I am really satisfied with the service performed by the The Lawn Johns. They did an excellent job. The edging and the mowing of the grass were superb. I explained to them some things I wanted done and they did the task with complete satisfaction. They worked diligently until the job was completed. They were also very friendly and very professional. Because of their satisfactory performance, I highly recommend them.
We've been using The Lawn Johns for over a decade for our yard maintenance and they've always done an excellent job and kept things looking very nice. Over the years, however, the trees in our front yard have become overgrown, choking out the sunlight and killing off the lawn, hedges, and pretty much everything else. After removing the trees, we hired them to design our landscaping, lay sod, and plant some flowers. They also suggested we fix the drainage issues, which was well-worth it to ensure our yard looked its best. After getting the HOA approval, they quickly came in, completed the work very professionally, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Since they completed the work, I have had at least a dozen neighbors compliment us on our new yard and how incredible it looks. The transformation is amazing as you can see in the photos. I can't recommend The Lawn Johns highly enough, and you can't go wrong hiring them to do anything in your yard.
So I haven’t been able to take care of my yard due to surgery and my husband works 12-15 hours shifts in the hot sun so the yard truly got away from us. I am absolutely satisfied the service I received. They were on time, efficient and extremely professional. They asked me exactly what I wanted and double checked before doing anything. They not only leveled the yard and killed some snakes but they also left a row of flowers/weeds at my request because #SaveTheBees. They also dug up an invasive elephant ear while maintaining my philodendron. The owner Mark is amazing and his staff are so polite! As a woman and a homeowner I’m always hesitant with lawn men coming to my house, especially when my husband isn’t home, but I felt very much at ease. I will be using their services moving forward.
We've used them for a few years now and they've done excellent work. Always prompt with their visits, handle any additional work we've asked them to do without issue and are in and out quickly with exceptional quality yard work. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for good lawn services.
I was very pleased with the service, price, and outcome of the job Lawn Johns was contracted to do at my home. I trusted them to clean up 3 large beds (weeding, spraying, trimming, laying landscape fabric, and mulching in my absence due being called out of town suddenly. These 3 beds were in terrible shape. They did the work and Marc sent me pictures when the work was complete. I’m very happy with the result.
Marc and his crew have done a great job on my lawn! They were quick to come out and provide a very reasonable estimate. They put in sod months ago which still looks great today. I have recently begun a year-long contract with them. Any time I need anything extra done or find something I'd like done differently, they are quick to take action and make sure I am completely satisfied. Marc and his crew are friendly and work hard! Would definitely recommend for your lawn care needs!

Lawn Johns really came through for us when no one else would! We were getting ready to put our house on the market and our realtor suggested two other companies, one kept blowing us off and one was super rude and said he wasnt interested in a one-time job. we were running out of time and our realtor asked around with his coworkers and Lawn Johns was suggested. The owner immediately responded to my request, and was at our house within a few days to get it all spiffy and ready for the market. They did fabulous work trimming all the hedges, tending to a few flower beds, and mowing and edging the lawn. If we werent moving out of town I would absolutely use them again and will recommend them to anyone needing landscaping done.

Our yard was in a bad way and The Lawn Johns came to our rescue! Affordable, quality work, efficient process. They brought a 5-person crew to clean up our 2.6 acres in just over an hour! And when they were done mowing, these guys pulled out their blowers and cleared up any piles of clippings they saw so it wouldn t kill the grass underneath! We had a small miscommunication on where our property line ended (our fault as much as theirs) and they sent a crew out the very next morning to finish a spot they had missed. I definitely recommend their service!

This is absolutely the worst lawn group Ive had the displeasure of running in to. Not all, but some of the employees are extremely disrespectful. This company will destroy your property and then tell you they didnt do it and offer ZERO in return other than ugly denials. They will destroy your standing plants as the skill of the weed eater is AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. I COULD DUCT TAPE A WEED EATER TO BABOON AND GET BETTER WORK THAN WHAT THEY DISPLAY. like I said they will destroy your standing plants in pots lapping the side of your pots with the weed eater, blast the side of your residence with grass from weedeater and leave it there so it looks awful and GOD HELP YOU if you have a vehichle ANYWHERE near where they are weedeating as like I said the weedeating skill that this company brings to the table is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. They take the weedeater and blast the direction of your vehichle so that you come out to see your car or truck is completely scratched up and covered in grass that was high pressure blasted onto the bumper by the stuuuuuupid person who weedeats for them. My new vehichle I purchased is now damaged because of their stellar work only to be told. I just need to move my vehicle. So instead of weedeating the other direction away from vehicles who anyone who isnt a rookie would understand, I now have to make sure Im in my vehichle and driving around while they do our property AWAY from them. They destroy waster meters on property and absolutely 100% DENY ANY FAULT WHATSOEVER AND REFUSE TO FIX ANYTHING THEY BREAK (WHICH IS JUST ALL THE DAMN TIME ITS A NIGHTMARE) My advice to you ????? RUNNNNNNNN The other direction move your cars and trucks and definitely dont try and reason with or ask them not to destroy your property you will only get disrespect and have your property destroyed anyway so good luck with that people STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRASHCAN FIRE !!!!!!
We had Lawn Johns come out to take care of our very overgrown yard. From start to finish, it was an easy experience. Marc, the owner, communicated with me every step on the way (which I really appreciated). The employees were great. And my yard looks super! Ill definitely use again.
I could not be happier with our service from start to finish with Lawn Johns. We had them do a major landscaping project that we have been meaning to get completed for a while. The project included our front and back yard with hedge trimming, a full service of mowing, clearing out weeds, and edging with roof blow off. They pruned trees, removed unwanted shrubs and trees, and landscaped our front beds and around our AC unit with the heavy fabric and decorative rocks. We also had a tree removed from tree service earlier in the year so they put in sod where it had been removed. They had some leftover sod so they were able to fill in other areas of our yard as well. Marc was very responsive with coming out to give us an estimate, provide us with details, and answer any questions we had. The day of the project the whole team came out and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend them and plan on using them for all our lawn needs in the future!
After calling several other lawn companies in town only to get a very pricey quote or have them never show up for an estimate, I called Lawn Johns. They came right out, gave me a reasonable estimate and scheduled the work in a timely manner. Both houses they did for us look great and Mark is easy to work with. Would recommend.
Weve used the Lawn Johns twice now to combat my lawn mowing laziness and I cant recommend them any higher. Good prices, excellent work, quick and courteous. You wont go wrong with them.

The guys did a great job with our lawn. We couldnt be happier with their work. They also were able to get us scheduled in very quickly and get it all done in one day- both things we really appreciated. It was evident that they made a lot of effort to get to us quick. Will use again for sure.

No respect for neighboring yards. My neighbor hired this company and the first thing they proceeded to do was blow a huge amount of the leaves and pine needles from their property right onto my yard. Then to top it all off, the guy mowing the lawn positioned his mower to blow all of the grass trimmings into my yard. Then they just left. How very professional. I have never seen a legitimate lawn company behave like this before. If you are looking to irritate your neighbors, this is the perfect company for you. Otherwise, you have plenty of better options to choose from in Tallahassee.
