Customer service was impeccable. The agent was very professional. He explained the process, but at some point, discovered the repair service required additional work. The agent showed the unforseen problem area, and what entells to correct the problem. Job well done!
Just started my second year with Massy. They are OK but I don't understand why they can't seem to kill the weeds without destroying the lawn. When I first started, they killed large sections of grass. They came back out, acknowledged the mistake and said they would "Make it right." They also said the manager who did the application himself was fired. Anyway, the grass has grown back in most of the areas but one where mostly weeds are growing. I also still have lots of weeds in most other parts of the yard too. I would really like to get the weeds dead without killing the grass.
I gave it 1 start because there is no zero option. I had mee grass and sprinklers installed a year ago, Massey has been the only company maintaining my yard. I now have all kinds of weeds, my beautiful Saint Augustin grass is dying and bahia is taking over, I have been calling, for months, they send one guy. Then another, then another, i call back because all they say is we have to talk to our mgr. Ray, well Ray has never showed up. Hector, one of the new managers took pics of even called Ray in front of me on speaker. Ray said the grass needs to be replaced that plugs won't work in that large area, well plugs were added anyway and of course they died because bahia took over. Their service is horrible, they tell you all kinds of stuff to get you in the door as i pretended to be a new client, they even came out, of it was a sales call so they ran, i was told my present co. Did bad work and that they could fix it. Hello the bad company was Massey, they just didn't know at the time, apparently their right hand don't know what the left is doing. Icalled them on it and they denied it. Don't use this company, you'll regret it. They should be ashame of their work. See photos, this is Masseys work!
I have has Massey service my lawn for 1yr and 6 mo. The beginning was fine as it continued they started pouring seeds down then spraying the grass. They was coming out twice a month. Each person is different when they are maintsing your grass. The manager cam out to get my payment from the door . Where do they do that at. Then he came back i wasnt here he went to my neighbor house ask for me Like how rude.of u. My neighbor called me I told I will pay my bill and to cancel my service. I only owe 100 and they act as if it was a lot of money it was for one month. To rude for me and not professional there is nothing in the contract saying I will receive house visits for payment. Never Again
My husband and I have been impressed with Massey for some time. This company is truly committed to restoring our yard. Every employee has been kind, but especially Joshua B. He is passionate about his work and reaches out to us each time he visits so that we can discuss updates and progress with our yard. He even encourages us to contact him if we have any questions or concerns in between his visits. He truly goes above and beyond to make our experience wonderful!
We've had Massey Lawn Services for too long and our experience has not been good. We had them sod things a year ago - and the manager was here to 'mark' our sprinklers with a flag. He was marking Massey termite traps! LOL not our sprinklers. A year latter the sod looks horrible, it's patchy and not good. They service our front lawn only and bill us for the full yard and say 'we're coming back asap to do the back' - but weeks go by and nothing. They are supposed to call before they come - and they just show up without a call. We are changing service.
We have been Massey customers for almost 4 years, and I have to say we are extremely disappointed. Massey has managed to kill sections of our lawn every year for those years which we have been customers. Each time, it is our fault somehow the lawn died. Chinch bugs eating our lawn, after we called many times is also somehow our fault. Peter, the local manager, came to our house back in October 2022 and agreed they would take responsibility for the latest issues. As of today, 5 months later, nothing. I should note, they did ask us to pay almost $500 to adjust our irrigation system in that time. The irrigation tech came to our home, left mud and debris on our driveway and front porch - not to mention the sprinklers now spray the driveway, sidewalk and street. This company is a complete joke, and you will soon be sorry to do business with them. Be warned. See the “green” lawn they made for us.
Long term customer here for lawn maintenance. Had an issue in the past that resulted in grass in backyard turning brown and later diagnosed with fungal issue. It was treated and revived. About a year later, started showing signs of the same issue again and raised the concern to the company a few weeks back to prevent further deterioration but look at the grass now. It looks really bad. I’m disappointed
Wort services, they burned our backyard grass. Its been 6 months and they are not able to do treat. Going to stop their services
The inspector who came out to talk with me about the lawn service was probably the nicest young man Ive ever dealt with. His name is Hunter and he was so kind and explained everything to me.
We have been using Massey Lawn Service for years and always get compliments on our beautiful green yard. Our technician, Joshua Benitez, is tremendous. He is detail oriented, will always go above and beyond to make sure everything looks as good as it should. We know we are in good hands with his knowledge. Several people on our street have signed up as a result of his great work.

Peter went above and beyond to solve several irrigation issues we had. I had almost given up hope that he was going to be here yesterday as I had been told. Yet at 5:50 pm he called, apologized for it being late in the day and asked if he could still come. He arrived at 6:10 pm and worked diligently until 7:30 last night correcting all of our irrigation issues. Thank you very much for being a man of your word. I will continue my relationship with Massey when receiving this type of service.
Many people believe that Massey is way over priced. They are higher than most but you get what you pay for. We ve had Massey for 18 months they show up on time I do have they say they re going to do if there s a problem they come back. I can t ask for anything more than that. Oh by the way, my yard looks the best it has in the last 20 years.

Outstanding customer service, friendly and courteous. Peter and his partner (sorry cant remember his name) are awesome. Real people...they were great and I enjoyed our interaction!
After installation of the new sod in front yard, my service tech applied appropriate treatment as required by my type of sod. I was away when he was here, but when I returned home, there was the Massey sign in front yard to let me know treatment was done. I also received email with report of everything that was used/done.

I ve had Massey for several years now and my current technician Josh Benitez has been the best of the best. He s been attentive, understanding, responsive and has treated me white glove with top notch service. With Josh I ve always felt like a priority and his only customer when he services so many. I ve appreciated all his help and is one of the reasons I ve stayed with Massey and not looked for other competitors. You all are very lucky to have him there.

Repaired valve for irrigation system after unearthing the control box, though the box is still below ground level and will have to be corrected after the fiber optic is repaired, do not believe at this time that it was due to work performed

I cancelled service today after two years and about 1900 dollars down the drain. Our yard never improved under Massey services. The technicians always made excuses for why it was not their fault for looking the way it is. What am I paying $78 a month for? In the end, I wised up and cancelled. I was a fool for waiting this long. Do yourself a favor and consider someone else for yard treatment.
Ive been a customer with Massey for years and appreciate the quality of their services.
Amazing company Great people great service
Serious concerns over my lawn care. These folks have faithfully maintained my lawn for the last few years. Now with an increasing area of grass turning brown and the explanation implicating the variety of St Augustine being responsible for the dead spot, (allegations that its natural for it to die off and not be naturally replaced), that Im likely to be ready to spend for a complete sod replacement. What part of the managers assessment sounds right? Ready for a 2nd opinion by a certified FNGA technician. Truly disappointed by this company.
The service provided is not what we were told we would receive by the salesman. The flowers around our palm tree and the perimeter of our ornamental grass areas were killed twice. Told the service repasentive the first time, said they would ensure it would not happen again. However, the service we received this month the technician still continued to spray close to these areas. Killing these areas again. Called several times to speak to a manager, told they would call us back...waited several day for a return call. In the process of cancelling the landscape service agreement.
Our lawn has had a fertilizing company for about four years. The first three years were not Massey. The past year has been Massey. In this past year, the quality of our yard has deteriorated immensely. When we transition to Massey, it did not have many weeds or patches of the yard with Chinch bugs. Currently our yard looks absolutely horrible! I had them come out to see if they could make it right and basically they told us to water the yard more. We are watering the yard the most that we can given the county restrictions. Nothing has changed over the last four years except for the company that we chose to fertilize our yard. They had no solutions and were not particularly empathetic or flexible to help solve the problem that they had created. I do not recommend them at all and I am canceling services immediately. Choose a different company.
They talked a good game but my yard died in their care. So, I wouldn t recommend personally.

Laurence is always responsive to our needs, returns phone calls promptly, is very knowledgeable in his field and has my lawn in amazing shape which is no easy feat in my area. Terrible telephone customer service for potential new customer. Called Massey number listed on their website to get an estimate on lawn care services. After waiting 4 minutes on an automated loop, an operator finally answered the call, but then re-directed me to another extension where my call was on hold for another 4 minutes. When I finally spoke to a Massey representative the individual wanted to put me on another hold. When I responded that I would not wait long, the representative asked for a moment. After 20 seconds of waiting a moment, the representative asked how they could help me. I responded that I wanted to arrange an estimate on lawn care services. The representative pretended not to hear me and then abruptly disconnected my call.
