Eric was very thorough in discussing my problem areas (weeds in landscape areas, weeds in cracks within driveway, and backyard patio and edges of landscape. He did a great job explaining when the results would take effect could be seen (about 10 days). When services resume in Spring 2025, please include spraying weed control product where they are present outside of the lawn area (spray patio, driveway, and landscaped areas). Thank you. The mosquito and shrub service I would recommend. The over seeding - not worth it. Done quickly and missed seeding the areas that needed it most. Almost like someone threw some seed on the area with their hands. Weeds ... forget it! Not impressed at all! I had to do the bulk of pulling and applying additional weed kill myself despite a few extra attempts by staff to try and control. My neighbor uses an app on her phone with Scotts products and looks better than mine and is more affordable and reliable unfortunately.

Absolutely bad service for their mosquito. Multiple no-shows. No way to actually reach an employee, just a call center in another country that never does anything other than read a script telling you how sorry TruGreen is and they will work to do something about it. But nothing ever happens. They apparently pay actors overseas to read that script in some sort of foreign accent instead of actually resolving problems. If someone actually shows up to do a mosquito spray they will do it in the pouring rain, or right before a pouring rain, so nothing actually gets applied to the shrubs around the house. Apparently the local office is just a solicitation center where they have salespeople signing customers up and get a commission for every sale. And they pay someone in another country to respond to reviews stating how sorry they are, but when you answer the canned message, they dont actually follow through. I think its important to do google searches on which government agencies to file complaints with and make your complaints to the Attorney General of Michigan and other federal agencies to get any customer service actually done. You should also dispute your credit card for payments made on services they fail to provide.

Had a problem with a recent lawn application. Made one phone call to TruGreen and they quickly resolved problem by doing a redo that resolved the problem. They are always quick to respond to satisfy the customer. I have used TruGreen for several years.

My yard continually gets worse and worse the longer they come. Everytime I try to cancel they offer a free treatment. Then my yard gets worse. The tech admitted at the last visit that he didn t know anything. About grass and would need to ask his boss a question I had. 0 stars

When I bought the mosquito service I was told they would come out and re-service if I found mosquitos biting. They did an application on the 6th, in the pouring rain, and by the 17th mosquitos were biting. I call the local phone number, which transferred to someone in customer service in another country. The girl said she would put in a request to find out if next months treatment could be done earlier. Thats not what I was promised. I was promised a re-service. Of course, nobody at TruGreen actually called me or contacted me to confirm they got the message from the overseas chick. So apparently, re-service guarantee means a foreigner will take your complaint about mosquitos then do nothing.

We noticed some dead spots on the lawn so we called and TruGreen sent Carl Johnson. Carl was great, he took his time and explained what was going on with our lawn and then applied a treatment. Carl was very helpful and professional.

Their service is ok. I used for a few years but didn t see it working much better than doing myself and I can t afford the expense anymore. I have tried to cancel with them for past two summers and they just can t let me go. They either talk me down to lower price or will only cancel for a few months and then come back out to service my lawn after I insisted I do not want their services anymore. They won t let me cancel online and I have to call them and the waiting to talk to someone is ridiculously long.

Our 2nd application and Im very pleased with the results so far...Professional ontime good value! After our 4th application.... Giacomo M has done a awesome job with our lawn this year...Our lawn has never looked so good! There was total frustration from the start. I was told by the individual that signed me up that at the initial visit, there would be a walk through with a Specialist who would be analyzing my lawn and devising a specific plan geared toward achieving a healthy lawn. Because I had signed on during Covid when there was a No Contact policy, I was adamant about speaking with a Specialist . I was assured that a note had been placed in my file indicating nothing was to be done on my property until the person had spoken with me or my husband. Well, that DID NOT happen. A Specialist was scheduled to arrive between 11:00 and 11:30 AM on July 8th to administer Grub and weed treatment. Instead, I chased down an individual leaving my property around 9:00 AM. This person had run out of gas, informed me that he was only scheduled to provide Grub treatment, and would be back once he got gas. After a 20-minute agonizing wait, I was finally able to get Tru Green on the line. The customer service agent advised me that there would be someone else out between 11-11:30 to treat the weeds and fertilize. This Specialist would be doing that initial walk through, etc., and WOULD NOT be doing anything to my lawn until they contacted me. The only contact I had was seeing another one of your trucks pull off at approximately 11:00 AM, leaving a receipt hanging from my door knob. In disbelief, I again contacted Tru Green. This time, I was informed that the second person had run out of fertilizer and would be returning in three business days . I am definitely ready to cancel your service before it even gets started. This is the second time I ve given Tru Green a try, and the service appears to be worse than it was during the Covid Pandemic. I wouldn t recommend you to my worse enemy!

Today my favorite lawn specialist, Giacomo, was here which pretty much guarantees a five-star experience. He noticed a developing issue and took extra measures to counter it. He took the time to explain what he was doing and provide valuable advice. It is always a pleasure to interact with Giacomo.

Yesterday 5/29 Specialist Desi Jasper, license # C007160670 performed the mosquito service and he will be our preferred specialist! He was very diligent and extremely thorough! I do have a decent amount of items on the property and after reviewing the cameras, hands down the best specialist we have had! Our previous specialist was here less than half the amount of time, even when she could access the backyard. Im glad Trugreen offers a preferred list of Specialists and another list for do not return. We are beyond happy with his service!

We had our first treatment 11 days ago and now we have more yellow flowers popping up in our yard not sure if the treatment is working

Ruined my lawn and I could not get ahold of anyone to speak to that was an actual person. I had brand new sod and trees/bushes planted last year with an automated irrigation system. My grass is yellow and filled with weeds. After cancelling service, they still came out and provided treatment. Christopher Benavides to be exact. I hope they call back when they see this review. Maybe that s worth the call back for them.

Alex did an awesome job today! He even explained to me about the insects habits and how to prevent them from reoccurring damage and stings! He got rid of many active wasps, bees & hornets and more I m sure I don t know about. He is very knowledgeable about his job!

My lawn is very nice. I paid for the entire season in advance. Yesterday instead of doing my lawn which was scheduled they did my neighbors. In calling customer service they said I have to wait three weeks because there isnt openings until then. Unacceptable. Not my fault the guy cant read an address. In three weeks Ill have weeds.

Had Trugreen for 2 years and my grass is still patchy and muddy. Their seeding did not work or they did it on bad day. They came out to redo the work and it was done in less than 10 mins. Mind you I live on a massive lot. Never go through a big company again. They send out guys that dont care and rush the job.

I wouldnt recommend true green for my wost enemy, this place will give you a good deal in the beginning never tell you that you have to tell them not to come back, they call me a few days ago saying they were going to spray for grub control, I didnt mind because I needed it, then they called and said they were going to air rate our yard and over seed. I decided to let them do it because I needed that also. When I got the bill I paid 85$ for grub control and 235$ for the other services. True Green will give you a good deal in the beginning and will not tell you that you have to cancel there next service, thats how they get there money back from the first service. Please find another company to use.

Not showing up for Mosquito treatment multiple times with no reason cited. All the customer care department does is taking note, apologizing and telling you it has been rescheduled. And then they dont show up for the new date. The tracking feature they offer on their website does not work or gives arrival times that are not lived up to. Their customer communication system and processes are unreliable and simply annoying. Cannot recommend Trugreen.

Have had 4 cuts by them. 2 they rescheduled for over a week and 1 they never showed up for but said they completed the cut. The most unreliable company to work with. You d have a better time working with the neighborhood kids. At least they would show up.

I had a few minor problems and they addressed them right away

Signed up for a years worth of services. About the only thing they did well was maintain no weeds, but they say they treat for clovers and we had clovers still in our lawn all year. They aerated our lawn last fall and put fresh seed down after our lawn was eaten by grubs - only for the grass to disease this summer. A tech came out and said that they didnt seed the area because there would be bluegrass that could survive the disease, but it was the seed they spread so hes just covering for his own company. The front lawn has been the thinnest weve had in the 4 years weve lived here, and the back lawn didnt thicken either. All in all, it wasnt worth anything close to the $60 they were charging every month for fertilizer and weed control. The seeding was also over $200 only for the tech to say that wasnt their seed lol. Waste of money for a year.

My lawn hasn t been taking care of in years so with two week control applications it s starting to look at better.. hopefully by next spring I ll be the envy of my neighbors

Someone from this location sprayed my yard with an unknown substance even though we did not hire them to take care of our lawn. They were supposed to spray my neighbors lawn and did ours by mistake. I m leaving this review because I talked to multiple people on the phone who weren t even working at this location and they were not concerned at all and refused to give me any information on what was sprayed. One person even told me that I d have to drive to the location and talk to someone there to find out what was sprayed. That s a lot of work for someone who just had someone TRESPASS on their property and spray unknown chemicals all over their yard. I have kids and dogs that play out there all of the time and wouldn t have even known that something was sprayed if we didn t have it on our video cameras. The person who did it knew that they messed up because they moved the warning sign from my yard to the neighbors. They didn t come up to my door to let us know that they made a mistake and sprayed chemicals all over my yard. I understand that a mistake was made, but the negligence and lack of empathy from the people I spoke to on the phone is not acceptable. I can t tell you not to use this company because I didn t use this company. I can tell you that their customer service is awful and to never call them if you need assistance.

This is not the first time that the service guy came to treat my lawn and left in 5 mins. I have a corner lot! And throughout the summer I was spot treating weeds myself because of inadequate coverage. Today, im literally watching the guy spray across the front lawn and leave. But sends me a service review as if he adequately treated my property. I dont have time to be watching a lawn treatment when that is Trugreens job! Im going to try another company next spring because this is ridiculous.

Usually the worker puts the signs in the yard, this time he just laid them on the grass. He also didnt leave a summary of the work performed.
