Last winter my home was hit by 3 of my neighbors trees and water started pouring in through the foundation into my sons bedroom. The bedroom is four feet underground and on a hill. It was difficult to know exactly where the water was entering from. Three separate Structural Engineers (one from the insurance company, one from the public adjuster, one from the attorney) all had their own ideas on how to fix the problem. I researched online for a local company that had experience in grading and waterproofing. After seeing so many stellar reviews for Regal I contacted Jacob. The next day, Joseph came. He took his time to explain to me his idea for fixing the problem. A few hours later he emailed me his estimate for the work. A week later, Joseph sent Walter to my house. Joseph came by everyday to keep updated on the progress. Walter and Joseph explained everything they were finding and how they were repairing it. Four days later the job was totally completed. Walter showed up on time everyday and his work is amazing. I highly recommend Regal Landscaping and Construction. Regal can teach a masters class on how contractors business should be handled. Osher was entrusted with a complex concrete pouring and staining job under an extremely tight timeline in preparation for a property showing. A last-minute discovery of a significant sewer repair necessitated breaking ground. Oshers crew masterfully re-poured concrete for the affected area, stamping it to mirror the existing driveways intricate design flawlessly. The concrete was then expertly stained, adding new highlights that elevated the propertys character. The result is seamless perfection, as if nothing had ever happened. Oshers exceptional direction and leadership coupled with is crews skill, precision, and dedication are evident in every inch of their work. Highly recommended for any demanding project. **UPDATE: Since my initial review, I have encountered a number of significant issues with the work performed. Several sections of the concrete that was poured exhibit soft, grainy patches, resembling pockmarks or voids, which required resurfacing. This process necessitated reapplying what was described as a stain but appears to function more like paint. Rather than penetrating the concrete, it seems to sit on the surface, and as a result, it has been peeling away repeatedly. Osher s crew has returned on three occasions to address both the deteriorating surface and the peeling. Unfortunately, the peeling has recurred, and a new soft spot has appeared in the concrete yet again, revealing further erosion beneath the paint layer. I have made two attempts to contact the foreman in the past few weeks, including sending photographs to illustrate the continuing issues, but I have yet to receive a response. I have included additional photos to highlight the contrast of the work and the problems that began approximately 1 week after the initial job was completed. As it stands now, I do not feel confident in asking this crew to return for a fourth attempt to resolve the ongoing issues. It has become apparent that they are either unwilling or unable to address the problem effectively. The recurring nature of the defects, coupled with the lack of communication from the foreman, suggests that the crew may be fatigued with trying to correct the situation. Given this, I am no longer comfortable relying on them to deliver a proper solution and will likely seek the assistance of another contractor to rectify the matter. **UPDATE 2: Thank you for your response. However, I d like to address some inaccuracies and the tone of your reply. 1. Communication: I have never interacted with you directly as the owner. My dealings were with your project manager and foreman, so it seems your response is based on second-hand information, which may explain some misunderstandings. 2. Redoing the Concrete: While grinding was mentioned, I wasn t repeatedly advised to redo the entire concrete. I was encouraged that the option chosen would have a positive outcome, but that hasn t been the case. 3. Stain Application: As noted in my review, the stain acts more like paint and continues to peel, with soft spots reappearing. Despite three attempts, the issue persists. 4. Warranty: While I signed an agreement without a warranty for the stain, I relied on your team s guidance. After multiple failed fixes, my confidence in a lasting solution has diminished. 5. Contact Attempts: I contacted the foreman twice recently, sending photos of the ongoing issues, but received no response. This lack of communication further eroded my trust. 6. Tone: I was taken aback by the accusatory and defensive tone of your reply. I understand that resolving this issue may be frustrating for your team, but I believe a more constructive and professional approach would have been more appropriate, especially considering that we have not had any direct communication until now. While I appreciate your efforts, I no longer feel confident in continuing with your team.

Regal landscaping and construction was fantastic from the beginning of the project to the very end. He replaced my driveway and bricked my porch. The crew was on time, explained what they were doing every step of the way, knowledgeable, and helpful. Jacob was available the entire time and I m so happy with the results of the project. Incredibly happy with our project. We redid a large backyard that required removal of dirt and existing concrete, installation of drainage and updated sprinklers, and new cement. We decided to go with a combination of grass and turf. We expected this large project to last about a month. From consultation to project completion, we finished in 2.5 weeks! Everyone was incredibly efficient, communicative, and professional. We love our yard!

I had the pleasure of having Regal Landscaping and Construction do some work in my yard. they removed two large planters including walls, concrete, pipes and dirt from my yard. Built a retaining wall and poured a foundation for a 8X14 shed. Jacob and his team were very professional, efficient and reliable. I am very pleased with the results, especially the retaining wall, and will be happy to have them back to do further work in the future. Christian (the foreman) was very easy to work with. When searching for a reputable company that is reliable and affordable, one must do a lot of research. We had several estimates and contractors over to provide insight and quotes. It might not look like a ton to the untrained eye, but it was a project that took a seasoned crew. We are beyond impressed with the outcome but more so with the journey leading up to it. Regal Landscaping really delivered! Jacob is easy to work with from the beginning. I did free consultations with three different landscaping companies and decided to go with Regal because Jacob got our vision from the get-go and also gave a fair quote. He respected our choices and also provided sensible advice based on his experience. The crew is very hardworking and also very polite. They did a nice and professional job. Our project included front yard landscaping, paver stone installation in the whole backyard, a backyard planter with benches, and a patio cover. Since we didn t pay for a design of the exact plant layout in the planter, on the day of planting, I did have to be there so all the plants could be placed to our satisfaction. Everything turned out great. Some even better than I had in mind. There was an issue with the HOA halfway through and the project came to a halt. But working together with Jacob, we were able to resolve the issue with HOA and the project was completed without too much delay. One lesson we learned from this process is that if you have a strong preference, discuss, clarify and finalize the plan to the last detail so there will be no surprise after the fact. Heard about Regal Landscaping through a good friend who recently had their driveway and backyard redone. I cannot recommend a better company! Jacob gave us the vision and direction with a complete 3-D model and rendering to show exactly what our dream backyard would look like, it came out beautiful! After the first meeting and deciding where to set up our outdoor kitchen it was off to the races. Expected the process to take 3 to 4 months but our dream backyard was finished in 2! During the renovation Jacob stayed in contact to make sure our backyard would come out perfect. All my friends request the barbecues to be at our house until they get theirs redone with Regal! Update 5/8/2024: Looked great at the beginning. After installing they said that we should water 2x a day for a month and wouldnt need fertilizer for a year. I put my dogs on the side yard and havent had anyone in the back yard to avoid messing with the grass while roots settle. After a month they recommended watering 2x a day every other day so I adjusted sprinklers and checked that they are going off at 5pm and 3pm like they instructed. Now it is dying and I reached out for advice, they just said to water every day again and add supplemental but no advice and what kind of supplemental. I am concerned that it is too late since the patches are dead. I spent a lot of money for just having sod for a few weeks and it just start dying. _______________________________________________________________ My backyard was a jungle due to all the rain we had been getting. I needed a space for my toddler to go out and play so I reached out to a few companies on yelp and got quotes. Their quote was similar to others, but their communication made Regal landscaping stand out. Joseph helped us get a quote, set up the job once we confirmed, and kept me updated every day. I was impressed at how quickly they started and finished the job. Their employees were professional and nice. There was a miscommunication with the areas getting sod and the areas getting DG but Joseph made sure I was happy with the backyard! I will be hiring them to do my side and front yard in the future.

As contractors and in the industry, we were very concerned about finding the right company to do our brand new pool. We heard about Regal Landscaping and Construction from friends of ours. Jacob had helped them with a previous project, their driveway and sidewalks. We decided to call and see if he would be able to help us with our pool. We reached out to his office initially and Jacob got back to us within the hour. He was excited that a previous client had referred us and mentioned that he could definitely do the pool for us. We set up an appointment, and after a 2 hour walk through, we couldnt wait to get his estimate. Jacobs estimate was very competitive. After a month or so, we made our decision and requested him to begin engineering plans. We received the plans after 2 months, which was relatively fast in our area. The process was smooth! We had a Whatsapp group and every question they received was instantly answered almost every time. The pool came out amazing, exactly like the design they showed us on the 3D imaging that was made prior to starting the project. We are very grateful for our overall experience with Regal Landscaping and Construction. I dont think we could have chosen a better company to go with for our pool project. We really recommend Jacob and his team. I could easily say we will be hiring them for future projects!

These guys are AWESOME! Osher worked with us to figure out a plan that fit our budget, and executed that plan perfectly. We did a full Reno of our pool deck as well as another section of our backyard, removing old concrete and pouring new paver-style slabs with artificial turf. The end result is exactly what we wanted, the job went quickly and smoothly, the crew was professional and friendly, and everything finished on time, even with some rain delays. Short story: Regal Landscaping & Construction was faster to respond than any other contractors, lower in price, and delivered immediately over a shorter window of time, with great communication and adaptability throughout the job. Long story: We were looking to get our backyard redone and went through 3 contractors before we landed with Joseph and his team. It seemed to us that it would be a fairly large job due to the previous owners leaving the backyard as a sandpit. Meeting with Joseph he made it seem very quick and simple and he was absolutely telling the truth. We set a date and within 24 hours of starting the job the entire yard was torn up, and over the next 2 days everything was transformed entirely into a beautiful paved and usable space. After that we had very well timed and accurate deliveries and installations of beautiful plants and lighting. Throughout the process Joseph was very easy to reach and talk to and his team is minimally intrusive despite the scale of the project. I would 100% recommend Joseph and his company Regal Landscaping to anybody in need of landscaping. They have done such a fantastic job for us and I truly appreciate it. However, Jacob gave me great insight into the durability and classic looks of pavers. I thought pavers only came in a brick pattern but I was surprised to find this angelus pattern that I really love thanks to Jacobs suggestion. We spoke with three contractors before moving forward with Regal, as well as with one client who chose them after vetting no fewer than eight landscapers for the work she wanted done, and we remain confident that they were the right people for the job. Very heavy rains and wind caused excessive amounts of water to pool on my driveway, bypass all the weatherstripping, and flood the floor of the garage. I was referred by one of the garage door specialists to Jacob of Regal Landscaping and Construction. Jacob evaluated the situation, explained the options, and recommended a drain be placed across the entrance to the garage as the most cost effective solution. The drain traversed the front of the garage where it met a pipe which turned down the driveway and into the middle of the front yard. The job was scheduled for a about a week after the decision to proceed was made. The men arrived exactly at the time I was told they would. They worked carefully and efficiently and, when finished cleaned the driveway and the walls where the asphalt abutted. Several days after the work of placing the drain and the piping were completed, Jacob returned to water test the work. Jacob is very knowledgeable regarding landscaping and has suggested several other improvements for me and I highgly recommend Jacob and his company for this type of complicated landscape work.

We had Jacob and his team work on remodelling our back garden in West Hills. The original garden had cracked concrete flooring, uneven ground and was very outdated. His team demolished the concrete flooring and installed limestone pavers around the pool, artificial grass, created a fire pit area with pea gravel, did a planter border and a few additional finishing touches. It took me some time to find the right company to help me with my xeriscape front lawn remodel. I called Regal and met with Osher. He knew exactly what i was looking for, he was knowledgeable and assured me this would be an easy process. They started promptly and exceeded our deadline expectations. As an individual who enjoys to BBQ with family friends, I needed to upgrade my BBQ kitchen which was falling apart. I was fortunate to find Regal Landscaping & Construction to complete the project. Importantly, I needed a contractor who is communicative, trustworthy, detailed orientated, and customer service orientated. Jacob demonstrated all the above personal characteristics. Jacob guaranteed the BBQ countertop and kitchen would meet our familys expectation. His workers demonstrated craftsmanship and detail in building our BBQ Kitchen. For our project, we selected Crystal White for our smooth stucco walls and charcoal for the BBQ countertop . The patio installation was completed by Kevin from Regal Lanscaping and Construction who worked with precision and assured all city inspection passed without issues. Jacob and his team worked diligently to take care of the city patio and eletrical permits pass. As a client this was important due to the recognition that city permits is a hassle. Jacob takes pride in serving his clients and customers. Regal Landscaping & Construction exceeded our expectations and can be trusted with home projects.

Regal redid our entire back yard, and we re very pleased with the (nearly complete) result. Great responsive customer service, with Joseph and his workers taking care of our every request and doing very careful work and cleanup. Joseph has good design ideas on the large scale, like, this area should be tiled, you can have a path of stones over there, that area can have plants with mulch around them. He leaves the details up to the client, so you choose your own plants, tile/paint colors, outdoor light fixtures, etc. Some might want a greater lever of handholding and advice, but for us it was fine. Highly recommended!

We chose Regal Landscaping to remodel our entire back yard and are happy with the results. The customer service was very attentive to our needs. Project manager Joseph was especially helpful in making adjustments to the schedule when I had to leave town suddenly due to a death in the family. He provided video reports so I could keep up on progress, very useful. All the worker teams do quality work, including making minor repairs to small dings that are inevitable with major demolition work. We have a very harmonious result in marrying the hard scape platform area that provides the view area, while also having a Zen like garden experience in the lower garden area, complete with accent lighting and a raised cedar planting bed for a must desired herb garden. The transformation is terrific and friends already want to come look at the results in person. Highly recommended!

Wow. All I can say is that Jacob really DELIVERED. Cordial, prompt, responsive, professional and detailed Jacob s crew exceeded our expectations. Let me just start by saying that I did my homework. I got 3 different proposals before selecting Regal. Jacob, the owner, was the one who met with me and my husband. We instantly had a good connection. He understood we had a budget and did the best he could to meet our number without compromising the design. He had great suggestions and listened to us. The crew was very professional and responsible. They cleaned up the job site every single day (keep in mind they were working during the triple digits temperature during the summer). Jacob and I would meet and discuss details, and he knew right away if something needed to be redone because it wasnt up to his standards, and to me thats precious, the attention to detail. Their payment system works really well and you get a receipt the same day you make a payment, that was fantastic so I could keep up with all the cost. He also doesnt proceed with any additional work without the clients approval. Ill definitely hire Regal again to do my front yard. If you are wondering if they are the right contractor for your renovation, look no more!

We just bought our new house in Santa Monica and was looking for a landscape and hardscape contractor for a long time. We Interviewed plenty of contractors and each of them was very different in their attitude, ideas, pricing etc. We found Regal landscaping and construction on Google. We called to the office and gorgeous Julia picked up the phone. We set up an appointment and Jacob arrive after a week or so. From the moment Jacob entered the house we had a good feeling about him. He was calm, polite and attentive. He was the only one who offered different design and different ideas which was much more sense and creative. We got the to an agreement after a month or so, his price also was reasonable and competitive. We started out project and everything went great!. Jacob did an amazing job with our backyard. We moved in last April and the backyard was in horrible condition. Jacob was able to remove the dying lawn, cut back the neighbor s bushes, put up a really nice fence, and lay down turf. He also planted trees and some eco-friendly plants along the fence. He also finished the job two weeks early! We couldn t be happier.

I found regal on instagram..they actually arent the people that do the jobs..they sub contract the work out to other companies in the area..the sub company that was used at my home did an awesome job..however regal was the one running the show and their customer service was awful..and I noticed that they posted my home on instagram with a fake review that I did not write..if they only posted the picture then it would ve been fine..but they posted a false review that I did not write and proceeded to delete my comments about how I wasn t the one that wrote the review and also blocked me..so since you re blocking my silence on instagram then I will take my voice to google..please don t make false reviews or use other peoples work to make it your own..thanks..ps I don t need that $50 Amazon card to write this review You re funny..I was the one that paid for that project..and I didn t write that review..and you never sent me any gift card..don t have me post the text messages between us..once again you re ridiculous..continue scamming

We recently redid our large backyard with Regal. We got a few quotes from other landscaping companies and Regals pricing was very competitive. After narrowing the list down, Jacob, our project manager, helped us with ideas that would best suit our needs and budget. We demoed existing 40 year old concrete and put in pavers, turf, a new firepit and remodeled our outdated bbq. His crew was hard working and capable.
