First Choice Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance LLC in Tallmadge

Installed grass seed for my new home, and it is - at best - an average job. There are bare spots in the back yard where there should have been straw. I also suspect that there is an area on one side where drainage might be a problem, but too soon to tell for sure since we haven't had any real rain yet. Probably worst of all is that a competitor finished an installation a couple of homes down from mine yesterday, and it looks like they were left with a nice sprinkler set-up. Whether the homeowner knew to do that or it was recommended by the installer, I snapped a picture and sent it to First Choice. The response was that it was a great choice - something that he recommends for new lawns. The problem is that he certainly didn't recommend it to me, even though I specifically asked his advice on caring and watering when he finished the job. The owner came across as a nice guy when I met him, and I presume he is based on other reviews (which is why I went with him). From what I see from the job the competition did, however, there are much better options for new lawn installations.
