We ve used this wonderful team 4 times now. They are always polite, professional, the lowest prices and show up on time. We re really happy with their work.

Just used the Albert & Lewis crew to trim a massive oak at my new house. This is the 4th time I have engaged them. Jay Harrold and his team are simply the best! They are the most competent and professional tree trimming company that I have ever used or seen in the Tampa. Their equipment is better than any tree company that l have seen before meaning they can do virtually any job. And they are humble and high integrity!

Their team did an amazing job with some regular maintenance tree trimming and removal. They also assisted with removing a fallen tree after the storms. The clean up was nice, you couldnt tell they were here cutting down limbs and trees. LoL! I will definitely use Albert & Ellis in the future.

Jay & his people in Albert & Ellis were an absolute pleasure to work with. the price to trim a couple of trees on our property after we bought our house a couple of years ago was fair & their attention to detail was very refreshing and appreciated. recently after the last two storms hit us (Helene & Milton), we had two large oak trees fall on our roof. we reached out to Jay again to see if they could come take care of this for us and they made us feel like we were a priority for them. they had the trees chopped up and off our roof within a day and really took care to make our roof and yard look clean and debris-free. the price was also really fair for this, and we particularly appreciated that we weren t taken for a ride on tree removal services when they were in such high demand. all in all, Jay and his people are great. if and when we ever need any tree trimming/removal/landscaping done, Jay s going to be the first guy we call.

Had these guys cut down another tree and they did a good job but broke vinyl fence and still has not been fixed. It about 3-4 months. I also had the redo my irrigation system and definitely would not recommend them for that. Not a good job. It cost me over $700 and still making repairs.They cut the tree down and loaded to the truck in 5 hours. They clean and blew all the saw dust and shavings. Will use them again.

They did a backyard cleanout of an area that was extremely overgrown, they removed 2 trees, and got rid of a bunch of leaves in a hard to reach area of my roof. I made a mistake using this company. When I asked Jay about why I was being charged more than what I was quoted, I was told that he was a millionaire and that he didn t have a problem dumping the clippings and leaving. I ended up paying the price increase, but was still shocked how the default, and seemingly going in position of this company was to take advantage of their customer. Bushes around the property look hastily cut and below average for what you would expect from a professional. I would recommend going with another company who values integrity and their relationship with the customer over someone who s just trying to squeeze all they can out of you to get paid and move on to the next job.

My next-door neighbor used their service, based upon my recommendation after seeing their reviews. They did a very good tree cutting job. However, in the process of cutting big limbs, one of the limbs fell onto my air conditioners outside unit and broke the plastic top off it. I did not discover this broken piece until about a week or so afterwards. I contacted the company and spoke to Jay who ultimately looked into the replacement cost. It turned out to be costly (about $600.00) so Jay and I discussed the problem and he felt that he could pay half so that we would ultimately split the replacement cost. Although I was not entirely happy having to pay for something that was not my fault, I was glad to see that Jay stepped up to the plate and at least paid for half of the replacement cost. BTW, the tree cutting job they did turned out well. I would recommend their services.

We have used Albert & Ellis Landscaping, services for two years, each year they did Tree trimming and pruning of our Queen Palm tree, always a excellent job. Tree perfectly trimmed. Also they always clean up leaving area looking like they were never there. Just a beautiful Tree. Also you dont have to be there for the service, They do the service and you pay through their app. I will definitely use them every year.

I received three quotes from tree trimmers to cut and remove trees from my back yard. The rear fence line of my property borders on a farm which had overgrown tree s that were overhanging onto my property (above the bird cage of my pool). If there was a storm, I was worried that a falling tree limb would damage my pool cage and home. I was looking to obtain estimates to have the tree line reduced to 10 feet above the ground and anything that was cut was to be removed by the tree company (obviously). Jay Harrold from Albert Ellis came and provided a quote (which wasn t the lowest), and he left a positive impression with me at the time he provided the estimate. After receiving all quotes, Jay agreed to match a competitor s quote to complete the job for $2,000. What a mistake I made in hiring this vendor. The job was NOT completed and many of the tree limbs that they cut were not removed and left on both my property and on the farm in the back of my home. Some of the cut tree limbs actually fell onto the barb wire fence and damaged the fence line. Once the cut tree limbs started to die and I could see all the dead leaves, I realized even more just how much was left behind. I mistakenly paid Albert Ellis the full $2,000 without providing a final inspection of their work. I exchanged text messages with Jay Harrold and asked him to return to remove the tree limbs that he cut and didn t remove. I wanted to give him the opportunity to finish the job before I posted a review of his work. I understand how important positive reviews are for a business and wanted to give him an opportunity to finish the job as we had agreed and if so, my review would be consistent with his return. Unfortunately, Jay Harrold told me that he would NOT be returning. Attached are pictures of the cut branches that were left and its disjointed look that remains. I have never asked to get anything more than what I paid for and merely wanted the project completed to the specification that were agreed upon. The job just looks really bad and unfinished. I would never recommend this company. I am even considering civil action against them.

The guys showed up on time removed a huge hazardous oak from my property along with an unsightly palm, cleared all debris and even helped me moved some things in my yard. My husband and I were seeking a company to design, upgrade, and maintain the yard of our recently purchased home. The job included removing existing lawn; which was mostly weeds; treating the yards afor weeds, removing of shrubs from back and side yard , repair irrigation system, install drainage on both sides of the house and tie in the gutter downspouts into drainage system as well as add plants to the flower beds. We interviewed 11 landscaping companies. During our initial meeting with Jay, he was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He even made suggestions for improvements that would further enhance the aesthetics of our yard and prevent issues later. We were so impressed that we awarded Albert &!Ellis the contract; even though they did not have the lowest bid. We believed that they offered the best overall value. The work was done according to the agreed upon schedule and surpassed our expectation. A week after the job was complete, we had a drainage issue off our lanai. I contacted Jay and he responded. The issue has been repaired; excellent service after the sale. Albert & Ellis also groomed our Palm trees; just an exceptional job all around. Most other companies wanted me to call them first, but Jay took the initiative, which is one of the reasons why he won my business. Not only that, but he was fully professional, punctual, informative, and has competitive fair pricing. His employees did an amazing job of cleaning up quickly as he cut. Poor communication. Booked this company and they told me they were two weeks out. I said not problem, and booked them for Friday July 10th. ( took me three attempts to even get the date) Bad customer service. Leading up to the tree work at two rental homes I mange in Ybor City I had tenants ready to go for work and dogs secured, and I took off from work to be there. The company could NOT give me a time leading up to to Friday July 10th, and on that day told me it would be at least 7pm before they could show up. Total lack of respect for me, and my tenants and our time. Bottom line is this company will not respect your time. Randy Clunn Tampa

Amazing service! Called to remove a tree at my rental property because I was worried it was going to fall and hit my guests. Albert showed up, was very professional and removed the tree in no time with great pricing.

I was getting my house ready for sale and couldnt reach my previous tree trimming company. So I looked up tree service companies on Thumbtack and saw the good reviews that Albert & Ellis had received. I contacted them and promptly heard back from Jay, the owner/operator. He came by for an estimate, and was very professional. He followed up with a quote by email within a few hours that was very reasonable and I agreed to the quote. His team then showed up 3 days later to do the job. They all had professional uniforms and impressive equipment. I had some tall palm trees and was also impressed at the extra precautions that they took, including securing the ladder at the location of the man doing the cutting, and a person holding the ladder down below. They trimmed everything neatly, and took away all branches, seed pods and other debris from the job. They finished the job by cleaning off my pool deck with a leaf blower. Everything was done neatly and efficiently, and if I need tree work done on my next house, I know who to call.

The team was incredible, from the first consultation to the date of service. The trimming and pruning of the tree was done efficiently & much quicker than was originally anticipated. Are you kidding, 5 stars and 11 reviews so it must be family and friends and co workers. This ALBERT and ELLIS scalped our palms and it took months to grow back. One tree is most likely going to die. I would rather pay more money and get good service and worst yet, I think he did it on purpose. Avoid this company and remember that NO ONE takes the time to write a bad fake review, nothing to gain in that. The good reviews are probably being offered money off or something.

Neighbor called code enforcement and the City of Tarpon Springs gave me 30 days to cut down a tree because debri was dropping in his yard. These guys responded quickly came out and delivered just as advertised. Cut down and hauled away in a less than 3hrs. Tasked them with cutting down a tree in my yard. They left debris and branches all over the yard without cleaning up. They made excuses about why it would take them awhile before they could come back to finish. I eventually hired another company to clean up their mess (All Clear Landscaping -- go hire them instead!).
