estimate in our budget and his team worked efficiently and with excellent care to our property. Two weeks later we had a back lawn and woods that were cleared to the water so we could put in a dock. We couldnt be happier. I highly recommend them.

We are new to South Carolina and our backyard had nothing but brown grass. We contacted Don to create a plan. He recommended several plants and shrubs that would enhance and beautify our property and that would also do well in this climate. His price was fair and the work was done within a few days. I was extremely impressed with Dons knowledge of lawn care and beautification ideas when I met with him over 3 years ago. He definitely thinks outside the box. He made some great changes to my front yard with new shrubs, river rock, flowers and straw. His associates like Garth are also good at executing homeowners plans. Were new customers to A-1 and wanted to improve our backyard. Don responded promptly to an email and came by to talk about details shortly after. He was very patient to explain details and answer all questions we had. The new beds look really good and he and his team did a great job. We liked that they positioned the plants during the day and when we came back from work we were able to have a look at the setup before planting.

We have done a couple projects with A-1 now and have been very impressed with their patience and responsiveness. When I requested a consultations Don was quick to come out and spent a lot of time with me going through ideas, questions and project details to make sure he understood what I wanted. The team worked hard on my projects and when I had a few minor improvements they came back out quickly and fixed everything up. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend using A-1.

Called them out to level the back and front off and lay new seed. All they did in back was trow seed down and covered it with straw. I have big dirt piles all over my back yard and the side they didnt even touch. The front all they did was toss around some top soil and throw grass seed down.The guy came out today to talk about fixing it and finishing the rest. He even agreed it didnt look good and said if I wanted them to fix it, it will cost more money. Do not make the same mistake I did. Find a professional that cares.

We usually dont take time to write reviews but have been very impressed with A-1 Landscaping. They have done multiple projects for us and have always been friendly , punctual , and clean up after themselves well. The last project they did for me was 1/2 the price of quoted jobs specs to save money ! Very impressed you dont find lawncare bussiness like this these days. Very satisfied !

I would highly recommend Don and his group of workers. I called Don and asked if I could be worked in before Thanksgiving. Well, it is less than a week before Thanksgiving and it is done.
